....oh the twitte.r stans will hate me for this, but... on reflection, i appreciated that they tried something new and different when adapting miguel for atsv? it's still the version of miguel that i enjoy the most, and yeah, there remains a load of questions left up in the air, that may still go unanswered when the third movie rolled around. but it brought so many new concepts to the table, that might not have surfaced with a perfect page to screen adaptation. it's great!

Naaaaah , get the fuck outtaaaa here. panth friendo, you already know my thoughts on this </3 but for those in the audience ;

i am not giving ANY airtime to that icky ass cheating subplot that was explored in the 90ies run. this isn't to say that miguel was innocent, he takes some of the blame here too tbh, but ughhh. the only decent d'angelo that the 2099 timeline produced was her sister, jennifer, who is also 2099's goblin to me, rather than that ridiculous bait and switch plot with gabri.

this also cuts extraaaaa close to the bone when you consider; Tyler got up to the same shit, cheating on his own wife with mig's mom.

but i'll shut up bc i just... have SUCH vitriol for dana, and how she was portrayed, lmao.

so tl;dr ; i don't give a fuck about dana d'angelo, and whilst i'm at it, on the subject of xina qwan ( & before the retrofang stans hunt me down) , i don't ... really pay attention to the manifest destiny / world of tormorrow stuff. so in my book, miguel and xina were just childhood friends, with the added bit of her being LYLA's creator.
