Hi Jamie hi!! What a great question

She has been thoroughly betrayed by her childhood hero and attachment figure! Her and her father used to be quite close, and he taught her a lot of what she knows, that being theoretical physics in the case of Particle Decay. He dropped her when she started acting girlish and he couldn't seem to abuse it out of her.

As to having betrayed people: she talks a big game about being cut throat, but Marion is actually pretty invested in sticking to her word.

to be clear, I think Rose Tyler being an often-selfish character is great. I think it's great because real women are selfish. Real women get petty. Real women hear their ex boyfriend say he's going out with a mutual acquaintance and get unfairly jealous and real women then say things like "she's a bit big" when they shouldn't and they have no right. Real women can be monsters, and Rose Tyler is relatable and I love how she is written and I love her, thanks for listening

I spent the evening adjusting the 3D face models in Clip Studio to look like Them(tm) (Mari and Jan) and then did an experimental draw-over. This is nice for keeping faces consistent at different angles, but it feels limiting in style.
