We want to give a shout out to our friends at Bob's Biddies Hatchery,LLC in our neighboring state of Georgia. We ordered some True Dominique (Dominecker) chicks from them a few years back and have always had an interest in their meat birds. We called and left a message today and within an hour they returned our call. We had a fine conversation with them and found out those tornadoes that went through Georgia yesterday touched down near them in Ray City. Thank God they didn’t have any damage to speak of, just debris from limbs etc. Well, we wanted to order from them again and they were happy to fit us in as returning customers in spite of the large increase of orders they have. These folks are friendly and kind. Also, they have a grandson who is a Warrant Officer stationed at Parris Island. Bob nearly lost his sight years ago and his wife gave him 2 second hand incubators as she said”to give him something to do after retirement“. Bob and his wife Diane have a wonderful, family hatchery that has grown and they are always ready to help out! We placed our order and look forward to raising some more fine meat birds for our community. Also, Bob’s Biddies is featured in this article “AgrAbility Georgia OffersAssistance and Hope for Farm Workers With Disabilities”. Tony attended the National Agribility Conference in 2019 as a Veteran with Disabilities to bring back information to our community.
