because of this post i have discovered how to export from Hexagreat (.rok) to modern 3d formats such as .obj for use in blender.

The current download of hexagreat available comes with a bunch of sample projects, such as the “animecore chiyu-12 sai gif” from netrunmon; featured here 

I was interested in this project specifically for the canon girls in the post above, however I found much more than that, such as chiyu 12-sai, nini-tan, chiyu from azumanga daioh, hatchune miku, and chii from chobits.

1. make a windows xp vm

2. download hexagreat from http://www.flat2d.com/hexagreat.html 

3. download 3dAce from http://www.flat2d.com/3DAce.html

save as... obj

export to blender and do whatever because these files are maybe 20 years old.
