So Gerod butler just got announced at 50 something that he’s dating someone twenty five years younger than him and I immediately went…..wait something isn’t right here. I look at the pics of him and his “gf” and I’m like they look like they just got assigned together. He has a sequel for a movie coming out within the next few years, he’s trying to get back in the lime light. Gladiator 2 will premiere later this year, not sure if he may have a cameo or not but the timing of all of these 40+ yr olds dating these random actresses and models in their 20s has me like…… 🤔 what’s really going on? But why did Chris have to marry the one he was assigned to because I just don’t think it’s legit. I have theories like well people won’t harass him with “why isn’t Chris Evans married” I also see Sebastian Stan dating someone he looks like he’s doing a job with and I know for award seasons being with a significant other is supposed to be”help” chances, not sure why because it should be focused on talent but we all know how Hollywood is.

Now mind you a few really probably like younger women but the majority when you look at the pics seem uncomfortable and like they are just doing what they have to for publicity but the its like why are they agreeing to this? Then you hear about random projects they have coming out or people whose careers should be on hiatus, magically getting multiple roles announced.

Yeah something is up and it’s crazy to think of the rumors of Hollywood and go….are they trying to normalize certain types of relationships? Leo DiCaprio is know for dating younger but many believe he has “beards” and that he’s in the closet, not my business, but Leo finally got that Oscar and we all know Hollywood is a crazy place so who knows.

I haven't had the chance to look at any Wakanda Forever posts since I finished the movie, but I can't say I'm surprised that people ship them. They really did have a lot of chemistry when he was showing her around his kingdom, especially in that scene where he gave her his mother's bracelet, and there were a few minutes there where I did wonder if they'd have A Thing. The thing is, I think that's less a reflection of their relationship and more that Tenoch Huerta, Namor's actor, is just really good at connecting with other characters. I forget the exact scene, but there was a moment after he attacked Wakanda where I thought he and Queen Ramonda had the same kind of chemistry that he and Shuri had. I can definitely see the appeal, and I'm not overly concerned about the age gap because yes, Namor's actor is 41, but Namor himself is, like, 500 years old, and honestly when you have a character who's practically immortal, who gives a shit? I'm pretty ambivalent about the ship myself, but I definitely see why people like it.

There’s a huge difference between being uncomfortable with an age gap between adults and comparing that to child brides and shit. You can talk about the potential issues with age gap relationships without acting like the younger person is a child and not a grown adult.

Comparing a potentially problematic relationship between ADULTS to pedophilia is a fucked up thing to do and absolutely does harm to actual instances of it.

Brad Pitt another A-list and Hollywood celebrity like Chris apparently is dating his manager 26 years younger than him! I checked and he's 60 years old and his current woman 26 years old just like Abba. So what is boggling my mind is that, why Chris got backlash for it when the age gap between he and Abba is just 16 basically half of the age gap between Brad and his current partner but NO ONE is saying nothing about them. He's still has million of fans loving (yes loving him!) and supporting him, even the general public is interested in him despite this weird relationship. Why?¿?¿ it makes no sense tbh whatever conclusion we come up with.

Honestly I can accept age gaps until 17 let's say roughly 20 but only if they're both consensual adults. I think 26 years difference even if Brad's woman is an adult is too much given that he's 60 years old. However they're just dating for now.

Another famous hw couple Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton have 16 years age difference and no one is saying nothing bad but rooting for them together (same). Yes she's 41 and he's 57 but let's not forget they dated/married pretty young and EVERYONE in a age gap relationship will reach that. Same thing you know?

Another famous hw couple Rosie Whiteley and Jason Statham - 20 years of age difference but his fans never left and they do love and support him like before even his woman is well liked by his fans and he showed her off multiple times.

There are plenty of other famous hw couples (most married) with even bigger age gaps but I see no one complaining even if the man shows up at every event with his woman and viceversa and fans are literally happy for them.
