Went to Silver City on Thursday for dinner. Shared their pretzels. (I already ate some of mine before the pic.) The mustard that came with it was really good. I got their prime rib dip with cheddar and coleslaw on the side. First time getting their prime rib dip. It was pretty good. Couldn’t taste the cheese much. Got their apple strudel for dessert. It comes with ice cream on the side. It was very spicy. Not hot spicy, but in the sense that there’s a lot of spices. Maybe too much. It was good, though. I had half of everything including my pretzel and the strudel. Took it all home. Had the strudel for breakfast yesterday. The rest for lunch.

🌶️🧀 Texas Trash Dip 🧀🌶️

This Texas Trash Dip is a cheesy, spicy, and incredibly delicious appetizer that's perfect for any gathering! Loaded with creamy cheese, beans, and a kick of spice, this dip will have everyone coming back for more.

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

1 can (16 oz) refried beans

1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, drained and rinsed

1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies (Rotel)

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup salsa

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Jalapeño slices (for garnish)

Tortilla chips (for serving)

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook Ground Beef:

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it's no longer pink. Drain any excess grease.

Combine Ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, refried beans, black beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes with green chilies, cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, and taco seasoning. Mix until well combined.

Assemble Dip:

Spread the mixture into a large baking dish (9x13 inch works well).

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the top.
