I woke up from a very weird dream of everyone including myself trying to reach the top floor of a really tall building by queuing up for elevators. I wonder why do I have such strange dreams.

I read into Matthew 13: 47-52 today 

Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. 48 When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. 49 This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous50 and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

51 “Have you understood all these things?” Jesus asked.

“Yes,” they replied.

52 He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”

It begins with the idea that everybody has a chance of reaching out to God, to get baptised and have a relationship with God. However, the false worshipers among them would be separated out at God’s judgement day and thrown into hell. Jesus is checking his disciples’ understanding on it, so that they do not stumble into sin. Jesus does not want anybody to stumble in their walk with God. Similarly, its a heart that I want to imitate because it is good to help others know Christ.

Jesus continues on with being a teacher of the law, every disciple has authority to teach the word of God to others. Within this authority, we make new memories and old memories which are precious to us. This is because the memories help us remember who God is to us in our life without God and our life with God. It helps us remember how much we need God and how much he has given to us. Without God, I question the validity of my friendships and my relationships since people have different standards of what is considered cheating or betrayal and I am not loved enough to accept help that is given to me. Equally I give out my heart to others expecting a return or a reward for my hard work, so I am not true to others as well. 

There are many more things to learn and overcome in this world as long as I live and doing it through Christ. It gives me a better perspective on why I wake up in the morning and do my job and my school. I get to glorify God through my talents through the work that is given to us. Apart from that, it also builds my character so that it can be complete. 

James 1:4

Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything

Living this hard life is perseverance and this journey is long so I really need Christians who would support me along the way. I don’t wish to be someone who scrape into heaven with bare minimum love for God and not knowing who He is or just being incomplete in front of God. I desire to be complete for God.
