Berlioz didn't ask people to come over often. He'd reached a low where he just longed for another person. He craved human interaction and, almost more so, touch. He thought of Anastasia, not really caring who he hit up at the last minute. She was pretty, kind of annoying and rude, but Berlioz wouldn't deny she was a good time. His apartment hadn't really been in the state for visitors. A few lines later and he had the boost he needed to speed clean and take a shower before she came over. Now, another line and a few drinks in with Anastasia beside him on the couch he felt less agitated. He finished off his drink before setting it down on the table across from them. Berlioz didn't always know what to say. He didn't really ask girls to come over often. She wasn't Alice, but she was a distraction. Eyes hidden by too long hair move to meet hers as he blew the hair from his face. "I won't lie, I didn't really think you'd say you'd come over tonight. Not on such short notice. I figured you probably had somewhere better to be. Some fancy event or someone better to be with." He scooted closer to her on the couch until their knees touched. His lips curve into a smirk and he places a hand on her leg. "You wouldn't have came over if you didn't have the same idea as me though." His hand hesitantly trails up towards her thigh. "Unless you had something better in mind," he said softly as he leaned closer to her. "Where are my manners though? I should be asking you if I can get you another drink first."

Rapunzel had never interacted with either of Ella’s stepsisters, and she wasn’t sure that she ever wanted to. They kind of terrified her. and she wasn’t sure that she knew what she’d say if she ever did come across one of them. Was she supposed to tell them about Ella running away from the Charmings and coming to live with her? Was she supposed to say anything about her whereabouts at all? She should’ve known there was a chance of running into them at the New Year’s party, but Rapunzel had hoped that the country club was big enough to not let them cross paths. Apparently, she was wrong: she’d nearly knocked over the redhead on her way to the dance floor. “I’m--oh my goodness, I didn’t knock any of your food into you, did I? I hope not, since your dress is so pretty. I mean, of course it is, it’s a party. Have you ever been here before? I haven’t, and it’s so beautiful.” She wouldn’t have been surprised if the Tremaines belonged to the club. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to bump into you or start babbling.”

Lucifer shouldn’t have found out so much through some blog post of all things, but he had. First, Kit Charming was potentially getting engaged to someone that wasn’t one of his sisters. Now Gaston was taking his ‘wards’ as the post had said on some trip. Did Anastasia know about this or was she upset at the news? Lucifer knew one of the people Gaston would bring was Laurette and he wasn’t sure how he felt about that either. He told Anastasia to meet him at the estate and when she arrived he was already half way through a bottle of red. Though there was a glass poured out for her as well. “Are you angry?” he asked. “Or did you know?” He didn’t want to beat around the bush and figured it was better to just be blunt about it. “Because, I for one would be absolutely livid.”
