Hello! I have decided to take part in the World's Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation. I'm not doing a full shave but a super short style. =) I am also planning on donating my hair to create a wig for Children fighting cancer. Blood cancer claims more lives than breast cancer or melanoma. And today another 35 people will be given the devastating news they have leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or another blood disorder. My Hair.

I'm so excited to cut all of my hair off. Not because it's a change, I mean, it's more than that. Yes, it will be an alteration for me, But there is something more deep, there.

I'm excited to chop off my hair, because I'm finally in control of something. I have the power and independence, to do something impulsive, wild, crazy . . . on my own.

Nobody can tell me no. It's my body and I can do what I desire. That's something nobody can take away from me, or attempt to put up a wall so it's out of reach. I have never let myself get that far. I can feel this confidence ooze out of me already, and I haven't even chopped my hair off yet. Perhaps this all seems silly to one, But this means the absolute world to me.
