Ma Ledet is my OC for Once Upon a Witchlight, slowly expanding to be my next PC in a dnd game.

A Warlock of Manman Brigitte, she is known for performing at a select few bars and occasionally the brothel - singing and playing music. She learned from a very young age her talents, and uses them well.

Mother to one Kremy LeCroux, she is the one he got his flair for dramatics, as well as his more feminine behaviours - she encouraged him in his youth to play with her make up and jewellery, knowing the glittering gold was something he loved.

Being left alone by her husband and sons, she found her way in life, keeping on singing and performing, joining a book club and partaking in an adventure or two of her own. These days she's more interested in ensuring her house is pretty and keeping up with her Patron - making offerings and spilling gossip.

Until her favourite child shows up at her door, dressed to the nines and with a group of friends, upturning her peaceful days.

Sorry if it doesn't have that much yandere as you were hoping for.

Okay, so, the only way I can see that you could've gotten his attention is either you're related to one of the three human charges – family or friend. Because of that, you don't know about the Autobots and Decepticons.

Soundwave was given the mission to find out more about the human pets, through humans that are close to them. Out of all of their family and friends, he chose you.

He only went through some of your info, and you're a friend of Miko's host parents that lives in a state up north, in Gravity Falls, Oregon (Yes, I'm making a little crossover with GF, but TFP came out 2 years before Gravity Falls existed, so Weirdmageddon hasn't happened yet, nor have the Pine Twins visited yet.)

You've met Miko a few times when you've came to visit, and it's best to say you don't like how loud, irresponsible, foolish, and doesn't understand people's boundaries. You were a rather quiet introverted person, and she was an overbearing extrovert, so you two didn't mix well.

When it was Christmas last year, they were at your family gathering, and she almost got your cousins hurt with firecrackers, who were mainly toddlers and young children. She even said, quote-unquote, that "They needed to live a little and not have helicopter parents deciding everything for them." The thing was that your aunts and uncles weren't helicopter parents, they were normal, calm, and understanding parents!

Miko was one of the main reasons why you lost faith in humanity, and you despised her with a burning passion. You even told this to her in her face, but she would say that you're just grumpy and should take a nap. As if you were a little child that didn't know better!

You work as an online artist that takes request for people who can't draw certain things like, animals, details, DND characters, Oc's etc.

As time went on, he was starting to get obsessed with learning more about you, and he knows more about you than anyone else you know in your life. Your favorite animal are birds, your favorite color is d/s/f/c (Dark Shade of Favorite Color), you hate people, don't like talking, have a pet European Starling named Jermey, after the crow in the Secret of Nimh because of his love for shiny and sparkly things, who is also the model for your watermarks on your designs, you like dying your hair, and so much more.

You were having a normal day, doing a live stream as you were taking requests from your viewers, when this one person in particular to do a city made out of metal, the people are robots that can transform, and even gave you an image that they "made" that was called Kaon. Interested, you took up this challenge.

It was safe to say that Soundwave wasn't disappointed with the end results of it; It looked magnificent. The image of his home was nostalgic of the good old days of Cybertron, when it wasn't just him and Laserbeak, when all of his children minicons were still alive.

The two of you kept in contact and became friends on the internet. You would tell each other about how your days went; you were told that he works as one of the higher ups in a company, has to deal with an annoying, loud, arrogant assistant of his boss – reminds you of a certain someone –, has a pet bird, is introverted, doesn't talk, doesn't like humanity- you're already hooked.

You turned a blind eye to things, like how he somehow knows where you live, find out about private accounts on social media, knows that you're talking to someone even when there's barely any people around, kind of seeming jealous/overprotective over text. The hardest one to do is when someone insults or steals your art, only to end up severely or lightly wounded somewhere between the next day to the end of the week, saying that a robot version of Slenderman or a metal bird that has an origami themed shape, etc.

There were a few things that caught your attention. How he uses the wrong terminology for things such as units time, parts of the body, even saying organics, fleshies, humans instead of people or others by their names. You were suspicious but brushed it off every time it happens.

At the beginning of Soundwave's his sire growing obsession, Laserbeak didn't even understand what was so great about you. But it changed when he was shot down by Autobots and landed out in the woods, you found him, and repaired him. During his stay, he made friends with Jeremy, and during repairs, you were gentle as you could be when fixing him up, your touched were light, you asked if what you were doing was alright, and he honestly thought of those human films where the mother would help their child when they get an injury. In this situation, he was your the child, and you were his the mother; he understood now.

Knowing Laserbeak's existence was the reason why it was a little hard to turn a blind eye to those that were injured.

When Laserbeak returned, he gave the information to Soundwave, and that's when Soundwave knew that you were the one to complete the family.

When the both of you actually met face-to-face is when you texted him that an ex of yours came back is so persistent on getting back together and won't leave you alone. When it was night, your ex cornered you, and was ranting on and on about how you should be grateful that he's giving you a second chance, even though you were the one to break up with him, only to end up dead on the pavement. You looked up to see Soundwave himself.

The first thought that came to mind didn't revolve around fear. No! It was 'Oh, god, he looks hot-'

So, you were taken aboard the Nemesis, you became a part of the Con Crew. 1.) Because you're close, in a way, to one of the Autobot's human pets; 2.) You hated humans just as much as they did; 3.) It's Soundwave. Megatron trusts him with any decision of his. A reason Soundwave gave, in public? A human to spy on the Autobots- Shut the fuck up random Vehicon, this is a human spy, not Makeshift. This isn't like Starscream's plan.

This happened only a day after Optimus Prime became Orion Pax. Soundwave had a feeling that something might happen, so he had you wear something that will cover up everything, mainly your head/face. He knows the archivist is smart, and if he were to revert back to Optimus, then he would recognize who you are.

Often times, some Vehicons would make comments about a human joining the ranks, or try to get rid of you, and they were met with an electric end.

It was only about a week later, after Orion became Optimus again, when they decided how they were going to get you in their base, and with the help of the newly arrived Dreadwing, they can do just that.

OC A-Zs / OC Alphabet

I was tagged by @someone-elsa to show off one of my sims for each letter of the alphabet. (Fancy graphic optional, but I love playing in photoshop too much not to make a little graphic.) I could have made this a lot easier by including other characters that I've made sims of (Yasha and Nocticula, for example) but I decided to be strict about it and stick to my own OCs/sims. Surprising to absolutely no one, it ended up being very heavy on the D&D characters, though a decent number of RTQ/ATQH characters (the ones that I created) made it onto the list.

A - Avra Shadowbreath [D&D]

(she/her) My shadar-kai/reborn phantom rogue from my ongoing Curse of Strahd campaign. Devout worshipper of the Raven Queen, and a massive hypocrite. Kind of a bitch sometimes. Legally and biologically dead. Also a werewolf now.

B - Byron Lockwood [D&D NPC]

(he/him) Rook's least interesting half-brother. The "forgotten" middle child of Lord Alistair and Lady Evangeline Lockwood. Extremely boring. Only Lockwood brother with a job (and shockingly he's not terrible at it). The worst combo of all your shitty bosses.

C - Carrion Vice [D&D]

(he/him) My second-favorite OC at the moment. Biologically a tiefling but mechanically a beasthide shifter. Path of the Fractured barbarian. Transforms into a fucked-up monster when he rages. In an ongoing Dungeons of Drakkenheim campaign.

(she/her) The palace healer at the royal palace of Anvia, near Carisfell. The sweetest person you'll ever meet, but will ask you to please take care of yourself. (A hard ask if you're Fallon, apparently.)

(they/them) Tiefling hexblade warlock. Captain of the smuggling ship the Devil's Scorn. Hired by the Vanguard to chase down Captain Wolf in order to rescue Rook after he was kidnapped. (Aka, my temporary character when he was gone.) Former gang member. Criminal with strict morals. Has more common sense than the entire Vanguard put together. Still isn't entirely sure whether or not they regret taking this job.

W - Wymond of Oryn [RTQ/ATQH]

(he/him) Fallon's biological father. Member of a low-level noble house from the neighboring kingdom of Oryn. A lying, traitorous piece of shit who is directly responsible for the death of Fallon's mother. The only thing he and Fallon have in common is their eyes.

X - Xavier Blackthorne [RTQ/ATQH]

(he/him) Fallon's emotional father, even though she would deny this. Her mother's personal guard before her death, now the captain of Fallon's guard. The nicest man you'll ever meet. Has a habit of collecting strays. No biological kids, but the strongest dad energy in all of Anvia.

Z - Zenara "Zen" Raventhorn [D&D]

(they/them) Tiefling fiend warlock. The first dnd character I ever played. An accidental result of my Mighty Nein obsession. Occasionally gets possessed by their patron and wakes up in the middle of a mess with surprise new powers as an "apology".

I'll answer them below a page break just in case I go on too much! Again, I really really appreciate the opportunity of getting into her headspace, and I love the prompts!

1. Gold or Silver: she'll take what she's given

Tobiuo wears surgical steel in her webbed ears, dark onyx in colour. They were a gift from her captain, along with being the one she asked to pierce them for her. She hasn't been convinced to change them since he gave them to her.

2. Favourite Color: luminescent purple

Living in the lower depths exposed her to varying degrees of color The Above aren't regularly exposed to. She has vague memories of her past, but the purple is what she truly remembers.

3. Family and Pets: the Heart Pirates

She is not aware of any living relatives. Her lapse in memory from surviving the shipwreck carrying her to Sabaody Archipelago wiped all history from her mind. She does remember having petulant spats in her youth, but can't put a face to the memory. Her found family is her crew. She sees Jean-Bart as a grumpy uncle, Shachi and Penguin as younger brothers, Ikkaku as a close cousin, and Bepo as her baby brother.

Law is her Captain, and she respects him with every fiber of her being. At the smallest click of his tongue, and the phrase: "Show me something," or "Time to go to work," she'll immediately smile darkly and ready herself for combat for him.

When she thinks too hard on it, she may come to realise the purple color correlates with fins where feet should linger. A sibling, a cousin, a friend: she knows not, but they're lingering just below the surface.

4. A Devil Fruit: absolutely not

Her job is to protect her captain. Who would retrieve him if he's pulled into deep water? As a Fishman, she enjoys the ability to swim. There is no way she'd allow the ocean to take that from her.

5. Cold or Hot: Hot

Tobiuo is cold-blooded, enjoying warmth when it pricks at her skin. She doesn't really sweat, something Shachi and Bepo are greatly jealous of in warmer weather.

6. Favourite childhood game: grappling

She really enjoys expressing herself physically. Her friendship comes from a trial by fire: demonstrating her strength by wrestling with her polar-bear mink crewmate. Jean-Bart can keep up with her going fist to fist, but he has no real desire to engage with her like this. When she meets up with the Kid-Pirates, she thoroughly enjoys how physical they are with one another. Arm-wrestling is her love language, one that Kid and Killer greatly enjoy testing in her.

Notes: her strength comes from being a Fishman and originating at the ocean floor. The pressure difference adds to her already heightened strength in the air - which is the reason behind her and her people's mutism. Her lungs can't handle it, but her physical abilities enjoy the pressure change.

7. Hobbies: Dance

Coming with expressing herself physically is the need to make her body move. She makes a point of learning a local style of dance at the ports the Tang docks at. The most receptive crewmates to join with her is Shachi and Penguin. Shachi is often called to act as translator for her sign, a task he enjoys doing. Where the rest of the crew enjoy letting off steam with karaoke, Tobiuo enjoys dancing.

8. Alignment: complicated

While I would say she is more chaotic-good leaning, her loyalty towards captain is almost in line with Lawfulness (oh my gosh, what a horrible pun). She would cast aside her own desires to do "good" if Law asked her to. She is not fond of hurting people, but will at the bequest of her captain.

9. Favourite Food: texture-focussed

She has a barbed tongue and jagged teeth, her sense of taste not really in line with what her warm-blooded crewmates experience. She enjoys spice and texture. Sichuan pepper corns are one of her favorites, specifically for the herbal tingles it leaves on each of the divots and ridges of her tongue. She also prefers her meat as close to raw as she can get it.

10. Favourite Thing: her webbing

Ears, fingers, toes and shoulders. She enjoys their functionality for swimming in her natural environment, but also enjoys wearing clothes outside her boiler suit to accentuate them. Dressing in civilian attire, she will often dress to expose them more.

5. What are some of your OCs biggest fears?

Fallon's biggest fear is losing someone she loves, again. She's lost her mother, any chance she had at her father being a good man, she loses Lavinia over the course of the story... She's terrified of losing any of the precious few people who make her feel happy and safe. Kristopher's biggest fear is that he'll never escape his family, never get to live his own life, never get to be happy. By extension, he fears being sent back to Oryn against his will. Rook's biggest fear is his friends getting hurt because of him, again. This is actually going to come up next session, but he feels as though he's to blame for a lot of pain and suffering the people he loves have experienced. On top of that, he fears not being able to protect his friends. He would gladly give his life for any of them, and the idea of being helpless to protect them is terrifying. Oh, and he also has claustrophobia. Carrion fears being seen as a monster. He fears someone seeing his transformation and killing him for it. He's already lived through perhaps his worst fear (the people he loved and who loved him turning on him and leaving him for dead, calling him a monster), so he's not sure it's possible for worse to happen. He's avoided getting close to people for years to avoid the chance of it happening again. He also fears being used as an experiment, a lab rat, a test subject to study the effects of Delirium. The Knights tried a dozen ways to cure him, and now that he's come to see his transformations as a part of himself, he sees anyone who wants to take them away as a threat to him, no matter how pure their intentions. (And he's not wrong...)

6. Do you have any OCs without stories? Will you ever create one for them?

Not really. I have potential dnd characters who do not have a home campaign yet, but when it comes to actual writing ocs, they usually come along with a project. I usually either get the idea first and then the characters, or the characters and idea come hand-in-hand. My favorite of the dnd character concepts, though, is a Archfey Warlock / Glamour Bard who got Pied Piper'd into the Feywild as a child and has no memory of any of it. As far as they're concerned, their life started the moment they appeared in the woods on the Material Plane with no memories at all. They named themself after the first thing they saw (an aspen tree), and went on from there. Their patron, the god of death, is manipulating them from a distance, guiding their path with a "broken" compass that hangs around their neck. I love them so much, and I really hope the campaign they were meant to be a part of happens someday.

16. What was you first major project? How far along is it?

I talked about this in my most recently answered ask, here, but it was ATQH. Well, that was my first serious project, and the first one I really count when I think about my writing. The first creative writing project of any kind I can remember working on was a story about a man cursed with immortality thousands of years ago who has been part of several major world events over the course of his lifetime. I started writing it when I was maybe 12 or so, and from what I remember he accidentally caused the Black Plague, and in its aftermath he found this kid and took care of her, and they were rescuing animals from dead peoples' houses?? And I think where I left off he had just gotten kidnapped by his evil brother to get tortured, I think. I know there were older writing projects before that, but I have no memory of them. I do know that in 3rd grade I wrote, by hand, a 50+ page summary of everything I knew about the sinking of the Titanic. (It was my special interest at the time.) But that wasn't exactly fiction writing.

Absolute Ray of Sunshine; Rhys is from Icewind Dale; more specifically the Nomadic Reghed Tribe of the Elk.

He's unfamiliar with the outside world and even includes settlements in his own country

He's a Himbo basically a big dog.

This campaign lead him to leaving his tribe for the first time after an unfortunate accident which turned him into a small 'painted child' and searching for his missing sister. (both these are sorted now!)

*Rhys found an old oil painting of this child, blacked out and next thing he knew he was that small elf child. Her skin and clothing having the texture of painted canvas, and bleeds paint.

For a good chunk of the campaign he was just a totally normal elf- whose shadow didn't match with the body

It's my birthday! By tradition I was just posting my Dr Stone rarepair. But this year I couldn't do that, instead, I prefer to show you my DnD character.

Meet Hokkaido, the half-elf sorcerer. I just have him made since middle school and just adapted him for the game. The DM allowed it despite some stuff of him seem weird to fit.

To be honest, I wasn't that sure about playing DnD with my bestie and their friends. But it's been fun and I'm always excited for the next session.

Also... I don't know if it's just me and my subconscious, but Hokkaido is a middle school OC I made along with others and by that time I started to read Bleach for the first time...

I don't know if that influenced my DnD remake to make him a creature of many races combined.

Ah and I also made him in pencil colors along with the arsonist kid: Katsuyoshi. And that's another thing, those two can't be separated, I made them to be a duo for comical situations.

---SOOP NO READING THIS ONE SPOILERS FOR THE CAMPAIGN The first one is for an active campaign, her name is Alina (cant remember if she has a last name.) Her story is basically, she was abandoned at this wizard/scholar/tower thing and was looked after by like the teachers and who ever. but when she turned 16, she was ousted from the tower because, unknown to her until the moment she was ousted was that she was believed to be the child of a prophecy (THE prophecy, but Ill get back to that). When she was 16 somehow it was revealed she was not the child of the prophecy, Oh also I forgot to mention she's a half elf sorcerer, but she thinks shes a full elf sorcerer. The reasons this is is because she was abandoned by her parents at the school tower thingy *because* her father believes that her mother slept with a human and i.e half elf. Her parents are these really rich nobles. We met them in session 2 of our campaign, and thats when she realised they were her parents because before that she had no clue. After being ousted ffrom the tower shes just been roming the country, until she eventual stumbles upon the other memebrs of our party where they reluctantly work together, first because they were hired for a mission by the barkeep, and now because theres something more sinister afoot with politicians nad shit. Theres more to be explored, but we havent played too much of it but im so so excited too . (The reasons soops not allowed to read it is because it has secrets that she doesnt know). Oh yeah The propechy is like a propechy about waro r somehting and my character was supposed to be the key to stopping it but no longer because they are no longer the propechy child. at the time of the story they are 18. They are heavily inspired by Aelwin Abernathy from D20's Bad Kids campaign (cannot remember what its called) For drawing them, heres a refrence! (i drew this >:DD)

---Soop you can read now. My next character is one for the campaign soop is dming!! It hasnt started yet but im really excited! My character is a tabaxi rogue. They're 19 if I remember correctly. Their lore is more dependent on the worl around them. Basically they were apart of the religion blah blah blah in the religion there was this guy (woman) called the Head Scholar, whose like the pope. They were an apprentice under the Head Scholar and basically the head scholar was/is experimenting on how to cure this disease/make spirits so they killed and revived my character! and a bunch of other people, but after my character was killed and revived they ran away. This was when they were 16. I think? And they also had a found family (that they found after running away) that were taken/killed by the Head Scholar as a way to get my character back. Their name is Tabi, with no last name. Since the campaign hasnt started yet they havent met the rest of the party. THey dont stay in one area too long as they are being sort of chased by the Head Scholar, more details to be added when the campaign starts/if Soop tells me more stuff. Refrence for them under neath, wich i also drew!

Do you guys have OCs you've never been able to let go of?

Like most art kids I spent most of my time living in a different world than the one I was in. Much of that time too was in worlds I created with friends; that's what started my love of collaboration. None of the worlds I had were just mine, which led to learning how to communicate and share ideas with other people.

As I got older and make-believe became 'childish' I kept these stories and built upon them. Still with the same friends (I've been lucky to have friends I've known since childhood), but our stories became secret. Texting about them, using online messaging to keep an ongoing RP, or even notebooks that we'd pass back and forth in between classes.

Sharing my OCs was scary. I loved them, but was afraid of the societal perception of still having 'imaginary friends.' Then I pursued art, more specifically animation. Animation is FULL of artists who have OCs that turn into incredible shows, and even looking back on characters like Superman, or Spiderman, or the Looney Toons, those are all characters that someone 'made up' and had a connection with.

However, that didn't mean I was comfortable. For one, what if my characters were 'bad?' and two, all of my characters have been attached to stories with friends who are not in art. I'd be taking credit for something they created. It has always been difficult to let that side of the conversation fade.

My decision doesn't have to be to stop though. There is nothing wrong with giving credit and moving forward. It's just the same as getting commissioned to draw someone's DND character or getting hired to work as a vis dev artist and saying what the project is for!

Plus I've always been touched when someone remembers my OCs or shows interest in them. I also believe that if I am thinking about these worlds and how much they mean to me, how can I possibly believe that my friends don't feel the same sometimes? Just as we miss being able to run around and play princesses, or treasure hunters, I think my friends feel the nostalgia of worlds we build with complex political systems, magic, love, friendship, and ultimately play. As adults though, we find ourselves pressured to forget trivial things like that.

The older I get, the more I take pride in my stories, that I never gave up on them. That even though my friends aren't in art, they can see that they too can be creative.

With DND and the rise of things like Dimension 20 and Critical Role, I think it's becoming less stigmatized to have OCs again. I wonder how many people will go back to childhood memories and dust off a box to open it up and lend a hand in pulling out an old friend or two they thought was lost forever as soon as they filled out their taxes the first time.

As for me and this drawing: this is @queenofthetemplars OC and mine, with their daughter (also mine) playing what I assume to be a game of Rummy.

The thought of the three of them playing, Kaori (the child) and her dad (Shikaku) being the two actual players while her mother (Luna) initially sits out, only to look over her daughter's shoulders to help Kaori beat her calm, collective dad was heart warming to me. I initially drew 3-4 versions of this sketch at various angles because the perspective wasn't working. Finally deciding that instead of Luna looking fondly at the two of them playing I could have more narrative with her backseat playing.

I've been trying to challenge myself more with perspective and foreshortening, especially with character interaction, as my favorite art pieces tend to be narrative driven. Hopefully I'll have the courage to post more of these in the future.

What's the origin of your blog title? "Vol'jin Deserves Better" comes from my belief that the character, Vol'jin deserves a better outcome than he got. Sure they may bring him back, but he was just kinda sloughed off like rotten bark, and it pissed me the fuck off ):

OTP(s) + Shipname: Jayvik and Zaundads. (That's Jayce x Viktor and Silco x Vander both from Arcane) I don't think I had a pairing before that I was as invested in as I am with Jayvik, so I can't really say I've ever had OTPs before this, in a more serious way (I have bought fanmerch for Jayvik which I have never done before)

Favorite color: Emerald Green and Turquoise

If you work, what's your profession? I'm unemployed currently due to a disability.

If you could have any job you wish, what would it be? I'd really like to be a clown, actually. Like a professional birthday clown, someone with whimsy and silliness maximum. Alternatively, I'd like to be a historian with a focus on Folk Religion and Folk Art!

Something you're good at: Hyperfixation Research/Special Interest Diving. Once I get my hooks in something, there are no lengths that will stop me to learn information if it pertains to my special interest or current hyperfixation. I recently spent 6 hours learning about Applied Probability and Materials Sciences because I assign Viktor Mathematical Engineer and Jayce as an Engineering Physicist for Modern AU jobs. :I That information lives in my brain now.

What were you like as a child? Unruly. I was diagnosed with ADHD and Aspergers as a child. (Really unusual for AFABs to be diagnosed, but I was. I was 11!)

Favorite subject at school? History. I was always good with that.

Least favorite subject: Maths. I'm TERRIBLE at math.

What's your best character trait? I had to phone-a-friend for this one (Thanks Figaroni!) She says I'm a passionate and excitable person!

What's your worst character trait? I can be immensely negative about circumstances or if I can't find a solution to a problem, I can shutdown and become critical of the situation. Additionally, I get frustrated easily too and deal with what's called Low Frustration Tolerance. This is common for people with ADHD!

If you could change any detail of your life right now, what would it be? I would change out my GI tract for a functional one so I'm not stuck not going out and not doing things as often due to GI problems.

If you could travel in time, who would you like to meet? I'd like to meet Mozart, I think!

your ask made me realize......i don't know any of your ocs (outside of RPG protags). tell me about them please? 👀

ok i'm putting this under a read more because it's slightly embarrassing but not enough for me to not post it. i am also insecure about my drawerings. i'm working on it.

Ok so the only actual original ocs i have are revamped versions of ocs i had based off of toys when i was like 11. yeah... i'm owning it.... quarantine was a time for all of us. i used to have dnd ocs as i wrote my own campaign but they've been abandoned as a result of a messy falling out.

anyway these were like a branch off of a game my sister and our friends used to play when i was like 6 like a 2nd generation type of deal though that's only relevant for one oc. the premise is basically i had toy dragons when i was a kid and i was like "yeah they can shapeshift into humans" because that's the coolest shit when your 12. And when you're in your twenties and mentally ill you make it Serious.

so now it's like a humans hunted dragons so they didn't really come out of hiding but society is a'changing... there aren't a lot of not-shapeshifting dragons left.

it's not very thought out but dragon hybrids as i call them until i think of a better name (i won't) are split into 3 groups of views -

1) coexistence (main guys are here) 2) resent humans, either cannot shift or are ashamed of their human form. They either hide from humans or, if they have the means to, attack humans. They value pureblood dragons and strength. Because of this, they abandon runts and outcast shifters with a human parent. 

3) believe in coexisting with humans, but believe their ability to command two forms puts them above non-shifters, so they should be ruling over them. Some humans agree and have devoted themselves to serving these shifters.

Also these guys go by 2nd names because humans can't pronounce the guttural dragon language sounds (this is my explanation for my less than creative naming system at 12). I also made like physical logistics for their human appearance but we don't need to get into that rn

this is Dramill [dray-mill] (he/him) which child Carly made up as a combination of Draco + Windmill (the toy had a tail that has a webbed bit, looks like a windmill thing, whatever). He is a water dragon (fresh water variant). His bio-family hates humans, he ran away as a teenager and accidentally became a leadership figure for coexistence after finding his found family during his run-away-teen-travels.

He discovered healing powers for water-elemental dragons, he is basically green Katara, except Dramill sacrifices his energy to heal the person. Minor injuries don’t take much out of him. The worse the injury, the harder it is on him. If rushed, it is harder on him.

The first two members of Dramill's found family are Flame (left, she/her) and Smokey (right, he/him). They are twins and both raging homosexuals. If you couldn't guess, they are fire elemental dragons. Dramill found them after their mother was killed by humans and they were attacked a few weeks later.

Flame: Cold exterior, aloof, nonchalant nature, but has a good heart underneath. Too cool for you. Has tattoo sleeves on both arms, nose stud on the right nostril to match her twin's, undercut on the right side.

Smokey: Sarcastic, covers feelings with humor. Has several piercings: multiple ear piercings, double eyebrow piercing on the right side, nose stud on left nostril, nipple piercings, and a stud tongue piercing. All gold colored.

Last two members of Dramill's found family are Frost (left, he/him) and Iceberg (right, any pronouns). Biological siblings and, you guessed it, ice dragons. Iceberg was abandoned by their parents for being a runt; Frost followed his father on a hunch and refused to abandon Iceberg, so he was also disowned. Frost took care of Iceberg on his own until Dramill, Flame, and Smokey found them.

Frost: somewhat introverted and slow to trust others. Fiercely loyal and protective.

Iceberg: Not very good at fighting, doesn't particularly enjoy doing it. Has a lot of confidence interacting with humans.

Okay our first human this is the one i was talking about who is the daughter of Baby's First OC and her preexisting character husband. If you can figure out who the preexisting character is I might have to delete my blog. This is Mary (she/her) she is the daughter of a big name CEO and is set to inherit the company. Mary is confident and smart, which she has to be as she's somewhat famous. She stumbled across Dramill squatting in the forest that technically belongs to her father and eventually befriends the whole squad. She uses her influence to promote coexistence between dragons and humans.

And yeah, Frost is her love interest, this ship has been canon for like 15 years and now it's actually thought out dynamic wise

Next is Chadsworth (right, he/him) who was made as a joke character for 12 year old me but now actually has character traits. Early on his whole deal was he had a massive one-sided crush on Mary and was like obsessed with her. That still kind of happened but he was like 13 and is ashamed about it.

He grew up very poor and later entered the foster program. It was Not Great and he ran away, briefly living on the streets until he befriended a girl who was taking culinary lessons from a woman with fairly-successful catering company. The woman let him stay and he was very helpful with cleaning and chores; when he got a little older she paid him so now he cleans for a living. Chadsworth met Mary when she and her mom were picking up and order. They became friends, but Chadsworth soon developed an unhealthy crush on her-- that was less a crush and more idolization and envy of her life, but he wouldn't unpack this for several years. Frost fuckin' hates him because of this. Chadsworth later apologized to her and Frost but it doesn't matter Frost despises him.

As the picture gives away his love interest is Smokey which is a more recent development (thanks, the sims)

Last one this is JunTae (they/them) who was not in the childhood toys and made semi-recently. I was messing around in the sims... They weren't made to be Dramill's love interest but stumbled into that role. They are a shadow dragon from the forests around Korea (hence the name) who was born into a clan that hates humans. They didn't know any other way until their clan was fighting Dramill and them and Frost beat them up almost real bad until Dramill stopped him; Dramill healed them and they saw their found family dynamic and was like ??? They're like you know if you want to leave like look us up we'll help you, think about it, and eventually they did. Iceberg picked out the name JunTae

JunTae used to be scared of humans and is now curious to learn but still cautious. Good friends with Dramill and Iceberg. Self-conscious and anxious but wants to help. Calls Dramill "Millie" and is the only one allowed to (because Dramill's got a big fat crush on them)

Clipped Wings - Dragon Age Veilguard Fic

Following the adventures of Mirenna "Rook" de Riva, Clipped Wings is a slow burn Rookanis fic taking place right before the events of Veilguard up until the final scene, fates willing. Follow Renn's journey and adventure through the growing pains of an occupied Antiva and contesting with the elven gods from her discarded past!

It's up to 6 full chapters now! Currently on a bit of a break while I write more, replay the game for fresher scenes, and ensure the quality and plot are up to snuff. The Sound of Your Voice - Baldur's Gate 3 Fic

It was supposed to be a quiet morning, but a short, bitter exchange between Astarion and Shadowheart has Tav paying just a little too much attention to how words are shared.

Emera has gifted him power and purpose, but when you can't remember the price you paid for it, how good can the adventure be?

Anathema is a high elf wizard. Well, she will be. She’s only scraping by because Wizard 101 was a mandatory class during her secondary school years. She’s about 350 years old, just discovered her scumbag politician husband has been covering up his affairs by trading his mistresses souls to a devil in exchange for political influence. Naturally, she found a contract with her name on it as well. The poor thing was running away when the Mindflayer’s caught her.

She’s an archivist who keeps plants as a hobby. Deathly afraid of any and all animals. 10/10 stands on chairs when she sees a mouse. Naturally she’s romancing Halsin.

Epione is a grown up street rat. Unbeknownst to her, she’s a cambion born from Mephistophole’s latest plot to overthrow Azmodeus. He’s trying to collect a whole bunch of divine soul sorcerer’s for some nefarious reasons, and ended up making an elite force of off spring in the process. There are 7, naturally based off the seven deadly sins. She doesn’t know much about where she came from, but she’s trying her best. This is an insanely condensed version of the story XD. Chaotic little cinnamon roll, wild magic sorcerer who’s going to eventually get a few levels of bard so that she can have vicious mockery and cutting word.

Epi is about 226. She’s intended to be the chaotic good that balances out Astarion’s chaotic bad.

Neriah is the answer to the question “what if Molly Weasley were a dnd character.” She’s happily married, the mother of 8 children, and a crochet connoisseur. Legally adopting all the companions. Being kidnapped by Mindflayers has provided her the first day off she’s had in 26 years. She began looking at it like a bit of a vacation. Up until she realized she’d have her hands full just as badly with the companions, if not worse considering she raised her children with manners. She’s a paladin, and I’ve yet to decide if she’s going to be oath of devotion (with the oath being focused on her returning to her children) or oath of vengeance (with it being focused on ripping off the heads of those who thought they could separate her from her kids.)
