Summary:

There’s the smallest of sounds - a mere rustle of fabric that could be mistaken for the wind. But Charles is up in the blink of an eye, his sword in hand and expertly poised against the throat of the intruder.

The Crown Prince of Spain stares back at him, his hands raised in surrender. His expression seemingly doesn��t match the situation, his deep, brown eyes sparkling with mischief and his full lips pulling into a familiar grin.

He still remembers the first time he spurted flowers in his hair. Every little detail is still etched into his mind and the feelings he felt alongside with it happening, although, they were muted in comparison to the pain that was prevailing.

Or: Charles is a half-dryad and he blooms flowers in his hair, but only people who sincerely love him can see it

as a fellow vers charlos (yes both of em) truther I loved it!! I think this week definitely was a "charles needs control back" kind of week and it fit soooo so so well.

God the whole - I don't want to be around people but actually it will help dilemma. Felt, hard felt!

Carlos raced, and hung out with Lando, and called his mamá regularly and listened to his father when he gave him advice, and brought his sisters to the races when he could, and talked to people, and exercised, and fucked a pretty girl or a pretty boy occasionally, when it was safe to do so, and did everything right, and did not feel like he was drowning; not even a little; not at all.

"Carlos?" Charles’ mouth fell open. "What are you - uh, no, sorry, uh. Hi?" Charles said sheepishly, and Carlos couldn't help but laugh.

"Hello," Carlos said, and Charles smiled at him, and Carlos thought He isn't a boy anymore, not really. "It is nice to see you again."

Part One is out now, because we lack Charlos content in this fandom, and I will hit you with this monster brick to remedy that. Let me know what you think :)
