"Buck was cursed as an infant because of his parents selfishness. As a result, people see his appearance as what they desire the most. Most people see him as highly handsome though they wouldn't be able to agree about his features. Bobby sees him as looking a lot like a younger version of himself as he wants a son, Hen sees him as having very feminine features while Chim sees him as a male version of Maddie. It takes a long time for Buck to realise it but Eddie and Chris are the only two people in the world who sees him as he sees himself.

I won't even mind the predictability.

What predictability you ask? The fact that I could have called Madney's eventual (now soon-to-be) wedding would be at a hospital (not yet a guarantee - just increasingly likely given cast interview clues and leaked wardrobe details) back in 2018 when they were just "friends".

My obvious desire to see that Madney gets their happy ending aside, I think that reason for my lack of care for surprises in this case would also be apparent, and, yes, I'm talking about the insinuated Buddie/Dickl(e)y high jinks that occur around the wedding that are also promised from cast interview clues and leaked wardrobe details.

Whether Buddie/Dickl(e)y goes canon this season or not, and whether or not Madney's wedding is emergency free, we are getting Buddie/Dickl(e)y shenanigans right before we get to watch Madney finally get their happy ending in the middle of an already-highly-rated season on a new, more queer-friendly, network, so I'm thoroughly excited, and keeping an open mind where this season will end ... let alone future seasons that we're now bound to have due to the self-beating premiere records.

And the fact that it’s safe to assume that the show is waiting until it’s on ABC to give us the Madney wedding is making me, both very nervous (because that network, in particular, loves to turn special moments in to disasters and Madney definitely deserve a perfect wedding), and so excited (because all of the ‘it will finally happen at a wedding’ theories are equally most likely to come true on that network).

Again, like I said before, now is not the time to jump ship.

Will Chimney propose to Maddie?

No. If she’s open to the idea of marriage again, it’ll be Maddie who proposes to Chimney, and it’s going to be so beautiful! I can practically see it already! The only question will be if she’ll wait until they’re ready. Hence the rumoured spoiler of couples therapy.

 ... Evan should be the Buckley who’s on the receiving end of a proposal and we all know whose court I eventually want that ball in.

Over a year ago, I put out this theory that they’d utilized previous Buddie scenes as flashbacks to catch the general audience up if/when they ever get together, and a post by @mikereads just pointed out the show not only said “I see your theory,” and “I like your theory,” but also “I’ll set a precedent for your theory with Madney,” and, gaud damn it, do I have hope again?

Buck: Nah, it’s okay, you can get with Chim. I’ll marry Eddie.

Maddie: ... You don’t have to go that far.

Buck: No, I was going to, any way.

So, we all already know that Maddie’s in-love/bad-ass-under-pressure boyfriend and her ex-SEAL-trainee protective little brother will want to bust in there, but ...

... what about ex-army anger!issues Eddie (who Maddie has been increasingly sisterly to lately) when we’re going to have an “Eddie Begins” episode soon?

Me: I completely agree, and I appreciate this gift on their behalf, but you know who else are good people? Buck and Eddie and you don’t even have to give them a kid. They already have one who’s raising them.
