When Cassandra Cain first began taking ballet, her fellow dancers quickly warned her about the ghost haunting the theater.

"He likes to watch us. I see him looking down at the stage from the catwalk all the time."

Cass isn't sure that the ghost is real, but she is sure that the other dancers think he's real. They often gossip about the theater ghost in hushed whispers, knocking on wood at the very mention of him. Her teachers prefer not to talk about the ghost at all, but they don't deny its existence.

It's not until she is practicing alone on stage and feels eyes on her that she thinks there might be something to the ghost rumors.

Upcoming Mini-Event!

Hello, everyone! We’re well into 2025 by now, and I hope you’re all staying safe out there!

I have a question for you lovely Cornley fans;

Would you want to do another event?

Since Christmas is still a long way away, I thought that, if anyone is interested, we might do a little summer mini-event to keep us going till then.

Cornley Christmas in July 2025

The current plan is that it’ll work the same as last year’s Christmas event, consisting of a list of prompts for you to use as freely as you wish, plus an additional Quote Prompt which must be included fully in your work if you choose to use it.

The only real difference is that the list itself would be significantly shorter, with only five prompts (plus the quote), and that it’ll be summer themed. The timeframe from prompt drop to collection reveal would be two months.

There will be post with links and more thorough information in time, but if you’re interested in joining, please do let me know. And if you have any questions for me regarding rules, schedule, or anything, both asks and messages are open and I’m happy to help.

+ Sorry ‘bout the promised event badges for CCC2024. The winter’s been rough, and the day before yesterday was the first time this year I picked up my iPad to draw. I still haven’t ruled out finishing them, but I feel they are a bit outdated now, regardless. But if I do, I promise I’ll post them.

These two in the same scene is so hilarious to me like they are two extreme opposite ends of the spectrum Idk just looking at Tom Hulce and John Belushi standing next to each other amuses me to no end, it's wild

I find these very awkward just cos there no smile coming from both of them at all which make me think something isn't right with recent events that happen also something defo brewing cos here it look like they undercomforable and doesn't look like neither Arms are around each other neither. This defo looks cringe cos literally no smile from either since recent events that happen

I will use this as an update to this post from earlier, to clarify that it seems Michael was at A View From the Bridge tonight, rather than Kiss Me, Kate.

It turns out that Callum Scott Howells (who played Owen in Michael's directorial debut, The Way) was in the play, and I'm going to put up a few pictures of Michael with Callum and Dominic West that pretty much say it all:

The last one is a particular favorite for oh-so-many reasons (hello, arms, and also twink/Daddy vibes...), but I'm just sort of floored at the difference between these pictures and the pictures with Anna. If people are unwilling to see that difference/how unhappy they both seem at this point--to where neither Michael nor AL look like they're even trying in these pics--I'm not sure what else can really be said.

All I can say is that Michael's face is visibly lit up in the picture with Dominic and the pictures with Callum, which makes it more noticeable when his face is not lit up otherwise. And I know we could say there are a hundred reasons why he looks so sullen in the first set of pictures (he's tired, travel issues, etc.), but what takes this into the realm of purposeful for me is seeing him with the other people at the after party. I think Michael is an incredibly good and talented actor, but when he's being himself, he is never going to pretend to feel something he doesn't feel, or to pretend not to feel something that he does. And that seems clearer than ever in these pictures.

Could I be completely wrong about all of this? Of course. But I'm hard-pressed to see how anyone can keep ignoring what is plainly right in front of us, and has been for some time. I'd be glad to hear from my followers as well with your thoughts...

I can totally see the resemblance and why people mix up Kathryn Hahn and Adele Dazeem sometimes especially after these roles😭😭😭 just thought I'd share because they gave them both a "villain" character in 2021 accidentally so. Their beautiful striking features being accentuated by the makeup and costumes they wore
