As for arachne vs drow, the reason i dislike all arachne being drow is because drow didnt evolve that way, a drow is an elf that displeased a goddess, drow arnt born their made, rending their culture Vastly Different than arachne, and i agree completly with the different spiders having different personality, your going to get VASTLY different habits from an orb weaver than a trapdoor spider

As for padded feet vs hooves, of course they can have padded hooves, i mean boar-taurs are quite popular(though honestly it should be sustaur because sus is the porcine equivalent to cervis , which is the scientific name of deer)

Also on the taur meaning bull, thats cause centaur( orriginally kentauris) means bull peicer, because its a mythologised version of an actual tribe of people that lived in the area and hunted on horseback, that ended up in mythology as half horse people, so i agree we do need to find a better name for the half nonhuman peoples, and heres a question for you

Why am i yelling

You brought me back to middle school and im making it your problem. I didnt read twealve dozen monster falls au's for nothing.(i did it for cervitaurs in particular)

Cervitaurs are similar to centaurs in the way a deer is to a horse, shocking, im sure. But i mean that in "superficcally sure, tempermentally not at all"

Horses tend to react to suprise with kicking the everliving shit out of you, deer will kick you, and bolt. Centaurs and cervitaurs are similar, cervitaur being nervous and jumpy, espessially around predatory species, preternatural or not, so a dog barking will send a cervitaur that doesnt know whats going on into a full panic, they tend towards flight over fight a majority of the time, they also dont do well in enclosed spaces, often suffering from clastraphobia and anxiety when confined

Schubart | Musical Keys

In July of 1878, soon after being released from the dungeon of a mountaintop fortress in Asperg¹, German composer, poet and journalist Christian Schubart published this superb list in his own newspaper, the Vaterlandische Chronik. The list, which was written whilst locked up, poetically describes each of the musical keys and their characteristics. It was later republished, posthumously, in a collection of his music writing titled Ideen Zu Einer Ästhetik Der Tonkunst, and in 1983 was translated into English by musicologist Rita Steblin in A History of Key Characteristics in the 18th and Early 19th Centuries.

C major: Completely pure. Its character is: innocence, simplicity, naïvety, children’s talk.

C minor: Declaration of love and at the same time the lament of unhappy love. All languishing, longing, sighing of the love-sick soul lies in this key.

Db major: A leering key, degenerating into grief and rapture. It cannot laugh, but it can smile; it cannot howl, but it can at least grimace its crying. Consequently only unusual characters and feelings can be brought out in this key.

D major: The key of triumph, of Hallelujahs, of war-cries, of victory-rejoicing. Thus, the inviting symphonies, the marches, holiday songs and heaven-rejoicing choruses are set in this key.

D minor: Melancholy womanliness, the spleen and humours brood.

D# minor: Feelings of the anxiety of the soul’s deepest distress, of brooding despair, of blackest depression, of the most gloomy condition of the soul. Every fear, every hesitation of the shuddering heart, breathes out of horrible D# minor. If ghosts could speak, their speech would approximate this key.

Eb major: The key of love, of devotion, of intimate conversation with God.

E major: Noisy shouts of joy, laughing pleasure and not yet complete, full delight lies in E Major.

F major: Complaisance and calm.

F minor: Deep depression, funereal lament, groans of misery and longing for the grave.

F# major: Triumph over difficulty, free sigh of relief uttered when hurdles are surmounted; echo of a soul which has fiercely struggled and finally conquered lies in all uses of this key.

F# minor: A gloomy key: it tugs at passion as a dog biting a dress. Resentment and discontent are its language.

G major: Everything rustic, idyllic and lyrical, every calm and satisfied passion, every tender gratitude for true friendship and faithful love—in a word every gentle and peaceful emotion of the heart is correctly expressed by this key.

G minor: Discontent, uneasiness, worry about a failed scheme; bad-tempered gnashing of teeth; in a word: resentment and dislike.

Ab major: Key of the grave. Death, grave, putrefaction, judgment, eternity lie in its radius.

Ab minor: Grumbler, heart squeezed until it suffocates; wailing lament, difficult struggle; in a word, the colour of this key is everything struggling with difficulty.

A major: This key includes declarations of innocent love, satisfaction with one’s state of affairs; hope of seeing one’s beloved again when parting; youthful cheerfulness and trust in God.

A minor: Pious womanliness and tenderness of character.

Bb major: Cheerful love, clear conscience, hope and aspiration for a better world.

Bb minor: A quaint creature, often dressed in the garment of night. It is somewhat surly and very seldom takes on a pleasant countenance. Mocking God and the world; discontented with itself and with everything; preparation for suicide sounds in this key.

B major: Strongly coloured, announcing wild passions, composed from the most glaring colours. Anger, rage, jealousy, fury, despair and every burden of the heart lies in its sphere.

B minor: This is as it were the key of patience, of calm awaiting one’s fate and of submission to divine dispensation.

I think that the pressure that parents can put on their kids about their grades is ridiculous. Yes, your grades affect your future. But when a kid makes bad grades, there is usually a reason. They could have studied really hard but been stressed or overly anxious that day so they were distracted. Some parents don’t realize that the way that they value grades so highly that it makes their children overly stressed that it is the reason that they don’t do as well as they should. Parents should promote good work ethic and value hard work more than the actual grade on the test.

And some kids have dyslexia or ADHD or something else that makes it much harder. I know lots of people with dyslexia who struggle, but they work hard and find solutions. I have ADHD, which makes it hard to focus at times, but doing your very best and working as diligently as possible should count more than your grade on a math quiz. One of the many reasons kids get anxiety is the pressure they feel from their parents, teachers, and everyone else they interact with. People should learn to value good morals and charactoristics over how easy a certain class is for you.

Hi everyone, today I want to tell you all about a rarer Gemstone I have come to love, called Nuummite. We finished blocking the scene of dream girls and went through the scene a couple of times in our individual groups. This helped with remember how the blocking was, after doing this I was able to understand who to aim the lines towards.

Performing the wizard of Oz to the groups again to be given more ways to improve the scene, our group was told to focus on charactoration and setting. This improvements have helped polish of our performance, after re-looking into my character I have found I want to play zeke more “cowardly” as he turns into the lion, who is looking for bravour of the wizard showen in this quote “Cowardly Lion: Talk me out of it!” we contiuded to work on charactors by get all the same charactors out of groups to get up and act out 3 characteristics they potray through the play, these charactortiscts where given by the rest of the group, cowardly, timard and jittery.this helped with beig able to have set characteristic to potray through the scene to hint to the outdience who our character ends up to be (Zeke-coardly lion)

 We moved onto working on dream girls, after performing it once through it was clear we hadn’t mastered put charactoristics so we diecded to keep rehearsing the scene, playing around with levels of intensity with our charactors which helped with chosing the most natural charctor.
