Nadao Bangkok's successor - 5x6 House, announced their first series "TASTE เด็กเจนแซ่บ"

One of the biggest loss in Thai industry in 2022 was the closing down of Nadao Bangkok, an artist management/production company that was a subsidiary of GDH 559. It's interesting that following its closing and rebranding as Tada Entertainment, three subsidiaries under it were presumed to be Nadao's predecessors: SONRAY (managing boygroups BUS and DICE), ILY Lab (managing girlgroup MXFRUIT) and 5x6 House (a production company, led by Ping Kriangkrai Vachiratamporn).

Even though they have been quiet since Nadao Bangkok closing down, 5x6 House has recently officially opened their IG and Twitter (both @5x6house), signaling their returning to producing series, helmed by P'Ping.

Fun fact: "5x6" refers to the size of screenwriter team's room which was where many works of Nadao Bangkok were brought to life.

Today at One Sanan Chor 2025 event where many new and upcoming One31 series were revealed, 5x6 House announced that their first series is 'TASTE เด็กเจนแซ่บ', a oneD original produced by Ping Kriangkrai Vachiratamporn, and directed by two new directors Aing Naruekorn Notakul and Tang Panich Pongpanich. Taste is described to be a precedessor to the hit Thai series 'Hormones: The Series'.

Bangkok Blossom บางกอกคณิกา

Synopsis

In the year 1892, a period when prostitution is at an all-time high, three pretty flowers at Hor Bupachat (=blossom hall) - Kulap (=rose), Botan (=peony) and Thianyot (=golden dewdrop) - live under the rule of Madam Ratree (=night-blooming jasmine/lady of the night) who has become influential through the VIP regular Phraya Jaran, a powerful figure in the country. But life at Hor Bupachat is not what the three girls wish for, they want to flee for a life of freedom. To make their dream come true, the three of them have to endeavor to earn the money needed to buy themselves out of being prostitutes, a profession that has their human dignity held in contempt.
