just saw a post on ig about how good it feels to have low maintenance friendships and everyone in the comments started ripping each others throats with shit like "IF YOU ARE MY FRIEND YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN EFFORT, YALL HAVE AQUAINTANCES NOT FRIENDS AND YOULL DIE ALONE FOREVER"

omg people are so annoying... i have low maintenance friends, low maintenance as in "we have boring lifes so its not necessary that we catch up every-single-day, lets better wait a couple weeks to gather, buy some good food, some drinks and drugs maybe and lets talk and play and eat aaaaaaaall day, and maybe even have a sleepover and then i will see you in a month or so"

i love my friends, they love me, we love each other, but our love language is those gatherings every now and then and send us memes and videos, and every week a message of "hey i miss u/how are you?/how is your pet and your partner?"

like... idk life is so diverse in all its shapes, sizes, timings, contexts, etc etc etc but people is always trying to standarize shit... i don't understand 99.9% of how yall live your life but that doesnt mean i think ill of you? i think its fascinating how you go through shit and can find happiness, satisfaction, nostalgia, pride, etc in your own ways, at your own pace
