PUNISHMENT - HYUNJU
pairing: professor!hyunju x ftm!reader
synopsis: Math isn't the only thing that's hard.
content warnings: 18+, teacher x student, blowjob, pre-transition hyunju, face fucking, slight choking, facial
word count: 1.4k
The lecture hall was eerily quiet as the last of your classmates filed out, their chatter fading into the hallway. You stayed behind, clutching your bag strap tightly, watching as Professor Hyunju erased the board with calm, methodical strokes. The squeak of the chalk against the surface was still fresh in your ears, the sound mixing with the rapid beat of your heart.
You’d known this conversation was coming. Her sharp eyes had been following you all semester, and not just in the way that professors check in on their struggling students. There was something in her gaze—something that made your stomach flip, even as you avoided eye contact. You couldn’t decide if it was intimidation, curiosity, or something darker that kept your nerves on edge every time she called your name in class.
“Wait here,” she had said earlier, her tone even but leaving no room for argument. It wasn’t a request.
Now, you stood awkwardly by the door, your feet refusing to move any closer. She hadn’t said much else, letting the silence grow heavy as she finished erasing the board and organized her papers into a neat stack. The tension was suffocating, the space between you filled with all the words you were too afraid to say.
Finally, she turned to face you, leaning casually against her desk, arms crossed over her chest. Her sharp, fitted blazer and pencil skirt made her look more like a corporate CEO than a college professor. Her presence was commanding, the kind that drew your eyes even when you didn’t want to look.
“Close the door,” she said simply, her voice cutting through the air like a blade.
You hesitated for a moment, then obeyed, the click of the door shutting making you flinch. When you turned back to her, her gaze was fixed on you—steady, unwavering, and entirely unreadable.
“You know why you’re here,” she said, her tone calm but tinged with disappointment.
You swallowed hard, nodding. “I’m failing.”
“Failing doesn’t begin to cover it,” she replied, raising an eyebrow. “You’re barely scraping by, and if this keeps up, you won’t pass my class—or this semester.”
Her words hit like a punch to the gut, even though you already knew the truth. You shifted your weight from one foot to the other, your cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
“I… I’m trying,” you muttered, your voice barely above a whisper.
“Are you?” she asked, her sharp tone cutting through your feeble excuse. “Because from where I’m standing, it doesn’t look like it.”
You flinched, your gaze dropping to the floor. It wasn’t like you hadn’t been trying, but between juggling other classes, working part-time, and dealing with the weight of everything else in your life, something had to give. Unfortunately, it had been this class—and she wasn’t letting you forget it.
Her heels clicked softly as she stepped closer, the sound echoing in the empty room. You froze as the scent of her faint perfume wafted toward you, a subtle mix of floral and spice that made your head spin.
“You’re capable of so much more,” she said, her voice softening slightly. “But you’re not putting in the effort. That’s not just disappointing—it’s unacceptable.”
The way she said it, her words laced with both criticism and something almost… personal, made your throat tighten. You hated how small you felt under her gaze, like you were back in high school, getting scolded by a teacher. But this wasn’t high school, and she wasn’t just any teacher.
Hyunju had a presence that couldn’t be ignored, a charisma that made her stand out even in a room full of people. It was more than her looks—though you’d be lying if you said her sharp features, immaculate style, and piercing eyes didn’t make your chest tighten every time you saw her. It was the way she carried herself, the quiet confidence that demanded respect and made you want to prove yourself to her, even if you weren’t sure why.
And now, standing here alone with her, that presence was overwhelming. It pressed against you, making the room feel smaller, making it impossible to think straight.
“Do you want to fix this?” she asked, her voice dropping just enough to send a shiver down your spine.
You nodded quickly, desperate to end the suffocating silence. “Yes. I do. I’ll do better, I promise.”
Her lips curved into a faint smile, but it wasn’t comforting. If anything, it made your heart race for all the wrong reasons. She stepped closer, her eyes never leaving yours, and you felt your knees weaken under the weight of her attention.
“Good,” she murmured. “Because I’d hate to think you were wasting my time.”
Her words lingered, heavy with something unspoken, as the air between you grew charged. You couldn’t look away from her, even as every instinct screamed at you to run. This wasn’t just a lecture anymore—it was something far more dangerous.
She stepped closer, her heels clicking softly against the tiled floor. The scent of her perfume—something subtle but intoxicating—filled the air, and you suddenly found it hard to breathe.
“You don’t take yourself seriously,” she continued, her voice dropping to a softer, almost teasing tone. “And that makes me wonder… should I take you seriously?”
Your eyes snapped up to meet hers, your heart racing at the implication in her words. There was something in her gaze now, something darker, something… playful.
“I-I’m trying,” you stammered, your words faltering under her piercing stare.
“Are you?” she asked, her lips curving into a faint smirk. “Because from where I’m standing, it looks like you’ve been waiting for someone to put you in your place.”
Her words hung in the air, charged and heavy, and you felt your knees weaken. She took another step forward, close enough now that you could feel the warmth radiating from her.
“Do you want me to put you in your place?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, her eyes boring into yours.
Your breath hitched, and before you could think, you nodded.
That was all she needed. Her hand shot out, gripping your chin firmly but not painfully, tilting your face up to hers. “Good,” she murmured, her breath ghosting over your lips. “Then pay attention.”
Her lips crashed against yours, and for a moment, the world stopped. Her kiss was fierce, commanding, leaving no room for hesitation or doubt. You melted against her, your bag slipping from your shoulder as your hands found her waist.
She didn’t pull away, deepening the kiss instead, her other hand threading through your hair and tugging just enough to make you gasp. The sound seemed to please her because she smirked against your lips before pulling back, her eyes blazing with satisfaction.
“You do want your grades to improve, yes?”, she daunted, her gaze never leaving yours.
“Yes professor,” you mumbled, eyes staring up into her own.
Wordlessly, she pulled up her skirt and slid down her panties to reveal her aching cock. You marveled at the sight before she gently pushed you onto your knees.
With a look of understanding, you took her length in your hands, slowly pumping it up and down before giving kitty licks to the angry red tip.
You slowly wrapped your lips around the head, before trying to take her whole. Your hand fondled over the parts that your mouth couldn’t reach, while your other hand went to the hem of your waistband, sliding through your boxers to reach your leaking cunt.
As you took her deeper in your throat, you rubbed circles over your clit frantically, trying to bring a release to you both.
When you finally managed to swallow her whole, she let out a breathy moan before grabbing you hair and moving your head back and forth herself.
“Breathe through your nose m’love, that’s it…”she cooed, gazing lovingly at your watering eyes.
Soon, she felt herself at the brink of a climax, so she released the grip on your hair, only for her to come undone all over your face, strings of pearly white essence sticking to you. Your ministrations over your clit had worked, making you arch your back as you came with a loud groan, staining your boxers.
The professor gently but firmly held your chin, forcing you to face her.
“Maybe now you’ll start listening,” she teased, her thumb brushing over your bottom lip. “You’ll do better, won’t you?”
You nodded breathlessly, the words catching in your throat.
“Good,” she said, stepping back but not before trailing her fingers along your jawline. “Because if you don’t, we’ll have to do this again. And next time, I won’t be so forgiving.”

«Heart On The Window» Cho Hyun-ju x Male!Reader Part 1?
Cho Hyun-ju x Male reader!
Summary: Y/N has always had a crush on her neighbor across the street, Hyun-ju. He has never had the courage to speak a word to her. Until one day they meet again in the most unexpected place.
«English is not my first language and I'm sorry if I get some words wrong» 😔🤍
The sound of the alarm clock early in the morning woke Y/N from a deep sleep. When he opened his eyes, he felt an empty feeling in his chest, like an inexplicable nostalgia.
He got out of bed, got dressed, and put the finishing touches on his uniform. However, the sky was overcast and the weather seemed as gloomy as his emotions.
Just as he was about to leave the house, something caught his attention: the neighbor across the street was leaving her apartment. It was Cho Hyun-ju.
Although they had barely ever spoken, Y/N always saw Hyun-ju from her door or sometimes they passed each other in the elevator, every day at the same time. His gaze would linger on her and his heart would race slightly.
But he never found the courage to approach her and talk to her... He didn't think he was someone handsome, someone who could catch someone's attention because of his beauty. He just wanted to catch someone's attention and that someone was only Hyun-ju.
That morning, Hyun-ju seemed to be taking longer than usual. Her gaze was lost, as if something was tormenting her. Y/N watched her from afar, growing increasingly worried. What could be tormenting this beautiful girl?.
He gathered his courage and approached her cautiously. “Oh, hello Hyun-ju…” He greeted her in a soft tone with a shy smile. Trying to feign confidence, him nervously grabbed the straps of his backpack as he stood beside her to wait for the elevator as well.
Hyun-ju turned around upon hearing his voice. She looked a little surprised to see the Y/N greeting her. She smiled slightly, but it was clear that she was distracted from something else.
“Hello…” She replied in a soft tone, and returned her gaze to her phone in hand.
"What a busy day, huh?" Him asked timidly. But he mentally scolded himself for the somewhat silly question.
It was obvious that he was having a busy day but he didn't know what to ask anymore, the words wouldn't come out. And he let go of the straps of his backpack to play with his hands, it was a hint of nervousness that he usually had.
And he tried to start a conversation but he was probably being stupid.
How could he not be when the pretty woman was by his side and made his heart beat faster with just her presence.
Hyun-ju sighed deeply. Her seemed a little exhausted and distracted. “Yeah, too much…” She said, her gaze fixed on her phone.
She was short on time and the elevator was about to arrive, so she was aware that the reader was trying to be nice.
Seeing her, he tried to lighten the mood a bit and maybe make her feel comfortable.
“I understand… as my grandmother used to say, after the storm there’s a rainbow right around the corner.” He said jokingly and laughed softly as he looked at her.
Him was trying to take the awkwardness out of the conversation, but he was probably being a weird jerk. If she saw him, his grandmother would surely scold him for how silly he was acting.
Hyun-ju laughed softly, her expression relaxing a little at Y/N joke. "I hope so," she replied with a small sigh.
The elevator arrived, and the doors opened in front of them.
The two of them entered the elevator in silence. It was the opportune moment to continue talking, or to stay quiet and keep their distance.
After a silence, I turned around to look at her and admire her at the same time.
That was the effect Cho Hyun-ju had on him.
"You know... ehh... I know we don't know each other very well but if you need help with something... you can knock on my door, you know... between neighbors we help each other." He joked the last bit and fell down a few seconds later.
*You're acting like a weirdo, react*
He told himself mentally and looked back in front of him. He had surely made Hyun-ju uncomfortable and maybe ruined it with a few words.
Hyun-ju seemed a little surprised by Reader's offer, but soon sounded grateful. "Thank you," she replied softly, as her gaze met his. And she gave him a gentle smile.
At that moment, Y/N could see that beautiful sparkle in his eyes. And she almost fell over if it weren't for the fact that he was gathering strength to maintain the composure of a love-struck fool.
It was the first time she had conversed with him seriously, and his presence had already lightened her mood a little.
The elevator was close to reaching the lobby and the door was about to open.
They both disconnected their conversation and headed to the lobby of the building. As they headed towards the door of the place, silence filled the space again.
Would he have the courage to say something else to her? The moment was still there, waiting for a word, a question, a gesture, an acknowledgement of the other's presence.
It was his chance to invite her to eat something or something she liked to do. He had to muster up the courage and do it. It was just a few words and that was all.
Could he do it or not?.
Because everything seemed to be so difficult for him.
Without further ado, his steps stopped at the door of the small hall and he looked at Hyun-ju.
Before he could say anything else, her words simply played a trick on him.
"Goodbye Hyun-ju..." He reluctantly said goodbye to her.
Hyun-ju stopped at the sound of his farewell and turned to look at him.
His gaze finally connected with Y/N's, and a sort of sense of recognition flashed across his expression.
"Bye, Y/N. See you later." She said as he gave her a small smile.
Though there weren't many words, that brief exchange of goodbyes seemed to have dissipated some of the tension of the moment.
The connection felt brief, but meaningful...
As Y/N walked away, the feeling of sadness and self-loathing settled in his chest.
He knew he was a fool for not being able to communicate with Hyun-ju properly, for not having the courage to get closer to her.
What would have happened if he took more of a risk?.
Doubt flooded his mind, and the weight of the lost opportunity became more visible with each step he took away from the building.
But only time would tell, he just had to gather more courage and try to start more conversations so she could get to know him better and feel comfortable talking to each other.
I had to keep trying.

CHAPTER 001 ∘ ∘ ∘ for fuck's sake
previous masterlist next
fucking stupid.
as soon as you open your eyes and take in your surroundings, the realization hits you like a ton of bricks: you've been utterly, irredeemably stupid.
the place you're in is unfamiliar and unnerving. a dull ache pulses in your temples, but it's not nearly enough to distract you from the bitter storm of self-recrimination swirling in your head. did you really hand yourself over to potential kidnappers like some naive idiot from a bad thriller movie? as you mentally replay the events that led you here, you can't help but wince at your own idiocy.
stupid, stupid, stupid!
but honestly, could anyone really blame you? could anyone in your position have turned down such a tempting offer ━ a chance to earn an unimaginable amount of money just by playing a few games? you were desperate. hell, desperate doesn't even begin to cover it. you were drowning in debt, with creditors breathing down your neck and no lifeline in sight. the offer had felt like a miracle, a hand reaching out to pull you from the abyss. who wouldn't cling to that?
still, there's a difference between desperation and outright stupidity. and now, you're painfully aware which side you landed on.
the room you're in is massive, disorientingly so. its sheer scale makes you feel like a speck of dust trapped in an enormous void. the walls loom high above, featureless and sterile, painted in some dull, colorless hue that makes the space feel even colder. it's a dormitory of sorts, packed with bunk beds that stretch upward like towers. you count five levels, maybe more, stacked so precariously that you half-expect someone to fall off the top at any moment.
in the center of the room is a massive screen with the number 456. you have no idea what it means, but something about it makes your stomach churn uneasily. your gaze sweeps over the people gathered in the room ━ a sea of strangers dressed in identical green tracksuits.
it's only when you glance down at yourself that you realize you're wearing the same dull green outfit. your fingers brush over a patch sewn onto your chest: 127. your number. the sight of it triggers fragmented memories: leaving your house last night, wearing your usual black tracksuit, and...
your eyes narrow.
did those freaks actually change my clothes?
the thought sends a wave of revulsion crashing over you. it's not just the outfit; they must have taken your personal belongings too. your phone. your wallet. your everything. the implications of that alone make your skin crawl. these people stripped you down ━ literally ━ without your consent, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.
"fucking hell," you mutter under your breath, running a hand through your hair in frustration.
before you can sink further into spiraling thoughts, a sharp ringing noise jolts you back to reality. a bell. it's been going off for a while now, but you were too preoccupied to notice. the other people around you are stirring, climbing out of their bunks and shuffling toward the center of the room.
you hesitate, your eyes darting across the crowd, searching for even a single familiar face.
nothing.
everywhere you look, there are strangers. hundreds of them, all milling about in the same green tracksuits, each marked with a different number.
you sigh. reluctantly, you slide off your bunk and join the crowd. attracting unnecessary attention doesn't seem like a good idea, and staying put isn't much better.
the moment your feet hit the cold floor, the room's massive doors creak open, and a group of people in red jumpsuits enters. their faces are completely obscured by masks. you instinctively step back, leaning against one of the bunk bed frames as you try to put some distance between yourself and the crowd.
the man at the front of the group speaks first. his voice is low and slightly muffled by the square-shaped mask he wears.
"i would like to extend a hearty welcome to all of you."
you tilt your head, studying the group dressed in red with narrowed eyes. the leader's mask is square, while the others in the back wear circles.
is there some sort of hierarchy here? and why the masks? are they hiding their identities? does that mean you've stumbled into some kind of fucking illegal place?
"everyone here will participate in six different games over six days," the square-masked man continues. "those who win all six games will receive a handsome cash prize."
cash prize. the words send a shiver down your spine. your heart flutters with a strange mix of anticipation and dread.
the room falls into a deathly silence for a brief moment, as everyone exchanges glances with each other.
"excuse me," someone finally spoke up.
your gaze shifted toward the voice. it belonged to a woman ━ number 120, according to the patch on her chest. she stepped forward with a confident air, but your sharp eyes caught the subtle tremble in her hands.
"you said we'd be playing games," she said, her voice steady but edged with steel. "but you practically kidnapped us. how can we trust you?"
it was a valid question, and one you had been wondering yourself. you didn't even know where you were, let alone who brought you here.
"i apologize," the masked replied. "please understand that it was necessary to maintain the game's security."
before you could even process that flimsy excuse, the room erupted into chaos. voices rose in a cacophony of anger and confusion as the crowd began hurling questions and accusations at the masked figures.
"what's with the masks, then? is your face a secret too?"
"yeah! why are you hiding your identity? are we in some kind of illegal gambling house?"
"even dealers don't cover their faces like this!"
you didn't bother adding to the noise. you doubted you'd get any real answers, and besides, you were too busy sorting through your own thoughts. still, you listened carefully, hoping someone else's questions might align with your own.
eventually, the masked man managed to regain control of the room.
"to ensure fair gameplay and confidentiality, it is our policy not to reveal the faces and identities of staff," he said. "please understand."
you rolled your eyes. the vagueness of that explanation was almost insulting.
"did you take my clothes and put these on me?" another girl piped up.
"what's with these shoes?" a guy said. "my shoes are limited fucking edition. they're hard to find! you going to replace them if they get ruined?"
you weren't sure whether to be amused or deeply concerned.
"these don't fit, and the color sucks," the girl grumbled. "can i just have what you're wearing instead? i like pink."
this time, you were genuinely amused by the absurdity of her complaints, and the person next to you shot you a weird look when you stifled a laugh.
"i'm sorry, but that is not possible. you must be in your uniforms for the games," replied the square guy, his tone flat and unyielding.
as the conversation moved on without you, you allowed your thoughts to wander, sinking deeper into the chaos in your head.
if you really thought about it, maybe this whole game thing wasn't some elaborate scam after all. maybe it was real. the rules, the setup, the masked figures ━ it all seemed ludicrous, but wasn't that the point of reality shows? the absurdity, the spectacle?
could it be something like the ddakji game you played with that strange man on the subway? granted, that had been straightforward ━ nothing more than flipping tiles and enduring a slap. this, however, seemed infinitely more intricate.
but still, it couldn't be anything that bad, right? it's not like someone was going to die or anything.
you pressed your lips together as doubt gnawed at the edges of your thoughts. then again, if something sounded too good to be true, it probably was.
not that it mattered to you. you needed the money. no, needed didn't even cover it. you were drowning, suffocating under a mountain of debt. you'd run out of options long ago, and these games ━ whatever they were ━ had shown up like a beacon in the night.
six games. just six. that's what the masked man had said. how hard could it be?
you snapped back to reality as the masked man's voice echoed through the room, pulling you from the haze of your thoughts. at first, you thought you'd misheard the announcement, that your mind was playing tricks on you, twisting words in a desperate attempt to distract you from the absurdity of your surroundings.
"player 333, lee myeong-gi."
you froze. no. it couldn't be. there had to be hundreds of people in south korea with that name. thousands, maybe. yeah, it was a coincidence. just a cruel coincidence. it had to be.
but the faint hope you clung to crumbled as quickly as it had formed. the square-masked guy gestured toward the massive screen at the center of the room. the lights dimmed slightly, and your breath hitched when the screen lit up with a video.
the grainy footage played in full view of everyone.
your ex-boyfriend ━ the one you'd broken up with just a few months ago, cut all ties with, and tried to erase completely from your life ━ was on the screen, getting slapped across the face with an almost comical force. the sound of the slap echoed louder than it should have, reverberating in your ears like a twisted mockery.
for a split second, you thought you might laugh at the absurdity of it all, but the laughter caught in your throat, choking you.
of all people in the world, it had to be him? and of all places, it had to be here?
you clenched your jaw, a silent scream ricocheting through your mind. you had no idea how to process what you were feeling. anger? disbelief? a nauseating mix of both?
the universe wasn't just mocking you ━ it was toying with you. what were the odds? your hands curled into fists at your sides as you glared at the screen, trying to will it away.
more videos flashed onto the screen, showing other participants getting slapped, but you barely registered them. you prayed, prayed, that your own face wouldn't appear next. it wasn't just about avoiding humiliation, though that was a large part of it. the real terror clawing at your chest was the thought of myeong-gi spotting you here, in this hellhole of a situation.
to your immense relief, your face never appeared on the screen. maybe the universe didn't hate you entirely.
"all of you in this room have crippling debts and are now on a cliff-edge. when we first came to you, you did not trust us either," the masked man continued. "but as you know, we played a game and gave you money as promised. and so you trusted us and volunteered to participate according to your own free will."
you exhaled sharply, your patience wearing thin.
"tou have one last chance to decide. do you want to live like a piece of trash, running from creditors? or will you seize the last opportunity we are offering?"
the logic was irrefutable. what else could you do? this was your last shot at digging yourself out of the bottomless pit of your life. the alternative was to crawl back into the misery you'd come from. that wasn't living ━ it was surviving. and you were tired of surviving.
the lights dimmed again, and the room filled with whispers of confusion as a mechanical hum descended from above. you glanced up and blinked in disbelief as a massive piggy bank was lowered from the ceiling. suspended in midair, its glossy surface gleamed under the fluorescent lights.
"what the hell?" you muttered to yourself.
a piggy bank?
"what you see now is the piggy bank where your valuable prize money will be stored," the masked man explained. "after each of the six games you will play, the prize money will accumulate in this piggy bank."
you stared at the giant pig, your thoughts racing.
how much money are we even talking about here?
someone beat you to the question. "how much is the prize money?"
you straightened slightly, trying to appear indifferent as you shoved your hands into your pockets. but your ears were tuned to every word, your heart pounding in anticipation.
"the prize money for the games is 45.6 billion won in total."
your breath caught, and your lips parted as the number settled in your brain. 45.6 billion won?
"holy shit..." you murmured under your breath.
your mind reeled, struggling to process the sheer enormity of it. that wasn't just life changing ━ it was life shattering. it was enough to erase every ounce of debt you had and still live comfortably for the rest of your days.
"and one of us will get it?" the guy from earlier pressed.
"we will give you the details about the distribution of the prize money after the first game. for these games, you will be given a special new advantage."
"what is it?" an elderly man asked.
"after each game, you will be given a chance to vote on whether to continue the games or not. if the majority votes to stop the games, you can leave with the prize money accumulated up to that point."
you rolled your eyes. quit now, when there's that much money at stake? who in their right mind would even consider that?
"are you saying," someone speaks up again, "we'll still receive the money, even if we leave after the first game?"
the square-masked man is silent for a moment before finally responding. "that is correct."
what happens next, you have no fucking idea.
the number burns into your brain, larger than life and impossible to fully comprehend. if you win the six, that staggering amount of money would be yours. 45.6 billion.
it was life-altering on a scale you couldn't wrap your head around. your hands instinctively tighten in your pockets as you fight the urge to fidget. it's insane. completely absurd. yet here it is, dangling in front of you like a glimmering prize at the end of a dark and twisted tunnel.
your thoughts drift to the game that had brought you here ━ the bizarre ddakji match with the man in the suit on the subway. that had been pretty easy, almost laughably so. a simple flip of a folded paper tile. you were only slapped twice. could the games here really be just as simple? just six games, and all your suffering, all your debts, all your problems would evaporate like smoke.
it's too good to be true. you know that. deep down, in the rational part of your mind, you know this entire setup is shady as hell. the masked organizers, the strange location, the sheer amount of money ━ it all screams danger. but what choice do you have? your desperation outweighs your doubt.
if things get too complicated... maybe you'll think about quitting. maybe.
a sudden shuffle of movement breaks your reverie, and you blink, snapping back to the present. you realize, with a jolt of mild panic, that all the participants have lined up in seven orderly rows. your stomach churns as you glance around, trying to piece together what you missed.
damn it, when had they given instructions?
swallowing your unease, you decide to play along. you quickly step into the second row, adopting an air of indifference to mask your confusion. hopefully, no one notices you're completely clueless.
when your turn finally comes, you step forward. the masked person standing before you is silent, their posture unnervingly still. they hand you a piece of paper without a word. your gaze drops to the document, your eyes scanning the text.
▍ PLAYER CONSENT FORM : O1. a player's not allowed to voluntarily quit the games. O2. a player who refuses to play will be eliminated. O3. the games may be terminated upon a majority vote. in case of a tie, players will vote again. O4. if the games are terminated, players will divide the prize equally.
the rules are simple, concise, and far too ominous for your liking. the word 'eliminated' stands out like a glaring red flag, but you force yourself not to dwell on it.
you exhale slowly, your breath barely audible, before picking up the pen lying next to the form. your hand hovers for a brief moment, but it's not hesitation. you've made up your mind already. without overthinking it, you scrawl your signature at the bottom of the page, sealing your fate.
whatever you're signing up for, it can't be worse than the life you're already living.
you'd planned to head back to your bed after this. all the endless talking had worn you out. all you want now is to collapse onto your bed and let the weight of the day fade into nothing.
but, of course, life never goes according to plan.
a scream echoes through the room, and you turn your head to find the source ━ standing in the center of the commotion, flushed with equal parts embarrassment and irritation, is none other than your ex-boyfriend.
you only stare. you’ve got to be kidding me.
the man is mid-argument with another participant. from what you can gather, myeong-gi seems to be getting scolded, though the exact reason escapes you. you sigh, dragging a hand down your face as frustration bubbles to the surface.
of course. of course, it's him.
"for fuck's sake," you mutter, shaking your head as you turn away from the scene.
you're too tired to deal with this right now.

note ∘ ∘ ∘ for obvious reasons, in this book, myeong-gi is not the one who got my girl junhee pregnant. i just don't have the energy to craft an elaborate storyline around those circumstances.

Together - CHO HYUN-JU x Fem Reader
Summary: Reader is scammed and abandoned by her boyfriend, leaving her alone in South Korea to her fate, so in desperate search of a solution to return to her home country she decides to join the squid games to get money, within the game she meets a couple of people who become her friends and could possibly be something more.
Warning: In this episode none!
In futures episodes: Violence, Strong language, female main character is considered heterosexual but she have feelings for a female (Cho Hyun-ju) and it is reciprocated, abuse for male characters.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
You were stupid, very stupid and naive, that was what you repeated to yourself every day since your ex-boyfriend scammed you and abandoned you in a country where you didn't know anyone, you couldn't even understand the language well and now you were locked up in a place full of strangers in a green uniform and with a headache you could barely bear.
Why were you doing such stupid things? You should have said no when that man approached you and offered you money, it was all for the damn money, otherwise how would you find another way to get home?
Barely a day had passed, you understood little of the first game where you saw one person after another die around you, what you had gotten yourself into, this wasn't a game, it was a massacre, as you sat cross-legged on the cold bed that had been assigned to you you could feel your hands shaking and you felt warm tears rolling down your cheeks.
Hey - a kind voice rumbled slowly but enough to wake you from your trance to look up and see a boy with long, slicked-back hair holding a small metal tray - I noticed you didn't come over for your food, I brought you some
His equally shaky hand moved a little closer to you, leaving the tray on the bed, staring at you, afraid you'd react
It's okay if you don't want to eat it, it's just that if we're going to keep playing you need strength for tomorrow - his kind but shy smile and his clear disinterest in leaving made you wipe your tears with the sleeves of your sweater, nodding taking a deep breath - Thanks - you told him, trying not to sound upset, because you really weren't and if you were it was only with yourself
My name is Dae-Ho, yours is… 144 - he looked at you curiously taking a bite of his food
Y/N… my name is Y/N - you sighed, hugging your legs uncomfortably and nervous
Hey, leave her alone - a loud and somewhat curious voice sounded behind Dae-Ho making the two look towards the sound - don't you see that you're making her uncomfortable? go away
I… I didn't want to make you uncomfortable, it's just that… - Dae-Ho looked at you embarrassed, walking away just a few steps
You don't have to give explanations, go away - the girl, a little taller than Dae-Ho, looked at him firmly, almost annoyed, following the man with her gaze as he walked away quickly and embarrassed, joining a group of men on the other shelf of beds
you can eat in peace - the girl looked at you kindly while you only responded with a slight nod and she walked away returning to her place two beds down on the shelf next to you
It was difficult for you not to go unnoticed and it was obvious that everyone wanted to get away from you, you weren't like them, you didn't share their nationality, their traditions, or their topics of conversation, you didn't even understand many of them what they were talking about, they all looked at you like a weirdo, like why a foreigner could come and want to steal their prize, it was unfair.
That's how you spent the first night, alone, trembling from the cold and fear, looking into the darkness while you cried silently and the gunshots echoed in your ears, it was a nightmare and that's how you were until sleep overcame you
The second day wasn't any better, you could barely carry yourself, you were tired, hungry and much more scared than yesterday, surrounded by hundreds of people in a courtyard with drawings of children and rainbows on the floor.
''Now, it's time to form teams of 5, you have 10 minutes'' the voice of the speaker sounded repeatedly before an alarm sounded and you saw how everyone ran looking for members for their team, but everyone seemed to avoid you like a plague.
They ran and pushed you but no one looked at you to join and if they looked at you it was to laugh and murmur
There she was again, standing in front of you with a sad look that barely met your eyes she looked at the floor and walked by your side.
Hey… - you murmured barely, only to her with fear and shame - if you still don't have a team… I can join you if you don't mind - she looked at you over her shoulder giving a sigh of relief nodding offering you her hand so she could walk by your side and not get lost in the crowd
Between your fingers you could notice the difference in size between your small and fragile hand and hers, it was big with a different strength and somewhat rough but still made you feel protected and confident
So you both walked almost in circles finding the fragile old woman and her son and then the little girl with bangs forming a team of 5
Again the games were confusing for you, you could identify some that resembled what you had once played in your country but fear consumed you making your hands tremble again
Calm down - her voice again fragile but somewhat thick made you look at her holding the air - everything will be fine, don't push yourself too much okay? Do you think you can take charge of throwing the rocks? It's just a matter of taking a rock, throwing it and making the second one fall, that's all you have to do - her voice was like a murmur trying not to interrupt the game of the first two teams that were participating
Should I just throw it? - you looked at her nervously, looking at her dark eyes behind her bangs
You just have to throw it, it's easy - she smiled at you giving you hope making you smile barely as you looked at the floor again nervously trying not to think about everything that was tormenting your head, in the background you could hear the screams and cheers that the other players made while the teams participated until a round of gunshots made you jump scared covering your ears and closing your eyes tightly - calm down, calm down nothing is happening - her arms surrounded you quickly, adjusting you against her chest, you could feel the strands of her hair on your face and a slight aroma of herbs coming from it - it's over, don't open your eyes until I tell you okay?
Your head barely nodded as you took a deep breath, the aroma of her hair made you remember the gardens where you walked when you first arrived in South Korea and her arms for some reason made you feel protected, nothing could happen to you
A couple of minutes (that seemed like an eternity) passed slowly, people were talking, some were crying and in the background you could hear the sound of the sirens of the forklifts that had come to pick up the bodies, one second after another it was a damn nightmare.
''Next team, you can take your position'' the voice from the speaker again
It's our turn - the old woman sighed getting up while you opened your eyes and stood up slowly with fear
The guards tied your ankles and after a shot the game for you began.
You walked counting the steps, being constant and fast in your tasks, first Ddjaki, the little girl with the bangs did well, then the flying rock, your trembling hands held it strong and letting out a deep sigh you threw it against the rock in the distance failing in the attempt
Girl concentrate, what's wrong with you! - the old woman shouted making your friend look at her annoyed and after her firm indication and walking as a team to pick it up the 5 of them returned to their position - don't fail, please girl!
We trust you… calm down, take a breath and throw it, you'll do well - Your new best friend looked at you smiling lightly giving you courage.
A sigh again, a fixed look at the rock and after throwing it it fell with a blow.
Everyone screamed, applauded and so on again until reaching the final task ''Team 2, you have completed your tasks'' you had never been so happy to hear that spooky voice on the speaker and once the guards untied your ankles they all ran screaming and laughing to the fence that separated you from the rest of the players, you could finally return to the dormitory and finally had survived another day.
Everyone was happy, so much so that all of you were jumping and screaming with excitement, your friend, the tall girl ran to you without wasting a second surrounding you with her strong arms making you spin in the air while both of you laughed
We did it, I told you, we did it right - she laughed jumping with you still in her arms making you scream when you felt the air on your face and your legs hanging in the air
Now, stop it, you're going to make her dizzy - the old woman laughed patting her back as a sign that it was enough until you heard gunshots in the distance again making the team erase their smile and remember the horrible place where they were
Come on let's sit down - her hand slowly and carefully took yours walking towards the bed shelves climbing up and sitting on the steps - are you okay?
Yes… I'm pretty well, thanks for helping me - you smiled rubbing your hands on your legs nervously
By the way, my name is Cho Hyun-Ju… are you? - she looked at you curiously
Y/N… my name is Y/N - you smiled shyly at her
You have a very pretty name - she smiled back shyly with her cheeks slightly tinted - thanks for letting me join you in the game you were the only person who approached me
You don't have to thank me, I think we are both rejected for certain reasons and that makes us unique in the crowd right? it's better to be united and be stronger than alone - your cheeks felt hot, the sign that they were red like cherries
You're right..
Part 2 ✨
------------------------------------
Thanks for reading, this is the first episode I've written about Squid Game and it was short since I have little time to update but I didn't want to go to sleep without writing the beginning of the story, I have ideas but I'd like to hear yours and write them down, just to reinforce the theme of this story the reader and Cho Hyun-ju will possibly have a romance so if these themes aren't to you please don't read it, I know you'll find something that suits your tastes. 🫶🏻
Again, Thanks for reading, I'll be back soon!

Powder Blue Dress - Cho Hyun-Ju x Fem!Reader
Synopsis: For the first time, Cho Hyun-Ju is living the life she had always wanted. But when you move into her apartment block, will she allow herself to open up?
A/N: This is my first time writing for a transgender character, and I really hope I've done her justice. I adored her character is Squid Game
Warnings: mentions of transphobia, low self-esteem
Cho Hyun-Ju had always known she was different. She couldn’t precisely pinpoint when exactly, but she’d always had an inkling that wasn’t like her family or friends. She’d tried hard to make a life for herself, to pretend that she was happy in a body that felt completely alien to her. She tried to build relationships, shape her career and mould herself into something her family would be proud of. But the more time that passed, the more she realised that she was living a lie. This male body, it didn’t suit her, it wasn’t who she was on the inside. She was tired of looking in the mirror and not recognising the person that stared back, she was tired of people not understanding how uncomfortable she felt in her own skin.
The day she told her family she wanted to transition from male to female was a day she would never forget. There was so much anger, so much shouting. She was ejected from her parent’s house immediately and told in no uncertain terms to never darken their doorway again. She had thought her friends would be a little more understanding, but they too started to distance themselves. They called and texted less, stopped inviting her out with them. She didn’t expect much from her work and wasn’t surprised when they fired her after she told them about her dreams of transitioning into the woman she’d always known she was. she went from being surrounded by a network of family and friends to being utterly alone in the space of three weeks. Hyun-Ju packed up and moved to a small apartment on the other side of the city. She put her past out of her mind and chose to look forward instead. She grew her hair, started experimenting with makeup. She took a job in a warehouse, picking up extra shifts whenever she could to bolster up her savings into order to pay for top surgery and the hormonal medication she needed. It had been tough, and she’d taken out several loans she couldn’t afford, but the debt was worth to finally be able to look in the mirror and recognise the woman she saw smiling back.
Most days were still a challenge; people loved to stare. She understood why though, she was a 6ft female in a dress who still had a six o’clock shadow. Hyun-Ju ignored the stares and the jeers, but life was so lonely now. She found the courage to go and shop in a boutique she’d passed a few times, buying herself a few dresses and a pair of ballet flats. She was desperate to showcase her more feminine look, but where was she supposed to go when everyone was pretending she no longer existed?
She ran into you in the lobby of the apartment block one day, and her world was forever altered. “Cute dress!” you exclaimed, admiring the powder blue cotton with lace details. “It’s absolutely stunning!” Hyun-Ju felt herself blush, and her smile was so wide it made her jaw ache. No one had ever complimented her style, not before or since her transition. She wanted to ask you out for coffee, but something stopped her. Just because a person likes your clothing, it doesn’t mean they like you. But she kept running into you, and every time she did you made her blush and smile all over again. It was you who finally made the first move, inviting her out for cocktails. You were new to Seoul, and the pretty girl in the powder blue dress made your heart sing.
The two of you became inseparable, and Hyun-Ju found herself able to open up to someone for the first time in her life. You were a great listener, and you never once made her feel invalidated or wrong. You made her laugh, and the two of you spent hours together talking about everything and nothing. You were the greatest friend Hyun-Ju had ever known, and she slowly found herself wishing you could be more. But you were the beautiful girl with the sparkle in her eye and the confidence of Beyonce, and she was still scared that you’d turn her down, that she wouldn’t be enough for you.
“You have a beautiful smile,” you told her one evening, after you’d spent the night watching a comedy on Netflix and eating your bodyweight in chocolate. Hyun-Ju didn’t meet your eye as she thanked you, and you wished she could see herself the way you did. She was funny, and kind and so beautiful to you. You wanted to tell her all this, but you were terrified of pushing her away. She’d been so open and honest with you, and you didn’t want her to think you were taking advantage of her.
As she said goodnight to you, and headed back to her own apartment, Hyun-Ju studied her smile in the mirror. She wished she could see what you did, and she wished she could tell you how much you meant to her. But a lifetime of hiding your true feelings had left its mark on her. There was still so much fear and anxiety of opening up. Sure, she’d told you about her past and her transition journey but opening up to someone romantically was something she hadn’t done before. She wasn’t even sure how you felt, and she could have the situation completely wrong.
As she climbed into bed that night, she thought of you. She thought of your melodic laugh, your perfect sense of humour. She thought about the way your eyes crinkled when you smiled, the way your floral perfume wrapped her in the sweetest of hugs. She wondered how it would feel to kiss you, to have you run your hand through her hair. As she looked up at the stars shining over the city, she had no idea you were thinking of her as well.

Headcanons: their dirty secrets in relation to you (female version)🫦
Featuring: Cho Hyun Ju x Reader(f), Gang No Eul x Reader(f), Kang Sae Byeok x Reader(f), Se Mi x Reader(f), Ji Yeong x Reader(f)
Warning: NSFW
A/N: If you like it, I'll try to make a male version!
🫦🫦🫦
Cho Hyun Ju
• When you are not with her for a long time or when you have menstruation and you can't have sex, she can secretly masturbate from you to your photos. Hyun Ju is embarrassed to admit it to you, because she thinks it's wrong, besides, she believes that only teenagers do this, and she has long been an adult woman. But she doesn't even suspect that you also masturbate in her photo and also secretly from her.
• One more little secret. She secretly watches lesbian porn from you, so that when she finishes the full transition to a girl, she can do everything quickly and correctly in sex and not embarrass herself and you.
Gang No Eul
•The girl has long dreamed of playing a role-playing game with you, where she plays the role of a miss, and you are her maid. She even watched maid costumes on websites and watched videos where girls showed similar roles. But No Eul still can't decide to offer you, because he thinks you'll say it's disgusting.
But everything becomes obvious, isn't it?
Therefore, someday you will know for sure about her desires, especially if the woman herself will talk to you by accident.
But you won't refuse little game, will you?
Kang Sae Byeok
• Once a girl accidentally went into the bathroom when you were taking a shower, you didn't notice her, because the water stunned you. But she noticed you, even though you covered yourself with a curtain, it was still transparent enough for Sae Byeok to see your gorgeous curves and slow movements.
The girl was embarrassed that it excited her, so she came out with an embarrassed face. But the story didn't end there.
Now, when you went to take a shower, she was always spying on you, secretly, so that you wouldn't notice. She condemned herself for this, because she can be called a stalker, but Sae Byeok can't do anything about herself, she likes watching you.
Se Mi
• Once a friend of Se Mi told her that she had sex with her girlfriend in front of a mirror and it was delightful. She told everything in detail and Se Mi realized that she wanted to repeat it.
As soon as she passes by a huge mirror in your room, she imagines how she fucks you in front of him with her fingers, caresses your breasts and how you look at it with an embarrassed face.
But she's afraid that you'll find it wild and disagree, but someday she'll offer you, even if you refuse.
Ji Yeong
• Your girlfriend herself doesn't understand why she such a desire to fuck you in a crowded place. Most likely, she likes adrenaline.
Of course, she won't fuck you, in front of everyone, she wants to hide with you and be able to be caught having sex.
Yeong wants to have sex in the women's cubicle of the toilet, but he doesn't know how to tell you, so he imagines everything in his head.
Most likely, she will just act and will start pestering you and you will have nowhere to go.

Can we have some hyunju x male!reader comforting her please maybe a little cuddling and a kiss.....
- I'm here : ★
featuring: hyun-ju cho x reader
summary: As you finally come home after a long day of work, you find a not-so-great view of the state your girlfriend is in.
warnings: body dysmorphia
A/N: my writing motivation is back yipee :33 i am also experimenting new styles :))
★ . ★ . ★ . ★
‣ as you wearily reached the door to your small apartment, every step felt like a weight coming out of your tired shoulders. Your day at work had been long and exhausting, and now you want nothing more than to lay down on your cheap sofa and lay your head in the broad neck of your lovely girlfriend.
‣ your hands fumbled in your pockets to find your key, the cold metallic sensation on your fingers bringing an instant relief to your face. As you quickly inserted the key into the lock, the apartment's old door opened with a creaky sound, the sight of the small keychain Hyun-ju had gifted you warming your exhausted heart. As you stepped inside your home, the cozy atmosphere engulfed you rapidly as you let out a satisfied sigh. ― Hyun-ju, I'm home. ― you softly called.
‣ as you took off your shoes and hanged your jacket, you softly seated on the couch with a satisfied sight. After not hearing a verbal response, nor smelling the familiar scent of her food, you decided to check each room of your small habitation.
‣ ― hyun-ju? I'm home, dear. ― you repeated yourself. This time, more firmly. As you were about to continue your search, you stopped on your tracks as you heard soft sobs coming from the bathroom, the lights on and the door slightly open.
‣ as you approached the room and finally opened the door, you were met with the sight of no one other than your beloved girlfriend, who was currently crying her eyes out while sitting on the cold floor. She was hugging her knees while hiding her face, through you could clearly see her red, tear stained cheeks.
‣ you quickly crouched down to her level, startling the short-haired girl on the process. You put both arms around her body while trying to understand the situation.
‣ ― hyun-ju? What happened, my love-?! ― you asked while putting one of your hands on her chin, carefully tilting her head towards you, now finally having a clear view of the situation.
‣ you could see her surprised face now, her beautiful eyes irritared and her cheeks wet from tears. ― love? I- i didn't see you entering- i... ― as her stuttering voice reached your ears, you tried to deduce what happened judging by the atmosphere of the bathroom in general. The mirror had makeup stains, while her makeup kit was thrashed around the floor everywhere, alongside with small bottles of nail polish, hair products and... Was that a skirt on the trash bin?
‣ as if something clicked inside your head, the situation turned obvious as you mentally facepalmed. Nonetheless, you decided to not ask further questions as you helped her get up, she complied as you easily pulled her up, noticing her shaky legs as she continued her soft sobbing.
‣ you sat her down on the couch, the vision of her trembling body making your heart ache. Even so, you still found the strength to untangle yourself off of her and grab the warmest blanket you two have. As you came back almost running to the couch, she was already laying down, an ashamed expression on her face.
‣ you quickly wrapped her tall figure around in the blanket, she didn't seen to have any complaints. You softly kissed her forehead, laying down on top of her while you continued planting kisses all over her face.
‣ you didn't stop until you felt her body soften and her facial features relax. Watching her body go from stiff and shaky to a completely relaxed manner. You didn't stop until you were completely sure she was not feeling bad anymore, and that each of her tears had been properly wiped.
‣ as you felt her slow and calm breathing indicating the start of her peaceful slumber, you could finally rest your eyelids in peace, knowing that things were going well, at least for now.

I HOPE YOU FIND YOUR WAY HOME
pairings. cho hyun-ju x f!reader
cw. hurt to comfort/angst, eventual fluff, established relationship, pet names, canon violence, gender dysphoria, implications of transphobia, hyun-ju's backstory kind of (based off of the show and from my understanding), arguments, foul language, the use of 'y/n'.
author's note: ugh i'm back to studying now, i don't know that'll affect my postings or not but please be patient with the requests hehe, i have like a thousand drafts right now.. 🤫 also i don't write for male!reader, please read the rules before requesting.
cho hyun-ju was your entire life.
you've known her longer than you can remember. she was the one good thing in your life. she's held you when you cried, she's cooked meals for you when you were sick, she's wished you "happy birthday!" when everybody else forgot, she's helped you with homework, hell! she's been there for everything.
and you've been on her side for everything as well. you've calmed her down when she was stressed, you've held her hand— reassuring her everything is gonna be okay, you've helped her truly express herself, you've accompanied her when she was alone during lunch, you're practically glued to her.
you gained hyun-ju's trust a long time ago, far before she transitioned. she loved you and so did you.
you remembered the day she confessed her love to you. her hair was long compared to her male peers, you remembered the scent of her cologne, you noticed the hidden piercings on her ears, but you couldn't care less, cho hyun-ju liked you and you couldn't be more happier.
soon during your relationship, you realize how much hyun-ju winces at specific topics. how she avoids questions, and how quick she is to change the subject.
she's opened up multiple times about her struggles. how much her father nagged about her being "too feminine", times where she felt like a ghost in her body, and how she wanted to join the military to "prove her father wrong".
when she did, it finally clicked to you.
after what seemed to feel like an eternity, one night, she was discharged. she came to you immediately, though it seemed like there was some sort of hesitation lingering. she did meet up with you, though, she was different.
you brought her to your small apartment and she took a deep breath before speaking.
it stopped with you cupping her cheeks, wiping her tears, and giving her a kiss. her muscles loosen up a bit, she still had fright behind her eyes. you quickly erase that—
"my hyun-ju, stop crying, honey." she inhales, shakily. "i love you, no matter what. thank you for telling me this, i'm so beyond happy and proud of you. if you wanna talk about it more, we can talk tomorrow, okay? if you want. you need to get some rest, you seem tired."
then, she fell asleep, safe, in your arms.
you woke up, ears ringing, vision hazy, and hyun-ju was nowhere near you. the room was brightly lit. this was definitely not your apartment, it was far too big, and far too..
oh, this was the games.
see— previously, after a rather strange encounter, and after some rounds of ddakji, and after some bruised faces— you and hyun-ju agreed to play the game together. the money could be used for the both of you, to live a happier life. and it could help hyun-ju, gosh, it can help her so much. that's why you agreed to join. you wanted to help her.
the first game came along, the second one came the day after. the voting was also expressed after each game. you've voted 'O' the first time, but after some dreadful moments, sniffles, and pressured thinking, you chose 'X' after the second one.
you noticed your girlfriend still chose 'O'. you wondered why.
night came fast, the 'X' on your chest felt like it was radiating a glow, maybe your girlfriend wanted to continue to support you too, she was a determined person, you knew that. maybe her goals were set and done.
though, all the different reasons you came up with couldn't help you sleep any easier. and after some quick bickering with the guard, you were let in the restroom.
where hyun-ju was standing.
she noticed the red badge. she saw you vote. but she knew you, which meant she probably knew what you were about to say.
"you still want to continue?" your voice echoed, it came out sadder than you expected.
she nodded. "why?" you sounded like an injured child crawling to their loved ones after falling down hard, "and don't say you need the money. because you know i do too." but you knew better, is what you thought.
she stayed silent.
"hyun, why?" you blinked, attempting to block out the tears that were slowly glossing your vision. "i know you said it might be worth it, i know you said we would make it. but hyun, i don't know anymore!"
the tears fell down your cheeks, "i can't stand seeing another dead, fucking, body. i can't stand seeing this go on for any longer." you try to laugh, it comes out as a scoff.
"if i'm being truthful with you, i want to go home. no amount of money is worth this much of a sacrifice."
you quivered. she finally spoke up, "y/n. inhale. relax."
relax.
that's when you lost it.
"i can't relax! i can't relax knowing people fucking died for the cash we could win! that's not okay, i don't know about you, hyun. but i don't want any dirty money. i want to go home."
your tone became more and more angry, you were pissed for sure. and it definitely pissed her off too.
"and you don't think i want to go home either!" she raised her voice. this is the first time she did that, "y/n. i saw those dead bodies too, but i know how much that money can help. help me."
"oh, help you? hyun-ju. i have been helping you! for as long as i can remember! i've been helping you through everything. is that not enough?"
"i need the money. more than you'd ever know."
she left, bumping your shoulder in the process. it felt like a punch in the gut. you've pushed her too much, but did it really hurt that much to understand? you don't know.
the third game was now in action, you've been spinning for who knows how long. you can't even remember what round this was. you were tired, you wanted to get this over with. you already saw an ally die, she was young, she wanted to go home too, like you.
the speaker shouted a number you couldn't hear. at this point you barely cared, your eyes looked around for hyun-ju but your body stood still.
at the last moment a hand took yours. it was hyun-ju, you knew her touch too well.
you were basically thrown into a room. the door slammed shut, locking it.
your sight clears, she stood in front of you, eyes darting all over your features. she was making sure if you were okay. "stop crying, honey," you didn't even realize you were, she wiped it away.
"are you hurt?" her voice was back to the soft one you held by your heart, "you can't just stand there like that. i could've lost you, i can't do that."
you nod, a sort of 'sorry, i didn't mean to'.
"you're okay now. stay by me, yeah?" she caressed your face, "i can't lose you, i can't live without you, y/n, i'm sorry."
now you were wiping her tears.
"i'm so sorry, i didn't know why i raised my voice at you last night. i didn't mean what i said, i didn't mean it at all. i was angry. i couldn't sleep. i kept thinking about you. about us."
"it's alright, hyun."
she shook her head, "no. you were right. no amount of money is worth this much of a sacrifice. you're everything i want and you're everything i need. we'll get out of here, alive, as long as we're together, we'll get out." she presses a kiss on your forehead.
"i love you, y/n, more than anything."
"i love you too, my hyun-ju."

the sound of the buzzer reverberated through the cold concrete walls as the players shuffled into the dimly lit room. this was the game… a place where survival trumped morality and every step forward came at the cost of someone else’s failure.
as one of the tallest players, standing at an imposing 6’4”, you naturally stood out.
heads turned to look at you, not just because of your height, but because of the way you carried yourself…a mix of calm and determination. you had been here for hours now, and though no one knew your story, they could see you weren’t here by choice. nobody was here by choice.
basketball had been your life. you were good at it, maybe even great, until that fateful day when a career-ending injury left you broken…both physically and financially. the surgery saved your life but cost you everything else.
that’s how you found yourself here, fighting for a chance to erase the crushing debt that loomed over you like a shadow.
among the sea of players clad in identical green tracksuits, one figure caught your eye. player 120. she stood apart, not just in presence, but in how she seemed to shrink under the weight of everyone else’s judgment.
she was beautiful..her soft features framed by loose strands of her dark hair, her brown eyes betraying a sadness she seemed determined to hide. you noticed how she avoided eye contact with anyone, as if bracing for rejection before it even came.
you had spent time in the states before for basketball, long enough to meet people like player 120..people who were unapologetically themselves despite how the world treated them. it didn’t matter to you that she was different; in fact, it made her all the more interesting.
then came mingle.
the robotic voice called out the rules, monotone and devoid of any humanity:
two players.
the music stopped, and panic spread like wildfire. players scrambled to find someone, anyone, who might increase their odds of survival. the chaos was deafening, but your eyes were fixed on hyunju.
she stood still, staring at the ground, her hands fidgeting nervously. she expects that no one will approach her. that no one even looked her way.
without hesitation, you crossed the room, weaving through the frantic crowd. hyunju didn’t notice you at first, too lost in her own thoughts. it wasn’t until you stopped in front of her and said,
“come with me,” that she looked up, wide-eyed.
“what?” her voice was soft, hesitant.
“the rooms are filling up. come on.” you extended your hand, not giving her a chance to decline.
her gaze darted around the room as you both ran into one of the green doors.. disbelief written all over her face.
the two of you stepped into one of the last remaining rooms, the door sliding shut behind you with an ominous thud.
for a moment, there was silence. hyunju stood near the corner, her arms crossed as if trying to make herself smaller. you leaned against the wall, studying her.
“thank you,” she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper.
“you… you saved my life.”
“no need to thank me,” you replied.
“besides, it’s not like i was going to let you stand out there alone and get shot by those monsters in shape masks.”
she chuckled softly, though there was still an edge of uncertainty in her expression.
“most people wouldn’t have chosen me.”
“well, i’m not most people.” your tone was light, but your words carried weight.
hyunju glanced at you, her cheeks tinged with a faint blush. “you’ve been looking at me a lot,” she teased, a small smile playing on her lips.
you grinned, unbothered by her observation.
“of course i’m going to look when i see a beautiful lady.”
120’s blush deepened, and for the first time since you’d seen her, she looked genuinely flustered.
“you… you’re something else,” she murmured, her smile growing.
you didn’t know what the next game would bring or if either of you would survive, but in that room, with hyunju standing across from you, you knew that you wanted to protect her. not because you thought she was weak, but because you saw strength in her that she didn’t yet seem to recognize.

«Heart On The Window» Cho Hyun-ju x Male!Reader Part 2?
Cho Hyun-ju x Male reader!
Summary: Y/N has always had a crush on her neighbor across the street, Hyun-ju. He has never had the courage to speak a word to her. Until one day they meet again in the most unexpected place.
*Warnings: mentions blood, insults, blows, self-disdain, etc.*
«English is not my first language and I'm sorry if I get some words wrong» 😔🤍
Y/n was at home when she suddenly heard a loud knock on the door.
Curious, him went to open it and found herself face to face with three burly, intimidating-looking men.
Before he could react, they entered her house with large steps and one of them grabbed her arm tightly.
"Hey!" he said surprised and didn't know what was happening at that moment.Only that he received a strong blow to the stomach and fell to the ground hard.
The men came even closer to him and began to intimidate him with harsh words."Where is that bastard Kim? He must pay that rat's debt..."
The one who seemed to be the leader of the group came even closer and kicked the side of his face.
And at that moment Y/N felt her face burn with pain.
Y/N let out a moan of pain and business. "N-no..I don't know where he is. He left here a long time ago, I don't know where he is.."
Exclaimed in pain as he tried to compose himself.
The men sneered as they watched him.
"Oh well, but if he's not there someone else will have to foot the bill for him, right guys?." The eldest said with a smirk and the other men laughed with him as they nodded.
Y/N looked at them scared.
"I don't have money to pay that debt..."
He confessed scared but was interrupted by another blow that this time was towards his stomach. He let out a loud moan of pain, while he felt his body burning.
Y/n felt something hot and liquid dripping down her body at that moment.
Him coughed as she spat out some of that famous crimson liquid and tried to get up but received a kick and fell back to the ground.
The leader of the group crouched down in front of him and grabbed by the hair tightly.
"Listen to me carefully...if you don't pay in the agreed time you will suffer severe consequences."
Then, one of his companions kicked him again in the stomach, making him gasp in pain.
The leader let go and stepped back, giving a menacing look. "We don't have time for your excuses..."
Him pointed towards the door.
"You have two months, or we will come for you again, and believe me..."
He looked at the other men and looked cruel.
"Next time, I won't be so nice boy, okay?" The other men laughed cruelly.
The men walked away a few steps, taking a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and lighting one."So... understood?" He asked with an air of superiority.
The smoke from the cigarette rose through the air, impregnating the smell of tobacco in the room. He took a card from his jacket to throw it on the floor.
"When you have my money, call this number, so I'll come for it."
The older man determined and gave him one last look.
"And don't even think about escaping like your bastard father did. I'm going to find you if you escape." he exclaimed seriously and pointed at Y/N.
The leader took a long drag on his cigarette and remained silent for a few seconds, his eyes fixed on Y/n.
Then he turned around and headed towards the door with firm steps.
Before leaving, the leader turned his head back and spoke sharply, "Remember the deadline. Don't fail us."
The other men's followed him, slamming the door shut, leaving Y/n on the floor, in pain and trying to recover from the brutal beating he had received.
The silence and the smell of tobacco still filled the room uncomfortably, as he tried to come to terms with what had just happened.
He lay on the ground, the pain still present in his body, his mind filled with questions and worries about how him would face the future.
How was he going to get the money to pay off the debt in such a short time? And what would happen if he couldn't get the money together?.
Stood up and dragged himself into the bathroom. I turned on the faucet, let the water run and he began to wash himself, complaining about the pain in his face, then he raised his head and looked at himself in the mirror looking miserable.
As the cold water ran down his face, Y/n felt overwhelmed by the situation him was in.
The marks on her skin were beginning to take shape and the pain was still present. The reflection in the mirror showed a battered and troubled person...
He stayed silent for a few minutes, trying to recover for the moment and finished cleaning his face. Until the sound of a light knock on his door interrupted his thoughts.
Without further ado, he tried to clean himself as quickly as he could and gathered strength in his body to stay standing.
As he walked towards the door, he stopped for a second, whether it was those men again or someone new who because of his father, would have to pay yet another debt.
Thousands and thousands of thoughts came to his head at that moment.
Him stood still for a few seconds, trying to compose herself and recover from the emotional impact. The sound of the knocks rang out again, making Y/n's heart beat faster.
Y/N reached his trembling hand towards the doorknob and opened the door. His eyes widened in surprise at who it was.
"Hyun-ju?..." He said in a sigh the name of the woman was in love with.
Hyun-ju stood in the doorway, facing Y/n. His eyes widened as he saw the state she was in. His gaze filled with concern and surprise ran over her face, observing the marks of the beating that were still present.
"Y/n, my go... What happened to you?.." She asked tenderly, his voice full of concern.
She noticed the bumps and how his face reflected the pain he was feeling. Her took a step inside the apartment with the intention of approaching him.
"Hyun-ju..." He exclaimed and wanted to cover his face to prevent her from seeing him in that state.
Y/N felt embarrassed that she saw him like that, after all this time trying to get his attention and seeing him in this state made him feel bad.
"Let me see, let me see you." She said in a soft, concerned tone.
She took a few steps closer to him, not taking her eyes off his wounds. She wanted to try to understand how he ended up like this, but she also wanted to check that he was okay.
The concern reflected in her eyes was unmistakable as she tried to get closer to check him out.
When he felt Hyun-ju's hands on his face, he couldn't help but feel the softness of her skin. He felt like he was in a dream and didn't want to wake up.
Maybe the beating made him faint and he was having this nice dream.
But he held back and snapped out of his trance.
"This? It's nothing, I just fell while I was working." Y/N quickly apologized.
She knew it was a silly excuse but couldn't think of anything else to say. Hyun-ju faked a giggle but her body hurt but if she was in front of Hyun-ju, the pain didn't matter.
"We have to clean this up or it's going to get infected" she exclaimed worriedly. Without stopping to check on me, she pulled Y/N's hand to enter her apartment.
"Where's the first aid kit?."
"Hey Hyun-ju, I'm fine, you don't have to..." wanted to tell him.
"No, you have to, these bumps don't seem like a big deal at first but if you don't treat them well they get worse."
Hyun-ju cut her words off and Y/N fell silent.
"I have it in my bathroom, I'll go get it " he said but she refused and offered to go get it.
Y/N accepted and then Hyun-ju came back with a small box of first aid supplies. She forced him to sit down and began to treat his wounds carefully.
Y/N couldn't help but look at her, every action and how her hands moved carefully cleaning every wound. Just feeling her close to him and admiring her beautiful face was a great gift for he.
“You’re doing great. I appreciate it, Hyun-ju…” Y/N thanked him with a sweet smile.
Hyun-ju, hearing that, looked at him and couldn’t help but smile the same way. Y/N’s smile was contagious.
“You’re welcome, Y/N. As neighbors we help each other, right?” She repeated Y/N’s phrase with amusement. Him couldn’t help but let out a small giggle as he nodded.
“You’re right.”
The two stayed in a comfortable silence as Hyun-ju finished healing the wounds and Y/N looked at her again.
"Do you want to stay for dinner?." He asked out of nowhere.
Him didn't know how or where that courage had come from but he said it, at least it was a start to getting to know the beautiful Cho Hyun-ju.
Who had captivated his attention that day he moved into the building.
Hyun-ju stopped paying attention to the wounds just as Y/n asked that question, her gaze fixed on him. A small blush covered her cheeks at that unexpected invitation.
Her heart was beating strongly in her chest at the moment he asked her the question, a small feeling of nerves forming in her stomach as she listened to him.
She hesitated for a moment.
Stay for dinner? Was it just kindness or something more? She stayed silent for a few seconds, her gaze full of questions but finally she answered:
"I would love to." She said with a soft shyness as her eyes flashed, smiling slightly and lowering her gaze.
Hearing that, Y/N couldn't help but smile big and internally began to celebrate that she had accepted.
"Great, would you like to eat something specific? I don't mean to brag, but I'm a good cook." He joked and the shyness was fading away at that moment.
Hyun-ju laughed softly at his joke and felt a little more comfortable at that moment.
The tension seemed to dissipate with every word and gesture.
His eyes sparkled as he joked around with a proud smile. “I guess I’ll have to try it out to see if you’re as good as you say you are.”
She said with a playful tone, a slight mischief in his gaze as he responded with a smile. Hyun-ju was really intrigued to see how he would cook.
“Oh, believe me, you’ll love it,” he replied kindly as he laughed and couldn’t help but admire Hyun-ju.
His eyes sparkled brightly when he saw her again.
The tension in the air completely dissipated, replaced by a clear connection between them as they chatted and joked.
Hyun-ju's gaze remained fixed on Y/n, unable to help but admire her presence and gestures.
The moment was comfortable and the atmosphere felt electric, but the excitement of the encounter gave them an addictive feeling.
Hyun-ju couldn't help but look at Y/N and know that he was a good man. Although his insecurities were in his head.
She tried to ignore it. Because seeing Y/N treat her so gently made his heart skip. It felt unreal to see someone treat her the way Y/N did from the first moment, accepting her for who she really was.
Little by little he was getting into her skin without realizing it...
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Y/N opened her eyes in surprise when she saw someone familiar in that place.
She couldn't believe it.
“Hyun-ju?...” he said her name. She looked at him the same way.
They both couldn't believe they were in the same place.
“Y/N… what are you doing here?”.
She exclaimed worried and surprised to find him there.
They were going to have a long conversation.

Requests Open (1/4)
Request Rules + Fandoms I'm Taking Requests From
My requests are back open! I will take up to 4 requests at a time before shutting down until I catch up, in order to not overwhelm myself. Please read the rules before putting in a request.
I mostly write for female reader; however, I am looking to branch out. I will not write for male reader unfortunately; I am a woman so writing for male reader isn't comfortable for me and also I am a lesbian. I have a few male characters I write for but that is it. I would like to keep my other stuff Sapphic or Gender Neutral. Female and gender-neutral readers I can do! I hope you all understand! Gender neutral and female readers both AFAB and AMAB are allowed just specify please!
I am open to criticism as long as it's not mean. If I write a reader or character in a way that is incorrect or offensive, please inform me and I will fix it!
I still will write any type of fic. Fluff, smut, angst, drabbles, one-shots, headcanons. (Please state in your request what specifically you want or else I will write it out in way feels most comfortable for me based on the request)
I still struggle with randomized hyperfixation so I fall in and out of fandoms easily. Bear with me. I will try to get to them.
I do have the right to deny any request I am not comfortable with.
Lastly, I appreciate every one of you. Every like, reblog, respond and follow is greatly appreciated. I enjoy knowing others enjoy my stuff :)
I am going to make a list of fandoms and Characters I will take requests for(It will change as my fixations change)
