Feels like I'm watching a show on a streamer. That's how clean, professional, and well made this film is. With the chef element, I was waiting for some "cousin" to be thrown in amongst the "yes, chef" quotes that has become pop culture popular with the success of FX's The Bear. While I would have liked more scares and a better resolution, filmmaker Christianne Cruz is able to build enough of a hook and premise to keep you invested. Kudos also to lead actress Isabelle Hahn for a captivating and believable performance.
