Somehow, it’s simultaneously shocking and unsurprising to learn that this is absolutely true. RFK Jr picked up a dead bear on an upstate NY road and took it back to the city and dumped it in Central Park while trying to make it look like a bicyclist in the Park had hit and killed the bear. In the video, he’s telling that sociopathic story to, of all people, Roseanne Barr who is definitely *not* shocked.

“Melissa Roe,” 27 (USA 1992)

“Melissa” was 27 years old when she checked into Lutheran Medical Center of Brooklin on May 1, 1992 for a legal abortion. She was five months pregnant.

Even though it was a highly dangerous method that had been banned in multiple countries for decades, the abortionist decided on the saline method. This was done by injecting a toxic concentration of hypertonic saline into Melissa’s uterus. Even among abortion methods, it was an especially hazardous one.

Like so many others before her, Melissa was killed by the “safe and legal” saline abortion. She died of abortion complications on May 11, 1992.

Japan, Sweden and even the notoriously pro-abortion Soviet Union had banned the saline abortion method decades before Melissa’s death. Although the method has become less popular among the American abortion industry over time, the United States still has yet to ban the hazardous procedure.

Peter Beard

Peter Hill Beard (22 de janeiro de 1938 – 31 de março / 19 de abril de 2020) foi um artista, fotógrafo, diarista e escritor americano que viveu e trabalhou na cidade de Nova York, Montauk e Quênia. Suas fotografias da África, animais africanos e os diários que frequentemente integravam suas fotografias foram amplamente exibidos e publicados desde a década de 1960.

Vida pessoal

Descendente de distintas famílias americanas de ambos os lados, Beard foi um dos três filhos de Roseanne (Hoare) Beard e Anson McCook Beard, Jr. Seu bisavô, James Jerome Hill , fundou a Great Northern Railway nos Estados Unidos no final do século XIX e usou sua fortuna ferroviária para se tornar um grande patrono das artes. Todos os seus herdeiros foram expostos e possuíam grandes coleções, presumivelmente tendo uma forte influência nos interesses de Beard nas artes e na beleza.

Beard se casou com sua primeira esposa, Mary "Minnie" Olivia Cochran Cushing em 1967; seu casamento durou apenas brevemente. Sua segunda esposa foi Cheryl Tiegs , a modelo, de 1981 a 1983. 

Em 1986, ele se casou com Nejma Khanum. O casal teve uma filha, Zara (nascida em 1988), para quem seu livro, Zara's Tales, foi escrito.

Em 1996, ele foi gravemente ferido por um elefante, mas sobreviveu. 

Beard fez amizade e, em alguns casos, colaborou com muitos artistas, incluindo Andy Warhol , Andrew Wyeth , Francis Bacon , Karen Blixen , Truman Capote , Richard Lindner e Salvador Dalí . she says as much and topaz spits at her

roseanne blossom takes in the flinty eyes filled with disdain, top lip curled in disgust, muscles coiled with a deep seated rage

electricity crackles between them

and roseanne blossom finds herself wanting

she always has taken the greatest shine to the things she can't have

and then she takes them anyway

topaz is too busy trying to ignore any whisper of chemistry, appalled at even the notion of harboring any inkling of non negative feeling toward a blossom to notice the look in the other woman's eyes

she promises herself it'll be fine, she'll stick to her own side of the tracks and go back to hating the blossoms in peace and anonymity

but the universe must have it's soulmate wires crossed because it keeps throwing.them.together

they went years without ever once running into each other, the town divide seemingly immutable and now they're colliding in the hospital and bumping into each other at pop's, topaz picks up a catering gig and blossom is attending, the woods several times while topaz is stewarding the land and blossom is being a little bit magical and a lotta bit shady, the sheriff's station,the drive in, the library

the bloodshed does come eventually it's a sunny afternoon when a brawl between northsiders and southsiders breaks out in pickens park

topaz and blossom waste no time honing in on each other, a kiss with a fist is better then none

someone bumps her from behind and topaz's knuckles glance off blossoms cheek instead of breaking her nose

roseanne pounces, tackling topaz to the ground in a way topaz never expected from the proper lady and grudgingly has to respect

they're grappling for the upper hand for what feels like forever, relentless, frenzied, when topaz feels herself hauled off and thrown a good distance away

she loses her adversary in the chaos until a police whistle cuts through the air and everyone scatters

she's almost home free when she looks back and sees roseanne still on the ground not moving, covered in so much blood

every instinct tells her to keep running

but toni came by her compassion honestly and her nana couldn't very well leave a girl with glass from a broken bottle sticking out of her fucking eye even if that girl were a blossom

so she doubles back, hauling the taller girl with her but she's a serpent and she's got a gruesomely injured blossom with her it's understandable self preservation that has her dumping the other woman at the hospital entrance and fleeing

when roseanne turns up at her doorstep over a week later with an eye patch and seemingly on a mission

topaz lets her in

it is a shock to see A Blossom on the southside and yet weirdly topaz can't say she's surprised to see rose

they fuck on nearly every surface of the trailer except the bed

topaz tells her to never come back again, that it can never happen again

she doesn't but it does

it's hate fucking until it's not

roseanne blossom steals topaz's heart without a care for the fallout, a true descendant of her ancestors in spirit not just name

all or nothing love, pure adoration or distilled hate? it predated clifford and penelope and even rose for that matter ingrained in the blossom DNA long before it fucked cheryl up

and toni isn't the only topaz to ever get caught in that crossfire, her nana payed the price first

graduation rolls around and roseanne leaves riverdale for highsmith and then a husband, children and wrought iron fences

she never looks back

and topaz is left to pick up her own pieces. responsible for such atrocity topaz never imagined the blossoms could inspire more hatred in her than she already harbored

oh how wrong she was, she vows to never betray her own instincts again and never wavers in that conviction

fast foward to a post comet/no 50's timeline where toni and cheryl have found their way back to each other

there's a party, anthony's birthday maybe or a the town didn't get flattened celebration

and the first time nana topaz and nana rose are in a room together with choni, toni's brain short circuits

she just *knows* doesn't believe it or doesn't want to but *knows*

just takes one look at the 2 of them glaring at each other, well nana topaz is glaring nana blossom is just vibing as usual and toni is literally just like "what the Actual FUCK"

cheryl does not pick up on any of this so when toni wheels around on her nana like "no, absolutely not, are you Fucking kidding me?"

cheryl is Not prepared to receive the cursed knowledge about to be dropped on her. after the vast quantity of literal and metaphorical skeletons alike she's found in the closet and the mines and kept in her bedroom she figured nothing any of the blossoms have done could surprise her anymore

she's wrong

they're starting to attract an audience

cheryl's hand painting soothing patterns along toni's back and arms is not enough to keep toni from exploding like

"do not tell me the actual reason i missed out on almost a decade with the love of my life is because a blossom broke your heart, like what 50 years ago?'

that's the dialogue that appeared unbidden and caused all this btw

and of course it's so much more complicated than that but the broken heart was certainly not a nonfactor, toni is livid and nana topaz is defensive but not actually copping to anything

meanwhile cheryl has turned on nana rose but she only manages a scandalized and damn near supersonic "nana?!"

who's naturally like '"ah yes it was a shame really your grandfather was nowhere near as good in the boudoir"

which is probably when toni has to physically restrain her nana from throwing hands

and half the town is just witnessing this latest drama unfurl like cool cool cool cool rivedale is still riverdaling

🌌 Milky way! What was the inspiration behind your OC? What was the first thing you decided about them?

Oh boy! Okay!

Altair was kind of a spur of the moment decision. I wanted to make a Twili oc, and so I made one! Leo was made to pair with Altair from the beginning. I wanted to give her a friend. Hak'illi, Grey and Red were all adopts I bought! As for Cheryl, she was originally only for Pirate AU, but she integrated into ITL after much deliberation. Ailynna was originally part of a group I made for a challenge with a friend of mine, but she's since stopped being associated with them.

As for the HOTW crew, Cerule predates everyone as my first LOZ oc! Then came Dahira, and Zara soon after. Luto was next, he was originally from an rp. Carly is of course my persona, and after that, pretty much all the other ocs I made for HOTW were relatives of those four. Except for Alexandre and Dimas.

The Wagatsuma 25 (Japan, ~1965)

In 1965, Dr. Wagatsuma published a study assessing the safety of saline abortion, which was legal in Japan at the time. In a single study, he reported and documented no less than 25 maternal deaths from “safe and legal” saline abortion.

Saline instillation abortion is an abortion method that works by injecting hypertonic saline into the uterus, causing the fetus to suffer chemical burns, massive internal bleeding and death. This method was advertised as being safe by the abortion industry, but this couldn’t have been further from the truth. Maternal side effects included but are not limited to hypernatremia, amniotic fluid embolism, uterine rupture, sepsis, saline in the bloodstream, brain damage, coma, convulsions, internal bleeding, kidney failure, extreme pain and death.

More doctors and scientists published similar findings with even more fatalities. Over 70 papers were published in the Japanese medical community reporting hazards of saline abortions, including a massive number of maternal deaths. The Japanese Obstetrical and Gynecological Society condemned the technique, and it was quickly abandoned and banned for extreme hazards.

Multiple countries followed Japan’s example and banned saline abortions. Even the notoriously pro-abortion Soviet Union banned the method for its dangers. The work of Dr. Wagatsuma and other doctors and scientists was instrumental in saving the lives of women in Japan— and around the world— from this lethal procedure.

Unfortunately, the United States failed to act accordingly even when the science was available. Pregnant Americans (and their babies) were killed by legal saline abortion for decades after the science had proven the method unsafe. Although it eventually became less popular with the American abortion industry in favor of other methods, the saline method was never outlawed by the country.
