December 9th - December 17th 2023
Ok a long multi-day post. Let's see how much I remember. What are you gonna do I was on vacation and traveling.
December 9th:
I found out in the morning that our reef tour was canceled. When we went to the counter the lady said that a cyclone off the coast was causing unsafe conditions. Oh well. We booked another tour that wasn't too far out. It was a tour to Green Island. It wasn't too bad. We got to see the reefs and I saw a sea turtle. Freaking large animals. I ran into some people I met at the conference the week before.
We came back in the afternoon. I went for a run. We got dinner at a pizza place. We then had a drink at a roof top bar. It was great.
December 10th:
We woke up early to catch a flight to Brisbane to head to Gold Coast. We had to take a train from the airport to Gold Coast. It was a 3 hour long ride. Got cheap dinner nearby the hotel and decided to enjoy our hotel room. It had a view of the ocean.
December 11th:
We decided to walk around and explore the southern part of Gold Coast. We stopped by a breakfast place and got some late breakfast. After we walked through a tropical forest park. It was cool seeing some of the wildlife.
Then after we decided to checkout a place where wild koalas were living. We got to see couple wild koalas and checked out a wildlife sanctuary.
After we grabbed a beer by the beach and headed back to figure out for dinner. We decided to get pho. At the end of the day we clocked in 35,000 steps.
December 12th:
Woke up and got breakfast a nearby cafe. We then decided to checkout this place where they had wild kangaroos running around. It was an hour bus ride. But we got to see some wild kangaroos.
It was pretty cool. I mean growing up in North America you only saw them in zoos, but to see it in the wild was neat. After we checked out the north part of Gold Coast and got a snack. We came back to the hotel and rested up for dinner. We got burgers and then after we stopped by a bar and got a drink.
December 13th:
Had to wake up and leave early to catch the train to catch the plane. It was mostly travel day. We landed back in Sydney and checked out Centennial Park. It was like their Central Park. For dinner we went to Lord Dudley's Hotel. We came back early and watched some Peaky Blinders.
December 14th:
It was going to be a hot day so planned on spending most of the day indoors. I booked a Sydney Opera House tour. It was cool seeing the inside of the Opera house. I've always seen the outside in pictures but never got to seeing it up close and inside. After the tour I figured we should watch a concert so I bought tickets to a Christmas concert for Friday.
After we got lunch and we headed to the museum of contemporary art. We spent a couple hours there. Then we headed back to our hotel to wait out the heat. After when it cooled down just a bit, we then headed to Bondi Beach. We walked around and just enjoyed the scenery.
We came back and had a snack and some drinks at the hotel. We then walked over to Harry's Cafe De Wheels. Apparently it's a famous Australian fast food joint. It was ok. They had meat pies or whatever. We came back after and watched some more peaky blinders.
December 15th:
Last Day in Sydney so we decided to checkout their zoo. It wasn't a big zoo so we saw everything in 4 hours. Great views of the city.
After we came back and got some snacks at a mall food court. It wasn't too bad. We came back to our hotel and got ready for dinner. For dinner I made a reservation at Chiswick Woollhara. It was a place that Anthony Bourdain visited before. it was a nice restaurant.
Then after we headed to the Sydney Opera House for the concert. It was a fun concert and the choir and the orchestra was great. I am glad that we got to see a concert there.
We headed back to the hotel and started to pack.
December 16th:
Woke up and headed to the airport. It was a travel day. Landed back in SFO around 7AM. Caught my flight back to SD and came in around 10AM. After I unpacked my stuff and rested up. The wife landed around 1 PM and I picked her up and then we picked up our dog. After we lounged around and we went to a holiday party that one of the wife's friend was hosting. Came home and watched more Peaky Blinders.
December 17th:
Woke up around the usual time. Went to church. Had lunch and met someone who was a potential to sit our dog. He wasn't a good match. In the afternoon we walked the dog and lounged around the house. Made some Aperol spritz and probably have a late dinner and watch some Peaky Blinders. Good vacation. now back to reality.

Eastern Suburbs Bathroom Renovations
If you are looking to have your bathroom renovated, then it is essential that you contact a reputable and qualified company that specialises in eastern suburbs bathroom renovations. These specialists will be able to complete your project in a timely manner and within your budget.
One of the top home improvement projects in the eastern suburbs of Sydney is modern bathroom renovations. A refurbished bathroom can increase the value of your home and attract prospective buyers.
There are many things to consider when renovating your bathroom. First, you should look for a reputable company that is licensed, insured and experienced. Secondly, you will want to take into account the size of your budget. You don't want to spend more than you need to on your next renovation project.
The latest trend in contemporary design is seamless continuation of tiles. This will bring the outdoors into your bathroom without making it feel cramped.
Bathrooms also require plenty of light to perform their duties. In Sydney, you'll find many skylights on the market. Using the best skylight for your needs can help add to the overall beauty and ambiance of your bathroom.
Backlit mirrors are a great way to give your powder room or master bathroom a little luxury. These lighting solutions provide soft and warm tones. They can also boost the functionality of your vanity, while still enhancing the look of your bathroom.
If you're planning a move to Sydney, there are many factors you should consider before you choose to live in the eastern suburbs. This region is home to some of the most luxurious and affluent houses in the city. But, with a growing demand for housing, it can be tough to find a place that's affordable for you.
In order to get an idea of what it will cost you to live in the Eastern Suburbs, we've taken a look at the housing markets in some of the most popular neighborhoods. From soaring skyscrapers to quaint coastal towns, each of the areas offers something special.
The city's eastern suburbs are known for their beautiful beaches and spectacular parks. They are also home to some of the city's most affluent residents. Nevertheless, they're still not cheap. For example, a one-bedroom apartment in Sydney's CBD costs $550-$700 a week.
There are several reasons for the high prices. Demand for housing is up due to immigration. And, many new entrants are coming from the Central Coast. As a result, housing prices are increasing.
The Eastern Suburbs of Sydney is the slowest commute to work in the city. According to the NSW Government, they have many urgent infrastructure needs. Tim Trumper, Chairman of the NRMA, said that community participation would be critical to creating better outcomes.
There are two main Sydney traffic peak periods. During the mornings, peak hours are between 7:30am and 9:30am, while during the afternoons they are between 2:30pm and 7:00pm. While peak periods vary by region, they are generally consistent for major roads in the city.
For those looking for an alternative to the usual Sydney traffic peak hours, there are a few options. One is the Lane Cove Tunnel, a 3.6-kilometre twin tunnel that connects the Gore Hill Freeway to the M2. A second option is the Eastern Distributor, a 4.7-kilometre motorway that links the central business district with the airport. This road is a part of the 110-kilometre Sydney Orbital Network.
One of the most important connections in the network is the Lane Cove Tunnel. It provides motorists with a faster journey time to north-west Sydney.
If you're visiting the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, you'll find a wide range of great places to park. Whether you want to relax in the shade at a grassy area, watch the sunset over the city, or take a stroll along the water's edge, there are plenty of options to choose from.
One of the most popular beaches in the Eastern Suburbs is Manly. However, you'll need to be prepared to park. During the day, parking can cost around $18 for an hour, and at night, it can be much more expensive. For overnight parking, it will cost about $40.
Cronulla is another of the most iconic beaches in the city, and one of the most popular surf spots. However, parking is not as easy as it is at other popular beaches in the city. Parking can be expensive and there is only a limited amount of space.
Balmoral Beach is also a popular beach. In peak season, parking will cost about $35. But during the cooler months, you'll only pay about $8 for an hour. The beach is easily accessible via public transport. To know more about Eastern Suburbs Bathroom Renovations, visit the Eastern Suburbs Bathroom Renovations website or call 0415902838.

Apparently it's against the rules to kiss/be affectionate in Adelaide Zoo because it angers and distresses the animals. Perhaps NZ got a little handsy with OZ during a visit and he literally shoves him off XD
(Fml Jack you always give me the most cursed ideas but this was too funny not to write about u3u, also get out of my ask box I swear you're constantly here-)
Rating: K
Pairings: New Zealand/Australia (Nzoz)
Variation: Canon
---
"Please? Just one kiss?"
Jett sent him a withering look from over his shoulder, grinding his teeth as he thought about how to respond to the whiny New Zealander that stood in front of him.
"No James, it's against the rules."
【Don't Kiss me at Adelaide Zoo】
Whenever James visits him, Jett is fairly convinced that James only comes to Australia to see the selection of animals. And to see him of course, but if he had to choose between saving Jett or saving a rare Hairy-nosed Wombat, Jett stood hardly any chance.
In order to make some light of the situation, Jett always made sure to take James to a zoo or wildlife park. This visit in particular had started out as any other, James arriving on his delayed Air New Zealand flight from Auckland to Sydney. Proceeding to absolutely smother the Australian he'd missed so dearly in hard to breath cuddles and kisses, these sessions could go on for hours. They never failed to gain a few off handed stares from other Airport goers that passed them. Over the years Jett had warmed up to the action of having the breath squeezed out of him affectionately.
They usually stayed in Sydney, Jett concluding that a trip down to Adelaide would at least give them a change of scenery. Of course, Adelaide Zoo seemed like the go too place to take James. You can imagine his surprise when they're stood at the gates together and James blinked at him, a little dumbly.
"Aus, darlin, where are we?"
Jett was rather dumbfounded as he just stared at James. The Kiwi seemed genuinely confused.
"James. We're stood in front of a sign, with the giant letters, A-D-E-L-A-I-D-E-Z-O-O"
"I thought we were goin' to the movies-"
"Why on earth would I take you all the way to South Australia for a movie?!"
"I dunno! You said we were goin' to see somethin! So I thought movies..." James paused like he'd remembered something from the war. At least something along those lines with the fear on his face. "Just so you know Kookaburra, there's at least 2 tons of popcorn in the back of your car."
"I'm sorry wha-"
Before Jett can continue however, he's dragged into the gates of the Zoo. Perhaps a diversion of sorts because lord knows that James knew the argument that would follow when they got back to the carpark.
---
It might seem strange, James supposes, for him to be so fascinated by Jett's eyes. The Australian only giving him a odd look as they stand against the fences that border the Tiger enclosure. Perhaps he had never gotten the chance to look at them properly, they're a beautiful chartreuse green. Somehow they were more breath taking than the striped big cat that strolled along it's enclosure.
"You're staring again, you know..."
Jett diverted his attention from the Tiger over to the lovestruck Kiwi next to him. It wasn't abnormal for James to be hit with these kind of lovestruck trances.
"Oh I know, I just can't help the fact your eyes are so perfect~"
Jett just rolled his eyes but his face said otherwise. Giving him a very fond smile and a light pink blush to his response.
"Please, your chat lines are cheap."
James rested his hand on the railing before fully turning to Jett, Jett's peripheral vision catching James about to lean in for a kiss. Feeling a hand caress his waist and slide across his hips. Almost like his flight or fight responses kick in when he's yanked towards James, he let out a yell of distress and cupped James's mouth with his hand while James was mere centimeters away from his face.
"MMH?!"
James just stared at him in shock, looking down at Jett's fingers then back up at the flustered Australian who had just denied him his kiss. The fear on Jett's face only making him more confused.
"DON'T-!"
Their gazes meet for a spilt second before Jett quickly looked away from him, pushing James back with his fingers on his rough lips. "D-don't kiss me...not here..."
"Whot?! Why?!" his voice was muffled against Jett's palm, barely audible at this point.
"You just can't James-"
"Koala bear?! Normally you love my public affection! That time we made out at SeaWorld and got kicked out!"
"That's the point-" Jett hissed softly at him like he was giving him some kind of classified information that no one else could hear about. He was certainly acting like it too, the way his head tilted back to look around for other visitors, to see if anyone had seen them.
"Please? Just one kiss?"
Jett sent him a withering look from over his shoulder, grinding his teeth as he thought about how to respond to the whiny New Zealander that stood in front of him.
"No James, it's against the rules."
"Against...the rules?! What rules?!"
There's a heavy sigh that the Australian lets out when he finally looked back up at James.
"It's against Australian law to be affectionate near captive animals. They could become jealous, anxious or aggressive. That then leads to them causing disturbance, or worse, harm to other zoo goers."
James just stared at him like he was mentally processing the overload of information that simulated his brain to, figuratively explode. Like a computer with limited space and storage that would break almost on command.
For some reason James just imagined a very angry koala attempting to scratch out his eyes. Which amused him to some extent, making him chuckle and grin.
"So I can't kiss you?"
"No-"
James winced quietly when Jett released him from his restraints. Giving him a rather sheepish smirk all of a sudden.
"Fine. But as soon as we get back to the car, I'm making out with you."
The Australian let out a small snort like he was kidding about that, unfortunately for him, James wasn't kidding.
Jett was suffocated in love once again, in Adelaide Zoo carpark.

Saturday 2nd February 2019
Port Melbourne has now been left behind and happily we are now motorists again. We collected a blue Mitsubishi ASX SUV kind of vehicle from Melbourne Airport and set off for Sydney. We were talking to someone the other day who managed Sydney from Melbourne in 10.5 hours. We are making a little more of this journey by taking a little longer, 15 days. But we will go the pretty route. The big problem we had today was the knowledge we were heading out into the sticks, and before you voluntarily leave civilisation behind, certain provisions need to be bought and stashed. To this end we broke our journey to our first cottage at Fish Creek by stopping at Coles in Dandenong to take on supplies such as a rubbery chicken and BBQ type food. Now in addition to the name, this is a funny old place. Very different ethnically. The bakery also had its name in irdhu. Nonetheless they had all we needed and the wine was also cheap. Now let me tell you, the digs for the next 3 nights are fantastic. We are in the Loft House outside of Fish Creek. It is a cottage set in its own grounds with amazing views across open countryside. It's all wood, log fire, huge windows, verandah and open plan. We could live here. Magic sitting eating our BBQd sausages, sweetcorn, baked potato, salad and chicken, washed down with bubbly supplied by our unseen host.
Fish Creek is the gateway to Wilson's Promontory National Park with its unspoilt wilderness and beaches. Established in 1884 during the building of the Great Southern railway line, it derived its name from the abundant black fish and mountain trout found locally. Over the next couple of days we shall enjoy Loft House, and explore the Prom as it is referred to locally. There is only one concern really. On the list of things to do in the region, the lighthouse features in the top few!

Stress-Free Airport Parking Sydney: The Off-Site Advantage
Travelling, whether for business or leisure, can be exciting, but getting to and from the airport often brings unnecessary stress, particularly when it comes to parking. On-site airport parking can be frustrating with long waits, high costs, and the uncertainty of finding a spot. Fortunately, there’s a stress-free and affordable alternative: off-site airport parking Sydney.
The Drawbacks of On-Site Airport Parking
At first glance, parking directly at the airport might seem convenient. However, it comes with several challenges. Airports are busy places, especially during peak travel times, making the search for a parking spot difficult. You might find yourself driving around in circles, wasting valuable time before you even step into the terminal.
Besides, on-site airport parking is notoriously expensive. The closer the lot is to the terminal, the higher the cost. For long trips, leaving your car in the airport’s long-term lot can result in a surprisingly large bill, adding an extra, often unexpected, expense to your trip.
Why Off-Site Airport Parking is a Better Option
Off-site airport parking facilities offer a much-needed solution to the issues associated with on-site parking. Located just a short distance from the airport, these facilities provide a range of benefits designed to make your travel experience easier and more cost-effective.
1. Cost Savings: One of the most significant advantages of off-site airport parking is the cost. These facilities typically offer much more affordable rates compared to on-site options. Whether you’re parking for a few days or a few weeks, off-site parking can save you a substantial amount of money. Many off-site providers also offer discounts or loyalty programs, further reducing your parking expenses.
2. Stress Reduction: Parking off-site can significantly reduce the stress associated with airport parking. Many facilities allow you to reserve a spot in advance, eliminating the worry of finding a space when you arrive. This peace of mind lets you focus on the more enjoyable aspects of your trip.
3. Convenient Shuttle Services: Most off-site airport parking facilities offer free shuttle services that take you directly to your terminal. These shuttles run frequently, ensuring you won’t be left waiting long. The shuttle service also eliminates the need for a long walk with heavy luggage, as you’ll be dropped off right at the terminal entrance. When you return, a shuttle will be waiting to take you back to your car, making the entire process seamless.
4. Enhanced Security: Security is a crucial consideration when leaving your car for an extended period. Off-site parking facilities often have strong security measures, such as surveillance cameras and secure perimeters. This added security means you can travel with peace of mind, knowing your vehicle is safe.
5. Extra Services: Many off-site parking providers offer additional services that can enhance your experience. These may include car washing, detailing, or basic maintenance while you’re away. Coming back to a clean, serviced car is a great way to end your trip.
Conclusion
While on-site airport parking might seem convenient, it often leads to unnecessary stress and higher costs. Off-site airport parking offers a stress-free and affordable alternative with better pricing, security, and additional conveniences like shuttle services and car maintenance.
The next time you travel, consider the benefits of off-site airport parking Sydney —you’ll likely find it’s the smarter choice for a more relaxed journey.

Europe
Eat (and Hike) Your Way Through Italy’s Boot
If you’re an Anthony Bourdain fan, you may remember the season 10 finale that aired in late 2017, Southern Italy: The Heel of the Boot, which has inspired travelers to get off the beaten path in Italy ever since. Wilderness Travel’s new tour this year, Hiking Puglia and Calabria, visit some of the same mystical towns Bourdain did in what’s sure to be the next popular tourist spot in Italy. Activities range from culinary experiences like wine and olive oil tastings to excursions like cliffside hiking and cave exploring. You’ll also see two UNESCO World Heritage sites: the cave dwellings of Matera (also a European Capital of Culture this year) and the famed Trulli houses in Alberobello.
Float Down the Danube on a Reinvented River Cruise
A river cruise is one of the best ways to see Europe, and U by Uniworld is shaking things up for the industry. With ships and itineraries designed for the “young at heart,” this isn’t your grandparents’ river cruise. My pick for 2019 is the Danube Flow cruise, which covers three countries in eight days: Germany, Austria, and Hungary. There are also departure dates with special itineraries that overlap with Oktoberfest, Sziget Festival, and the holiday Christmas markets and New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Walk England Coast to Coast
Sleep in cozy countryside inns while you cross England by walking 192 miles over nine days. REI Adventures’ England Coast to Coast Hiking trip takes you through three national parks: Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and North York Moors, where you’ll see grazing sheep, storybook villages, and stunning landscapes. Along the way, you rest at local pubs and teahouses, and the tour includes stops at the home of William Wordsworth, Richmond Castle, Easby Abbey, and more.
Bike the Causeway Coast
The adventurous and active can take a weeklong, self-guided tour through Northern Ireland. Viator’s Causeway Coast Cycle Self-Guided tour is ideal for travelers who want to go at it alone but need some help planning. The itinerary starts with a city cycle tour in Belfast, where you’ll explore iconic sights. You then bike along the coastline with stops in villages and castles to rest and sleep at small inns. The tour includes a ferry ride to Rathlin Island, Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Bushmills Whiskey Distillery, an optional trip to the Dark Hedges, and return transportation to Dublin.
Explore Portuguese and Spanish Islands You’ve Never Heard Of
Portugal was 2018’s hottest destination, and tourism growth shows no signs of slowing down in 2019. Avoid the overcrowded spots with a 15-day cruise throughout the Portuguese and Spanish islands. Hurtigruten’s Atlantic Exploration itinerary is new this year and covers the Azores, Madeira, and the Canary Islands. The journey begins and ends in Lisbon, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore the capital. Stops include three areas of the volcanic archipelago—the Green Island (Sao Miguel), the Blue Island (Ilha Azul or Faial), and the Purple Island (Angra), as well the islands of Porto Santo and Madeira of Portugal, and two islands in the Canaries: Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the less-visited San Sebastian de la Gomera.
North America
Visit a Rainforest in Canada
Home to fjords, rare wildlife, and, yes, a rainforest, is Canada’s British Columbia province. Maple Leaf Adventures’ Great Bear Rainforest trips are sailing-based and include tons of wildlife excursions with opportunities to see grizzly bears, spirit bears, black bears, baleen whales, orcas, gray wolves, and bald eagles. The itinerary also includes cultural experiences with First Nation villages, a trip to hot springs, and kayaking.

Go on a Snow-for Adventure
If you’re into snow sports, then this trip should be on your bucket list. Topdeck’s 10-day Great White North tour takes you to Whistler, Big White, and the Big Three ski resorts in Banff. You’ll also experience some of Canada’s epic drives and sights, like the Sea to Sky Highway, Fraser Valley, the Coquihalla Pass, Kicking Horse Pass, and the Continental Divide.
South America
Tour Chilean Wine Country
Chile is a hot destination in 2019 with Patagonia’s popularity and the 2019 solar eclipse, but you should visit this destination for another reason: the Casablanca Valley. The area is known for its Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Noir, but has distinct microclimates that growers are learning more about to produce other varieties, like Malbec and Merlot. This trip of a lifetime is just 90 minutes from Santiago by car. Use Upscale travel to plan your perfect trip through the region; activities can include cycling, a helicopter ride, dining with winemakers, and more.

Backpack Through Bolivia
Bolivia’s salt flats are otherworldly, and the country as a whole is on its way to becoming the next South American hot spot. Contiki’s 13-day Bella Bolivia tour covers tons of ground, starting in La Paz, the capital, and ending in Chile’s Santiago—the first nine days are spent in Bolivia with an included flight to Santiago on day 11. You’ll truly see it all: the cathedrals of La Paz, the Witches’ Market, the white stone buildings in Sucre, Salar de Uyuni (salt flats), Avaroa National Reserve, the Salvador Dali desert, and plenty more to make this trip of life worthwhile.
Go to the Remote Falkland Islands
Getting to these remote and almost-polar islands isn’t easy—or cheap—but this year marks the first new flight route to the U.K. territory since the late ‘90s. Though no date has been set, the flights will go from Argentina to the islands with LATAM Airlines. Intrepid is offering a new-to-2019 tour for eight days, Falkland Island Expedition: Past & Present, which will take you to beaches, nature reserves, and the battlegrounds from the war of 1982. And don’t forget about the wildlife; a king, Magellanic, and gentoo penguins all call this place home.
Polar
Spend a Night on a Glacier in the Arctic Fjords
If Norway’s Arctic fjords are on your bucket list, take your vacation to the next level with a trip to Svalbard. Off the Map Travel’s summer trip to the archipelago includes dog sledding, kayaking, a glacier climb, and the once-in-a-lifetime chance to sleep on a glacier at the Nordenskiold Lodge. Note that you won’t see the northern lights this time of year, but rather experience the “land of the midnight sun,” which also happens to give you the best chance to see polar bears. If you’re looking for a northern lights experience, the tour company has a four-day All Day Aurora tour to the same region.

From Sydney to Sable Island: helicopter tour offers rare tourism experience
For the first time, helicopter tours are being offered between one Maritime island – and another that is rarely seen.
Breton Air, based in Sydney, N.S., is planning commercial tours between Cape Breton Island and Sable Island.
While the 43-kilometre island southeast of Nova Scotia is well-known, few people have ever set foot on it.
"The lure of it. When I was growing up here in Cape Breton, you hear the fables and stories of it", says Breton Air president and chief pilot Matt Wallace.
The 134 nautical mile flight from the J.A. Douglas McCurdy Sydney Airport to Sable Island takes about an hour and ten minutes. Breton Air will be conducting the tours in a Bell 412 helicopter, which has room for eight passengers and a tour guide.
"I've seen that people want to get out there", Wallace said. "It's unbelievable, when you arrive and just see how absolutely beautiful and how unique the Island is."
The pilot adds the perpendicular approach to Sable Island, from Cape Breton, is a different experience than flying there from Mainland Nova Scotia.
"We noticed that it starts coming out of the ocean like a mirage," Wallace told CTV Atlantic. "Bald dune is about 115 feet high and you see that. As we approach, you're looking at the whole Island."
Wallace says once the helicopter lands, people can get out and see the Sable Island on foot. They'll be met by Parks Canada staff; Parks Canada has overseen the Sable Island National Park Reserve since 2011.
"We work to maintain ecological integrity at our Parks," Parks Canada spokesperson Jennifer Nicholson tells CTV Atlantic.
The idea, Nicholson says, is to ensure people can have the unique experience of touring Sable Island without disturbing the wild horses and other rare wildlife that call the island home, along with their surrounding habitat.
Though she adds the flora and fauna are amazing to see, even from a distance.
"All the horses, the seals -- it's just a wonderful experience when you first touch down on Sable Island," Nicholson says.
At more than $3,200 per person, plus HST, the day-long round trip isn't cheap, but neither are the licences required to fly over water or the aircraft.
Breton Air hopes bookings will fill up for its eight departure dates, given that for many people -exploring Sable Island would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
"Once you get back, people are almost in awe. And speechless about the experience," Wallace says.
Breton Air's first Sable Island tour is tentatively scheduled for Monday, July 19 – with a rain date of July 20. The company says other flights will take place from August to October.

Cheap Parking Sydney Airport: Ultimate Guide
Travelling can be stressful, especially when it comes to arranging logistics like parking. Direct parking at the airport can be notoriously expensive, but fortunately, there are offsite options that provide convenience and affordability.
In this post, we’ll explore the best cheap parking Sydney airport, highlighting its benefits, cost savings, and tips for choosing the right service for your needs.
Why Choose Offsite Parking?
Opting for offsite parking near the airport offers numerous advantages:
1. Cost Savings: Cost savings are the most significant benefit. Offsite parking services typically offer much lower rates compared to on-airport parking facilities. These savings can be substantial, especially for long-term parking.
2. Convenience and Shuttle Services: Many offsite parking providers offer complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport. This means you can park your car and get to your terminal with minimal hassle.
3. Security: Offsite parking facilities often feature robust security measures, including 24/7 surveillance, gated entries, and regular patrols, ensuring your vehicle remains safe while you’re away.
4. Additional Services: Some offsite parking providers offer additional services such as car washing, detailing, and maintenance. It can be a great perk, allowing you to return to a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
Tips for Choosing the Best Offsite Parking
To make the most out of your offsite parking experience, consider these tips:
1. Book in Advance: Prices can vary depending on demand, so it’s a good idea to book your parking spot well in advance. This not only guarantees your space but also often secures a better rate.
2. Compare Rates and Services: Take the time to compare different offsite parking providers. Look at their rates, services, and customer reviews to ensure you’re getting the best value for your money.
3. Check Shuttle Frequency: Ensure that the parking provider offers frequent shuttle services to and from the airport. You don’t want to be left waiting for a long time, especially when you’re in a rush.
4. Look for Discounts and Promotions: Many offsite parking companies offer discounts for online bookings, long-term parking, or membership programs. Be sure to check for any available promotions before booking.
5. Read Reviews: Customer reviews can provide valuable insights into the reliability and quality of the parking service. Look for consistent positive feedback regarding security, shuttle service, and overall customer experience.
