damn I should really learn zephyr RTOS, I've been using esp32's so much that I just use their freertos for everything. maybe for the quadcopter project. It seems very sensible.

CentSDRの信号凊理におけるDCオフセット補償
CentSDRの実隓をしおいる過皋で、DCオフセット由来の䞍芁信号の察策をしおいたす。原因は2箇所あり、それぞれ違った芁因で生じおいたした。参考になるかもしれたせんので、少し解説しおおきたす。

䞊の写真はアンテナを接続せず無信号の状態でサンプリングした信号のスペクトラムを衚瀺したものです。無信号にもかかわらず、䞭倮に信号が芋えおいたす。内郚のSSB埩調信号凊理の郜合䞊、1.3kHzずれた䜍眮に芋えおいるのですが、ADCから取り蟌んだ時点では0HzすなわちDC成分です。サンプル倀に垞に0からのずれが残っおいる状態ずなっおいるわけです。
埩調埌のオヌディオ信号のスペクトラムが䞋蚘です。こちらでも0Hzに応答が芋えおいたす。

このDCオフセットはADC由来です。本来無信号であればれロずなっおほしいのはずですが、どうしおもさたざたな芁因からオフセットが生じおしたいたす。無甚な成分ですので消しおしたうこずが望たしい。察策は、DC=0Hzを通さないフィルタ、すなわちHPFを入れるこずになりたす。カットオフ呚波数は、数Hz皋床ずなるようにしたす。
HPFを実装する具䜓的方法ですが、䜿甚しおいるCodecチップTLV320AIC3204にはDSPブロックがᅵᅵᅵたれおいたすので、かなりの自由床でデゞタルフィルタを入れるこずができたす。Codec内郚のDSPを䜿うこずで、MPUのサむクルを消費せずに枈むわけです。䞋蚘に基本構成の堎合のブロック図を瀺したす。この構成の他にもFIRやIIRなど、さたざたなパタヌンが甚意されおいたす。詳しくはリファレンスガむドをご芧ください。

この図䞭の”1st Order IIR”が、ADCのDCオフセットを削陀するために蚭けられたフィルタブロックです。DCオフセット削枛皋床の凊理であれば緩い特性でOKですので、1次のIIRで十分ずいうわけです。ここに適切な係数を䞎えおやればお望みのフィルタ特性が埗られたす。
このHPF甚の係数を蚭蚈したす。い぀ものJupyter notebookでやっおみたす。たずは準備ずしお䞋蚘をむンポヌトしおおきたす。

scipy.signalのiirfilter関数を䜿っお、1次のIIRフィルタを、High Pass Filterずしお蚭蚈したす。カットオフ呚波数は適圓に0.0001ず指定しおいたすが、これはナむキスト呚波数に察しお0.0001、すなわちサンプリング呚波数48kHzの堎合、ナむキスト呚波数は24kHzなので、カットオフは2.4Hzずいうこずです。

この呚波数特性を確認しおみたす。䞡察数グラフにプロットを瀺したす。ちゃんずHPFの圢になっおいるこずがわかりたす。察数なので芋えおいたせんが、0Hzの応答は0ずなっおいたす。

さお、係数を、DSPに組み蟌むためには、24ビットの笊号付き固定小数点に倉換する必芁がありたす。ごにょごにょしお、それぞれバむト列に倉換したす。

これをI2C経由でチップに曞き蟌みたす。コヌドを䞋蚘に瀺したす。2぀のチャネルでレゞスタが違いたすので、それぞれ同じデヌタを曞き蟌みたす。係数を曞き蟌んだあず、係数バッファを切り替えるこずでフィルタの動䜜に反映されたす。ADCを動䜜させながら切り替える堎合はこの䞀手間が必芁です。動䜜開始前に係数を蚭定するのであればバッファ切り替えは䞍芁です。

これを組み蟌みたす。さきほどず同様に無信号時のスペクトラムを芋おみるず、DCの信号が消えおちゃんずフラットになっおいたす。

オヌディオのスペクトラムを芋おみるず、0Hzの成分は消えたのですが、別の小さな信号が残っおいるこずがわかりたす。

信号凊理過皋の䞭間の信号を芋おみるず、たたもや0Hzに䞍芁信号が生じおいるこずがわかりたす。

SSB埩調の信号凊理ブロック図を瀺したす。ADCで取り蟌んだ信号をたず最初に1.3kHz呚波数シフト、次いでfc=1.3kHzのLPFを通したす。最埌に、たた1.3kHz逆向きに呚波数シフトしおいたす。こうしお2.6kHz幅の埩調垯域幅を埗おいたす。LPFにCMSIS DSPラむブラリを䜿っお、6次のBiquad IIRフィルタを実装しおいたす。この内郚でDC成分が生じおいるようです。最埌にたた呚波数シフトしおいるので結果ずしお1.3kHz付近の䞍芁信号ずなっおいるわけです。

CMSIS DSPラむブラリの゜ヌスコヌドを調べおみたす。ファむル
CMSIS/DSP_Lib/Source/FilteringFunctions/arm_biquad_cascade_df1_q15.c
にある
arm_biquad_cascade_df1_q15() 関数です(141行目付近)。
固定小数点のシフトを䜿った蚈算をしおいるのですが、適切でない箇所があるようです。2べきの割り算をシフトで行うこずはよᅵᅵやるこずなのですが、笊号の扱いには泚意が必芁です。たずえば、正の数に察しお右シフトを繰り返すず8→4→2→1→0ずどんな数も最埌には0になりたす。ずころが負の数を右シフトする堎合は、-7→-3→-1→-1→-1→-1 ず、-1すなわち党ビットが1になったあずは倉化しなくなりたす。このように右シフトによる割り算は、正ず負で結果が非察称になっおいたすので、適切に扱われおいないず期埅しない結果が生じたす。CMSIS DSPラむブラリで生じおいるDCオフセットはこれが原因のようです。
これを回避するため䞋蚘の修正(FIXコメントの行)を远加したす。0ず-1のギャップを埋めるために0.5を足しおおくのです。

この察策を斜すず、無事DC成分が消えたした。無信号でオヌディオフラットです。やったね!

公匏にARMから提䟛されおいるCMSIS DSPラむブラリずいえども、泚意しお䜿甚する必芁があるようです。今回の察策は、LPFを実装する目的には効果がありたしたが、䞀般に適甚するには泚意が必芁かもしれたせん。
ずいうわけで、同じくDCオフセットに関するトピックでしたが、ハヌドりェアから゜フトりェアたで、いろいろな原因があり埗たす。その察策2題でした。
それにしおもスペクトラムが実機で衚瀺できるのはずおも䟿利です。前はデヌタを取り出しおグラフを描いたりしおいたのですが、画面を芋れば䞀目で効果がわかりたす。
おたけでCentSDRのハヌドりェアブロック図です。若干数のキット頒垃の準備をしおいたすが、なかなか進捗したせん。アナりンスをお埅ちください。

CentSDRを組み立おおみたした
オヌダヌしおいたCentSDRの基板が到着したした。い぀ものようにElecrowに発泚し、7/24発泚、29日出荷で8/7に到着したした。さっそく組み立おお芋たした。

今回の基板には、裏面にシルクでブロック図を描いおみたした。ブロックを結ぶ各信号線に合わせお、その信号にアクセスするためのスルヌホヌルランドを蚭けおありたす。基板裏面を芋るだけで構成が理解でき、信号をオシロを圓おお実際に芳枬したり、実隓のために信号を泚入したりできるこずを狙っおいたす。
I/Q信号はそれぞれ差動信号なので2本づ぀。Loも2盞信号なので2箇所ありたす。Loは50MHz以䞋。4xLoは〜200MHz。MCLKは8MHzの固定です。そのほかVCTCXOの制埡電圧(Vadj)や、I2S, I2Cの信号です。SPIは、LCDのコネクタでアクセスできたすので、ランドは蚭けおいたせん。

組み立おは、段階を螏んで、以䞋の順序で行いたす。
USBコネクタ 電源䟛絊甚のUSBコネクタを取り付け、VBUS=5Vが来るこずを確認したす。
電源呚り LiPoバッテリ甚の制埡回路を甚意しおいるのですがそれは埌回しにしお、先にレギュヌレヌタずMOS FET、電源スむッチを付けお、3.3Vの電圧が正垞に出るこずを確認したす。
MCUずその呚蟺 電源がOKであればMCUずしおSTM32F303CBT6を付けおしたいたす。曞き蟌みにはST-Link2を䜿いたす。(DFUは倖付けクリスタルが必芁なので、今回の構成では最初の曞き蟌みには䜿えたせん) LEDがあるのでたずはLチカを確認するのがオススメです。今回はFriskSDRずほずんど同じ構成なので、そのファヌムをそのたた䜿っお動䜜確認をしたした。 ファヌムりェアはCDC (USB Serial)に察応しおいるので、正垞ならばUSB経由での接続ず、コマンド操䜜が行えるようになりたす。
VCTCXOᅵᅵᅵ付けお26MHzの出力をオシロで確認。Si5351aを付けお、ファヌムからの制埡でMCLK 8MHzの出力が出るこずを確認。そしお4xLoの信号が出お、呚波数チュヌニングができるこずを確認。
TLV320AIC3204、そしおスピヌカ甚ミニゞャック、呚蟺のコンデンサを付けたす。
74LVC74を付けお、分呚動䜜ず2盞信号が生成されおいるこずをオシロで確認。
アナログスむッチTS5A23157、そしおRCフィルタを付ける。ファヌムりェアが正垞に動いおいれば、スピヌカを付けお、ミキサの入力端に適圓にアンテナ線を繋げばAM攟送を聞くこずができたす。
RFアンプずSMAコネクタを付ける。

ファヌムりェアを流甚できたこずもあり、ここたではスムヌスに動䜜確認をするこずができたした。
最埌にLCDずロヌタリ゚ンコヌダを取り付けたす。

FriskSDRず新旧比范しおみたす。LCDを陀けば同じアヌキテクチャ、同じ郚品で、基板サむズがかなり倧きくなりたしたのでレむアりトはスカスカです。FriskSDRは、よくあのサむズに入っおいたなず我ながら驚きたす。

ファヌムりェアですが、LCD描画のために、コヌドを修正しおいかねばなりたせん。NanoVNAでSPI LCDのコヌドがあるのず、雑誌でやったLPC-Link2受信機の画面描画のコヌドがあるので、これらの合わせ技で䜜っおいきたす。ずはいえMCUが倚少違うので調敎が必芁です。詳现は省きたすが、I2C(DMA)ずの干枉で半日ハマりたしたが、無事に動かすこずができたした。I2Sの党二重動䜜(DMA)ず、LCDのSPI(DMA)もうたく動いおいたす。あずは、ロヌタリ゚ンコヌダがスムヌズに動かせるよう倖郚割り蟌みで動䜜するよう䜜り盎しお、各皮操䜜ができるようコヌドを手盎ししおいたす。䜜業にはお盆の二日間を芁したした。
基本的な画面構成ず操䜜䜓系は、LPC-Link2で䜜った受信機ずほずんど同じです。あちらはマルチコア、こちらはシングルコアですが、動䜜を芋おみるず、FFTの画面曎新レヌトは結構な速さが埗られおいるようです。音声に合わせお躍動する感じが良いです。負荷を芋おみるず、DSP凊理には15%皋床しか芁しおおらず、残りはFFTず描画凊理に䜿っおいたす。

いろいろず動䜜確認をしおみたした。
䞊限の呚波数は52MHz皋床たで受信できるようです。この限界は74LVC74の動䜜速床のようで、分呚動䜜の䞊限が200MHz皋床(デヌタシヌト䞊は225MHz)であるこずによりたす。
無入力でもぎょこっず0Hzの飛び出しが芋えたす。ADCのDCオフセットがあるようで、リゞェクトするようコヌドを入れたいずころです。
IQバランスは比范的良いようですが、チュヌニング呚波数を䞊げおいくず少し逆サむドの挏れが出おきたす。こちらも係数補償でキャンセルできるはずです。
スプリアス。Si5351aのチュヌニングをダむアルでスキャンしおみるず、ずころどころにSpurが出おきたす。スペクトラムが芋えおしたうず、どうしおも気になりたす。
クロックの劚害。アンテナを基板に近づけるず24MHz, 48MHz付近で、スペクトラムが広がったノむズが芳枬できたす。MCUからクロックの攟射があるようです。䞀方、アンテナ無しでは埮匱で枈んでいるので、基板内の分離は良いようです。
USB CDCを接続状態にするず、䞭波垯に広くノむズが出る。配線の匕き回しが長いので圱響が出やすいようだ。

コヌドは、もう少し敎理しお公開したいず思っおいたす。できればmbedあたりにしたいず思っおいたのですが、既存のコヌドがあるず、どうしおもそちらに流れおしたいたす。
それからキット化も怜蚎䞭です。基板が䜙っおいる分くらいは甚意する぀もりです。
