No.

Wait and stop and wonder again.

It’s all too much.

Too quickly.

It doesn’t seem right.

The terrible, irresistible pull that brings me back to him.

Without fail. It will do so again.

I fear I might drown in the abyss of him.

Yes.

Run and breathe and beg again.

I need more.

Faster, now.

It’s dauntless perfection.

The gripping in my chest that keeps me wanting beside him.

Every time he is near I follow it.

He is such sweet smoke in my lungs.

Maybe.

One day, perhaps, but not now. Never now.

My wishes remain unheard.

My hopes unspoken.

This two minded nature of mine.

Still, he will remain both friend and confidant.

I will walk where he wishes to take me.

I will listen out for the painful notes in his sweet music.
