Fuck I literally was not ready. I knew it was coming from someone but I was not prepared for it to be Kole. The music he put over it and just the genuine joy you could see them having in it 😫😫 i had the privilege and honor of going to 13 birds games this season.

Man I’m gonna miss these guys. My heart breaks for them. It’s a family out here in the desert. I will always be rooting for this kid!!

i feel so bad for driedgs, mostly, because god what a fucking hard spot to be in. he’s put in knowing they’re on an away game, in an arena they’ve never won in, coming off a morale crushing loss to the penguins that ends a fucking 9 game long win streak, with 4 guys out and lines shifted all over the place without so much as a good practice in between . AND chris hasn’t played in a while. because joey is tired and they want to keep him top shape for the game in edmonton . so they throw chris to the wolves and say “not great odds here, have at it” knowing how rough fans are on goalies . he was set up to fall. like i know there’s nothing else that could be done and it’s all part of the sport but it makes my heart hurt. hope he’s not too hard on himself
