Once again, I am crying about Luke Skywalker specifically through the lens of how he is the child of a genocided people and he can study all the books and Temples he finds, but he will have so few of his people to actually talk to, to listen to their stories face to face, to hear their living history from their own mouths with their own words, his history. There's a unique trauma of realizing that everyone who was supposed to have been there for you has been murdered because of how they were born, that you were meant to be part of a community and those people were murdered for the same thing that lives on in you, that the people who were meant to be there for you as aunts and uncles and cousins were murdered for everything that you're now living for. They're all just gone and you're alone when you were meant to have a thousand people ready to teach you and watch you grow and learn. That's what Luke Skywalker lives through--the child of an entire people gone because they were genocided nearly out of existence entirely.

Hi y'all! I'm here with two new Communities: Star Wars Sapphics and Star Wars Yurification Agenda! Links at the bottom ⬇️

Star Wars Sapphics is a community for sapphic characters in Star Wars, both canonical and not! It is specifically for characters who are female canonically, since F/F can often be overrun with genderbent male characters and I'd like this Community to not be focused on that. So whether you're a fan of Sana Starros/Doctor Aphra, Wolfwren, or Leia/Evaan, all lady characters are welcome - including your sapphic OCs!

Star Wars Yurification Agenda is exactly what it sounds like: a Community to yuri-fy Star Wars. Genderbend to your heart's content! WLW Codywan, Disaster Butch Han Solo, Anidala Yuri - all are welcome here! 'Yurification' can refer to always-a-woman AUs or transing the gender of a canonically male character - either is great!

So please - join me in my quest to spotlight f/f and sapphic characters in Star Wars! Both communities are currently request-to-join due to bot problems, but I'll be checking requests regularly.

He backstabbed her first and then she had the audacity to survive getting thrown out an airlock.
