‘I think the reason Crimes of Passion is so well liked despite being a Single LI book is because Trystan is presented as an equal to MC. Where other books have a very clear power dynamic where the MC works for or is dependent on the LI, in CoP that is never the case, and that makes for a wonderful dynamic between the characters. I do miss having a choice in who I romance, but I would mind more Trystan Thornes in my life.’

i love that crimes of passion actually allows mc to have bitchy responses when other characters are rude instead of being a pushover like mc is sooo cunty sometimes and i love that for them

i really love the idea of trystan incorporating regal fashion in his everyday style - something something about how the crown never leaves the boy even if the boy leaves the crown behind - anyways:

free my boy of the scrunkly grey suit they deserve better.

plus it's always a little subtle - like a pop of gold or silver, basically being pearls of light.
