A New World Everyday- Anyone who knows me knows I love a good adventure. As a child though, an sometimes still, I was left feeling that there was very little left to explore. The continents had all been found, the oceans named and crossed in every direction. Before the age of Google, and especially for a kid, it was hard to hear news of new animal discoveries so I readily assumed we had found pretty much all of those too. But every now and then, I’m watching a documentary or out at a park or beach and I struck with wonder. I take a deep breath of excitement and I remember that there is so much more out there to find! This is an ever changing landscape and the forest someone walked through a ten years ago can be radically different than the one in the same location you will walk through next week. The hills change. Rivers change. The places people live and work change. We live on a planet that’s core melts what gets pushed into it and creates new shit elsewhere, which I know is more large scale than most humans may get to experience but it still means that there is ever something new! And even better, now everyone can document it! You can be your own adventures photojournalist and share your experiences, and we all can grow. I hope you take some time next year to be adventurer. To explore some wondrous part of our Earth. I hope you find something beautiful, and something new. i grow increasingly suspicious  of the frenzied creature which has unearthed within,  and out, 

of me.
