the issue with every version of top gear is they keep trying to recreate the banter of clarkson, may and hammond without having the years of developing the relationship of clarkson, may and hammond.

Not that it isn’t all the time, I do love the Excalibur, Taz, Tony trio. Their dynamic is fantastic. I also love Nigel and Kevin together. And unpopular opinion, I know, because he sucks as a person, but Jericho really makes me laugh when he’s on commentary on Rampage

Anyway. More wrestlers on commentary please.

Hullo, Peeps

I've decided to make a side blog for wrestling so I wouldn't confuse my other followers who don't watch wrestling. I've been a fan of wrestling since I was a wee little girl back in the late 80s and a teen in the early 90s. I stopped in mid-2000 because I was moving around the world, and I can't believe after 15 years, I fell in love with wrestling stuff again. And who knew, mostly it came from a new kid on the block, AEW.

For all the talks about Jericho trying to elevate young talents, he was being an asshole towards Kommander and Top Flight during the commentary, claiming that the rope-bouncing moonsault move that they had was The Lionsault and was stolen by them. And also, this was so unfortunate to the fact that the wrestlers were not white.

First of all, Chris - you don't own the move. They were doing the moonsault, which every wrestler had done before. If this was a Heel moment from him, yeah, I don't give a shit.

Compare that to Nigel who was actually praising Kyle O'Reilly for using his Nigel Lariat move and seemed so excited that someone else used his move! He genuinely was happy that another wrestler sorta copied his movement. And he's supposed to be the heel!

Listen, I was a fan of Jericho. But he got on my last nerve recently. I heard what you said, Jericho. You said you wanted to retire without fanfare. You just wanna stop wrestling and do some Fozzy tour until you're tired. You said so yourself on your podcast.

Well? Just do it.

-Cody and Jay at one point were tag team champions. And it was hilarious.

-Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania entering with the attire and the music of the Shield

-AEW having the most annoying and petty EVPs of all time. But I love them, got their autographs, and yes they are serving C. And fishiness (and you know what it means Matthew Jackson...😏)

So probably 2024 was a terrible year for my life, phisically and mentally, but wrestling did provide me joy, happiness, escape from troubles and, inspiration. Thanky you wrestling divinity from parts unknown. I own you so much.
