Both me and sis had been telling mum not to cook too many dishes at night since it is just the three of us eating but she never listens. So for dinner, there are Spicy Tiger Prawns with caramelised onions, crispy Fried Chicken Mid-Wings and two large steaks of Pan-Fried Batang (Spanish Mackerel). If I am the one cooking, I did keep the fish for another day.

#personal#you agree. reblog#mum asked whether i was coming home this evening just so i could do laundry or whether it was also to hang out or what#and i was like no it's to hang out! well i do need to laundry. but also i miss the hamster#he's sooooo cute#the temperatures are becoming actually chilly now and mum never has the heating on bc we're all used to freezing temperatures#which is weird for guests great for me but potentially harmful for the hamster#so we've been plotting ways to keep him warm this winter that mostly involve removing him from my badly insulated bedroom#he's just a little guy! a tiny little man with fur and a tissue-lined bed!! that simply can't suffice#i've been trying to think of ways i could give him his own heating but for now they mostly involve like. putting a handwarmer up#against the terrarium wall and stuff like that. not ideal

The dishes for Dinner are the roasted chicken and pork that mum bought for the morning prayer. The chicken is chopped up and roasted pork sliced then reheated. That hard-boiled egg is one of the red eggs that mum dyed, which I peeled and added some of the tangy chilli sauce for the roasted chicken along with a few slices of pickled daikon.

Since yesterday one of my teeth mysteriously hurts a bit when I chew/bite down on it and I don't understand it because I've literally just been to the dentist before coming here and everything was fine. I really hope it goes away on its own because I cannot deal with this right now.
