Chery Tiggo 4 Pro Gerts Even More Features

With its burgeoning sales figures now an open secret, resurgent Chinese automaker Chery has introduced a series of specification tweaks to its most popular model, the Tiggo 4 Pro.

Arriving less than a year after the brand’s much-publicised relaunch, the changes mainly apply to the standard specification sheet with no alterations having taken place externally.

Still comprising four trim levels as before, the base Tiggo 4 Pro Urban receives voice recognition for the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, as well as remote central locking, a tyre pressure monitor, new front seatbelt pre-tensioners and four additional airbags for a total of six.

In addition to a new front armrest, the previous cloth seats make way for vegan leather carried over the steering wheel and doors. A new six-way manually adjustable driver’s seat rounds the Urban off.

Next up, the Tiggo 4 Pro Comfort’s additions are smaller and aside from receiving those of the Urban, it also gets a remote control opening electric windows and as before, a CVT as the transmission option.

Remaining unchanged is the third-tier Elite, while the flagship Elite SE boasts new safety items comprising Adaptive Cruise Control, a 360-degree camera system, Lane Departure Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking.

Underneath the bonnet, Chery has kept the engine and transmission choices unchanged, meaning outputs of 85kW/141Nm from the normally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol powering the Urban and Comfort, and 108kW/210Nm from the turbo-assisted unit in the Elite and Elite SE.

A five-speed manual is standard on the Urban and the mentioned CVT on the Comfort, with the former making way for a six-speed manual on the Elite. As on the Comfort, a CVT is standard on the Elite SE but optional on the Elite.

Price

As before, all Tiggo 4 Pro models’ sticker prices include a five-year/60 000 km service plan, a five-year/150 000 km warranty and a ten-year/1 000 000 km engine warranty. Obviously, you can pay even less if you choose an updated, but used Chery Tiggo 4, instead of a brand-new one.

Chery revised the specification of its Tiggo 4 Pro models for sale.

This SUV went on sale in SA at the end of 2021 and has since done much to re-establish the Chinese marque in the minds of consumers looking to get the most value for their money.

As such Chery has amended the entire Tiggo 4 Pro model line-up starting with the entry-level Urban derivative that now benefits from an upgraded interior and safety features.

Pre-refresh variants can still be bought as a used Chery Tiggo 4 model and at pretty good prices, considering these models are practically new and only vary with regards to the below updates given in 2022.

The cloth upholstery of old makes way for fresh new vegan leather, which is not only applied to the seats but also the steering wheel and door inlays. This luxurious trim is complemented by a central front armrest, adjustable rear headrests and an inbuilt coat rack. Chery has also bolted in a new driver's seat that boasts six-way manual adjustment.

После индексации утильсбора россияне охладели к покупке новых автомобилей. Об этом со ссылкой на данные «Автостата» сообщает «Коммерсантъ».

�� четвертого по десятое ноября продажи новых легковых машин упали почти на четверть (минус 24,6 процента, до 27,23 тысячи штук). Продажи легких коммерческих автомобилей (LCV) снизились до 2,42 тысячи штук (минус 26,4 процента), а грузовиков — до 2,07 тысячи штук (минус 24,3 процента).

По словам заместителя гендиректора агентства Сергея Удалова, на рынке началось прогнозируемое охлаждение спроса после пиковых значений сентября и октября. В начале осени граждане старались приобрести автомобиль, ввезенный до индексации утилизационного сбора, по более низкой стоимости.

Сильнее всего упали продажи новых легковых автомобилей в Москве — на 42,4 процента по сравнению с прошлой неделей. Показатели снизились до 2,93 тысячи штук. Второе место заняла Московская область — 1,98 тысячи автомобилей (минус 19,3 процента), а третье — Санкт-Петербург с результатом 1,45 тысячи проданных машин (минус 28,8 процента).

Самыми продаваемыми автомобилями остались Lada Granta (3,5 тысячи штук), Lada Vesta (2 тысячи штук) и китайский кроссовер Haval Jolion (1,2 тысячи штук). В десятку самых популярных также попали Lada Niva Legend, Chery Tiggo 7 PRO Max, Lada Niva Travel, Chery Tiggo 4 PRO, Lada Largus, Geely Monjaro и Haval M6 — таких машин продали менее тысячи штук.

Новые автомобили в Нижегородской области в 2023 году подорожали почти на 30% Средняя цена нового автомобиля в Нижегородской области за 2023 год увеличилась на 28,4% и превысила 4 млн рублей. Наименьший рост стоимости был зафиксирован у EXEED VX (+0,4% при стоимости 5,3 млн рублей). Рост цен на автомобили с пробегом в среднем составил 19,52%. Сильнее всего подорожали Chevrolet Lacetti 2004−2013 гг. (+50,8%), Volkswagen Touareg 2010−2014 гг. (+50,1%), Lada 2107 1982−2012 гг. (+48,3%), Peugeot 308 2007−2011 гг. (+43,8%), Hyundai Solaris 2014−2017 гг. (+43%). Лишь Nissan Qashqai 2017−2022 гг. подешевел 11% - до 1,9 млн рублей. В Россию завезли рекордное за 12 лет число новых машин

В октябре 2024 года в Россию завезли в общей сложности 112 тысяч новых легковых автомобилей, что оказалось рекордным показателем за последние 12 лет. Об этом сообщает «Автостат» со ссылкой на собственные статистические данные.

Рост импорта новых автомобилей в Россию фиксируется с мая этого года. Однако достигнутый в октябре результат оказался максимальным не только в 2024-м, а вообще за последние 12 лет. До этого больше новых легковушек в страну завозили в августе 2012 года. Тогда импорт в РФ подобных транспортных средств составил около 120 тысяч единиц, уточнили эксперты.

Главной причиной подобной динамики аналитики назвали резкое повышение утилизационного сбора для ввозимых в Россию иномарок. Так, с 1 октября ставка для новых автомобилей с двигателями объемом до одного литра увеличилась с 81,2 тысячи до 150,2 тысячи рублей. В свою очередь, коэффициент для машин с моторами до двух литров поднялся с 306 до 556,2 тысячи, а для моделей с агрегатами до трех литров — с 844,8 тысячи до 1 562 800 рублей.

На этом фоне, пояснили эксперты, российские импортеры решили заранее подготовиться к резкому увеличению утильсбора. Если в августе 2024 года в Россию завезли 89 тысяч новых легковушек, то в сентябре поставки составили 104,2 тысячи, а в октябре объемы ввоза увеличились еще на 7,8 тысячи больше. Самым востребованным у отечественных импортеров иностранным автомобилем в середине осени стал кроссовер Geely Monjaro. В топ-3 вошли две модели Chery — кроссоверы Tiggo 4 PRO и Tiggo 7 PRO Max. В пятерке лидеров по этому показателю также оказались кроссоверы Haval M6 и GAC GS3.
