Had a good day at @allpointseastuk. It’s a weird d festival as it seems to be more about delivering customers for the sponsors than music for the fans. At least they got rid of the tall bars so the sound did not bounce around this time. @nickcaveofficial and the Bad Seeds were great. Nick is such a fantastic frontman. Loved this show. First time seeing @sleaford_mods and enjoyed them @thesmiletheband’s jazz tinged prog rock is good, but too many people were talking through their set and shouting for songs by Thom and Jonny’s other band Saw a few songs from @officialspzd, a little one dimensional @annacalvi was just great. Another first was seeing @tinariwen - interesting, must investigate further @starcrawler were enjoyable in the way that LA party rock is. Feel that they are 30-odd years late to be the stars of Decline of Western Civilisation Part 2, the Metal Years Also found @joanaspolicewoman worth a listen The reason I got to the festival early was to see @hurrayfortheriffraff and they did not disappoint. Last night 5/20/15 I saw the Palma Violets at the Bowery and it was such an incredible show.  Afterwards, I met Chilli, and he was such a sweetheart.  My friend, who was taking the picture, asked him why he was covering his beautiful face, and he said he was nervous. Then he proceeded to do this dracula pose or whatever and that was unexpected, but  he was cool. That didn’t matter, I was just so excited to meet him.  He made my night just taking the time to talk and take this picture. :)
