timeline: AU in which the Halloween party was a regular prom night and Jonah didn't lose control of his powers.

What an awful time to have a headache.

Jonah was starting to like the idea of getting dressed up for the halloween party — he even managed to put together some old pants and a worn out jacket in a way that he vaguely resembled a cowboy. His next step — courtesy of his cousin Sage — would be to do his own makeup.

But the damn headache wouldn't give him a break.

Jonah exhaled, dropping the black eyeliner pencil in the sink. He had already crossed into Mall Goth territory and at that point, it should be enough.

Finding the party was easy. All he had to do was follow the loud pop music to the amphitheater. But first, he had another stop — to honor his invitation on a burst of confidence.

Walking down to the end of the cabin circle, Jonah found himself at the doorstep of the Chaos cabin, its large doors towering ahead of him like gates of a mansion.

He shifted on his feet, hands cold with sweat.

Mamá didn't raise a coward, he muttered.

Breathing in slowly, Jonah lifted his head up and knocked on the door.

Apollo got mad at Hephaestus so now all the cabin 9 kids get sun burns if they go outside for more than 10 minutes

Hiii! Can you tell about what your monster prom/camp dr is like? I'm planning on shifting there for a while and it's so cool to see someone with the same intention!

Monster camp and Monster prom are very fun dr's to have, but can be very stressful sometimes and very triggering if you aren't careful with what you've scripted into them. Once that's out of the way your free to have as much fun with it as you want!

my dr follows the plot line of both games but backwards. After a year at CHB with my adoptive father (chiron), I went to monster camp for the summer, and than spooky high for the school year after (although they are still two different dr's with different love story timelines)! I had previously gone to spooky highschool a year before meeting some new friends and having fun my freshman and sophomore year!

Something I did change was adding Zoe, Billzo, and Ranboo to monster camp! It's definitely not necessary but very fun. I also added different characters like Polly, Scott, and more who aren't in monster camp that I added just because their fun characters!

In both monster camp and prom there are a lot of triggering things that are a lot different to hear about than actually witness, Like no one want's to see what damien does daily but we're fine about laughing about it when playing the game! Now i've scripted things like "bl00d looks like water" or "kni7es look like pink baseball bats" just small things that will make it less fucked up to be in that reality! As well as things like "If commit ars0n no is hurt or d1e's" just small things that will maybe make you feel better or make you feel more comfortable in your dr!

I'm a child of Poseidon and half demon. My demon family didn't want me and of course Poseidon couldn't take care of me, So Chiron took me in! I grew up mostly in CHB, but when Chiron was able to take a break, we went to a house near Spooky high, which is about an hour away from CHB!

there was someone on my demon side who did visit often! she was my aunt and Chiron's good friend. She had a beach house in Maryland that I take my friend group down to almost every summer ever since she past.

Growing up in CHB I helped with a lot of quests. I went on the original quest with percy, annabeth, and grover. I fought in the war, I defeated Ares 1 on 1 and stole his sunglasses angering the god (Chiron was not happy about that one).

Currently I live alone in the house near Spooky high. Every new school year Chiron will come visit for the morning to send me off the school from the house with a kiss on the cheek and a good luck! Zoe, who's my best-friend in this dr, practically lives with me as well as her adoptive brother Billzo.

In school I'm head cheerleader, don't get caught skipping almost at all, and my dad is never called due to no phones in CHB, which leaves me to sign most of my own stuff. The people i hand out with mostly is Damien, Zoe, Billzo, Ranboo, and Polly. We hang out at party's, during lunch, or just when skipping.

Remember to make yourself comfortable in dr! That's one of the most important things. To make yourself more comfortable it'll be easier to enjoy your dr, unless you like the feeling of adrenaline like me, but genuinely please be careful! and shift safely people!

born in salem, massachusetts, adelaide croft is the daughter of sherry croft and hypnos, a product of an affair her mother has on her husband, senator richard croft-- sherry is a bored housewife trapped in a seemingly picturesque but loveless marriage when she meets hypnos, one thing leads to another, nine months later, adelaide is born 

richard knows from the get-go adelaide is not his child, it doesn’t take a mathematician to figure out and despite the obvious strain this infidelity puts on the croft marriage, they remain together, richard claiming to the public that adelaide is his daughter while the disdain for what her mother did bubbled into resentment towards the young girl-- growing up she believed he was her real father

the crofts have one other child, an eldest daughter, prudence, and she is the pride and joy of the croft family, things came effortlessly to prudence, who received praise and attention from her parents for the slightest thing-- from a young age, she was actively pit against her older sister, who was as cruel as their father was at times, their relationship founded from rivalry

adelaide struggled for approval from her parents, who often brushed her off or ignored her. while her father was too focused on work, her mother too focused on drinking, and both too focused on prudence, it didn’t help that she developed strange habits from a young age, like claiming to speak to strange people in her dreams or how the world grew drowsy around her

found out she was a demigod at eleven, hypnos came to her in a dream, she laughed in his face, but very quickly realized this was real shit, when he offered the chance to go to a camp where there were other people like that she jumped at the chance-- attended camp halfblood during the summers of 2009-2016

trained pretty extensively during that time, was a casual quester, chosen usually because of her enthusiasm and hypnokinesis abilities, they did not all end well, she lost some people along the way, got some stuck in some sticky situations, will eventually go into more depth with these 

when she wasn’t at camp, she was climbing the social ranks back in massachusetts, winning academic awards, prom queen, staying on top of sports, practically anything in an attempt to make her parents acknowledge her, then when she realized they never would, specifically to spite them, simply trying to survive the rest of her high school career

started writing at a young age, journaling originally, but eventually, it grew into short stories, then novellas, etc.

always knew she was going to eonia, however, the process was sped up a little after an incident involving hypnokinesis, prudence, and a five day coma, adelaide denounced the crofts essentially, and using her memory retrieval power successfully for the first and only time, wiped herself from their memories (how long that will last, she is unsure), she went to live with a friend for a bit until she was accepted into eonia 

studies creative writing with the intent to write horror fiction based off the nightmares and dreams she has witnessed and influenced, currently in her fourth year here with intent to go to grad school afterwards

TL;DR: the younger daughter of sherry croft and hypnos, adopted by senator richard croft, grew up in a loveless, neglectful household that was seemingly perfect in public eye, had a sadistic older sister name prudence who was always in the spotlight, big queen bee vibes but went to chb and quested a bit, eventually came to eonia to study creative writing.

Percy Jackson Thoughts #12

Headcannon: Right after the war with Gaea, Chiron hosts a prom at CHB (Part 4/4)

The night of the dance finally arrives. The girls spend all day together getting ready, and the guys meet up an hour before the dance to throw their tuxes on and do something with their hair that ends up involving a lot of hair gel and cursing. Will and Nico were both too shy to actually ask the other to go with them, so they are both technically going stag; but everyone knows they are basically going together. The boys all walk across the common area together to pick up the girls from the Hades cabin (Hazel is staying there with Nico while she's at camp, and with him getting ready with the boys, it is empty). The girls come out and the boys are stunned by how beautiful they look. As they make their way to the dining pavilion where the dance is going to be held, campers along the way alternatively cheer and catcall the group. When they arrive and the dance begins, they all get another huge surprise. The Hunters of Artemis got the night off to come to the dance, so Thalia gets to surprise her brother and her best friends. Percy and Annabeth are unanimously elected prom king and queen. The entire night is full of laughter and smiles, with some stolen kisses here and there. As the night winds downs and a pretty slow song plays, Chiron watches the remaining Six all dance in their partner's arms. Nico had fallen asleep on Will's shoulder on the sidelines and will had an arm around him, just smiling. Chiron couldn't stop the tears falling down his cheeks. At least despite everything, his heroes got to just be kids for one night. It was all he had ever wanted.

So this isn’t really a rp? It’s just a CHB blog, if you’re speaking about the prom, it isn’t a rp either as of now. It’s just an event my blog is hosting, with a theme and voting for prom king/queen :).

4: “your boyfriend is standing outside like in one of those cheesy romantic movies

One thing Nico di Angelo was glad he didnt have to deal with while at Camp Half Blood was dances.

Obviously a main reason was because back in the forties he wouldn’t be able to bring a boy to prom without getting killed, but also to this day he still wasn’t a fan of big groups of people close together with loud music and a warmer-then-room-temperature room. 

Oh yeah, and Nico can’t dance

But recently the Aphrodite cabin was able to convince Chiron to host a CHB Dance. It wasn’t a Valentine’s Day dance, but of course everyone was making a big deal about getting asked to the dance. Even Hazel and Frank had come from Camp Jupiter just to attend. (Okay, maybe also to see all their friends, but still, they were making a big deal out of it.)

However, Nico himself, had already decided he wasn’t going to attend the dance. Of course, he wasn’t thinking about what a certain blonde-headed son of Apollo would want, and he defiantly didn’t think he was going to be shaken awake by Hazel, who was staying in the Hades cabin with him, at 5:50 am.

Nico groaned and rolled over, opening his eyes slowly where Hazel was standing over him. 

“What is it Hazel?” he asked, closing his eyes again.

“I hate to wake you, but your boyfriend is standing outside the cabin like one of those cheesy romantic movies. He wants to see the sunrise with you.” 

Nico, whose eyes had fluttered open again at the mention of the word boyfriend, sighed as he slowly rubbed his eyes before sitting up and stepping out of bed. He didn’t bother to fix his bead head or change out of the gray sweatpants and black shirt he was wearing as he pulled on socks and his sneakers and stumbled tiredly to the door of the cabin. 

“Why so early?” Nico asked Will as soon as he had opened the door.

“Well, good morning to you too,” the son of Apollo replied cheerily, pulling the grumbling son of Hades out of his cabin.

“Barley even morning, its still dark out,” Nico complained as Will dragged him along. 

“Dont worry, it won’t be for long, but we have to hurry,” Will said, pecking him on the lips before continuing on.

Ears burning, Nico followed.

They arrived at the canoe lake, Will sat on the grass, pulling Nico down with him.  Will wrapped his arm around Nico’s waist, who slowly put his head down on Will’s shoulder, as Apollo started to raise the sun, the light peaking above the horizon. Everything was quiet, it was nice to be with Will while nobody was around.

“You know why I brought you here, right?” Will asked him quietly after a few moments. 

Nico shook his head.

“Well, I wanted to ask you this while no one was around, and I didn’t want to make too big of a deal out of it or you would never agree, but I was wondering if you would like to go to the dance with me?” He looked down at Nico, biting his lip slightly, not in a sexual way, just out of nervous habit. 

Nico stared at his pale blue eyes that were slowly getting brighter as the sun rose. Of course. He should have seen that coming. Of course Will Solace would want to go to the dance. He felt stupid for not thinking about that.

But in this moment, so quiet, so close to Will, his mind started to change. Maybe he would have fun with his friends in the open field behind the Big House and the river, right near the strawberries. Big enough to fit the campers without it being too close or too stuffy, Maybe he could actually have fun.

But at the same time-

“If its the dancing your worried about, don’t. I promise you, no one is worse at dancing than me.” Will said, his voice clear through his cloud of thoughts.

Okay, that was something Nico had to see.

“Okay.” he said. Will’s eyes lit up even more. 

“Really?” he asked. 

Nico nodded, refusing to let his brain second-guess him.

“Wow, that was easier than I thought it would be,” Will smiled lightly at Nico. “I thought I was going to have to convince you more-”

“Oh, shut up,” Nico said, before leaning over to kiss him. 

As Will’s arms tightened around his waist, pulling him closer, and Nico put his arms around Will’s neck, running his fingers through Will’s curls, he defiantly wasn’t second-guessing.

In fact, he was only wondering if they would be able to sneak out to the strawberry fields for a few minutes

VERSE || assassin’s creed : alyssa is a scientist working on the animus.
