If you're looking to create a bedroom that exudes luxury and charm, read on to discover the allure of sleigh beds and why they deserve a place in your home.
A Glimpse into History
Sleigh beds have a rich and fascinating history that dates back to the early 19th century. Their distinctive design, characterized by gracefully curved headboards and footboards, was inspired by the shape of a horse-drawn sleigh. The concept of the sleigh bed originated in France and quickly gained popularity throughout Europe and the United States.
During the Victorian era, sleigh beds became a symbol of opulence and luxury, with intricately carved wood and ornate details adorning their frames. Over time, this classic design has evolved to suit modern tastes while retaining its timeless appeal.
The Allure of Sleigh Bed Design
One of the standout features of a sleigh bed is its elegant and curved silhouette. This design creates a focal point in the bedroom, making it a perfect choice for those who want to add a touch of sophistication to their decor. The curved headboard and footboard offer a sense of coziness and security, enveloping you in comfort as you sleep or relax in your bedroom.
Sleigh beds are available in a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and upholstered options. This versatility ensures that you can find a sleigh bed that perfectly complements your existing decor and personal style. Whether you prefer a rustic wooden sleigh bed or a sleek, modern upholstered design, there's a sleigh bed for every taste.
The Comfort Factor
Beyond their captivating aesthetics, sleigh beds are renowned for their comfort. The curved headboard provides excellent support for those who enjoy reading or watching TV in bed. You can comfortably lean back against the headboard, making it an ideal choice for those who value relaxation and downtime in their bedroom.
Sleigh beds also offer a generous amount of under-bed storage space, making them practical in addition to being stylish. You can use this space to store extra bedding, clothing, or any items you'd like to keep neatly tucked away, helping you maintain a clutter-free bedroom.
Sleigh Beds in Different Styles
Sleigh beds come in a range of styles to suit various preferences. Here are a few popular options:
Traditional Sleigh Beds
Traditional sleigh beds maintain the classic curved design that defines this style. They often feature intricate woodwork and craftsmanship, making them a true work of art in your bedroom.
Modern Sleigh Beds
For those with a more contemporary taste, modern sleigh beds offer sleek and clean lines. They may incorporate metal or upholstered elements, creating a perfect blend of classic and modern aesthetics.
Upholstered Sleigh Beds
Upholstered sleigh beds provide a plush and luxurious feel with padded headboards and footboards. They offer a soft and inviting look, making them an excellent choice for a cozy bedroom.
Rustic Sleigh Beds
Rustic sleigh beds often feature natural wood finishes, giving your bedroom a warm and welcoming ambiance. They are ideal for those who appreciate a more earthy and organic style.
Maintenance and Care
To ensure that your sleigh bed maintains its beauty and functionality, regular maintenance is essential. Here are some tips for caring for your sleigh bed:
Dust Regularly: Dust your sleigh bed frame with a soft, dry cloth to prevent a buildup of dirt and grime.
Avoid Direct Sunlight: Position your sleigh bed away from direct sunlight to prevent fading of wood or fabric.
Use Appropriate Cleaners: Depending on the material of your sleigh bed, use suitable cleaners to keep it looking its best.
Check for Loose Fasteners: Periodically inspect the bed frame for loose screws or fasteners and tighten them as needed.
By following these simple care instructions, you can ensure that your sleigh bed remains a stunning centerpiece in your bedroom for years to come.
Conclusion
Sleigh beds are more than just a piece of furniture; they are a statement of elegance and comfort. Their rich history, versatile designs, and inherent charm make them an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their bedroom decor. Choosing the Perfect King Size Sleigh Bed: Factors to Consider
When it comes to transforming your bedroom into a cozy sanctuary, the right bed can make all the difference. A king size sleigh bed is a popular choice for those seeking both elegance and ample sleeping space. However, making the perfect selection involves more than just aesthetics. This article will guide you through essential factors to consider when choosing the ideal king size sleigh bed for your bedroom.
1. Style and Aesthetics
The first consideration when choosing a king size sleigh bed is the style and aesthetics. Sleigh beds are known for their distinctive curved headboards and footboards, resembling a sleigh. Consider the overall style of your bedroom and choose a sleigh bed that complements your décor. Whether you prefer a traditional, modern, or transitional look, there's a sleigh bed style to match.
2. Material and Durability
Sleigh beds are crafted from various materials, including wood, metal, and upholstery. Each material offers a unique aesthetic and level of durability. Solid wood beds are classic and durable, while metal beds can provide a modern touch. Upholstered sleigh beds offer comfort and a cozy feel. Consider the longevity and maintenance requirements of each material before making your choice.
3. Size and Dimensions
Ensure that the king size sleigh bed you choose fits comfortably in your bedroom. Measure your room and leave enough space for other furniture and movement. Pay attention to the dimensions of the bed, including width, length, and height, to ensure it fits your space and provides ample room for a good night's sleep.
4. Comfort and Support
A crucial aspect of any bed is its level of comfort and support. Test the mattress and slats to ensure they offer adequate support for your body. The right mattress paired with a well-constructed sleigh bed can significantly enhance your sleep quality and overall well-being.
5. Storage Options
Consider whether you want additional storage features in your king size sleigh bed. Some sleigh beds come with built-in drawers or under-bed storage, providing a convenient solution for organizing your bedroom and maximizing space.
6. Budget Considerations
Set a budget before starting your search for the perfect sleigh bed. Prices can vary widely based on materials, brand, and design. Stick to your budget while ensuring you get the best quality bed that meets your requirements.
7. Assembly and Delivery
Check if the bed requires assembly and if the delivery is included in the purchase. Factor in assembly time and costs, especially if you prefer professional assembly.
8. Customer Reviews and Ratings
Research and read customer reviews to gain insights into the experiences of others who have purchased the same sleigh bed. Consider the overall satisfaction and any potential issues before making your decision.
9. Brand Reputation
Opt for a reputable and reliable brand known for producing high-quality furniture. A well-established brand is likely to offer better craftsmanship and customer service.
10. Customization Options
If you desire a personalized touch, look for brands that offer customization options. Choose the finish, upholstery, or other details to match your preferences and style.
In conclusion, selecting the perfect king-size sleigh bed involves considering style, material, size, comfort, storage, budget, assembly, reviews, brand reputation, and customization. By evaluating these factors carefully, you can make an informed decision that will enhance the beauty and comfort of your bedroom for years to come. Happy bed hunting!

One of the few downsides to owning a giant gorgeous antique bed is it now, you can’t live anywhere into which the giant gorgeous antique bed cannot fit
Tumblr media
She just. She is my life partner now. At least in terms of home furnishings. I am forever doomed to only live in rooms that can fit a massive Eastlake fantasy sleigh bed
(Oh, and did I mention I got her for $100 on Facebook marketplace? You can’t even buy an IKEA bedframe that cheap, most of the time)

Mulled Wine (Jack Daniels/Agent Whiskey x F!Reader)
A Merry Fic-Mas - December 12
Tumblr media
Part of A Merry Fic-Mas: A Holiday Fic Calendar - click for masterlist, and follow @ladameecrit for my writing updates.
Pairing: Jack “Whiskey” Daniels x F!Reader
Rating: Mature/18+ MDNI
Warnings: Alcohol consumption; established relationship; light smut (heavy making out and fingering; implied smut; no use of Y/N; no physical descriptions of reader; language
Word Count: 1050
Summary: He might be a whiskey man by name, but he’s willing to try anything if you offer it.
I imagined this as part of the “Sleigh Ride” universe, though of course both fics can be read separately.
For @agentjackdaniels, as ever.
Tumblr media
Jack takes off his boots on the porch, shaking off the snow, and quietly lets himself into the ranch house. He can hear you humming and clattering pans and bottles in the kitchen, presumably rustling up another of the little treats you love to make when you’re down here, just the two of you.
He tiptoes in his warm, thermal boot socks across the floorboards and peeks around the kitchen door. You’re absorbed in whatever it is you’re making, bobbing your head to music and wiggling your hips. The ties of your apron only serve to accentuate the curve of your waist, your hips, that generous ass that drives him insane, and Jack has to take a moment before he loses the run of himself.
You don’t hear a thing as he approaches, a wicked grin spreading across his handsome face. He gets up nice and close - and then he strikes, wrapping his arms around you and smooshing the frozen, pink skin of his cheek against your warm face.
“JACK! Fucking hell, babe!”
He chuckles as you squeal at the cold and playfully slap his arms away, spinning you round and holding you all the closer.
“Sure is a pity when a woman doesn’t want to help warm up her man.” He does that half-smile you love so much. It’s all you can do not to haul him to bed and really warm him up.
“You’re damned lucky you’re cute, Mr Daniels.” You reach for a cheap but cheerful bottle of red wine and uncork it before pouring it into a large pan.
“And your problem is you’re just too cute, Mrs Daniels,” Jack replies, taking off his navy-blue padded coat and scarf to reveal the green plaid flannel and simple grey sweater beneath.
He wanders over to watch what you’re doing. “Hold up, darlin’. Did you just pour a whole bottle into that pan?”
You nod and giggle at his confused expression. “Sure did.”
He spots the spices and oranges lined up and ready to join the steaming purple-red liquid in due course.
“Aw, no. This isn’t that hot wine thing, surely.”
“Hot wine? It’s mulled wine, Jack. Or Glühwein, in German. It’s delicious!”
Your husband looks sceptical. He’s a man who doesn’t much believe in adding extra flavours to alcoholic beverages. If it doesn’t stand up on its own, it’s probably not worth drinking.
But he’s curious, watching you add cinnamon sticks and star anise and cardamom pods and cloves and orange slices to the wine as it starts to bubble away on the stove. And damned if it doesn’t smell divine.
You catch his nose twitching as the aroma develops. “What’s it smell like, baby?”
Jack closes his eyes and thinks. “Christmas.”
***
He’s left you to finish fixing the wine and has set a roaring fire in the stone hearth, lighting a couple of candles here and there, just the way you like it.
“Okay, love. I’ve got the mulled wine and some cookies, too.”
He takes a glass mug of the steaming beverage, wrapping an arm around you as you settle beside him on the sofa. You offer him a cookie - small, domed, coated in a thin white icing.
“Never seen these before, darlin’.” He picks up a cookie and looks at it, sniffing it cautiously.
“Lebkuchen.”
“Leb-what now?”
“Lebkuchen. Like a soft gingerbread cookie. They used to sell these with the glühwein at the German Christmas market back in the city, when I was a kid.”
Jack takes a bite and savours the honey-sweet spices as they send his tastebuds tingling. “Goddamn. That’s delicious, sugar.”
“Try the wine.”
He still looks sceptical, but the look in your big eyes would convince anyone. So he raises the mug to his perfect mouth and takes a sip.
“Well.” He turns to you. “Well, I’ll be. That’s perfect. Feel like it’s warmin’ me up all the way down to my toes.”
You beam and drink from your own mug, wriggling your toes contentedly. The light from the candles and the fire highlights the beautiful contours and hollows of Jack’s face, picking out golden accents in his coffee-brown eyes.
“You’re the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen, you know that?”
He pulls a bashful expression and flutters his eyelashes. “Gee, shucks.”
“I mean it! And you married me. Me!”
Jack’s eyebrows furrow, confused. “Because you’re the most beautiful and best woman I’ve ever met, darlin’.”
He takes another bite of the cookie. “And you make delicious lobcookins.”
You chuckle awkwardly and bury your face in his chest. “Uh…I may have bought some when I was in the city, before we came down here. So… not homemade.”
Jack feigns horror. “Not homemade?! Well, that’s just not good enough, sugar.”
He takes your mug and puts both of them down on the little side table, before leaning over and caging you with his arms.
“Now what am I supposed to do with you, huh?”
You giggle. “What would you like to do with me, baby?”
Jack’s eyes fall to your body, one hand sliding up and under the fabric of your plaid shirt and long-sleeved undervest. “Oh, I can think of a few things.”
“Tell me.”
He leans in and starts to nibble at your neck as his big hand finds the soft flesh of your breasts, caressing and groping as he hums happily against your throat. “I would like to play with your tits while I kiss your neck and slip a couple of fingers into your panties, darlin’.”
Right on cue, he brings his hand down to unbutton your jeans, and your hips buck upwards against him.
“I’d like to get you off a couple of times with my fingers, feel you all warmed up and ready for me.”
He slips his fingers into your jeans, pulling aside the soft cotton of your panties and finding your pussy as you whine with pleasure.
“Then what? Then what, Jack?”
He slips his fingers away and sits back up, gazing down at you, already halfway to wrecked and still (mostly) clothed.
“Why don’t I get some blankets on that nice hearth rug and I’ll show you, sugar?”

Advent Calendar
Beelzebub x Reader
Day 1: Advent Calander
25 Days of Ficmas Masterlist
~The Countdown to Christmas starts today, and you can’t wait to crack open the first door on your Advent Calander.
Tumblr media
On your last trip to the human world, you tore through several stores trying to find bits of holiday cheer to bring back for the Brothers, the other exchange students, and those in the Demon Lords Castle. While the Devildom does celebrate Christmas, there are many things that you could not find in the windows of Majolish.
One thing, in particular, was the cheap drugstore advent calendars. Nothing says Christmas is fast approaching like opening up one of the flimsy paper doors on the first day of December and enjoying your first daily chocolates.
There were so many options, you just had to buy a few to bring back for everyone as a little surprise.
With the other calendars stashed away till tomorrow, you take yours and place it in the kitchen, more focused on the treasure within rather than the dangers it is exposed to in there.
Excitedly you head up to bed knowing that the sooner you go to sleep, the sooner you can crack open the first door.
~
The dark sky looks a bit lighter in the mornings, especially since you have something to look forward to. Excitedly you slide on your slipper and rush to the kitchen to open the first door of your advent calendar.
But when you get to the kitchen you are surprised to see your advent calendar on the counter. Your brows furrow in confusion, Hopefully, you placed it there by mistake last night and no one has gotten into it.
But as you search for the first door you are surprised to see that it looks like it has been opened already. With a sigh, you pull back the little paper door. The emptiness on the other side is heartbreaking. The little chocolate is nowhere in sight.
Checking the other doors you see that all of the chocolates have been eaten. Dejectedly you take the now-empty calendar and walk over to the trash can.
Just as you are about to throw it away the double doors of the kitchen burst open. In walks Beel in his search to scrounge up a bit of food before breakfast is served.
"Good Morning Mc, did you sleep well?" He greets you with a smile. His orange hair still messy from sleep
He looks so adorable you smile back at the gentle giant despite the circumstances. "Good Morning Beel.
His light purple eyes look at the now empty chocolate advent calendar in your hands. "Those chocolates were Delicious MC. But the packaging was kinda strange. I almost ate the whole box trying to find them all."
"So you ate my Calendar?" you ask him as the realization hits you like a sleigh.
Out of everyone in the House, the avatar of gluttony is the most likely to take your food as a late-night snack. It makes you feel a bit stupid for not coming to this conclusion sooner.
A look of shame flashes across the demon's face as he nods. "I-I wasn't supposed to eat those, was I?"
Your gaze softens and you shake your head, "No, but it's okay Beel.”
“I’m really sorry Mc what was it?” He asks, his shoulders deflate and he truly looks sorry for what he did.
You gesture for him to follow you as you take the calendar and move over to the countertop so you can show him. “This is an advent calendar. Up until Christmas, you open a numbered door each day. Each chocolate has a different design on it.”
“I didn't see that they had any designs on them,” he says sullenly, his finges come to fiddle with the opened doors as if he is trying to figure out what was printed on the chocolates he had eaten in the middle of the night.
“It’s okay.” you say placing your smaller hand atop his larger one, “When I give you your calendar, you can see what is one each chocolate before you eat it.”
His eyes widen, “You’re giving me one?” A deep blush covers his features as his eyes bore into yours." Even after I ate yours?"
"Of course," you laugh. Through the look of admiration, he is giving you, you see something else thrashing around in his gaze.
Slamming his fist on the table he turns around and takes a deep breath. “I’m sorry, but I can’t accept your gift,” he says fighting what you think is a sniffle. “Please keep it for yourself to make up for my mistake.”
You nod It takes a lot for Beel to turn down food, especially since it's from you. “I understand Beel,” you say walking around to face the demon. “Are you sure you don’t want it?”
“No,” he gulps “Not when it meant so much to you.”
~
After Breakfast, you duck away to grab the calendars for everyone. After a brief explanation of what they are from you, you pass one out to each of them with the exception of Beel.
As all the brothers excitedly open the first door of their calendars showing off the different designs printed on their chocolates, you are surprised to see that Beel has stayed true to his word.
He has placed himself in the corner of the room and is trying his best to not look at the sweets that are being enjoyed.
Even though he had a huge breakfast the poor demon looks starved from the corner where he is sitting.
Grabbing your calendar you move to join him. “May I sit?” you ask. When he nods you join him and being to trace the front of the calendar with your fingers trying to find the first door.
When you find it, you gently open it up and plop out the first chocolate. Flipping it around you see the design is a fluffy little teddy bear wearing a scarf. It reminds you of Beel so much you chuckle.
“Is that a bear?” he asks as you nod taking the chocolate in your hands and breaking it into two pieces.
“For you,” you say holding out the half to him.
“A-are you sure?” he says
“Yes Beel, please take it,” you tell him encouragingly.
With your permission, he takes the half you're holding out to him with a shaky hand. He plops it into his mouth, his eyes close as he savors the flavor of the cheap chocolate.
You do the same. The nostalgia hits you like a ton of bricks as you smile thinking about the calendars you have gotten before.
“It’s delicious,” he says with a smile.
“Mmhmm” you hum spying a bit of chocolate on his bottom lip.
“What’s wrong?” he asks “Do I have something on my face?”
“Just a bit of chocolate,” you say with a giggle.
“Oh,” he chuckles, “Would you get it off for me?”
“Of course,” you grin mischievously. Planning to take a bit more than just the chocolate from his soft lips.

Waiting up for Santa
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the Tower, not a creature was stirring, except Beast Boy. He was making hot chocolate and was stirring quite a bit. The rest of the Titans were all snug in their beds, mostly because the city had been calm and Robin took the opportunity to crank up their training again. (Look do you want me to rhyme or do you want to hear the story…that’s what I thought.)
Beast Boy had plans, and a long winter’s nap was not part of them. He stood at the cooktop humming Rudolf the Red-nosed reindeer, barefoot and in his most festive pajamas. Everything was perfect. He had the living room all to himself, cookies were in the oven, and the tree was lit giving the room that unique warm glow that only a string of cheap Christmas lights can give it. In a few minutes, he was going to have everything he needed for a very special night.
He put the spoon down and carefully poured himself a cup of his hot creation, a handful of mini marshmallows for the cup minus a few he tossed into his mouth and it was done. It would have been easier to just heat some water in the microwave and open a packet. But it was Christmas eve, if there was any time to do this the old-fashioned way it was tonight. He took a sip and enjoyed the simple moment.
The oven beeped. He quickly put down his cup to get the cookies. Completely distracted by the oven. He didn’t notice that he was no longer alone. When he turned around holding a tray of cookies with reindeer oven mitts, he froze. Of all people, he didn’t expect to see Raven there with a bottle of water. She was still in her usual cloak and leotard a sharp contrast to her green friend wearing red and white PJs that said "Elf in training"
"Um hi Rae, up late?" Beast boy asking his voice squeaking slightly a stiff, strained smile on his face. He was caught cookie-handed. He didn't know what to say, 'this isn't what it looks like, It was exactly what it looked like. Why else on Christmas Eve would he be baking cookies with red and green M&Ms in them? Why else would there be hot cocoa on the stove, the couch layered with blankets and pillows? Why else would the coffee table be stacked with Christmas DVDs?
"And so are you." She said taking a drink from her water. Raven just stood not sure if she really wanted to know what was going on. The simple thing to do would be to take her water and go back to her room. She could forget about this ever happening and Beast Boy can do whatever his jolly-green elf-self wanted. One more odd thing in this tower wouldn’t make much of a difference. It was his face though, the look on his face was that of a child that had just been caught. That mix of nervous laughter, panic, and guilt. Pushing that aside, she turned to leave the room, doing her best to ignore her jittery friend, his cookies, and the reindeer oven mitts.
"Raven, could we keep this between us?" Beast Boy asked
That's when the switch flipped. What was there to keep? Beast Boy had done far stranger things. Why on earth would Beast Boy want to keep this of all things a secret? She was not sure what "this" was, but he had never been shy about his antics. Cyborg and Starfire would have gladly joined him to binge Christmas movies and baked goods. You would think she caught him watching porn, instead of Frosty the Snowman .
"I can, but I'm not seeing why?"
"Dude! You just caught me waiting up for Santa Claus. I'll never hear the end of this!"
That's when she turned to face him.
"Beast Boy, you think that overweight, magical gentleman, that flies by sleigh pulled by reindeer is going to come down a chimney that we do not have, to give you presents?" She asked trying to remember if Beast Boy hit his head recently.
"No." He said defeated "I can explain, there's a lot more to…this." he gestured around the room then his outfit. His eyes fell back to the tray cookies he was still holding "Do you want a cookie? "
Walking away was still an option but her curiosity was peaked and this seemed innocent enough. She took a seat at the kitchen table. He sat down across from her, putting the cookie sheet on the table between them.
"So why are you baking M&M cookies in the dead of night?"
"Because I'm not a fan of gingerbread men?" He said with a stiff smile. Raven's only response was to take a cookie from the tray and break it in half in front of him.
His shoulders dropped "The first year I was with the Doom patrol, I woke up at dawn for Christmas, I was an excited kid, I woke up the whole house. I didn’t know at the time, but It pissed off Steve something fierce. Rita had an idea. The next year said we were going to be naughty and we're going to wait up for Santa so we made cookies and watched Christmas movies together we stayed up late. I eventually passed out on the couch sometime during Miracle on 34th street. " The memory tugged a small smile onto his face. "It became our thing each year. Even after I figured out Santa wasn't real. Even after I figured out that Steve wanted to sleep in on Christmas day."
Raven just sat there. What could anyone say to this?
"I know this is goofy and childish, but I didn’t want to let that go yet." He said. "That” he pulled off the oven mitts “and now Rita is gone, It's up to me to make the cookies. "
She wished that she had gone back to her room when she had the chance, she was intruding on a memory. This was not just some one-man pajama party Beast Boy was throwing for himself.
"I won't tell anyone. " She said after a few moments. "But you do not need to keep this a secret."
"You don't think this is weird?"
"We live with an Alien from another world, a man that is a half-machine, my father is an interdimensional demon, and yesterday morning we fought a man dressed up as a 6-foot moth." She took a small bit of the cookie in her hand. "Weird is relative."
"Thanks, Rae," He said, getting up from the table bringing the cookies into the living room, and putting them next to the DVD tower. He flopped onto the couch, adjusting the pillows. Then he turned his head back toward the kitchen. "If you like you could stay. I made plenty of hot chocolate." he had picked up one of the DVD cases to give his hands something to do. "I am just starting Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer."
"No," She said flatly the words hit the air and she could feel the disappointment off Beast boy. It was like a sudden chill that runs up your nerves.
Beast Boy gave her a weak smile and turned back toward the tv.
"We'll start with A Christmas Carol," she said slowly coming around the couch to sit down a few cushions away.
Beast Boy’s eyes went wide in mild shock. He reached for the DVDs almost fumbling them over. "Okay! um... but the Muppet version?"
"If you insist!"
“Thanks, Rae!” Beast Boy said as he jumped from his seat to swap the DVDs.
“Beast Boy, I am staying for one movie and a cookie. Just this once, then I will let you have your little ritual. I am not going to be up all night with you.”
“Okay! Whatever you say, Rae!” He said as he pressed play on the remote control, quickly jumping back into his seat.
Of course, one movie led to another, then another. Soon the cookies were gone and the few remaining sips of hot chocolate had gone cold. The two heroes were both fast asleep wrapped in blankets as the Snowmiser sang on the screen.
=========Years later and in a living room far far away.========
"Is She out?" Raven whispered.
“Fast asleep” Beast Boy said as he carefully stood up, holding their daughter. Melody had spent most of the night sitting in her father’s lap. The young girl had crashed hard after a night of sugar and singing along with every Christmas song, from every movie that they had watched.
“I'm proud of her,” he said in a hushed tone. “She made it through Nightmare this time.” He carefully repositioned the young girl in green feety pajamas against his chest letting her rest her head on his shoulder. “I am surprised she fell asleep when Santa Claus coming to town started. Mel loves that one."
"She will watch it again tomorrow," Raven said as she started to arrange the pillows and blankets for the young girl. "Several times if last year was any indication."
Melody's parents carefully laid her on the couch and tucked her in. They had promised to let her wait near the tree for Santa. They did have to talk her out of setting up motion detectors and a camera. An idea that her uncle Dick put in her head.
"I guess that's the end of that, there is no room on the couch for us now. "
"No, But we do happen to have a perfectly good and warm bed upstairs." She said hugging him from behind. " and it is officially Christmas. If you like, you can open your present."
"I hope you got me the same thing as you did last year, I really enjoyed that."
Raven took one of his hands and helped guide it under the waist of her pajama bottoms. He could feel that unmistakable texture of silk lace covering her hip. She could feel his excitement, pulling his hand away before it could start exploring. He had to remind himself that there was a sleeping child in that room. It was the only thing keeping him from taking her on the floor right underneath the Christmas tree.
"Finish up here, give me 5 minutes, and come up. " She said before pressing a kiss into the back of his neck before departing.
Beast Boy quickly cleared the coffee table then checked on Melody one more time. Kissing her crown of dark hair. This yearly tradition had evolved, It expanded but it was still about the same thing.
Santa didn't show that year, or the one before or the one before that. And that was ok. It was Raven that gave him the greatest gift he ever received: love, acceptance, and a family. Three things he thought he'd never have.
Beast Boy started humming to himself to the tune of frosty the snowman leaving his child snuggled in for her long winter nap. The warm embrace of his loving wife, her body decorated in lace, and silk was waiting for him.
=============================================
What? A holiday story that is actually close to the holiday that is coming up? Most of the time I think of these things I end up posting them in August. This one like many took me a while. I would like to thank @lilytimbers for her help in reviewing this and for the loan of their BBrae OC Melody. She has created some amazing art. Thank you Lilly.

12 Days of Rowaelin Day 7 - A Surprise Visit
Masterlist
Based on the prompt:
I didn’t know you would be at my house talking to my roommate, so I came down the stairs singing Christmas songs and now I’m embarrassed because you joined me in last Christmas
- 1112 words
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE ALL THE WAY!” Aelin laughed as she shouted/sang the words as she floated around the kitchen, much to the chagrin of her cousin, who almost immediately shouted, “SHUT UP!”, from his place in the living room.
“OH WHAT FUN IT IS TO RIDE IN A ONE HORSE OPEN SLEIGH.” She danced around, preparing her lunch. Mac and cheese was on the menu, and it was almost ready.
“AELIN!” He yelled, and she heard him get up and move toward the room she was in, making her snort. She was about to start singing again when he appeared, his face red.
“How many times do I have to tell you that I don’t want to hear you singing?” Aedion asked rhetorically. Aelin pouted teasingly.
“Well I don’t want to hear you scream at every football game you blare throughout the house, but I haven’t complained have I?” Her tone turned sardonic and she stared him down, eyebrows raised. He just scoffed and scooped out some of her Mac and cheese from the pot, ignoring her cry of outrage.
“Gods, why did I ever agree to move in here.” She shook her head and took the pot away from him.
“Because you needed the cheap rent,” he grunted and she glared at him.
“I’m regretting my decision.” Aelin moved some food into her own bowl and snatched it up, storming past him.
She smirked as she moved out to the living room.
“JINGLE BELLS JINGLE BELLS!” Aelin cackled and ran up the stairs before her cousin could attack her.
Once in her room, she flipped the switch to turn on the lights she had set up all around. A sigh of happiness escaped her mouth and she beamed at all the holiday cheer. Gods, she loved Christmas.
She sat down on her bed and scarfed down her mac and cheese, blaring a Hallmark movie and relaxing against her headboard.
But thirty minutes later, she was restless again, feeling the need to go do something. So she turned off the TV and grabbed her empty bowl, standing up and making her way back out to the hallway. And of course, she had to sing.
“LAST CHRISTMAS, I GAVE YOU MY HEART!” Her voice wasn’t good by any means, singing never having been a strong suit of hers, but it was only Aedion around and if he was annoyed by it it was only another plus.
“BUT THE VERY NEXT DAY, YOU GAVE IT AWAY!” She plopped down the stairs one at a time, swinging her arms wildly as she sang. “THIS YEAR TO SAVE ME FROM TEA-”
Aelin froze midstep, mouth half open. Because standing in the living room was a man who was most certainly not her cousin.
And he was hot. Silvery hair and green eyes, tan skin and a black tattoo wrapping around his muscular body… Her mouth went dry. But then her cheeks immediately went aflame. Gods, she just completely embarrassed herself.
“I’ll give it to someone special,” the man sang, finishing her phrase. Aelin stood still, mouth opening and closing as she searched for something to say. He was looking at her kind of expectantly, but she was too distracted and too mortified to come up with a suitable response.
Luckily, she was saved by Aedion walking back in from the kitchen, carrying two beers in his hands.
“Oh Rowan, I see you’ve met my cousin.”
Rowan. His name was Rowan.
“Not yet, she just walked in.” His voice was deep, rumbling, and it made her shiver involuntarily.
“Well, this is Aelin,” Aedion replied, gesturing to her, “sorry if you had to listen to her ‘caroling’.” He shot her a mock glare, obviously goading her, but Aelin was too embarrassed to reciprocate.
She just nodded meekly in greeting, face still bright red.
“Hi, Aelin, nice to meet you,” Rowan said, smirking at her obvious sheepishness.
“Hi,” she squeaked out, looking to Aedion in question. She’d met most of her cousin’s friends from college and Rowan was not one she’d seen before. Aelin would’ve remembered if she had.
Despite being two years younger, a sophomore in college instead of a senior, she got along with most of Aedion’s friend group. She was confident in herself, pretty forward and extraverted, but right now she felt like the shy middle schooler she used to be.
“We got paired up for a project for history,” Aedion clarified, “so I asked him to come over so we can work on it.”
Aelin pursed her lips and looked down at the ugly Christmas sweater she was wearing. Why couldn’t he have given her more warning that his gorgeous classmate was coming over?
“Well, have fun. I’m going to get some more food.” Her voice was still tight and she avoided making eye contact with Rowan as she raced into the kitchen and away from them.
She took a deep breath and leaned against the counter, prepared to hide in there until he left.
But eventually she just grabbed a box of crackers and snuck back upstairs quickly, wanting to go back into her cave and forget that this encounter ever happened. Unfortunately, she met Rowan’s gaze this time and blushed more at his smile. It was light and seemed genuine, and it made her insides melt.
When she was safe back in her room, she turned the hallmark movie back on, cocooning herself in her blankets and moping.
It wasn’t until she was almost done with her second movie in a row when Aedion knocked on the door.
“He’s gone,” he said through the wood. Aelin grunted in response and he took it as a sign to enter the room. Aedion laughed at her blanket fortress and at the glare she was shooting his way.
“Why did you do that to me,” she whined, covering her face with a pillow. “That was so embarrassing.”
“Think of it as payback for your terrible performance earlier.” She scoffed and looked away, but he kept talking. “If it’s any consolation,” he added, “he asked for your Instagram.” Aelin removed the pillow and stared up at him, eyes wide.
“Did you give it to him?” She breathed, hope blooming in her chest.
He nodded reluctantly, “With a warning to tread carefully.” She scoffed again but let a smile creep onto her lips. “He’s a good guy, though,” he continued with a teasing sigh, “He’d probably put up with your screeching more than me.”
And sure enough, a few minutes later she got a notification on her phone that had her scrambling to check it. Joy bloomed in her chest.
warnings: inaccurate/alternate portrayal of jamie from love & other drugs, teasing, curse words, smut, mutual masturbation, edging, orgasm control, begging, sir kink, mentions of alcohol, mentions of christmas (nothing religious, don’t worry!).
i might watch love & other drugs again you know, for science! thank you for this wonderful request! <3
“I don’t know if you’re playing a game or if you forgot the definition of the word subtle. Either way, I enjoy the view.”
You turned around and your eyes met with the one and only stranger you made out with at this same bar last week, and the week before and the other week before that... His name? You had no clue. You did not care. He was hot, he had a good kissing game; and you were sad your friend with whom you went to the bar with always stopped you at the bad time.
“That’s all you do, enjoying the view.” You reply, your eyebrow arched on your forehead when you caught him checking you out. You were a dark red dress, it hugged your curves beautifully. You might have accidentally pulled it up a bit too high, revealing most of your thighs. That is without mentioning the cleavage, you could have used a size bigger. “I’m starting to believe you’re all talk no action. What a waste.” Your finger caressed his sharp jawline, teasing him.
“And somebody went too hard on the eggnog.”
The bar hosted a Christmas themed party. Although, the only holiday-related elements were the cheap decorations and that strange dude that had garland wrapped around his neck like a scarf. That, and the fact Mariah Carey’s song was playing again and again to the point everyone was leaving to try and protect their intoxicated brain cells.
Before you knew, Jamie crashed his lips against yours, almost brutally. His hands went to grope the curve of your ass. That was when he pulled away, a frown on his perfect face. “This is an express ticket for the naughty list.”
“I’d rather think of it as a sleigh ride to your bed, Sir.”
His jaw clenched, blood shot right through his hardening cock and your heart started to race. The nickname alone gave him enough motivation to grab you by the wrist, firmly but not too much, urge you to grab your coat and leave the bar.
The cold air outside did not stop you from feeling hot inside. His eyes darkened when he caught your figure under the street light. “Game on, baby girl.”
*~*~*
“Five. For the five times I looked at you tonight and you ignored me.” Jamie spanked your already Christmas red bottom, pulling out of you in one fast movement.
“Jesus Christ!” You were screaming at this point. It was your fifth edge of the night, and you had barely made it to his apartment.
The first one happened against the door when you were both exploring each other’s body. The second one was against the arm rest of the couch, his fingers were inside you this time. The third one was when he had you on your knees, fucking your face while he forced you to rub your clit at the same rhythym as his hips. The fourth one was on the corner of his messy bed, when he finally thrusted his thick cock inside of your demanding cunt.
And there you were, caged under his body as he pressed against you, your front against the mattress and your back against his sweaty chest. “What do we say? Are you such a dumb slut you forgot already?”
“Please, Sir, please!” Tears were pooling in your eyes at the frustration of not being able to release yourself. Your orgasm felt like an elastic band, ready to snap at any moment.
Another slap on your ass, this one was louder than your frustrated moans. “That’s what I thought, I fucked your brains out and we’re barely getting started.”
You rolled your eyes. His cockiness only added to your pleasure. “Thank you, thank you, thank you.” You rectified.
Jamie rewarded you by bottoming out in your pussy, without any warning. “That’s a good girl, she’s finally learning!”
The night continued, or, well the morning. The sun was piercing through the window when he helped you on your arms and knees. You were weak and wobbly, you only wanted this to end, but the strength in his thrust told you he had other plans.
Jamie edged you for three more times. His reasons made less and less sense. You were lucid enough to understand he was to close to his own peak to keep going. “Beg me to let you cum. Beg real good and I might have mercy.”
He switched the two of you to your last position, with you riding his cock with all the energy you had left. The switch of power made it even more intense for the two of you. “Please, Sir, fuck! I need to cum so bad, please, please!” You were barely coherent, but by the moans you pulled out of him, you knew you were doing a good job. “I won’t tease you ever again, I promise! Sir, please, just let cum! Just once!” Your voice was shaking, like your legs as you were impaling yourself on his dick, hitting your sweet spot whenever he met your movements.
“Cum for me.” He mouthed, you could barely hear him. Jamie released himself at the same time as you did.
The feeling of being full of him and full of his warm cum sent you directly into a second orgasm. You screamed curse words and moans. You could not care less about the noise complaints Jamie would get. Judging by his dick game, it was not his first rodeo. Quite literally.
“Hey, hey, breathe, it’s okay, I got you.” Jamie reached up to you, helping you as you lowered yourself on his body. His shaft throbbed and twitched inside of your still clenching walls, milking him to the very last drop.
*~*~*
You found yourself dazed, eyelids closing on their own and surrounded by soft foam.
He was sitting behind you, gently running his soapy hands over your shoulders and moving his legs to give you more space in the bath.
It surprised you, just how fast he could switch to being almost cruel and then acting like an angel. You let out a soft chuckle at the thought. “Thank you, Sir.” You spoke, filling the comfortable silence.
“My name is Jamie,” he chuckled, finally introducing himself after all of this. “But keep calling me Sir and I might take you up for a second round.”
How Jeff Killed Christmas
by Afroh13
Now that's what i'm talking about, baybeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...!
A CHRISTMAS POEM. ABOUT JEFF. LET'S GO HAVE SOME HOLIDAY FUN! Also canonically this is shortly after his first canon death because it would've been very funny if he got an aversion for christmas after he died on christmas that one time
cw// organs, stabbing, blood, death
Click below to read the original unedited story
Well, hello there, Readers young and old, You're in for quite a treat, A true tale to behold.
As you can see, With a title such as this, I will tell you the tale, Of how Jeff killed Christmas.
It all started late, On a silent Christmas Eve, And our favorite killer, Jeff, Had something up his sleeve.
Seeing that it was Christmas, Jeff wanted to do something new, Something extra special, But, what was he to do?
Just then, he heard something, His feet made him pause, He slowly turned to see, A fake, drunken Santa Clause.
The wheels started turning, Jeff had a plan, He clutched the knife in his pocket, And that's when it began.
Old Saint Nick saw Jeff, Heading strait his way, Maybe he could get a dollar, From Mr. Jeff today.
"Hey, buddy, wanna help me out? Now, don't go bein' cheap." Jeff lunged at the man saying, "Go to sleep."
He slit Santas throat, While he squirmed and thrashed, But there was no escaping, Being cut and being slashed.
The drunk fell to the ground, With a noticeable thud His pupils started to widen, As he choked on his blood.
Jeff grabbed Santas suite, Soaked with crimson water, That's when he knew, He could start his Christmas slaughter.
When he achieved his looked, He was on his way, But not before he hijacked Santas car, Or, I mean, his sleigh.
He drove threw a small neighborhood, Rather quiet and kind, The perfect setting for what, Jeff was planning in his mind.
His plan was to sneak into each home, All of the parents he'd kill, Murdering almost the whole neighborhood, To get his holiday thrill.
Jeff chuckled maniacally, Stopping at the first house on the block, At how upset this town would be, Boy, would they be in for a shock.
He could just imagine it, All of the children on Christmas day, To see that mommy and daddy, Were some twisted psychos prey.
He got out of the car, And trudged through the snow, Then he scaled the side of the house, Up to somebodys window.
Through the window, he saw the parents, Dreaming their Christmas dreams, "It's a little too quiet in there, Let's see if I can't get 'em to scream."
He snuck through the window, And crouched by the bed, He withdrew his knife, And balanced it on daddys head.
He poked at daddy dearest, Who awoke to the face of evil, The man let out a gasp of fear, "Yeah. I have that effect on people."
Jeff slammed the knife through his skull, The mother screamed and tried to run, But Jeff caught up and gutted her, He seemed to be having a lot of fun.
When he was done with the mother, He wrote his slogan on the wall, But then he heard little footsteps, Making there way down the hall.
He shot out of the room, Then he slammed the door, He couldn't let the child see, His masterpiece of gore.
In the hallway he met, A young little girl, With eyes a bright blue, And hair of blonde curl.
The girl looked at Jeff, All dressed in Santas gear, Her eyes lit up with excitement, And her voice filled with cheer.
"Santa! I can't believe it's you!" This was the best moment of her life, Then she looked to his side, and asked, "What are you doing with that knife?"
"It's, uh, for cutting the turkey. I'm making sure it's fresh for tomorrow." She glared at the knife again and said, "I've got a better one for you to borrow."
She led him to the kitchen, And opened up the drawer, His eyes were fixated on a knife, That he just couldn't ignore.
The monstrous knife with a serrated edge, Put his bloody weapon to shame, He pulled it from the drawer thinking, 'This will be better for my reindeer game.'
"Will this work for you Santa? Did I help you out?" Jeff patted the girls head with praise, And said "Without a doubt."
He sent the girl back to bed, And made his way out of the door, He hopped in his car and continued, With his night of unspeakable horror.
From home to home he went, Having a ball with his slaughter, Leaving behind a special present, For every son and every daughter.
He decorated the trees with intestines, And filled their stockings with eyes, He made quick work of the parents, Making sure the kids couldn't hear their cries.
He propped up his victims, On the couch in the living room, Placing their heads in their laps, Making a rather picturesque tomb.
By the time he had finished, He could see the early light of day, He ditched the costume, got in the car, And ended his night of horrid play.
His first annual Christmas killing, Was very brutal, I must confess, But we all know, that in his eyes, He saw it as his greatest success.
That small town won't be the same, They will forever live in fear, Because in the back of their minds, they know, That he'll do the same thing every year.
So, for those of you who live, In a town of small population, Be warned and prepare, For a night of gore and devastation.
Sleep with a gun, lock everything up, And don't forget this little thriller, If you don't want to be the next victim, Of the infamous, Jeff the killer.
