Haru
Chishiya Shuntaro x F!Reader
Chishiya would never forget the day, Haru was born. How is cold, uncaring, and emotionless exterior melted away even more. She didn’t even cry she just looked around the room. Taking in her new surroundings, and her gaze stopped at Chishiya. He could’ve sworn he saw the tiniest and faintest smile form on her face.
She knew immediately who her father is, he held her in his arms. For the first time; and his wife [Y/n] could’ve sworn she saw him him tear up the moment he looked down at his daughter. She was so small, yet her heart already seemed so big. She cooed, looking up at her father curiously.
“Chisi, can I hold our baby please?” [Y/n] asked, and he looked up at his wife. Then back down at Haru, who squirmed in his hold. He placed the baby on his wife’s chest and she smiled, crying tears of joy looking down at the baby.
As she grew, Haru became a force to be reckoned with. She was high of energy, normal for children. She loved running around in the park, and playing at the public playgrounds.
Chishiya and [Y/n], decided to surprise Haru with their first house. Haru had a bigger room, painted a pastel yellow (her favorite color). With different colored butterflies scattered across the room.
She loved it so much, and the moment she saw the backyard and all the space she had to run around. She was ecstatic. Seeing their daughter this happy melted the married couples heart.
But that all changed, once they’d suddenly entered Borderlands.
[Y/n] covered Haru’s mouth with her hand, as a tiny scream escaped her mouth. Her tiny body shaking violently as the gunshots echoed throughout the apartment building.
Chishiya kept watching, as his family stayed hidden. He looked down noticing the tears rolling down, his daughters cheek and wished she wasn’t brought into this upside down version of their world.
She didn’t deserve it, she was too young to understand everything going on. And couldn’t even comprehend the severity of the games. No child, should be experiencing such gruesome and violent acts at their age.
[Y/n] looked up at Chishiya tears rolling down her cheeks, as she held her daughter in her arms. Trying her best too soothe the little girl. As she gripped onto her mothers clothes for dear life. Chishiya handed his wife his headphones, and she placed them over her daughter’s head. Giving her some sort of comfort.
She kissed her daughter on the forehead, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” She whispered, with each gunshot that echoed throughout the apartment complex. Haru turned towards her father, who kept his eyes on something on the floor below them. Her mother finger ran through her hair, that was similar to that of her fathers.
Suddenly, she noticed a stuffed grey haired cat plushy on the ground. She reached towards it and picked it up, [Y/n] looked at it curiously.
‘That wasn’t there before?’
But it immediately caught Haru’s eyes, and she quietly played with it. Keeping her entertained, as she blocked out the noises of the gunshots.

tight space ; chishiya
SUMMARY: chishiya is at his medical school graduation and can't take his girlfriend teasing him anymore.
warnings: chishiya x fem!reader, bathroom fuck, quickie, face slap, dirty talk, no condom, exhibitionism, pet names, established relationship
word count: 1,4k
this was a request on another platform, so i hope you like it.
english is not my first language, so i’m sorry for any mistakes.
enjoy!
"Oh my god, you won't stop", mumbled Chishiya, sitting down with you at one of the tables at the back of the hall, which was empty while his colleagues had fun on the dance floor.
"No", you chuckled, taking another sip of your champagne.
You were taking advantage of them being surrounded by people and you were running your hands over him, stroking him in inappropriate places, just to tease him. He got tired of it and pulled you to the back of the room, getting only smirks from you as he tried to lecture you.
"You're not going to stop, are you?", asked the blonde.
You grinned and shook your head, "No."
He looked to the right, at the end of the hall, to the right were the bathrooms, "I think I know what to do with you."
You smiled softly eating the strawberry that was inside your glass being pulled by the hand of the older one.
"Chishiya, we can't do this here", you said being pulled into the women's bathroom, he didn't even check if anyone was inside, he just walked into the beautiful bathroom and pushed you into one of the cubicles, pushing you against the door.
"Oh", he began, whispering, "now you have a purity crisis?"
"Chishiya, what if someone hears?", you asked, watching him pull down the straps of your black dress.
"So, you have to be quiet", whispered the oldest, smirking.
Chishiya kissed you, his hands already cupping your breasts, squeezing the soft skin as his tongue rubbed against yours. His fingers pinched your nipples, making you purr, kissing him, your hands stroking his blonde hair, your body arching into the touch, aching for him, your heart racing with the possibility of being caught, feeling so fucking ashamed of what they were doing, such arousing shame.
He let go of your breasts, lifted the skirt of your dress, still kissing you. His hand slid up your thighs receiving a small sigh while still devouring your mouth, his other hand continued to pinch your nipples, being delicate, his lips dominating yours, owning you the way he knew you loved it.
"Chishiya", you whispered as he attacked your neck.
His hurried fingers pushed your panties to the side, feeling them already soaking wet which made him chuckle, his teeth grazing your neck, "You like the idea of someone seeing us so much, don't you?"
"It's not like that…", you tried to defend yourself.
Chishiya chuckled, making you shiver, your hands clutching his hair with one hand and the other was on his shoulder, "You wanted me to fuck you in the middle of the dance floor, didn't you?", he whispered, "You were about to take my pants off, now you act like a saint", his fingers slid over your clit, massaging, eliciting a whine from you, which made him laugh and cover your mouth with his hand, finally looking back at you, "Shhh", silenced him.
You moaned softly trying to control yourself, getting harder and harder with the speed at which he masturbated you and the thought of people entering the bathroom. Chishiya smiled when he heard a girl entering the bathroom, who started to touch up her makeup in the mirror while complaining about her skin being too oily.
"Hush", he whispered, releasing your lips only to say that, and got back to kissing you desperately.
His long fingers fucked your pussy, making you squirm and let out a soft little moan that he swallowed back with the kiss. The sound of the music coming from the party, thankfully, muffled the sounds from you a bit, but you still shouldn't be making loud sounds.
"I need to fuck you", he whispered.
"Chishiya, someone will hear us", you commented worriedly, trying not to whimper.
"And?", asked the older one, smirking, "Mind you don't get horny", he took his fingers out of you, showing how wet they were, "Look how you already are", Shutaro sighed and took them into his mouth, sucking calmly.
Chishiya kissed you again, in complete desperation, sharing the taste of you. He hurriedly opened your pants, smiling when his hands were replaced by yours. You stopped kissing him briefly only to let saliva fall onto your hand and spread over his cock, getting a little and soft whine.
"You're moans are so cute", you commented.
He chuckled and threw his head back, "Shut up", he panted, his hands cupping your face and kissing you, his hips thrusting into your hand, "Fucking slut", he whispered, smacking you across the face before going back to kissing you.
Chishiya took his hands to your ass and began to squeeze the flesh while still being masturbated, you positioned his cock in your pussy and purred when he began to move his hips letting his cock rub between the delicate folds.
"I can't take it anymore, Chishiya", you whispered, "please, I need to be fucked."
"Of course, baby girl", he smiled, catching you by the thighs, pulling you to wrap your legs around his waist, "Just be quiet, okay, baby?"
"Yes, sir."
Chishiya didn't even wait long, he was desperate too. In one smooth, precise movement, he entered you, sinking in slowly as he held your ass, panties pushed to the side, dress bunched at your waist, pantyhose ripping against his belt, but no one there cared.
To keep the door from swaying with their movements, Chishiya pressed your body against the wall and started thrusting. You hugged his shoulders, your lips parting gently trying not to make too much noise as the blonde looked at you defiantly, wanting to hear you whimper and moan like you always did.
"Come on, girls", said a girl entering the bathroom.
Your little eyes widened when you heard the various pairs of shoes entering the bathroom behind the first girl. There must have been at least five girls, getting together to take pictures in the bathroom mirror.
"Chishiya", you whispered, squeezing his shoulders with your hands.
"What's wrong, princess?", he whispered in your ear, thrusting hard, the sounds of impact softened because he was still dressed, thrusting mercilessly, watching you try your best not to moan louder as your pussy was punished, "Don't you want to know you're being fucked in a bathroom?"
"Chishiya", you moaned a little louder than you wanted and that got the attention of the girls outside.
"I think there are people busy in here", said one of the girls making the others laugh, "Let's leave them alone."
The girl's cheeks flushed instantly causing him to chuckle, "It's no use pretending you don't love the idea of getting caught."
"Shut the fuck up, fucking jerk", you cursed, hugging his shoulders, burying your face in his neck, being fucked without mercy.
Chishiya sat on the toilet seat, his hands on your ass, squeezing it to help you with the movements, feeling your insides tightening. You tried to keep the movements of your legs, but it was getting harder and harder, even more so with the approaching orgasm.
Noticing that you were no longer able to support your own weight, he hugged your waist and held you in place as he fucked you harder, your inside squeezing him hard. In complete desperation, you kissed him to avoid making any noise while listening to girls talking and going in and out the bathroom.
You purred and moaned, finally cumming, your body going limp against his as he played with you, like his little private sex toy, seeking his own pleasure. You moaned softly as you felt his cum fill you.
"Fucking shit", he whispered, panting heavily, "you're so hot."
"Chishiya", you whispered as your dress straps were put back in place.
"Ready to go out?", he asked, tucking your panties into place.
"We have to wait", you whispered, sounding angry.
Chishiya got up putting you sitting on the toilet cover while fixing his own pants, "I'll wait for you by the door, whenever you want to leave, I'll be there", he opened the cubicle door and covered his eyes, "I'm sorry, girls", he said, closing the cubicle door behind him, walking towards the door looking only at the floor so he could locate the door, "I didn't see anything, don't worry, thanks for the opportunity to use your bathroom."
Finally he left, smirking, standing on the other side of the door, leaning against the wall. He smiled as the girls walked out of the bathroom, waiting for his girlfriend to appear, knowing you were mortified with embarrassment.
When you left, your face was flushed in a deep shade of red, your hair was messy, you gave him the middle finger because of the victorious little smile he was holding, "I hate you", you mumbled, pulling him onto the dance floor.
"I love you too", he said, chuckling.

Two Cat People In The Same Room. (IV)
Part IV—> (Part llI here)
Chishiya Shuntaro x Reader x Banda Sunato
Description: Apparently raiding the department stores was everyone’s first instinct after the king of spades scare at Shibuya Cross. Now you’re stuck with only a cat hoodie over your inconvenient swimwear from the beach, and two unconventional cat lovers in a game of betrayal.
Word count: 1630
Tags: Gender-neutral reader, general audiences, canon divergence, fluff, canon typical character behavior and description of violence, Chishiya and Banda side-eyeing each other, can be platonic or romantic.
^A tiny bit of angst this chapter, with comfort.^
——————————————————————
You think that Matsushita is avoiding you.
After the little ‘incident’ with Banda and Chishiya, it was fair enough…but that doesn't mean you didn’t feel ashamed every time you were in the same proximity.
And it also didn’t help that Banda liked to subtly give you attention by getting close whenever he had the chance, or by asking to help you with your suit symbol when Chishiya was very obviously within range and listening.
It was all generally harmless and you didn’t mind it as much as you act like you do- until players suddenly began to die, even after the intimidating bully had passed. It shocked you to an unexpected degree, only because it was different when you knew that the people you were surrounded by, the people you were supposed to trust, were responsible for those that never got to leave their cell.
It was terrifying that ‘trust’ was so fragile, yet the most important component of the game. You’ve never been so relieved to have Chishiya and Ippei..though sometimes forbidden thoughts manage to cross your mind. Horrible, you knew, but more than once you found yourself to be hesitant, and accepted Banda’s offer to share symbols.
Not as if you’ll fully trust Banda either, but it doesn’t hurt to get some reassurance, right?
More or less, it was all done away from Chishiya’s knowledge, since he and Banda don’t exactly get along.
You strangely didn’t want Chishiya to be disappointed in you.
You really didn’t want him to know..how Banda and you would ‘accidentally’ bump into each other in the halls, where you’ll take off your hood and he’ll part the back of your hair, saying either spade, diamond, heart, or club.
Luckily, each time it matched what Chishiya and Ippei had told you. An unexpected weight had been lifted from your chest, and you were able to rest assured.
Though one thing didn’t change.
Banda never stopped approaching you, and even when you didn’t need to ‘help’ each other anymore, the little exchanges continued. You supposed that it would be unfair to stop now that your own doubts were gone, who knows how Banda feels about Matsushita?
“Diamond.”
Banda turned around, smiling, and gave you a pat on the shoulder.
“Thanks for the help.”
He was always extra kind to you afterward, even sometimes bringing you snacks from the cafeteria. It seems to be the case this time too, because he pulled out a packet of cookies from his pants pocket.
“Thank yo-”
Then he pulled out another pack.
“Oh, more-”
And another.
And he continued taking out cookies pack after pack until your hands were full and he patted himself down to make sure he’s got every last one.
“Banda, how- why did you take so many?!”
Banda hummed, brushing off your question with a slight shrug.
“I want to make sure the kitty cat is eating well.”
If the definition of ‘eating well’ is consuming an unauthorized sum of cookies, then yes, you would be eating well before you died from a sugar overdose.
“Okay..thanks I guess, but I should get back now, don’t want my friends to be suspicious..”
You gave Banda a nod, walking past him down the hall. He didn’t object either, footsteps indicating the man was off to his own business.
The building was still a little unsettling despite you having gotten used to it, and it had way too many turns for your liking.
You also didn’t know what to do with all the cookies Banda had left you with, you certainly weren’t going to eat them all. At least there were different flavors, but still, they were all the same brand.
Did Banda like these?
As you walked, you tried to stuff the packages into your hoodie pockets, but it still looked unnatural, like you were secretly hoarding something.
Maybe if you can get back to your cell, then you can throw them in the sink. Better than getting questions.
Your walk sped up, eager to quickly arrive at your destination, but as you rounded a dark corner, something- or someone was in your way.
“Boo.”
“AHHHH!”
Unable to stop, your only option was to fall backward, landing right on your butt. As you did, all the cookies came slipping out of your hoodie, scattering around the floors.
Your eyes darted up to see Chishiya’s amused face, who was a little surprised at how extreme your reaction was.
“Wh-What were you doing there?!”
He takes a few steps closer, staring you down with no intention of lending a hand.
You instinctively scurried further away, still sitting on the cold floors.
“What was I doing there?”
Chishiya wore a neutral expression, the edge to his voice making you nervous.
You slowly nod, unsure where he was going with this.
“I think the real question is, what were you doing?”
At some point, your back hits the wall, and Chishiya’s form cornered you.
“I was just going to find you..”
Your voice came out less confident than you'd like, but all that was on your mind was whether or not Chishiya had seen you speaking with Banda.
Judging by his words, he totally has.
You don’t realize how you tried to curl into yourself more until Chishiya let out a small scoff, kneeling down to meet your eyes.
“You don’t trust me.”
He stated it like it was a fact, and you felt the need to refute the accusation. You didn’t want to lose Chishiya and Ippei’s trust, because you did trust them, and if they didn’t trust you, then…
“I-I do!”
Chishiya tilted his head as if he were confused, not saying anything.
“I’m sorry..”
His intense stare was making you nervous, and you did the only thing you knew how—apologize. Maybe if you gave in now, you’ll be able to salvage the situation, and Chishiya wouldn’t be too upset.
“I really do trust you and Ippei..with Banda, I was just..”
The white-haired man sighed, chuckling as he shook his head and stood up again.
“No, you were smart for that, don’t worry, I won’t tell Ippei.”
You felt yourself trembling at what he said, suddenly overwhelmed with a new sense of fear. It was almost like you betrayed Chishiya, and for some reason, you really, really didn’t like the feeling of losing him. He was honestly a nice companion to have, in a weird comforting sense having known of him before this stupid game.
A few seconds passed and you couldn’t feel Chishiya’s presence over you anymore, he was walking away.
You didn’t give him the chance to go far before you managed to desperately cling onto one of his legs in a bear hug, not letting go.
“No! Don’t go!”
Frozen, he looks down to see you holding on for dear life.
“I wasn’t lying..I do trust you..I’m sorry for doubting you before..”
You squeezed his leg tighter when he didn’t respond, muttering another apology before letting go and attempting to stand up on your own. Your legs were shaky, and for an unknown reason your head was warm, clouded with aching when you realized you were being ignored.
At least you thought you were, you didn’t hear anything other than your labored breathing, perhaps even sobs you tried to hold back in front of Chishiya.
You didn’t even know why you were so worked up, just the pure atmosphere of this place was weighing down on you, and the thought of losing the trust of a friend when you needed it the most..was too much.
You stumbled a bit trying to quietly leave, but felt something stabilizing both of your arms. Blinking through your tears, you could see Chishiya’s mouth moving, saying something you couldn’t make out.
As you didn’t know what he was saying, you remained still and allowed him to set you on the ground, leaning your back against the wall.
You just let it happen, sniffling, feeling too defeated to care whether or not he’ll leave anymore.
The man ended up crouching next to you, using one of his sleeves to wipe away the wetness on your face.
He was gently shushing you, trying to get you to stop crying.
“Take a deep breath, okay?”
You bite your lower lip, trying to listen to his instructions, when Chishiya moves his hand to the side of your ear, stroking through your hair.
He does this until your breathing stabilizes, and you were disappointed to find his warmth slipping away.
“Look..I’m sorry for scaring you, okay? I’m not angry, I believe you.”
Chishiya knew he wasn’t exactly the best at expressing his emotions, but he wasn’t expecting you to be that affected by his rather apathetic nature.
He tried his best to be comforting, but one look at your reddened eyes and anyone could tell you’ve been crying. He didn’t mean to purposely upset you or push you this far, and now, it was up to him to raise your spirits again.
“Okay..that's good..”
You awkwardly moved your arms, debating whether or not it was alright to hug him. You decided you were too relieved to care, and hugged him anyway.
Equally awkward, Chishiya slowly patted your back.
“Do you want to go to the cafeteria? You’ll be less lightheaded if you have something.”
“Maybe if you carry me there..” You quietly joke, hoping to lift the mood.
“Okay.”
“Huh? Wai-”
You feel one of Chishiya’s arms slipping under your knees, and his other arm hoisting up your lower waist. In one swoop, he lifted you into a princess carry and began walking towards the direction of probably, the cafeteria.
“CHISHIYA!”
Chishiya sighs again,
“I’m starting to notice you like to scream my name a lot.”

Can you do a fic where the reader doesn't eat properly like she thinks if she eats too much she will throw up and chishiya trying to help her eat since he is a doc?? thank you.
Summary: Chishiya helps you finish your snack.
Pairing: Chishiya x gn!reader
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: struggles of eating (but no mentions of an ed), his suggestion could be completely inaccurate, lmk if anything else!
Word count: 368
a/n: I say the same thing every author's note, but I really do hope this is okay! I kept it simple in hopes of following ur request better, ty for requesting!
You sat beside Chishiya on one of the cafeteria tables of the Jack of hearts game.
You were both eating two different types of cookies as you watched everyone around you. At least, Chishiya did. You kinda just sat there and thought about other things.
You grabbed a cookie from your bag and placed it in your mouth. As you began chewing, you couldn't control the gag that made your stomach hurt.
Chishiya turned to you at the sudden movement, "What was that?" He asked.
You shook your head, swallowing the cookie before you could gag again. "If I eat anything else I'll throw up, that's what." You sighed, placing the rest of the cookies on the table.
Chishiya looked at the leftover cookies, then back to you. "You're not full. You haven't eaten anything else." He stated matter-a-factly.
"It's normal for me, it doesn't matter. I'll just eat later." You shrugged turning your eyes back to the other players.
"Normal? You gagging while trying to enjoy a small snack is normal?" He quickly became oddly invested in your not-so normal habit.
"Yes?" You muttered, turning your eyes back to him.
"It's probably just your gag reflex. Do you have one?" He asked, his entire attention on you, which flustered you quite a bit.
"A gag reflex? Yeah?" You nodded.
"Try relaxing your throat." He suggested, taking out one of his own cookies to hand to you. "Here, focus on chewing instead of swallowing." He spoke with his hand in front of him, offering you the cookie.
You looked at the cookie, then back to him. "It's not that simple." You simply muttered, taking the cookie from his grasp as you brought it up to your mouth.
You stared into his gaze as you did exactly what he instructed, relaxing your throat and focusing on anything other than swallowing.
As soon as you swallowed with no issues, you blinked at him. "Thanks," You weakly smiled, grabbing onto your bag to finish your own snack.
"My cookies are better." Chishiya whispered before turning away from you. Only being able to see you smile at the corner of his eyes, watching you without being noticed.

Risk It All (30)- Choose Life pt.1
Genre: Chishiya x f!Reader| angst | eventual smut
Warning: mentions of injuries/blood/violence
A/N:lmao this is nearly the end of the first season yet I've been writing this story for YEARS???
Prev | MasterList | Next
Neither of you stopped, weaving in and out of burnings, over and under rubble as your feet carried you as far away as possible. Ignoring the chance you were dragging yourself into more danger, you let Chishiya guide you.
“In here!”
It was a small hardware store, the windows were already broken and the shelves raided, no doubt for weapons but luckily hidden behind the counter was a set of stairs. You tripped up them still holding each other's hand. As much as you desperately wanted to slump against the floor and let your lungs replenish the mass amounts of oxygen that you had depleted due to your impromptu sprint you knew that safety wasn’t guaranteed.
“Help me get this across the door.” You gesture to a solid filing cabinet. Mustering up the last of your shared strength you locked yourselves in. Bullets wouldn’t get through metal that thick.
The windows thankfully hadn’t been smashed but there was no heat.
This wasn’t like the home Chishiya had made.
“Did you get hit?” Chishiya asked through a pant. “How is your arm?”
“Fine.” You check to make sure. “What about you?”
He lifts his shirt before nodding. “It didn’t reopen, it’s okay.”
“What the fuck was that.” You drop your head against the wall. “How did he find us.”
Chishiya pulled off his backpack, handing you a bottle of water. “I think he knew people would be heading there to join the game.”
You stilled, the bottle clutched in your hand. “The game Kuina and An left to join?”
“Yeah probably.” He takes another swig of the water before recapping it and putting it back in his bag. “Why?”
“What if they got shot?”
He shakes his head. “Trust me Kuina is like a leech, she won’t die.”
“But what if-“
“Stop worrying about them.” He cuts you off. “They weren’t the ones that just nearly got shot to death, it’s okay to care about them but you have to prioritise yourself. Stop being irrational.”
“I’m not being irrational, I'm worrying about a friend.” You explain through gritted teeth.
He stares at you blankly. “Do you think Kuina would want you to worry in this way?”
You hate how he makes a good point.
Kuina would be angered at the thought you were worrying about her when your own life had been in danger. “No, she wouldn’t.”
“Then forget about her for a while. It’s okay to do that. It’s okay to care for yourself.” He assures you. “We need to figure out where we are.”
You peek out of the window, dropping back into your previous position when you see nothing. “I didn’t see any signs as we ran, it’s too dark.”
He agreed. “We will have to wait until the sun comes up but whatever is going on, I think this is coming to an end.”
“You think the games are nearly complete?”
He sounds sure. “I think that we have nearly won every card we need.”
“I hope so.” You wish. “I don’t think either of us will fare well against another game.”
“We should rest.” He manages to find a blanket and a cushion, laying them down on the floor. “You sleep first we can take it in turns, I’ll wake you up in a little so we can switch.”
“Are you sure?” You eye the makeshift bed. “You’ve just come out of a game one that was no doubt exhausting, mentally if not physically. I’m okay you want to sleep first.”
“No, it’s okay.” He declines the offer. “You get some sleep, I'm going to try and see if there is anything useful here, just let me know if I make too much noise.”
“Okay.” You agree, laying atop the blanket. “Goodnight.”
“Mhm.”
Despite his warning about making noise you don’t hear anything, it was hard to drift off at first. Your mind ran a world of its own as it had you picturing the masked gunman shooting down the door any second but eventually, the adrenaline you’d worked up burned out and you were left depleted and exhausted.
This time there were no dreams, just a void.
“Hey.” You felt yourself being sat up.
“What?” You grumbled, still disoriented from your nap. “What’s wrong?”
“It’s been a few hours.” Ah, it was time to switch.
You sit up, huffing as you brush the stray hairs out of your face. “Okay you sleep, I’ll take watch.”
“Okay.” He agrees, slipping onto the mat you’d just moved from. “I found a spare wrench, it’s against the wall.”
“Oh that’s good.” You yawn, leaning against the wall opposite Chishiya. “Sleep.”
“Goodnight.” He mumbles.
It didn’t take him long to fall asleep, it made sense though. He hadn’t exactly had time to rest after his game and it was unlikely he had managed to eat anything.
That was another pressing matter - food.
You quietly looked around, sifting through drawers and cupboards. Most of it was no good, perishable foods that were so rotten they looked as if they had been there for a millennia.
At this point they probably could have been.
It was hard not to wonder what was happening in the real world, if time passed different here then how long had you been gone? Years? Months? Days? It felt as though you’d been here for at least a year but it was probably something more like a few months.
The sun was already rising, it seemed as though some days night lasted forever, an unending darkness accompanied by a few hours of dull sunshine but some days it was the opposite, a hot sun with little reprieve found in the minimal hours of darkness that coats the city.
Today seemed like the latter.
You peered over the windowsill, the city as always was dead but you took that as a positive rather than a negative, you dropped back to the floor with a thud.
It was probably weird to watch Chishiya sleep but it wasn’t as though you had a variety of things to keep you entertained, you missed the small house and all of its perks. You forgot, even for a few days, what it was like to have absolutely nothing in a world where there was no permanency.
Your life in the real world - if it could be called that - had grown dull. There wasn’t much variety in the things you’d do, you were lonely and had grown accustomed to living alone but you missed how permanent things were. You had a home you could return to, you had a job, you had people you’d interact with, the sun rose and set at a normal time, you could go to stores and not worry about the shelves being empty.
Nothing here was permanent, not even the people, that’s what hurt you the most.
From the corner of your eye you saw an object stutter in the sky, you scrambled up, your heart racing in preparation to run.
Only to see something that, for once, provided you comfort.
“Chishiya wake up!” You slap his chest.
He jolts up, body rigid. “What?!”
“Look!” You point out the window at the mass ball of flames falling upon the city.
“Is that the blimp?” He squints. “It’s the king of spades. If I’ve worked it out correctly and I’m sure I have, that means after Kuina and Ans game finishes there’s just one game left.”
“What one?” You ask, a part of you relaxing at the blimp crashing into the ground.
“The queen of hearts.”
“We should go.” He stands, brushing his clothes off.
You quickly pack up, both taking a few sips of water and halving an oat bar before setting off.
The journey to the final blimp was thankfully a short one, the game stationed relatively close to the hardware store you'd hidden in the day prior. It made sense, you were practically in the heart of the city.
“Is that-“ You were shocked to see so many familiar faces. “Arisu? Usagi?” You called out.
They both turned to you at the same time, eyeing Chishiya cautiously before approaching you. “You’re alive?”
“Clearly.” Chishiya scoffs under his breath before turning to you. “I’ll be over here.”
You nod as he walks away. “How are you both?”
Arisu smiles although it’s strained. “As well as can be, are you going to play?”
“No.” You shook your head. “I have enough days on my visa.”
Usagi shrugs. “We played a few, I think we all just want this to be over.”
“You can say that again.” Arisu laughs. “Heart games are never good.”
“They aren’t.” You agree, the memories of your own horrifying experience with the card were always on your mind. “Have you seen anyone else?”
“Like who?”
“ An? Kuina?” You ask.
“Not for a while.” Usagi answers. “I saw them both after we split up at the train station they were doing okay.”
“We were staying together.” You explains. “Only for a few days but they both had to leave to join a game.”
“The Queen of Clubs?” Arisu questions.
You make a noise of affirmation. “How did you know?”
“I saw the blimp pass over, I also saw it crash.”
If the game was over and they weren’t here that could mean….
“Didn’t you say you were staying together?” Usagi seems to notice your train of thought and intervenes. “Did they know you were coming here?”
“No.” You purse your lips. “We were hiding out at a small house type hut but the king of spades turned up and quite literally blew it up.”
“I’m sure they are fine.” Usagi rubs your arm. “They probably went back there first.”
You truly hoped that was the case.
“Thanks.” You smile at her. “Is there anyone else here?”
The atmosphere around you turned into something solemn.“Tata…he passed away during a game.”
“How?” You weren’t close with him but he wasn’t a bad person.
Arisu looks at you with unbridled guilt. “He died helping us win.”
“I’m sure he wouldn’t regret that choice.” You reassure him, it was never easy when you were the reason for someone’s death even when you weren’t directly involved in it. “I’m glad you’re both okay.”
“Likewise.” He doesn’t make an attempt to smile, you can understand why. “I think the game is starting.”
You look back to find the gates surrounding the large building open, something they hadn’t been when you arrived. “I’m gonna go get Chishiya.”
He seems to have the same idea as he walks towards you. “Happy?”
“Just peachy.” You retort sarcastically. “Let’s go.”
“Without us?” You could scream as you turn back to see Kuina and An walking towards you, both worse for wear with various cuts and bruises littering their pale bodies.
“Fuck.” You curse as you run towards them, your arms wrapping around their waist as you help them stay upright. “Chishiya!”
He understands and wraps Ans arm around his shoulder. “You owe me, both of you owe me.”
“Stop complaining.” You hiss at him. “What happened to you two?”
“We won our game but it was hard.” Kuina says tiredly. “I need to sit.”
“Here.” You help them both slump down against the set of stairs beside the building. “You’ll be okay, you will. Chishiya do you have anything to help?”
He looks at the pair before grabbing your hand and pulling you aside. “I’ll be honest. I don’t think they are going to make it.”
“Don’t say that.” You felt the colour drain from your face. “You can help them.”
“There’s too much blood.” He shakes his head. “It will be pointless.”
“Chishiya please.” You bat away your tears. “I can’t lose them.”
He groans but pulls the bag off his back. “What one first?”
“Her.” An nudges Kuina. “She has it worse.”
“Take this.” Chishiya shoved a small bottle of cleaning alcohol into your hands. “Clean as much as you can. I’ll deal with Kuina.”
“What happened?” You glance at Arisu before tuning back to An.
“They were in a game.” Your voice wavers as you carefully dab at the large gash on Ans leg. “We need to finish this and get out of here, they need a hospital.”
“Usagi and I have decided to play.” He informs you. “I’ll do my best.”
You hear him turn away. “Arisu?”
He turns back to you. “Yeah?”
“I know you can win this.”
You watch as he and Usagi disappear inside the building, both of them limping as they go, clearly sustaining their own injuries.
“Hey?” An croaks.
You turn your attention back to her. “Yeah?”
“It’s okay.” It takes her far more effort than it should to brush the tears away from your cheeks. “It’s okay.”
Arisu needed to win.
You needed to get out.
They needed to live.
You needed them to live.

Thinking about how relaxing would be to stay by the Beach pool, your legs in the water, a cool breeze brushing your skin in the depth of night, the moon illuminating the dark sky. But suddenly, you're bothered by the sounds of someone's steps. Chishiya.
"Can't sleep?" He said.
His hands are stuffed in his pockets, his white hoodie half zipped up.
"not really...today's game was pretty tough"
You're avoiding Chishiya's face, keeping your stare up at the beautiful stars that portray the sky so lovely you can't look away. Chishiya nods, taking a few more steps toward you as he keeps his eyes on your figure.
"what card suit did you have?" He asked.
"three of spades, why?"
Chishiya's lips curl upward into a small smirk, taking his eyes off you for a few seconds before returning to stare at you.
"three of spades? Weird, I haven't seen it marked at the wall. Are you sure it was three of spades?"
You stop for a second, your breath caught in your throat for a second. God, you're so stupid. So stupid. How could you tell him the actual card suit?
"Probably Hatter forgot to" you say quietly, still not looking at Chishiya.
Yeah right.
Hatter never forgot to mark the cards. Your heart started beating a bit faster at the thought of getting caught.
Chishiya's smirk grew a bit wider at this. He was fully aware you're lying and the fact that he caught you with something like that made him feel even prouder of himself.
"Come on ___, I'm not stupid, I know you're lying" He rolled his eyes nonchalantly.
"What do you want, Chishiya?"
You know if somebody else finds out about this you're dead. Hatter doesn't make any exceptions. Ever.
"I want a little pawn to spy on Hatter for me. I plan on getting out of here and since Hatter loves to hide things really well, I need a backup plan in case I don't find all the cards."
You finally look away from the dark sky and shift your eyes on him. His expression was stern but that arrogant smirk still plastered on his face. He knew what he was doing.
"and if I don't...?" Your voice was quivering slightly, your hands turning cold at the stress put on your shoulders and at the fear of getting caught by Hatter or someone else.
"I'll tell Hatter what you did. I'm not here to play games with you ___, I played enough games in the past few months"
His expression never changed, it was like he was empty inside. No emotion...just emptiness.
"Fine."
Chishiya sure knew how to ruin someone's peaceful night.

hiii could you please write chishiya x reader in episode 4? maybe they’d been in the group together before and had some type of fight but of course they have to rely on one another now and reader still doesn’t know whether to trust him or not?
First of all, I apologize for taking so long to do this request (+ the ones I have in my inbox). January was not kind to me, I almost got fired and then I got sick and I still am but hopefully, February is much kinder.
He used them. They hated him.
Weeks, if not months of what you thought was friendship and bonding down the drain because he had used you.
He wanted to get out, and escape this world but so did everyone else, so what gave him the right? If Hatter's theory was correct, Chishiya was high enough up on The Beach hierarchy that he wouldn't have to wait terribly long anyway but that was not the type of person Chishiya was.
Chiyshiya had used you, Arisu and Kuina, all three of you were manipulated and disposed of once Chishiya had all of the cards that Hatter and company had collected.
All that had been for nought as Hatter died, The Beach had turned into a game and the second stage had begun.
The last time you saw Chishiya, you cursed and glared at him before you disappeared from the crowd watching The Beach burn down.
Now here you were, waiting in a prison, waiting for The Jack of Hearts game to begin.
You were a solo player since The Ten of Hearst game at The Beach and it had worked out well for you. You didn't have to worry about any partners you were with, any partnerships you had were short and only for clearing games. nothing long-term. You had learned your lesson.
You had been too caught up on people watching that you hadn't noticed Chishiya Walk in and he had noticed and took the opportunity to get the jump on you.
"Nice to see that you're still alive" Chishiya muttered as he shifted to your side
You whipped around to face him, glare on your face as soon as you heard his voice.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me..."
Chishiya sent you a snarky grin, "Long time no see"
"Fuck off"
You tried to move around him and go to the other side of the room, when the speakers crackled to life, announcing the start of the game. You listened as they explained the rules, trying your hardest to ignore Chishiya right next to you.
Your mood soured as you realised that this game required partnership and you were in no mood to do teamwork in any form.
You watch everyone as they come to the same conclusion, pairs that had joined the game together were separating themselves from the rest of the players, others getting into pairs or small groups and one large group formed, led by a preppy young woman.
As everyone busied themselves for the next hour, you debated whether or not you should join that large group, by joining them you should be able to get through the next few rounds before the group, like any over large ones, implodes.
“We should probably join that group, at least at first,” Chiyshiya speaks out loud to you, which in itself is annoying but it’s double annoying because you had the same thought process as him.
Deciding to ignore him, you trail behind the large group. You planned to tag along relatively unnoticed just so you could set up a more concrete plan and people-watch. You wanted to find the damn Jack of Hearts and finish this game.
┆彡
There were only six of you left after Ippei died. He was kind enough to tell you your suit but the stress of the game had got to them and he chose to die though both you and Chishiya had told him his.
Now you were left with one person you could team up with, the last person you ever wanted but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Everyone else had fallen victim to backstabbing and manipulation that a combination of what these games purposely create along with certain personality types that thrive in the borderland.
Chishiya was one of them. He wasn’t someone who revelled in the depravity of the world but he managed to move within this world and its quirks without a problem.
You were in the cafeteria, snacking on some biscuits, wondering what the hell you were going to do. You knew that Chishiya was your only option but you could not move yourself to ask him for help you did not want to die, not whilst you were so close to the end.
Your thoughts were interrupted by someone stopping behind you,
“Heart”
Chishiya was behind you, your saving grace.
You turn your head to look at him and he gives you a shrug, “We’re in the same boat.”
He turns around and moves his hair to the side, showing you his suit. The opportunity to get payback on him after what he had done to you was staring right at you but you couldn’t do it, lying would mean his death and you could not have that on your conscience.
“Diamond”
Chishiya nods his head at you in thanks.
“I know who the Jack is. The next round is the last one” Chishiya lingers, “...I’m sorry by the way about what happened at The Beach”
“Forgiven and slightly forgotten”
Chishiya gives you one last smirk before he leaves the cafeteria.

Love Me Tender
For @caoticram , how Chishiya would approach the reader in search for affection ~
Spring is a wonderful season. Winter has its magical moments with the first snow, Christmas, cities lit up by colorful decorations, but as soon as New Year’s Eve passes, you quickly get tired of the cold. The decorations disappear one by one, and all that’s left are firework remains and dirty snow. People are haunted by flu after flu, the sun rarely shines and not even hot chocolate and warm blankets can save the mood any longer.
So when the first flowers peek through the snow and the days are getting longer, you’re so ready for spring. You want to leave the thick winter jacket back home and hold your face up into the sun, to soak up all the warmth into your cold skin. Spring is the time for trees to blossom, and the animals return. Birds sing everywhere you go, the color returns to the world, and the air is filled with love.
The thought makes you chuckle under your breath as you pass the busy street, because if you shared this idea with Chishiya, he’d mock you for being pathetically romantic. Springtime, the time for lovers; Valentine’s Day,… Nothing of interest for the blonde. It is a charm that you’ll have to enjoy for yourself, but that’s alright. Not everyone can be a hopeless romantic.
So you keep smiling, savor every second in the sun on your day off. It is clear that you’re not the only one feeling glad about the change of seasons. People all around you seem to be more cheerful, and so many have come out to enjoy the sun. It is almost a shame to go home now, but you still got some things to do other than procrastinating in the open.
Chishiya’s shoes are already greeting you in front of the door, carelessly thrown to the side to the pile of other shoes. He’s usually not the most untidy person, but this man really doesn’t care for footwear. It used to annoy you at times because you sometimes stumbled over them, but you’ve gotten used to it. The blonde is a human, after all, and he too has his flaws.
“Hey, Shuntarou, I’m home”, you call into the hallway while you slip off your jacket. From the living room, the sound of music reaches your ear, and you’re sure to hear the rustling of a magazine. Probably the medical journal that Chishiya buys weekly. He reads those things like others read a newspaper, it’s almost creepy.
Just as predicted, you see the blonde leaning over the kitchen table, smirking over something he’s currently reading. Some paper about a risky operation, but the technical terms are impossible to understand for non-surgeons. You peck a kiss onto Chishiya’s cheek, quickly hugging him from behind. “How was work?”
The blonde shrugs while his eyes keep focusing on the paper. “Uneventful.”
“So no girls with doll heads in their stomachs, or dudes who are living time bombs?”
“Honestly”, Chishiya returns with a chuckle, “you watch too much Grey’s Anatomy.”
“How else am I supposed to understand what you’re doing all day?” laughing, you check the table for any interesting mail but luckily there’re no bills today. Just advertisement, a birthday invitation, and the new menu for the pizzeria across the road.
You throw away the ads, put the menu to the others and quickly scan over the invitation. Another family party it will be, and you almost hope Chishiya will have to work that day so you’ll have an excuse not to come. You watch the blonde, still bent over that magazine as if it is the most interesting thing on earth, and can’t help but smile.
He doesn’t realize how beautiful he looks when he does that – arms flexed and hair falling loosely into his face, with his lips slightly parted while he reads. You decide to give him some space so he can finish that article, but just as you turn around to head to the couch, a firm hand wraps around your waist and keeps you in place.
“Huh?” you ask, blinking in confusion and wondering if you missed something. Chishiya hasn’t lifted his eyes, and you give him a minute more since he obviously wants to finish that paper first before telling you what’s going on.
The only indicator that he is done reading is a quiet sound escaping his mouth, something like ‘hrmpf’ if you had to describe it. And when he finally breaks away from the magazine to make eye contact, your heart skips a beat. No matter how many times you look at him, it always makes you hold your breath when his eyes lock with yours. It’s not the color that makes them so unique, it is something more… distinct. A depth, a glimpse to who he really is, that you can only spot when you look that closely. He usually hides most of it behind a wall of condescendence, but once you look past it, you can find the softness and tenderness he’d never admit to have.
In this moment, the softness is there, and it wakes the butterflies inside your stomach. You know this expression. It happens rarely, but when it does, you enjoy every second of it since it tends to pass away quickly.
Unable to hide a grin, you wrap your arms around his waist and Chishiya immediately reciprocates the gesture, hugging you tightly. He really isn’t the affectionate person, but every once in a while, even this man is in need of tenderness. “Seems you caught the spring fever too”, you whisper in a mocking tone, causing Chishiya to huff.
“Couch”, he grunts, and you wriggle yourself out of the hug, take his hand and lead him to the sofa where you both sit down, only to find yourself in another hug. “Was it such a stressful day that you n-“
“Shhhh.”
You chuckle under your breath, simply enjoying the strong heartbeat against your chest and the warmth that emerges from his body. How come men are always living heaters?
Even if you wanted to end this cuddle session, Chishiya wouldn’t let you. His arms hold you firmly, running up and down your back while sometimes pausing at your neck to play with some strands of hair. His head rests on top of yours, and you feel his breath move over your hair every time he breathes in and out.
“Or did the article tell you anything about how physical contact improve-“
“Shhhhhh.”
This time, you stay silent for good, having no need to mock him further. This is a pleasant situation for you, too, and there is no reason to ruin it. You mimic his movements and fondle with the blonde-dyed hair, move your fingers down the side of his face, caress his back. Chishiya doesn’t say anything, but the way he remains silent and sometimes moves his head towards your fingers, telling you to continue what you’re doing, is enough to let you know that this is what he has wanted.
Just some silent tenderness. Chishiya and you, nothing more.
A kiss on top of your hair causes you to lift your face, and your eyes meet for a short moment before your foreheads touch just like the tips of your noses. Somehow, this feels much more intimate like a kiss, more… familiar.
But since it’s Chishiya, it doesn’t last long. Probably a couple of minutes pass before he removes his hands from your body and gets up from the sofa as if he had been doing nothing. You sigh with a smile, fully aware that his walls have been pulled back up.
Not forever, though. Once in a while, he will come back to you and tell you without words that he’s in the mood for some tenderness. And you’ll gladly be there to give it to him.

the eventful internship
Genre: fluff??
A shuntarou chishiya x reader
Warning: manga/season 2 spoilers!! This story is tied to chishiya's backstory so please look away
Synopsis: shuntarou chishiya is the most interesting person on your first day of internship. Why was he always smirking? Why did he always hang back and stay far from the others? Why does your heart beat out of your chest when you see him?
a/n: GUESS WHO'S BACK!! I have chishiya fever bcs of that stupid trailer with our lovely boyyyyy!! So here, have this little intern romance fic! Sorry if the pacing/flow is wonky, i’m a bit rusty-
They say the first day is always the hardest.
You've always wanted to be a doctor. It's been your lifelong dream. After how many years of med school, you were finally able to get an internship at a hospital in Tokyo. To say you were nervous would be an understatement. It was your first day. Anything can happen. Your hands were shaking and sweaty as you entered the hospital, excited and anxious to see the place you'll be staying at and meeting your fellow interns.
Surprisingly, things were going smoothly. You introduced yourself to your fellow interns flawlessly. Your resident was nice and showed you the ropes, and your rounds were silent. The patients were understanding and nice. There wasn't really anything noteworthy that day.
Well, there was someone.
You took notice of a long, blonde-haired man who stood in the back of the room most of the time. Chishiya, the other interns called him. He kept his distance from the group, always wearing some sort of smirk on his face. It was interesting, to say the least. Why was he always smiling like that? Did he think he was better than everyone else? Is he actually better than everyone else?
You wanted to learn more.
So you decided to ask the other interns about him. "oh, chishiya?" one of them asked, subtly gesturing to the blonde male for confirmation. You nodded your head at them. "He stays a step behind everyone, but you'll be surprised he's already answering the resident's questions and giving diagnoses without a hitch. He always has this smirk on his face and," the intern shivered. You assumed the cocky look on chishiya's face flashed in their mind. "I don't know. He's just so intimidating. You should stay away from him,"
You knew you should've listened. They've been with him for longer than you have. but you couldn't shake the growing feeling of wanting to get to know him. You wanted to talk to him, see what he's like with your own eyes.
That leads you to your current predicament, you and Chishiya standing in the back in silence while you watch the resident perform a couple of tests on a patient.
You wanted to start a conversation with him, maybe a hello and introduce yourself but his dead eyes were fixated on the procedure in front of you as if he didn't notice your presence lingering beside him.
You glanced at him from time to time. Maybe he was just a passionate guy, absorbed in the lecture. Maybe he was just ignoring you, not wanting to deal with the curious, naïve fresh meat or maybe-
"you should keep your eyes on the procedure instead of staring at me, newbie," chishiya said, his brown eyes still fixed on the resident's movements. His tone was just what you expected, light and mocking. With his hands stuffed in his white coat and his smirk never leaving his face, his whole demeanor gave off a sort of superior vibe. He felt like he was above everyone else. With that confidence, he just might be.
You didn't know if you were more intimidated or interested.
You opened your mouth to apologize only to be interrupted by the louder voice in the front. "so, can anyone tell me the next step of this exam?" the resident asked, their eyes scanning all the other interns who diverted their gazes to avoid being called. Those eyes finally landed on you. Your throat felt dry as you watched the resident open their mouth to call on you. You definitely weren't paying attention. What was the procedure anyway? Can you just make up your answer? Maybe you can answer it with common sense. You quickly try to remember what the procedure was and its previous steps but came up empty. You braced yourself for your first embarrassment of the day.
Before your name could even leave the resident's lips, the tall blonde beside you spoke up, the air growing light as he recited the next few steps in great detail. It was like he was reading it straight from the textbook. He was just repeating everything from the top of his head.
Wow, he really was above everyone else.
You only realized you were staring when Chishiya turned to look at you, his smirk growing wider and his stance growing taller, it was like his ego was growing every second you kept your eyes on him. "am I really that interesting?"
You were taken aback at the question. "wha-"
"You've been staring for quite a while. Can't take your eyes off me?"
You feel your cheeks heat up. He just saved you from humiliation, and you had the audacity to stare at him like he was some kind of painting. You tried to explain yourself, but the words kept getting stuck in your throat. Chishiya laughed at your struggle.
Before you could say something, your group began to head off to a different area for your rounds. Chishiya followed behind them, leaving you in the dust as you tried to regain your thoughts.
What the fuck just happened?
You quickly scrambled to catch up to the group. You glanced at Chishiya once more. He must’ve felt so cool with his antics earlier. You wanted to tell him off. You wanted to to tell him that showing off his knowledge was unnecessary, that you could've handled it, and that his cocky, high attitude is why the other interns are so afraid of him. But you couldn't bring yourself to do that. So you went with the next best thing. "sorry… for causing you trouble," you apologized, keeping your gaze on the floor. Chishiya didn't bat an eye at your apology, seemingly ignoring you.
"I'm (y/n) by the way," you said, wanting to change the subject. Chishiya only chuckled at your attempt.
"if it'll get you off my tail, I'm chishiya," the blonde said, not even glancing at you. "now, let me tell you something, newbie," he stopped in his tracks. You looked up from the floor, confused. What did he just call you? You stopped to look back at him.
"the name's (y/n)-"
"right, I don't care," he brushed it off, swatting the air carelessly. "why don't you waddle back to the other interns and stuck-ups, listen to the resident, and finally leave me alone, yeah?"
Chishiya took a second to savor your stunned expression before heading off to catch up to the other interns.
The next few weeks went by like a blur as you were swamped with new patients, more paperwork, and more interactions with Chishiya.
Despite his words on your first day, he didn't seem to mind your presence when you chose to keep standing beside him in the back of the group.
After that close call with the resident, you vowed never to embarrass yourself like that again. You kept close attention to what they were discussing and made sure to hit the books every once in a while. You were able to answer a handful of the resident's questions before Chishiya could even show off.
"looks like I have my work cut out for me," Chishiya muttered with that same sing-song tone once again after you beat him to the punch. You turned to glance at him. He was sporting his usual smirk. Only this time, you can see a notable scrunch on his brow, his eye twitching in annoyance.
You would do anything to see that frustrated expression again.
And so the rivalry began.
To other interns, you and Chishiya had been as close as ever. You would be seen sitting at the same table together, studying, talking to one another in hushed tones, and standing next to one another as you took turns answering the resident. In their eyes, you were the new dynamic duo. If one of you were there, the other wouldn't be too far away.
Everybody wanted to have what you have.
If only they knew what was really happening.
What looked to be innocent study sessions were actually heated quiz bees where you placed a set amount of time on reading as much as you could from the textbook and then rapid-fire questions at one another until the timer ended. Whenever one of you gets the answer wrong, which is rare, the other would gloat hard.
"pfft," chishiya chuckled mockingly at you, watching you struggle to answer his question. "it's such an elementary question, newbie. Here i was thinking we were equals," The timer on your phone was close to 0 but your brain doesn't want to recall the answer.
"i'm trying, okay?" you said, frustrated. Your alarm hit 0, the beep irritatingly loud in your ears. You looked up from the table to see chishiya smirking at you, amused by your failure.
"dear (y/n) can't even remember that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell?"
"IT WAS ON THE TIP OF MY TONGUE OKAY?"
The hushed whispers were actually just the two of you taunting and annoying one another. At first, it was hard not to let chishiya's teasing remarks get on your nerves, but with time, you could start living with it.
"aww, you couldn't even get a word in earlier~" you said, nudging him as you walked to your next patient.
Chishiya could only snarl at you as he silently continued walking, not wanting to give into your teasing.
He retaliated by speeding and leaving you in the hallway, where you proceeded to get lost for the next thirty minutes.
Finally, What looked to be simple acts of chivalry were actually the two of you fighting tooth and nail to answer the resident first.
"you bitch, I know this. move," you said confidently, shoving chishiya out of the way to be seen over other interns’ shoulders. That method seemed to work as the resident called on you and you recited your answer.
You were shocked to see the resident shake their head. "ah, but you're missing something, (y/n)," the resident pointed out, looking around for any other hands wanting to answer.
You could feel chishiya's amused stare burning holes in the side of your head as he slowly raised his hand and got called.
With his grating, teasing voice, he answered the question. The resident greeted his answer with a smile and a confirming nod.
You weren't sure why the other interns want to have what you have.
Maybe they wanted someone to annoy them every second of the day. Maybe they want the privilege of getting an academic rival.
Or maybe they want to experience the unintentional touches, the longing gazes, and feel their heartbeat quicken when he gets close.
You dismissed that last thought. That was what you felt. Chishiya would never let himself feel that way, right?
Right?
You didn't want to take any chances. You needed to ride your feelings out before they get worse before chishiya catches on and gets affected.
Before he uses your feelings to his advantage and breaks your heart.
So you did what you thought was best.
You started to distance yourself.
Instead of standing next to chishiya during your rounds, you chose to stand in front of the group. Instead of bugging him like you usually do, you kept silent and avoided his questioning gaze. And Instead of barging into his little bubble during your breaks, You chose to sit at a different table this time, leaving him alone with his textbooks and notes.
It didn't take long for chishiya to catch on.
He didn't know why but he felt empty without your teasing smiles and your soft voice. He felt empty without your nudging and your competitive spirit.
He felt empty without you.
Your plan of avoiding him was short-lived, however when Chishiya pulled you out of the group and into one of the quieter hallways.
Chishiya could only let out a soft, irritated breath. "mind telling me why you stopped bugging me?" he asked.
"Maybe because I want to stop bugging you?" you answered with common sense. That wasn't the answer Chishiya was looking for.
"that's the thing," Chishiya said, annoyed at your answer. "you always make it a point to bug me one way or another. You stand next to me in the back every day even though I specifically told you not to. You sit at my table and insist we study together when I can study just fine on my own. You always start bickering in my ear, and it just annoys me to no end-"
"If you're annoyed, why are you looking for answers? I'm already leaving you alone; isn't that enough?"
"I want to know why. Why did you suddenly stop? Why now?"
You crossed your arms over your chest. Should you tell him the true reason why you were distancing yourself from him? how your heartbeat begins to quicken every time he gets near? How your breath hitches every time he smirks at you?
Should you tell chishiya that you fell for him?
You finally looked at the blonde man in front of youu, looking into his expectant brown eyes. You willed yourself to open your mouth, to spill your thoughts, your symptoms, your feelings. You willed yourself to tell the truth.
only to be interrupted by the loud crackle of fireworks and the bright hospital lights suddenly turning off.
CLIFFHANGER WOOP WOOP- sorry if the ending seems a bit rushed. I've been working on this piece for a while and I am honestly running out of writing juice- sorry if this isn't on par with my normal writing- I'm still a bit rusty! Hope you guys enjoyed!!

hobbies/quirks in your relationships - !pre borderlands SUGURU NIRAGI, SHUNTAROU CHISHIYA, HIKARI KUINA
CW: mentions of arguments, intoxication, alcohol consumption
AN: hello to my new and old readers!! since a lot of ppl are reading my fics again since s2 came out here's a lil thingy to celebrate!. Niragi's portion was written for a multi-part fic, but i decided why not make it into a scenario thingy instead of another series i know i wont continue HAHAH, anyway that explains why its longer than chisiyas and kuinas, anwayy happy reading!
SUGURU NIRAGI - never talking about each other romantically unless tipsy enough.
You and Niragi were best friends in the ordinary world. After your office hours together you both often went out to drink or have late dinner together, talking about all the stresses your office jobs offered. Oftentimes, when one of you gets drunk enough, you or he would elaborate on the things you loved the most about the other.
Niragi would boast on and on about how kind and considerate you are, how admirable you are with even such a stressful job and a questionable workplace environment, you never gave up solely on the reason that you just couldn't leave your best friend behind (Possibly also because putting little easter eggs for each other in the games you created was fun. Especially when you see game theorists become mind-boggled on why ‘igarin’ and ‘n/y’ were always written in the corner of some wall in the game). He would talk about how elegant your features were even if it was so late to the point your eyes were fighting to not fall asleep. You on the other hand would disregard these ramblings while you helped him walk home since, knowing him, he would just fall asleep on the street while continuing to talk about you even if you just left him there. However, when you have taken one too many drinks, Niragi wouldn't hesitate to get closer to you just to protect you from the prying eyes and hands of the other men in the bar you both are in. You would just stare at him, simply stating that he was beautiful and that you were in love with him. Of course, he would just attempt to hide the red tint collecting on his face while the bartender present may or may not have given him a signal that you were telling the truth. Just like you, he would help you get home, this time having an arm around your waist to make sure no one tries anything with you. He would grab your keys from your pockets and help you get to bed. If in a certain occasion, have instantly fallen asleep, he would place a kiss on your forehead and sprint out of your home in embarrassment while he locked your door, and hid your keys in a potted plant for you to find in the morning.
SHUNTAROU CHISHIYA - always making lunch for each other
Med school isn't easy for anyone. Internships, tests, lessons, lectures, everything you both had to do always made the days blur together. Your relationship with the Cheshire was getting complicated. Meaningless and unsincere arguments visited and left, leaving you both with tired eyes and frustrated faces. Even with these ups and downs in your relationship, one thing never left and was never forgotten. Food!
With every evening spent restless, there would always be an afternoon after spent with each other, sharing and exchanging Bentos you made for each other the morning before. Though most lunches were spent with the both of you in silence, it was a type of silence where no words were needed since your minds spoke for themselves. Warm mutual understandings of forgiveness, even with no mellow apologies spoken, telepathic i-love-you’s exchanged, all topped off with you-mean-so-much-to-me glances after you both had finished.
The both of you were always tired of the multiple things you had to do, but on days where getting angry was also too tiring, Chishiya would always just let you speak your mind, not even listening to what you have to say since he himself has to fight just to re assure you that he was awake and present (white lies are never wrong in his book).
HIKARI KUINA - teenage-styled sleepovers
Being a high-end fashion designer, dating a casual apparel clerk was never what anyone thought you would end up being in the future, yet here you are with her, having green clay masks on your faces, wearing bathrobes after a ‘spa’ in your bathtub.
With the both of you on your king-sized bed, with snacks cluttering the side tables, and a telephone in the middle of the bed, there was only one thing left for the both of you to do: PRANK CALLLSSS. Though the both of you knew how immature this was, it never bothered the both of you much since it was a nice way to have fun and act as if the both of you were two girls in high school again. Be that as it may, the prank calling was always a 30-minute journey, with most ending with the receiver hanging up as soon as they registered an unfamiliar voice. The two of you always end up on top of one another, not in a sexual manner, but as if you both just want to gaze into each other’s eyes to enjoy the moment with each other.
As you sit on top of her lap, cupping both sides of her face, you lay soft kisses on her lips as she keeps her eyes on yours. Giggles echo around the room as the two of you enjoy the comfort and aura of each other. The fact that you both were at the stage where you are collectively comfortable with each other, was enough to send her to a feeling of bliss.

bedtime and band aid
Chishiya x F!Reader
Haru sniffled, as she stared at the scraps on her knee that would definitely leave a little scar but nothing too serious. Chishiya knelt down opening the packet of alcohol wipes, and looked up at his daughter.
“This will sting a bit okay?” He said, and she nodded gripping onto the cat plush. Chishiya wiped the scrap, and Haru whined in pain at the burning sensation on her leg.
Chishiya reached over grabbing the small, tube of Neosporin, and gently squeezing it on her wound. Then grabbing a band aid and placing it on her knee.
“There you go,” He says, and she smiled softly looking at her knee.
“Thanks daddy,” she says, hopping off the bed. “When will mommy get home?” She asks, and Chishiya looked down at his daughter.
He knew that there was a chance that, [Y/n] could die. That’s very much a possibility, but she had too much to fight for a family, a daughter.
“Once she finished the game,” He says, and Haru looked down pouting she wanted mommy. She already missed her even thought it’s barely been an hour since she left.
Chishiya sighed, kneeling down and picking up his daughter. Her friend hand played with his light blonde hair; running her tiny fingers through it. She then gently played with his white jacket, he smiled softly looking at his daughter. Her cheeks puffed up telling him that she was upset.
Chishiya kissed her forehead letting her know; that everything will be alright. He placed her down on the ground, and just as he did.
The door to their bedroom opened. Haru smiled, and ran towards her mother. “Mommy!” Haru exclaimed, and her mother knelt down wrapping her arms around her daughter.
“I’m back, like I promised.” [Y/n] said, kissing the side of her daughters head. She then looked up and saw Chishiya. She pulled away from her daughter, and walked towards her husband.
“How hard was the game?” He asked, and she looked at him.
“Pretty hard, got nicked right here.” She says, pointing at the scar on her cheek. “Put pretty much I’m alright.” She says, and Chishiya smiled.
“Was she good?” She asked, and Haru looked down. “She, ran off I couldn’t find her for about a half an hour.” He said, and [Y/n] turned to look towards her daughter who looked down.
“Luckily, Kuina was able to find her.” He said, and he watched as his wife knelt down to Haru’s level.
She hid her face behind the plush cat. “Haru…” [Y/n] said, sternly.
“Yes, mommy.” Haru revealed her face, “I told you to listen to daddy, while I’m gone.” Haru listened to her mother and frowned.
“What if something were to happen to you. While I’m away, everytime either me or daddy are gone. We worry about you so much.” She says, and Haru pouts.
“I’m sorry mommy and daddy.” Haru says, and [Y/n] sighs, planting another kiss on her forehead.
“Alright, bedtime.” [Y/n] said, and scooping up her daughter.

Two Cat People In The Same Room. (III)
Part lll —> (Part ll here)
Chishiya Shuntaro x Reader x Banda Sunato
Description: Apparently raiding the department stores was everyone’s first instinct after the king of spades scare at Shibuya Cross. Now you’re stuck with only a cat hoodie over your inconvenient swimwear from the beach, and two unconventional cat lovers in a game of betrayal.
Word count: 1581
Tags: Gender-neutral reader, general audiences, canon divergence, fluff, canon typical character behavior and description of violence, Chishiya and Banda side-eyeing each other, can be platonic or romantic.
——————————————————————
“Heart.”
You said out loud to nothing in particular inside your cell.
Seconds pass, and of course, your collar didn’t explode, it was just like Chishiya and Ippei told you.
And Banda too..you suppose. He didn’t have to do that though, your partnership with Chishiya and Ippei was pretty obvious, you didn’t necessarily need his help.
It was also a little creepy for him to follow you, whether with his eyes or like when he chased you down the hall.
But…In his defense, Banda was nice to step in for the guy getting kicked by the bully while you were too scared to intervene, so maybe you just misunderstood him. And it wasn’t like he outright did anything to hurt you, perhaps he was just a little awkward and didn’t get social cues.
Which is relatable to a certain degree.
As you thought about your strange encounter with Banda, someone banged on the door of your cell a few times, alerting you.
“Are you just going to keep standing there?”
Chishiya could be seen through the little tiny barred windows.
“O-oh, I'm coming.”
You reached out to unlock the door, and as you did, the man could be heard letting out a sigh. You wanted to question him, but stepping out, you quickly noticed a commotion down the hallway.
A couple of players from the blue dress girl’s group stood in front of a cell, panicking about something as she stood there twirling her hair.
“What happened?”
Chishiya looks at you with hands in his pocket, shrugging.
“That tall bully probably died.”
Your eyes widen, both at how casual he sounded and at the news that someone actually died, which can only mean they failed to guess their suit. You thought that the timid guy had told the bully the answer to be left alone, what happened to that?
“Did you not hear the bang when you were in your cell?”
You shook your head no, suddenly feeling uncomfortable from the thin layer of sweat covering your skin.
“Tha..That can’t be, I didn-”
“GUYS! WHAT WAS THAT NOISE?”
Ippei rushed towards the two of you from what you assumed was upstairs.
“Ippei?”
He caught his breath, then looked past you to the group murmuring among themselves.
“What happened?”
Chishiya’s lips twitch, probably thinking something along the lines of ‘not again.’ He shook his head and ended up brushing past you, heading towards the opposite direction where the other players stood.
“Thanks to a certain instigator, the ball’s finally rolling.”
Confused, you glance at Ippei who seemed equally clueless. You looked back at Chishtiya walking off, and gestured that you were going to catch up to him.
The white-haired man felt a tap on his shoulder.
You wanted to ask, but Chishiya always had an air that made it difficult for you to question him. He possessed such an underlying intensity in his eyes that you often blank out when given his whole attention.
“Need something?”
A small grin grew on Chishiya’s face at noticing your reluctance, and he still wore that stupid, teasing tone.
“What do you mean by that?”
You didn’t understand what he meant by an ‘instigator’, perhaps the jack of hearts had made their move?
“It means, try not to chase the ball, kitty cat.”
Chishiya gives you a small pat on the head, walking off.
.
.
.
You resist the urge to roll your eyes when he was out of view, what did Chishiya take you for?
“I miss having normal company..”
——————————————————————
In the cafeteria, you can almost sense the unresolved tension between members of the biggest group. They were all whispering among themselves, but what invaded your mind the most was the obnoxious crunching of Urumi’s strawberry pockey. It only reminded you of how hungry you were, but every time you entertained the thought of eating something, you wanted to throw up.
They didn’t even have proper food! It was all packaged and mostly snacks.
“You’re restless and you need energy. You should eat something since we won't be getting any sleep.”
Chishiya slides a packet of cookies across the table.
“I don’t want your dry biscuits..”
You slide the cookies to Ippei next to you.
“Oh, thank you.”
Ippei smiled and accepted them, opening the cookies. He took a bite, and his face lit up.
“They’re good?”
He nods, offering you some again but you shake your head. They don’t look exactly the most appetizing currently, so Ippei can have them.
A small scoff escapes your ears.
Across the table, Chishiya watched Ippei with an unreadable expression.
Watch Ippei eat the cookies he gave to you.
“I’ll go see if they have something else.”
You got up from the table with Chishiya’s lingering stare on your back, going to scavenge the shelves that were stocked with all types of junk food, from potato chips to gummy candies.
“Hmm..”
Nothing really piqued your interest so you moved to the next aisle, deeper into the storage area.
.
.
A rustling noise could be heard around the corner, and you instinctively turned, suddenly seeing someone crouching in the shadows behind a few boxes.
“AH-”
Startled, you couldn’t scream before the figure pulled you down into the shadows with them, hand clasped around your mouth.
“Shh.”
“L-mrgh go!”
You tried to pull away from the stranger, but they ended up tightening their hold, forcing you into a position facing outwards.
“Mmf?”
From the corner where you were both huddled, it provided a clear view into one of the aisles without exposing yourselves.
“You need to be quiet..or else Matsushita would hear us.” They whispered.
Matsushita?
You see a man who looked to be lingering around the shelves, staring in the direction where the cafeteria tables were.
By now, the big group had left, and the only ones sitting were Ippei and the women dressed in business casual.
Wait, then where was Chishiya?
Somebody stepped in your peripheral vision.
“There you a-”
Chishiya gets pulled behind the boxes by his arm, and he stumbles a bit before falling right on top of you. You let out a small noise that was muffled by the unknown person’s hand, and even Chishiya appears to be flustered for less than a second before furrowing his brows.
“What are you doing here with Banda?”
He said with a hushed tone, understanding to be quiet.
“Mm-anda?!”
The man behind seemed to breathe even closer down your neck at that statement.
“Don't act so surprised when you interrupted me first.” Banda muttered into your ear.
Chishiya looks to you for an explanation, but you thought that even if Banda frees your mouth, you wouldn’t get anything comprehensive out from how jittery you felt at the moment.
You avoided his catlike eyes in shame, as if you really had been caught doing something wrong.
You couldn’t help it, Chishiya was on top of you, close enough that you could smell that distinct sea breeze shampoo provided by the beach hotel. You wanted to sigh at the familiar fragrance, but Banda’s large hand still muffled your voice, his chest pressing against your back, radiating body heat.
“Mmph..”
You were quite literally sandwiched between the two, finding it harder and harder to breathe with the overwhelming feelings.
“You still haven’t answered my question.”
Chishiya pressed further, causing a grin to grow on Banda’s face.
“I was watching Matsushita.” He answered lowly.
It didn’t necessarily explain why you of all people ended up there, and you hope to god Chishiya would drop it instead of embarrassing you further.
The white haired clicked his tongue, snarkily replying.
“Where I’m from, that's called stalking.”
Tiny tears formed in your eyes, if Banda didn’t let go, right now, you were afraid you'd suffocate.
“Then that’ll make the kitty cat a stalker too.”
“Oho? Seems like this kitty cat attracts a lot of bad, bad, men.”
You were going to kill Chishiya after this. If he has no problem provoking Banda, then so be it.
“L-LET! GO!”
You tried your best to bite the skin of Banda’s palm, effectively startling him into releasing you. You took the chance to then push Chishiya off, forcing him to fall backwards and knock over the empty boxes that previously concealed your hiding place.
However, the amount of force you used also threw off your balance, and you plopped right on top of Chishiya.
“H-Huh?”
You rubbed your head, glancing up to see emo guy- Matsushita, giving you a judgemental look.
“Oh, uhhm..”
You couldn’t find the proper words to explain yourself, stuttering until someone grabbed your wrist.
“Not that I mind..but can you get off of me first?”
Realizing your awkward position, you scrambled off of Chishiya as he chuckled, dusting off his jacket.
“Matsushita, oh, um, we were just..”
Banda didn’t see any point in hiding anymore, getting up from the ground and walking over.
This must look so, so weird from a stranger’s point of view. You wanted to be freed from the situation already and run to the only normal person in this place,Ippei, for comfort.
With the most unbothered expression, Banda addressed his partner calmly.
“Thanks for interrupting, Matsushita.”
Matsushita looked from Banda to you, then to Chishiya. He looked visibly uneasy, and a pink flush grew across your face as you tried to deny it by waving your hands.
“This isn’t what it looks-”
Chishiya dramatically sighed, and pretended to be disappointed with the fakest frown you’ve ever laid your eyes on.
“Just stop, he already knows~”
You drop both your arms, even more horrified than previously as your jaw opens and closes before yelling,
“CHISHIYA!”
~AN: Thank you for reading and all of the support! I hope you enjoyed part three, and point any spelling mistakes please! :D~

Everything happened so fast, from Niragi shooting Chishiya the first time, the ex-militant challenging them to a shootout, to your boyfriend-but not protecting Usagi from getting shot, taking the brunt of it as he fell to the ground. Arisu had shot Niragi, sending him flying off from the car that he was standing on.
“Chishiya!” Your scream echoed throughout the empty street as you ran toward the man you were in love with. “No, no, no, no...” You kept repeating to yourself as you put pressure on his wound. “You’re okay, Shuntaro, you’re okay.” Usually, Chishiya would’ve chided you for using his first name, but with the pain coming from his chest to the panic in your eyes, he couldn’t find himself able to muster up the energy to do so.
Arisu said your name, placing a hand on your shoulder as you turned to look at him with tears in your eyes. “We have to move him.” And move him you guys did, leaning him up against a car where you sat down next to him. “You’re not coming to the final game with us?” Usagi asked. You shook your head, taking your lover’s weak hand in yours. “No, I- I can’t leave him like this.” You whispered. “Don’t be an idiot.” You heard Chishiya say next to you. “I’m not. I’m staying here.” You said firmly. “What if something happens?” Arisu was unsure about leaving you out here in the open, so vulnerable.
“Then it happens, and I’ll handle it, but you guys have to go.” Usagi and Arisu shared a look before they both bent down to hug you, Usagi sparing you an even harder squeeze before she pulled away begrudgingly.
Back when you had first arrived at the Beach, you had found friendship within the mountain climber, the woman making this world much more bearable, fighting side by side with you as you completed games together. You could even say that she had grown to become your best friend.
“Why would you do that?” You turned your attention to the stubborn man. “Because I wanted to.”
A peaceful silence settled around the two of you before you broke it.
“You know, this was not the place I had imagined falling in love in.” There was a bitter smile on your face as you turned to look at him. “I guess there’s no reason to keep it a secret anymore. I love you, Chishiya Shuntaro, no matter how cruel or unempathetic you’ve been to me. I- I don’t regret meeting you, don’t regret being a part of your stupid plan back at the Beach, that I had finally found you again.” You had begun to tear up as he just stared at you. “I don’t know who I am to you, I don’t know if you feel the same despite all those nights we shared together in secret. I don’t know what waits for us on the other side, I- I don’t even know if were going to make it out of this, but if we do, I swear, I will find you.”
“I do.” He groaned. “You what?” You asked with furrowed brows. “I feel the same.” You laughed deliriously, looking like a lunatic with dried blood and tears on you. “Who knew it would take you until you were dying to tell me.” Your comment had caused that shit-eating smirk you loved but also hated so much to spread on his face. You leaned down hesitantly, placing a kiss on his lips. He reciprocated your affections the best he could before your amorous exchange was interrupted by the question of,
“Say yes if you would like permanent residency, say no if you wish to return.”
“What are you going to pick?” You asked after you firmly declared that no, you do not want to stay there. “I don’t want it, I think.” You smacked him light-heartedly, “Don’t be an ass.” He snorted. His hands squeezed yours to bring your attention back to him. “What do you think is going to happen now?” You were overcome with anxiety as you asked him. “I don’t know.” And that was the last thing he had said to you before everything went black.
One moment you were walking to your favorite convenience store, the next there were comets flying in the sky in broad daylight before disaster struck. For the moments that you had been rendered unconscious, you felt as though you had been sent to a far away before you were awoken by EMT’s pulling your body out from under the rubble of fallen buildings, frantically searching for life behind your bleary eyes. Your body was assaulted by overwhelming feelings of pain in every single part of you during your short-lived consciousness, before you had passed out, once again.
Beeping. There was annoying beeping sounding from all around you. Groaning, you peeled your eyes open, which felt like they had been encrusted closed. ‘A hospital room, how lovely’ you couldn’t help but think. “What the hell happened?” You mumbled to yourself, your voice a terrible rasp. A nurse tending to another patient turned to answer you. “There was a comet that destroyed Shibuya. Your heart, and many others even stopped for a minute.” It was almost impossible to wrap your head around what she was saying. It felt way longer than a minute.
Turning your head to your right, you were met with a man with long bleached blonde hair, just staring off into the distance in front of him.
“You in here for the same thing?” You couldn’t help but ask. When he turned to look at you, something familiar settled in your gut. His eyes made you angry as well as shy, like you had gazed into them many times before. “Mhm.” Was all that you had gotten back from him. It was a short response, a valid one to give someone you didn’t know, but he didn’t stop looking at you either. Your heart sped up, which was obvious due to the machine hooked up to you.
The day had bled into night, and upon further inspection from doctors, you were cleared to go home the next day with only a broken arm. A part of you didn’t want to leave your roommate that you had grown fond to in such a short amount of time. Even though you two had soon gotten to know each other through the night, it felt like you had already known that he was a doctor before he had told you, like it wasn’t anything new. He didn’t look all that surprised when you told him about your life as well, as if he felt the same. You grew to find that his name was Chishiya.
You didn’t have much to take home from the hospital, besides your dirty clothes that you had reluctantly put back on. There was dirt and grime all over them, but it felt better than walking out into the busy streets of Tokyo in those hospital gowns that made you feel like you were naked. It was safe to say you were disappointed to find the man that you had embarrassingly grown a crush on in such a short amount of time was gone from his bed, sheets rustled and blanket discarded.
Letting out a sigh, you left the room, heading towards the stairs until you heard someone pipe up from behind you.
“Leaving without saying goodbye?” Chishiya asked in amusement. You turned around, a small smile on your face. “I didn’t know where you were.” He leant on his crutch so that he could lift a bottle of juice clasped in his free hand before lowering his arm back down. “Have they told you when you’re going to be released?” He hummed, “Tomorrow.” He said simply before taking a sip of his drink. His eyes stayed trained on you as you looked to the side before back to him.
“I- uh. Goodbye?” You chuckled awkwardly. Chishiya swallowed his drink, fighting against the whirlwind of emotions brewing inside of him. Even though his face didn’t show it, he felt a constant pull towards you, he did even before you had awakened from your slumber, unable to help his curiosity as he found himself in a hospital room. It was at that moment that he realized that he couldn’t let you go, something inside of him couldn’t allow you to leave.
“A coffee couldn’t hurt.” Was all he said. Your eyebrows furrowed before they raised. “Are you asking me out?” You asked unsurely, albeit hopefully.
He hummed. “If that’s what you’d like to call it.” You broke out into a fuller smile this time. “Then yes, a coffee couldn’t hurt.”
