While traveling and far from home, inspiration struck; Alicia and Vlad are some of our favorite characters from the show, and we feel like their interactions have so much potential... and so yet another new, rural, found family AU was born!

The basic premise is: after the explosion that leaves Danny as an orphan, Alicia gets assigned as a caretaker for her nephew, but she never had an interest in raising a child of her own and has zero idea where to start.

Danny also reaches Vlad, because he know he's the only one that can understand his situation. So two mismatched grieving adults find themselves having to work together for this poor child's sake, until they learn more about each other, and become actually close and functional co-parents despite their own issues ensued with losing Maddie.

Also Alicia eventually knows about the ghost stuff, because it's very, very important to have little farmer Plasmius around U.U
