Alexis observed how eccentric the woman was. She supposed if she were in the blonde's position and was just asked for a commission she would be excited too. "Murals," she repeated slowly as she examined one of the large canvases adorned with various colors of paint. "Hmm...well, you seem to enjoy a lot of color. I was looking for something a bit...obscure." Alexis chose her words carefully, not wanting the other to think she wanted a scene out of a horror film plastered on white canvas. "A mural might actually be perfect." Her head turned back in the direction of the other. "I was thinking a wide and tall canvas for the wall behind my bed. You see, I have an affinity for the strange and I want my home adorned with reminders of the things I love." She smiled warmly at the woman. "I have two sisters and the three of us own a tailor shop. I'm not asking for a portrait of us. I want something from an artist's perspective. Something that represents us as sisters and the passion we have for our work," Alexis explained. Their 'passion' may not be the exact work Alexis had explained, but it was enough to get the point across without being too strange.
"I prefer darker colors, if that's something you can work with. I want to give you a lot of creative liberty, but I also want something that represents my own vision. Three sisters that are connected. You could even say we're connected with thread." Her lips twitched as she prevented her smile from turning into a smirk. "I'm a bit old school you could say as well. I even have an old spinning wheel for thread displayed in our shop. I would love if you could incorporate that somehow. If not, I feel like I can trust your artistic vision. "Oh, also-- Gold details are a must. Despite what I'm looking for I do like gold accents. As you can see gold jewelry is my preference." She held up her arm to show her a gold, bangle bracelet before letting it drop to her side. "I know that sounds like a lot, but I would appreciate if that's something you can work with. If not, I do understand. I will say that money isn't an issue and I would be happy to commission a dress or something for yourself as extra payment. And as a way to thank you." Her smile grew as a thought came to her mind. "Since you prefer murals I wouldn't even be opposed to having you paint the wall. Canvas or the wall, whichever is best for you. You might have a lot more space and wiggle room for your own flair if you directly paint a mural on the wall."
so much unbridled joy pulsed through her body, she was practically vibrating. or maybe it was the copious amount of caffeinated tea she had consumed in the last hour , , , whichever it was — rapunzel was thrilled. she tried not to stare, tried to give the other space, but was incapable of doing so as she practically burst into static at her question. " c-commissions ?? " rapunzel echoed, face alight, almost in disbelief the woman had been sold so easily on her work.
" yes !! of course. i uh — i tend to work best on large canvases though . . . if that's alright. you see, i started painting murals , i used to drive my mother crazy with all my requests for various paints and such , but — " catching herself, the blonde cleared her throat, clasping her hands in front of her so the other wouldn't tune in to just how much she was buzzing from this. " i mean , , , yes. what , , , what did you have in mind ?? "

Hans knew of Rapunzel, but he hadn’t really had the pleasure of getting to know her. He wasn’t quite sure what he was getting himself into when he approached her that day, but he knew Anna adored her friend and Hans had to at least make an effort to like her friends and such if his plan were to ever work. “Hey, you’re Rapunzel, right?” he asked with a soft smile. “I’m Hans. A friend of Anna’s. I’m certain you’re the girl I’ve seen in some of her pictures before. If not...well, then this is awfully embarrassing.” He lets out a small, nervous laugh. “Please tell me I’m not making a fool out of myself right now.”

Cassandra wasn’t loud about her sexuality but that didn’t mean she wasn’t proud of it. Pride Prom was important to a lot of people and it was important to Cass. She wasn’t the type to mingle really. Mostly, just have a few drinks and talk to the few friends she had. She was trying to venture out a little more, chatting with a few people but excused herself once she saw Rapunzel was alone. “Hey, there social butterfly. Though I’d never get to steal you away.”

Continued from here. @punzdrop
Cassandra sighed and rolled her eyes. No matter how hard she tried to put up a tough facade in front of Rapunzel she always managed to crack half of a smile. “And I love you,” she replied. Cass didn’t always care if people didn’t like her but once in a while there would be a person she wanted to impress-- not often, but when they didn’t like her it really rubbed her the wrong way. She knew she could be a...challenging person at times, and not always the most approachable, but she didn’t think she was a bad person. “Corona won’t know what hit ‘em once I’m done showing them the real me,” she said with a smirk.

event starter for @punzdropp
Anna and Rapunzel both grew up a little sheltered, so it was no wonder that they got along so well. It was a bit of a big deal that Anna was even here right now; she’d never be allowed to go to an event this big when her parents were still alive. There were so many people in beautiful dresses, and more chocolate than she’d probably ever seen in her life in one place. It was nice to have someone to share in her excitement with, especially since she and Elsa were still a bit distant. “Can you believe how pretty everything looks? It’s like it’s straight out of a fairytale. I was way too young to go along with my parents when they dressed up like this, and now here I am,” she swooned, slipping her arm into her friend’s. “Also, did I see you talking to a very fine looking, tall man before? I did not know people could be that attractive, and you’re talking to one? Tell me everything.”

Cassandra was angry. It had been some time since she’d really had a meltdown. She was always battling demons in her head and when a photo memory of her and Rapunzel popped up on her phone she freaked out. It had been a difficult day and it was just the icing on the cake. She was in her apartment, had began throwing things around, including her phone against the wall. She wanted to scream and cry, so she did. Her now cracked phone kept buzzing and she kept ignoring it, opting for a bottle instead. She had already tried going for a run but she was so emotional that every step she took black rocks appeared around her. So, she ran all the way home, not daring look behind her out of fear what might be there. She was safe in her apartment though. Belligerently drunk, but safe. Her phone kept buzzing and then she remembered she made plans with Raps and forgot. So, when she heard a knock on the door she opened it. Mascara was running down her face and she had to hold the door frame to keep herself up. “Just go away.” Maybe if Rapunzel disappeared forever she would feel better. No, she told herself, absolutely not. The opposite would happen. She truly did care for the girl but there were so many paradoxical feelings when it came to Rapunzel. Taking a shaky breath she wiped her eyes. “I know we had plans but you shouldn’t be here. I should have called, whatever. Sorry, I guess.” She didn’t dare look her friend in the eye. “Don’t worry about me though. I’m fine.” Cass clearly wasn’t ‘fine’ but she was a big girl. She could handle all the battles life threw her way. Maybe not in healthy ways, but she could deal. She always did, she had to.

The friend Cass spent time with the most was undoubtedly Rapunzel. That was her girl, her best friend. Despite the growing anger and resentment inside of her towards her friend she couldn’t help but still love and care for her. They were at Cass’s apartment. Cass was scrolling through her phone and she glanced over at Rapunzel. Sometimes silence while spending time together was nice since Cass knew how much Rapunzel could talk her ear off. “Whatcha painting there?” she asks. She enjoyed watching her friend do art. She wasn’t jealous of her talent or anything, in fact she was rather proud of the girl. “It looks nice so far.”

Cassandra had decided that after Rapunzel said she likely wasn’t a good cook she was going to make her dinner. She’d even made dessert! The salad went fine and well, that was simple enough. And the brownies she’d made turned out beautifully. She’d attempted to prepare some pasta and chicken but that was...not going as well. The chicken was fine. But the pasta was sticking to the bottom of the pot and when Rapunzel arrived Cass was cursing at the food she’d ruined. When she heard Rapunzel enter the kitchen she turned and smiled. “So, like, yeah, everything turned out except the pasta. You weren’t completely wrong when you said I couldn’t cook because like everything else is fine. Just...sticky pasta. So maybe we can order pizza or something.”

Alexis had always been fond of art. Through the eons she had been around to walk the Underworld earth she had always had an affinity for the strange and weird, as well as art. She walked into the shop that afternoon, not expecting much but wanting a piece of art to hang above her bed's headboard. Alexis had not expected to be greeted with such a bubbly and warm demeanor by the other woman. She gave her a puzzled look, trying to figure out why she seemed to be so nervous and happy at the same time. Alexis chalked it up to just excitement and nerves from selling her first painting. Her eyes wandered over to the tea and snacks and she gave a small smile and nodded. "Thank you." She took a few more steps into the shop, walking past the blonde woman as she glanced around at the various pieces of original art. The woman had talent, that much was obvious. Turning back to the woman with a small smile still on her face she spoke again. "Do you take commissions? There's something specific I'd be willing to pay for."

" oh my gosh — hello ?? hello !! wow , , , uh , come in , come in !! i'm so sorry i'm just , well , i'm really excited you're here. i've never had a customer before !! you're — you're a customer , right ?? OH my gosh, please look around !! "
rapunzel couldn't remember where it had come from , this desire to open her own art and paint studio but excitement was burning hot through her veins as she practically tripped over herself with delight at the sight of someone willingly walking through the front door. " there's tea and snacks over there and . . . paintings everywhere else. the studio's in the back and — goodness, forgive me, i think my hearts about to burst out of my chest. "
