35&40
Here we go under the cut because it is LONG!
35: How does your character behave around people they like?
Derormr is loud and boisterous when it’s nothing serious, at first to the annoyance of Horoth and the amusement of Ushwei but they both get used to it and even find it infectious eventually.
Ingda is basically the mum friend, makes sure they have enough food, checks if their weapons are in good condition and scouts ahead for bandits or anything else that’s suspicious. You know, the usual things a mum friend does.
Loueus is often the guy who gets excited to tell you what he saw while he was out hunting. If he’s quiet and brooding, something either scared him shitless or pissed him off beyond belief.
Lisnna will be talkative with those she likes, growing up in the court of Wayrest she often ignored the other, often very snobbish children by reading a book. She’s also tiny and built like a stick, though if someone insults someone she considers a friend in her presence she’s definitely going to threaten to burn their face off.
Gelor doesn’t really have a true friend, mostly because he’s a cult leader. Though with his followers, he is willing to discuss and debate how Mehrunes Dagon helped shape current events, largely from a political perspective.
Rena loves engaging in verbal spars with her friends or merchants she likes/respects. Sometimes sarcastic, dry and gunning for a good price but never malicious.
Kayesek loves sharing and exchanging stories of the fights he’s been in, usually with other warriors. Also, with those willing to listen, he’ll often tell them about the old Yokudan pantheon that he was brought up with.
Alusati likes talking about and potentially planning an exploration to an interesting location. Gets most excited about Dwarven ruins.
Yaznakh is often the one who’ll smack the sense into you if you’re going to do something stupid. A little overprotective but only because she lost a lot of friends in the Great War.
Mausis usually speaks politely to those he likes, only schemes and plans with those he knows he can trust.
Sonaire learned the best time she has with friends is take them to the local tavern, get absolutely plastered and then probably either start a bar fight or turn the patrons of the tavern into a motley crew of party guests.
Enron is often a loner, every time he’s gotten close to people, shit happens and they wind up dead. If he gets particularly close to someone and they get into an extremely dangerous situation, any sense of self-preservation goes out the window.
Riraisa as a Dark Brotherhood assassin, generally treats her friends like a family, a morally bankrupt family but a family nonetheless. Loves exchanging a snarky comment or two and if she’s working on a potion/poison will gladly explain what she intends on using it for.
Horoth prefers a quiet drink of Sujamma and doesn’t mind if friends join him as long as talking is kept to a minimum. If he’s in a tavern he likes keeping both ears open to rumours.
Thalas isn’t really close to anyone. Her personal vendetta against the Thalmor means she doesn’t want to drag any innocents into danger.
Athasai is only close to other vampires who hate Molag Bal or mortals open-minded enough to not immediately view him as a monster. Other than that he tends to keep himself away from civilisation.
Daro’adhi, playfully steals an object from her friends and will return it when either you finally notice or she points it out.
Ra’thri-dar usually challenges people he likes to a competition. If he wins he’ll be smug but if he loses, he’ll be salty.
Veesk was often vilified due to her appearance resembling that of the Veeskhleel or Ghost People tribe, who, in my stories were wiped out due to their traditions necromantic practices on other tribe’s dead and/or stealing the eggs of other tribes. Therefore, she’s extremely loyal to anyone she likes, especially the Dark Brotherhood.
Ushwei as long as he’s treated fairly and with respect he’ll give the same, often referring to other races as ‘Marsh-Friend’ or other Argonians as ‘Egg-Brother/Sister’
40: How does your character treat people in service jobs?
Derormr is a bard, you know he’s had to deal with shitty customers, he respects anyone in service jobs and might even pay a little extra if it’s especially hectic for them. Also greatly respects healers and even learned Restoration magic because of it.
Ingda grew up in a trading caravan, as a guard she’s had to stop angry customers as well as greedy thieves. So she treats them with respect and may even offer her blade if they want to pay for it.
Loueus prefers to keep things short and sweet, he greatly dislikes haggling and will get annoyed if a merchant tries to con him out of furs he knows are worth more. Since he lived free in a clan of hunters, he doesn’t really see government and law enforcement as an authority for him to listen to but does respect their laws whenever he has to go into town.
Lisnna also likes keeping it short and polite though she does haggle with a madwoman’s conviction if what she’s buying is either a spell tome or a book on history. Also respects other service jobs as despite being a pariah to many of the nobles she grew up with, most of the servants were nice to her
Gelor doesn’t really interact with people in service jobs, but when he does, he has a silver tongue. Since he also leads a cult dedicated to a god that nearly ended the world, that people are still very sore about, he doesn’t go into cities and towns often and when he does he doesn’t flaunt his status as a Mehrunes Dagon worshipper.
Rena is a woman who grew up poor on the streets, she learned how to haggle for the best prices possible and greatly enjoys the fun of outwitting someone in a deal. She also has a respect for teachers as she never got a formal education herself.
Kayesek prefers speaking with blacksmiths and often compliments them on their work.
Alusati generally just enjoys browsing a merchants stock, she’s learned after a few times that she’s no good at haggling. Plus she cooks for the group so she appreciates the work that chefs put into making a meal.
Mausis is basically a Hufflepuff, do no harm but take no shit, being a victim of racial prejudice hammered that point home for him. Basically, he’s polite to a service worker until they start getting snarky with him.
Yaznakh is a soldier first and foremost with a simple fighting style. However, she can tell if someone is trying to con her. So, she gets pretty damn annoyed at sleazy merchants and has respect for her fellow officers of the Legion.
Horoth is a prideful Dunmer and tends to look down his nose at basically anyone who’s not Dunmer regardless of occupation. He eventually mellows out and starts treating people with respect.
Riraisa once worked as an Alchemist before becoming an assassin, she knows what it’s like to work for people and have the importance of your job be overlooked. So, she has respect for most service jobs though as assassin also tends to avoid law enforcement like the plague.
Athasai doesn’t interact with people in service jobs often, his breed of vampire, the Bonmasu will be exposed under candlelight so he always cooks his own food far away from a tavern.
Thalas discreetly pays blacksmiths to let her fletch her own arrows she gathered on her own that way there’s little to no record of her being at the shop, other than that she might go to a tavern and generously tip the waiters.
Enron isn’t really good with merchants, nervous around Imperial soldiers as an ex-Aldmeri Dominion soldier and likes discussing the uses of Restoration, Alteration and Illusion with other mages who provide services those magics are used for.
Sonaire used to rob anyone, including those in service jobs and was constantly pursued by law enforcement (albeit for good reason since she was a bandit). Since turning over a new leaf she doesn’t pick as many fights ad isn’t tempted to swing her warhammer at the first guard that looks at her funny.
Ushwei greatly admires craftmanship, especially if it’s made out of bone so he shows respect to those whose job it is to maintain structures such as city walls.
Veesk honestly doesn’t care much about those in service jobs.
Ra’thri-Dar considers himself above buying from butchers, he prefers to hunt and prep the meat himself.
Daro’adhi would probably steal from them if they’re an asshole but give to them if they genuinely need it.

Whichever question you wanna answer most for all of then
I chose number 4
Has your character witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?
Derormr at first didn’t care much for the Stormcloak Rebellion but after witnessing Torygg’s death at Ulfric’s hand however, he starts to despise the rebels. Part of his reasoning for forming the Ebonheart Company is to help repair relations between both Nords and non-Nords. Elisif, Sonaire, Horoth and Ushwei know about it
Ingda first joined the Dawnguard for the potential of money, but soon realised the scale of threat they were facing when she met with Harkon. The same is true for Alusati and Ra’thri-Dar. Serana and Athasai know this.
Kayesek failed to save his father when their home was attacked by bandits, his brother disowned him and he moved to Chorrol in Cyrodiil. Despite his brother’s cruel words to him, the event made him determined to try his best at preventing a similar tragedy befalling other families. Only Yaznakh, Enron and Lydia know about it.
Gelor was more or less bored with the lack of life/world-altering events going on when he was a boy as he was born after the Great War and found a shrine to Mehrunes Dagon, left completely undisturbed. He had always had the hidden, controversial opinion that Dagon brought about a catalyst for rebirth from the ashes. When Dagon first spoke to him, it became his main purpose in life to revive the Mythic Dawn. Silus knew before Gelor killed him.
Rena grew up in the slums of Bravil and despite her parents trying their best to provide for her they were still poor labourers. When she discovered her gift in haggling she realised the potential for earning money almost instantly, it made her determined to never fall into poverty again. Daro’adhi is the one who knows.
Lisnna was ostracized by other nobles as she was a bastard of a much-beloved man who was considered honourable. The scandal caused him to give up his position in the court, the death of her mentor during the Invasion of Wayrest, who taught her magic, the only person she felt truly close with gave her the conviction to train her magical abilities and try to take Wayrest back from the Corsairs who overtook it. Mausis, Loueus, Borgakh, Erandur and her colleagues at the College of Winterhold know.
Loueus was always a worshipper of Hircine, believing strongly in the potential for the Bloodmoon Prophecy of the Fourth Era to come about in his lifetime. While it’s a far-off date, the corsairs that overtook Wayrest were commanded to root out any sort of Daedra worship. This included the hunters Loueus grew up with, he was out hunting when they were attacked and killed. Mausis, Lisnna, Erandur and Borgakh know.
Mausis always experienced prejudice on account his Orcish heritage and after the Invasion of Wayrest, in which he lost his adopted parents and many of his mentors. Like his friends, he wants to take Wayrest back from the Corsairs but knows he needs power to do it and uses the skills he has to become a squire in an attempt to work his way up the social ladder. Lisnna, Loueus, Erandur and Borgakh know.
Yaznakh always wanted to join the Legion as her Altmer father was a Legionairre. When she first started losing friends though, that’s when the cruel reality of war sunk in for her. Fighting in the Great War made her stricter and harder but also installed in her a burning desire to stop the Dominion from taking Tamriel or die trying.
Daro’adhi, like Rena grew up in Bravil’s slums. Her parents were Skooma addicts, unfortunately her mother died after a bad batch of the narcotic and her father desperately tried to use their inheritance to pay of a powerful skooma dealer. It didn’t work, her father was killed and she was left an orphan. Because of this, she learned to be a thief to survive and hates both skooma and the scum who peddle it, as she puts it. Rena, a few other rough sleepers in Bravil and several members of the Thieves Guild know.
Ushwei was once loyal to the king of Black Marsh but questioned why more wasn’t being done to help Argonians outside of their home province. While it annoyed him that he typically got a cryptic answer about how any Argonian from outside Black Marsh was a traitor he still loyally served. Until one day a group of Dunmer refugees, a child among them, was caught trying to cross over to Cyrodiil through Black Marsh due to a lack of regulations of Imperial authority on it’s borders. The king spun a tale about how they were spies of the Great Houses and ordered them all executed. Despite his pleas for mercy, Ushwei was ignored and resigned as the king’s bodyguard, claiming he didn’t want to serve a monarch who cowered at the sight of a little girl. Brand-Shei, Madesi, Sonaire, Horoth and Derormr know what happened.
Veesk was always ostracized, so she basically grew up very bitter but once she learned of the Shadowscales, made it her mission to seek out the Dark Brotherhood. Riraisa and the rest of the Dark Brotherhood know.
Enron used to be an optimistic soldier in the Aldmeri Dominion army during the Great War unfortunately, the deaths of his parents and friends, among them the love of his life. As well as his participation in atrocities absolutely broke him. He grew to hate the Dominion because of this, which was only exacerbated by his superior’s flippant attitude towards his loved one’s deaths. However, he saw his desertion as the first step towards redemption and decides to dedicate his life to helping people. Yaznakh, Kayesek and Lydia know.
Sonaire saw her husband killed by hired thugs sent after her and her spouse by her father, who had planned to marry her off to someone else. Coincidentally, she was rescued by members of another bandit group who were rivals of the thugs that invaded her home. One of them, an Orc named Guro, taught her everything she knew about how to fight. She stayed with the bandit group until they were dismantled due to numerous factors. She later joins the Ebonheart Company, though they don’t find out about her past until much later.
Horoth, as a Dunmer raised on Solstheim, was quite xenophobic to outsiders. The feelings of resentment against Argonians he was taught also fed into this. However, after he was helped out by Ushwei, he started to become a bit more open-minded and even grew to have a great respect for both Ushwei and Derormr. Sonaire, Ushwei and Derormr know.
Riraisa’s change was purely accidental, where she was from, due to the events of the Red Year and Argonian Invasion she was taught to never harm a child, anyone who dared to do so were to be given the most severe punishments. After fleeing from town guards as she unwittingly made herself an accomplice to a serial killer, she arrived in Riften. Hoping to find work in the orphanage, she came across Grelod abusing the children in her care, next thing she knew, she’d slashed the old hag’s throat open. She was later kidnapped by Astrid and was inducted into the DB. Veesk and the rest of the DB knows.
Thalas’s parents were nationalistic Bosmer who despised the Aldmeri Dominion, one night after a heated debate during a political trip with several Thalmor representatives. They were set upon by Thalmor agents. She survived the encounter as she was hunting for food to return to her parents at the camp they set up. Thus her vendetta against the Dominion began.
Athasai lost his wife, son and daughter to a vampire. A pure-blooded Bonmasu who charmed his way into the hunting community Athasai belonged to. On the 20th of Evening Star (Molag Bal’s summoning day), the vampire revealed himself along with a coven of other vampires. After killing his family, the same vampire fed off Athasai, though he had already drank blood from each member of Athasai’s family, meaning he didn’t take enough to kill Athasai and inadvertently turned him into a pure-blood Bonmasu. He turned from a mild-mannered hunter into a ruthless avenger, hellbent on tracking down the vampire that ruined his mortal life. Serana, Alusati, Ingda and Ra’thri-Dar know.

6 for all? :)
6) Describe their eyes
Derormr’s are a piercing blue in colour, round and wide-set.
Ingda’s eyes are deep-green and roundish-almond in shape, her left is arguably more prominent as it’s surrounded by a streak of red war paint.
Kayesek’s are brown and thin, underneath his left one is some of the scarring where a goblin managed to get at him.
Alusati are upturned, thin and grey. Both are made more prominent by the dark-orange, skull-like war paint she frequently wears.
Gelor is heterochromatic, his eyes are prominent, one hazel, the other green.
Rena’s are green, thin, almond-shaped both have yellow war paint over them.
Loueus’s are light-brown and hooded.
Lisnna’s are round, sapphire blue, usually with purple eyeliner and eye shadow.
Enron’s are a light-green commonly found in the Altmer and are monolid in shape. Unlike the human races, Enron’s eyes are completely green outside of the pupil, which lies in the centre of a slightly-darker hued iris to the more brightly-coloured sclera.
Sonaire, like the other elven races, has eye colouration for the entirety of the eyes, in her case, yellow. They’re upturned in shape, her face is fully covered in white, skull war paint.
Horoth’s eyes are thin and like many Dunmer, are a deep, blood-red. Like most elves, his eyes are upturned as well.
Riraisa’s eyes are also red, with a slightly, reddish tint around them, they are thin and monolid.
Athasai’s are almond in shape, amber in colour but usually never keeps his eyes fully open, giving off an appearance that he has a light scowl almost constantly. He also has dark-green war paint resembling the upper half of a skull.
Thalas’s are pure black, so it’s difficult to make out features, they’re round. Because of their prominence, it tends to unnerve some people.
Mausis’s are close-set, beady and a dull yellow in colour
Yaznakh’s are wide-set and round while being a bluish-silver in colour. Mix it with her barking out an order or a battle-cry and it becomes quite intimidating.
Ra’thri-Dar’s, naturally are cat-like, having but the slightest tinge of green to them, in right light, his eyes could appear white. His pupils are black slits.
Daro’adhi, again, cat-like eyes. Her ones have a yellowish tinge, her pupils are also slit, but quite thick.
Ushwei’s are prominently out, much like real lizards, they’re almost completely white except for the rounded, black pupils.
Veesk’s eyes are red with thin slits and with her unusually pale scales, almost makes her look albino.

Enron/Yaznakh: “I’ve only had Kayesek for a day and a half, but if anything happened to him I’d kill everyone in this room and then myself.”

#10 for the OCTP asks?
‘What do they think is the strangest thing about each other?’
This is a ship between my Elder Scrolls OC based on my own play through, Kayesek and Ria, a character from the Companions warrior guild in the Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.
The strangest thing to Ria is that Kayesek has the soul of a dragon… no seriously he has the body of a mortal but the literal soul of a dragon that allows him to use Shouts, a dragon’s main form of magic, with little difficulty. She doesn’t mind it though.
For Kayesek, it’s Ria’s uncanny ability to drink everyone, including Torvar (the heaviest drinker in the Companions) under the table. He of course has to carry her to bed and make sure she’s comfortable despite the hangover she’s going to have. Luckily, she’s a happy drunk and tends to make some very bad puns, Kayesek laughs at them anyway.
