outfits and forms for my rewrite of 2017 gene :D!

outfit 1: i’ve always liked his dt17 design so i tried to stay as close to it as possible! just a few slight color changes and some teeny additions.

outfit 2: to hide his magical identity from scrooge and the other adults, gene poses as a neighborhood kid friend of the triplets, claiming to have met them while hdl lived in the houseboat. seems sketchy tho, especially to donald.

outfit 3: gene’s form when he takes merlock’s amulet. surrounded by its corruptive energy, gene has gone haywire! it will take a certain magical girl to help him come to his senses.

outfit 4: gene shortly after being freed from his genie status. sports an early 90s styled t-shirt similar to the one he dons in the og movie.

outfit 5: his look during “escape from the impossibin!” and “the last adventure!”. he’s taken some time to develop his own fashion sense, despite it being very... er, colorful. i tried to mix late 80s/early 90s fashion with a wizard aesthetic to hint back at his magical roots. not pictured is an ancient staff he found during the events of “the last adventure!”, which he uses to harness the magic energy still left inside him.

as you can see, i’ve had far too much fun with this :P
