If Mao Mao in your headcanon is autistic, then from whom did he get the predisposition? Does this mean that his sisters / father / mother could be at least on the extended phenotype?

I do indeed believe Mao isn’t the only one who’s autistic in his immediate family :) Most, if not all, of his sisters are right there with him

I’m not sure which parent just yet though 🤔

This AU is a 'what if' type thing, what if Badgerclops went back to being a bad guy. Ask yourself why and see if you can figure it out before it's revealed in the comics story lol.

Second. This AU, the comic, and this page are all for mature audiences. if you're under 17 get outta here! You're free to enjoy any artwork made of it on my main page @chex-nix . I can not control you and what you choose to do but I don't want to get in trouble with your guardians if they see you looking at toxic furry yaoi yelling curse words at each other with insanly high tension.

Third this isn't a role play account! You can talk to the characters for fun or to get insight on the story but no role play 🫡

I picked charmander to play as because obviously but I picked psyduck as my partner because of the type spread and because I thought it would be a silly little romp. And instead it's this heavy stakes existential story about blame and cowardice and love with a psyduck at the forefront with me. Our names are Chex and Pizzaz because I'm doing nicknames consistently for the first time. Incredible. And all of that is before you consider the fact that psyduck nixes all weather effects, so the moltres and articuno dens that keep trying to kill you slowly as you move through them? Not touching me. Choose psyduck. Also I'm not sure there's a better combo of elements you could pick at least for now.

Seriously I read a guide that talked about the best combos of pokemon to play the game with and psyduck wasn't anywhere on there, but being protected from weather effects with a move (just one so far) that can hit something across the screen is pretty great.

Mao Mao from Mao Mao Heroes of Pure Heart is autistic, trans, and demiromantic n there's nothing u can do about it

-Special interests include heroing and Lucky Ducky

-Geraldine, that cute cat plushy, and his cape are comfort objects (his aerocycle is a borderline comfort object too tbh,,,,)

-He's sensitive to textures so he always wants his gloves on, his favorite texture is his cape's fabric

-His cape is thick and the right amount of heavy to not slow him down but give him a pressure stim

-actually emotionally sensitive

-Some happy stims: flapping, hopping, finger wiggling

-Some angry/unhappy stims: Yelling, violent chewing, a different flapping, punching, self hitting (minimal tho)

-Some uncomfy/self soothing stims: Rubbing his cape between his thumb and finger/ on his face, finger flicking/ different finger wiggling, rocking, he likes having Badgerclops squish him in a hug

-cobbler is a same food for him, he could eat it everyday and never get tired of it

I don't take criticism, this is just how it is, it's canon, Parker walked to my house and told me directly 😔 /s

Now for an unexpected merge - Day 4 and Day 6: New Pronouns and Festival!

(Well, in the comic they're getting ready to go to a festival, so I think it counts?)

Get ready for a hc you probably wouldn't expect. Or maybe you would expect it, from me.

I'm a simple person. I see a character with the same mental disorders as me, I PROJECT more than Badgerclops projected onto Bobo-Chan.

(Once again, sorry if the writing seems wonky.)

(For context, the Sheriff's Department is getting ready for a pride festival and invited 'gene to join them. While him and BC are waiting for Mao and Adorabat to get ready [Mao is helping Adorabat make her costume], 'gene gets curious and asks BC some questions.)

Dialogue Transcript:

I dunno how to explain it, really. It's like, I was fine with being a guy, but at the same time I didn't feel like just a guy? You know?

Mx. Adorabat's gonna be testing out they/them pronouns for today!

This was partially inspired by a lot of chex-nix's comics, so go check them out!

BC's little tangent is based on how I felt about myself, especially around middle school age. Like, I felt like a girl, but at the same time I didn't. But I didn't feel like a boy, either. And that's why I call myself a demigirl now! :)

Another inspiration is that if 'gene were to appear in S2, I think it would make sense for him to have an arc where he realizes how dependent he was on Sonara and Adorabat, and learns to be more independent. In the process, maybe he could learn more about himself, and how to be brave in his own way!

Idk why, but I hc that he's either demiboy or bigender & uses He/She/They/Ae pronouns! It just fits him for some reason :) (Probably because I project onto him, lol) ((this isn't a "Your dad is gnc af" joke this hc came to me before I heard of that meme))

(Btw the gay flag I used for Badgerclops's sash is by dueling-jesters, I've seen people complaining about the blue gay flag & I thought this one looked pretty ^ ^)

((Also I would've used the new bi flag for Mao but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to fit all the stripes so I defaulted to the old one. The new one is by smatterbrain on Twitter and its really nice!))
