i’m sorry for not being on the past two days or so, my job is super physically demanding and really drains me out, ugh. tomorrow i work a double shift and then i have to start studying for midterms, but hopefully i can get some replies in on monday at least !!

hello everyone, i’m mel !! also known as joey hansen ( aaron tveit fc ), here to introduce my new character, malosi who more commonly goes as ‘mal’ or ‘si’.

he was born in moata’a on the island of upolu in samoa to a samoan dad, a high chief and english/scottish mother, a fiction author. mal is an only child, who was raised in auckland, nz. he’s v independent, one could argue that trait’s a result of growing up with little interaction w children his own age outside of school.

he’s always been p shy and reserved ?? v much an introvert, into spending time with music or surrounded by books over people. his parents encouraged their sensitive empath li’l boy, and he’s glad for it!

 despite what some might call the ‘wrong’ personality for sport, malosi freakin’ loved it !! he especially enjoyed football, but unfortunately had to give up after injury ( patella dislocation and other issues that arose. ) this is also somewhat prevalent today, he still encounters some problems esp with stairs and sitting for too long. ( sucks when u spend hours in seminars right ?? )

speaking of seminars, mal is studying to become a music therapist at illinois state because he loves music + helping people and when he heard of it, he fell in love w the job !! plays guitar and violin, is currently teaching himself violin.

if asked abt it, will probably say he’s pansexual but honestly could not give a F less about labels or who he dates/falls in love w. which probably happens a lot because everyone’s pretty and it’s great.

still v shy, but impossibly sweet. like i said, always wants to help people, l o v e s listening to people, no matter what they have to say. 

talk to him abt books or music, or offer to go for coffee w him and he’ll be the happiest pup you’ll ever encounter. HMU for plots and shiz!!

both her parents carved out v successful careers for themselves. her father is a neurosurgeon and her mother is the senior software engineer for walt disney studios in burbank

is fluent in korean and french

has eidetic memory

decided to leave the west coast after high school and attended boston university for undergrad and went to mit for grad school with a degree in computer science

only moved to chicago 2 years ago, so basically after grad school and has a job as a software system developer
