oddinary blueberry chan was iconique and i adored it but was the damage to his poor hair worth it when it faded so fast? jury's still out on that one. and that transition period right before the chocolate factory fanmeet where he had short platinum hair and was really feeling it. speaking of platinum hair, if i'd been into kpop at the time of miroh era chan i would've been 10 times more insufferable dvjdfbjdb that look is. yeah. yeah 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 feeling very sane very normal you see

the maxident - god's menu - 5-star era is probably my holy trinity of best channie looks, i think dark/natural brown hair suits him the best especially when it's kept on the longer side and the (fake, sigh. mistopher you would look amazing with a real one btw pspspsp) nose piercing i think rewired something in my brain

also shout out to that time he had purple hair for like 5 minutes for the mama awards back in 2020!! top 5 channie looks of all time imho

but if i had to pick only one i'd say the current styling! he looks so happy, the fits are amazing, his hair is the longest and healthiest it's been in years AND it's dark 10/10 brilliant incredible amazing showstopping

1. I gave had this as my lock screen since they posted it on the insta before the LoveStay chocolate factory fanmeeting. I considered changing it recently to photos from the concert but I’m indecisive and this is a nice one. subtle enough but still fun to me.

2. I was listening to astronaut and yt knows me so well and lined this one up immediately after it 🥰 obsession through osmosis from @something-wild-cat originally but now it’s just an obsession lol

3. I screen recorded this because of the sheer delight on Seungmin’s face as he RUNS to do his part. From a boy who hides his smile a lot, the grin was compelling. Also Han’s shove at the end cracks me up.

Prompt dump: Minsung #1

What I'd like to imagine of what happened to minsung during and after the bridal lift thingy at the skz chocolate factory fan-meet [2.13.22]

Lee Know can carry him, Jisung knows this. In fact, he has the privilege of being carried multiple times by his hyung. His strong arms and stable lower body makes the whole experience comfortable and nice, his seemingly small frame fitting perfectly into his hyung's arms with so much comfort. Truthfully, he trust his hyung, just as he trust all of his members, as they are his safe-space, his home, his family. But it has been a while since Lee Know last carried him bridal style, and while he has no problem with it in the first place (he's the one being carried lol) and he's confident that Minho wouldn't drop him off on his own ass, it's just that things between his hyung and himself has been a little odd lately.

It wasn't even the "bad odd", they still interact like they usually do, talk like they usually do, hang out like they usually do. However, there are moments when their touches linger a tad bit longer, or when one can feel eyes bore intensely to the other, or when the elder slips off from his usual voice and switches to this soft, domesticated, and sweet tone. I mean, he's always soft around the maknaes whenever they're at home, but weirdly (totally not thinking in an assuming way), he acts a little bit different towards Jisung. Like he can feel that there's an underlying emotion below the surface of his actions, despite it being the usual Lee Know thing.

And while Jisung doesn't want to think anything deeper into that, he can't help but ponder over it. It gotten to a point where he tried to act the same way to his hyung, just to test something, that something, he is not aware of. And after a week of a few clumsy, sweet, and domesticated shit ass, back-to-back actions while being subtle about it, he finds himself having multiple staring contest and time-to-time tensions between him and Minho. He doesn't know what those are, what it means, or even tries to find out exactly what it all was. And since then, it happens every once in a while, and they are now in this predicament in which they will be in very close proximity while being in front of hundreds, maybe thousands if you include the online watchers, witness Jisung as he is swept off his feet by his hyung.

Jisung got ready and the MC counts, hopping into Minho's arms. Although a bit clumsy with his leg, alsmost slipping off from the elder's grasp, Minho was able to adjust Jisung comfortably.

See? He can do it. And, holy shit it's been a while. It really is nice to be carried by his hyung like this. Seungmin and Hyunjin are struggiling though, and while everyone was so preoccupied with the duo's miserable state, Jisung got the chance to register their close proximity. He always knew that his hyung is handsome, his features carved by the gods. But, damn was it so much prettier up-close. He was probably staring too hard since Minho turned to him and caught his eyes. It was a few seconds, he might have imagine it even, but he catches his hyung's eyes travel to his lips, like he had the urge to lean forward and just go for it. But the elder immediately looked away, hiding the redness of his ears with a laugh. Jisung looked away too, feeling the heat creeping to his ears and cheeks, but he ignore it. He totally just imagine that. The concert went on smoothly, and they were acting just the same. Yet, Jisung can't seem to get rid of a pair of feline eyes and crimson red ears, boring into his mind like a coffee stain in his already stained white shirt.

After the concert, they were all back to the dorms, exhausted but fulfilled. Seeing their fans literally boosted their life span in a couple years. Jisung was out the couch, too exhausted to move just yet, too blissed out to even notice a moving figure coming close to him. He felt cold air in his skin, and cold hands touching his forehead. He flinched at the contact and moved his arm away that was previously covering his eyes, taking time to register his surroundings. Looking directly above him, was Minho with drenched hair, wearing his comfortable and cozy pajamas with a towel draped over his head.

"You should take a shower. The sweat is gonna make u feel itchy and gross" he said, his tone a little gruff, but soft nonetheless.

"Mhm, later," he mumbled, going back to closing eyes, but now his hands are draped over his stomach.

It was a few beats later, when he was almost drifting off to dream land, that he felt it. Cold but soft lips touching his own. It stayed there for a few moments as if the other is just basking on the feeling. He moved away, but not without a tiny lick on the bottom lip of the defenseless sleeper.

"God, you're so tempting since earlier." He heard the elder's voice in a whisper. Rough but soft, making the younger feel like his stomach is being infested with a swarm of butterflies.

Jisung then felt the same lips kiss his forehead, and finally felt the other stand up, and walk away. Jisung's eyes flung open, wide in shock. Whipping his head to where the other might have entered, only to see that he's the only one left in the living room. He tried to sat up, but his arms decided to adopt his legs' strength, buckling from his weight. He didn't know what just happened, he doesn't know why Minho did that, what it means, but that was far to intimate to be a joke for both of them. He thinks, as he traced the remaining heat on his lips and bask on the blooming feeling in his chest, that maybe something really weird is going on between him and Minho.

I just got to get this out my system. Prolly gonna write these kinds of stuff from time to time. Hoped u enjoyed!

K-Pop Spotlight: Stray Kids

Masks off everyone—Stray Kids’ newest mini-album ODDINARY is finally out and it’s time to embrace the maniac within. To celebrate the new release and their upcoming fourth anniversary, we caught up with the group to talk about their new album and single, MANIAC, and the challenges and fulfillment that come with accepting your most authentic self. As a little bonus, we also asked the members to design their own Tumblr blogs (just in case you needed some inspiration). Check out our full interview below!

Tell us about your new mini-album ODDINARY in three words or less, but there’s a catch—you can’t use the words odd or ordinary. 

Bang Chan: MANIACS ARE BACK!

Lee Know: Cool.

Changbin: Inner side, volcano, control.

Hyunjin: Super Power song.

HAN: Abnormal, freaky, potential are the three words that I think describe it best. We tried to describe the energy that explodes from our music in a different way this time, by slowly showing control over this energy. 

Felix: Maniac, unique, and dark.

Seungmin: Interesting, fascinating, capturing hearts.

I.N: Mania, abnormal, conceptual. 

Stray Kids’ music and concepts often encourage young people to be their most authentic selves regardless of other people’s opinions. How does ODDINARY fit into that narrative, and what do you hope your fans take away from it? 

Bang Chan: This might not apply to everyone, but I feel like many people have experienced moments where they’re told to act normal (yep, I’ve been through that). We wanted to emphasize that “standards” don’t matter and that you have the authority to let out the “oddness” that’s been sealed inside you all this time.

Changbin: ODDINARY is a compound word that combines “ordinary” and “odd,” meaning that everyone has a normal and slightly weird side. Listeners will be able to experience the everlasting honesty and truthfulness that Stray Kids’ music has always displayed, with the more crazy side that Stray Kids have. 

HAN: I hope that STAY and all listeners will be able to follow their hearts, rather than being confined by the judgment of others. I hope everyone also looks forward to the upgraded version of us. 

Seungmin: Whatever situation may come, I hope that everyone is able to live in their most honest, unique way with versatility while never forgetting who they truly are. I hope our music can become a small strength. 

Lightning round! You’re customizing your own Tumblr blog. Pick an aesthetic and a personal tag!

Bang Chan: Ooft... it’s hard to pick just one because my preferred aesthetics change depending on my mood. But if I had to pick one, it would be cyberpunk. The lights got me, and I’m a fanatic for futuristic stuff.

Lee Know: I want to decorate it using a clean, white tone.

Changbin: I want to use the tags #straykids, #stay, #stage, #music, which all mean a lot to Stray Kids.

Hyunjin: Vintage Tumblr, with #lovestay

HAN: I would like to decorate it like #black #chic to show a lot of calm yet cool atmosphere! I want to use the tags #black #chic #skz #loveyou #STAY.

Felix: #행복이 #felix 🐈‍⬛💛

Seungmin: #Seungtage. I really like vintage furniture and aesthetics, so I would like to decorate it using an organized brown tone.

I.N: I’m into vintage aesthetics these days, so I think I’ll go with vintage.

What was it like to meet your fans face-to-face at your SKZ’S CHOCOLATE FACTORY fanmeet after all this time? What was your favorite part? 

Lee Know: I remember watching STAY clapping for us.

Hyunjin: I was so happy I could dance when I saw STAY from onstage for the first time in such a long time. Everyone was holding paper clappers. It was so cute.

Felix: Since it has been two years since we’ve had a fan meeting, seeing our STAY upfront was a very memorable and enjoyable day. We hope to see our fans again soon.

I.N: All fan meeting stages were fun, but the role-playing games we played with STAY were really fun!

What’s the meaning behind the album version titles “FRANKENSTEIN,” “MASK OFF,” and “SCANNING,” and why was it important for you to highlight them in this release? 

Bang Chan: Based on the concept of the title song and the album, we thought it would be cool to use those keywords to make various versions. Based on the keywords, we can show different vibes of this album without breaking the overall vibe of the whole concept.

Changbin: We expressed the inner side that everyone has, the one that we are busy hiding. 

Felix: These keywords express our emotions and lyrics about our odd sides in a world framed as ordinary. We express that it’s okay to have our own sides. We don’t have to hide when we take our masks off. 

How would you say your relationships with each other have evolved over the years, especially after switching dorms and housemates? 

Lee Know: I don’t feel as though a lot has changed, but I like that we have separate rooms now.

Hyunjin: I also don’t think a lot has changed because I go to the other dorms often.

HAN: After going through all the ups and downs during the past few years, we really have become inseparable. As we now have separate rooms, we’re able to have some personal time, allowing us to think more and be more relaxed by ourselves. I don’t think shared dorms affected our relationship too much because we still hit each other up whenever we’re bored and eat together.

As you approach your fourth anniversary as a group, are there moments you look back on as major instances of growth?

Seungmin: I think I was able to continuously break my personal challenges through the program Kingdom: Legendary War. While at the time I felt a lot of pressure, looking back on it, it was a precious experience that allowed me to grow.

I.N: I think we have become much more relaxed on stage, and everyone’s unique colors stand out more.
