It's almost a new year and the past weeks I've been doing a rerun of the year 2o14 in my head. What happend and what should have happened. People I met and people I've lost along the way. As much as I love posting quotes and keep telling myself "HEY! How about you try living it?!" I keep doing the same dumb mistakes. I trust too easily in people. My husband keeps telling me how a "good-hearted" idiot I am. This year I thought it would be different as I had "friends" coming back in my lives only to realize in the end the whole story repeats itself. For the longest time I thought maybe I'm at fault and I keep making the same mistake until a good friend told me I was giving more than I should. I started feeling tired of running after them until one day I woke up and thought "F**k it. I had enough." I started caring less and less until it was suddenly a reflex of not caring anymore at all. I realised I still had awesome friends who takes care of this friendship I have to offer instead of taking it for granted and for that I am truly thankful. As for the new year...I don't want "NEW" but "CHANGES". I want to change for the better and not let myself be dragged with insecurites that people have been pushing into my head. I will welcome the new year with a smile and no more heart breaks. #quoteoftheday #newyearsresolution #changesofheart
