This is part of my „chilliverse“, which was born from this picture from my throne-series. Theres not a real story behind this, I just had some ideas about what could happen in the chilliverse.

I had a lot of time at my hands during the pandemic and this was my first try on a comic strip and it was an insane amount of fun.

Tech talk: I liked the coloring I tried on the throne-series, and for this comic I wanted to give a fast, dirty coloring a try. Which ended in me redoing everything just before I finished the last panel. I remember that moment very vividly xD

Meet Darth Vara.

You'll see more of him in the next time, because I gotta say, I absolutely got obsessed with this hot chilli pepper while drawing him, and he kept me company during lockdown.

I mean. Honestly...

Or is it just me?

The word "vara" is the Swedish verb for "to be". So I interpret it essentially as Dark Being/Dark Existence. I know there are so many awesome names for him out there and it's also hard to choose one that isn't "taken". But I've been going with this for four years now, so it's here to stay.

Also wondered a lot if should tag him Varaverse or Chilliverse. Chilliverse it is.

What is the chilliverse? Born from this artwork, it's an Reverse-Age-AU, with Jedi Knight Anakin and Sith-Padawan Obi-Wan / Darth Vara. There's not really a story behind this, I just have fun drawing some of my headcanons from this AU.

Chilliverse brainrot...

One of my favourites of these two. It looks so obvious what kind of relationship they have, but when you look a second time you can see that it is not what it seems.

What is the chilliverse? Born from this artwork, it's an Reverse-Age-AU, with Jedi Knight Anakin and Sith-Padawan Obi-Wan / Darth Vara. There's not a very detailed story behind this, just an overall concept and a lot of scenes I have in mind and need to draw.
