Neither the kiss nor Chinzilla randomly appearing had anything at all to do with the narrative arc of this episode.

There was no build up to this moment in the storyline, so like a lot of this show, it all ended up feeling a bit meh!

GMMTV basically said ‘GemFourth have the power to sell anything so we don’t need to really try to make this series well. Just throw in enough MSP nostalgia to help sell the merch!’ 🙄

It’s sadly ended up being a cheap imitation of both Kieta Hatsukoi and MSP because it ultimately feels like no one cared that much about making this series with any heart… and it shows!
