me and tartaglia playing league of legends looks like:

unfortunately tartaglia plays all the champs I dislike. mainly: mid lane assassins. kills squishy champions in the blink of an eye. he's a zed and akali main, with the occasional talon that can get flexed to jungle when he's filled. ew. stinky.

he's scary good at this game. high elo for sure, at least grandmaster every season but if he grinds he'll hit challenger.

and then there's me. platinum support player with my girly enchanters and mages >u<

I refuse to let him rank with me on my main because I won't let him carry me hmph I will earn my rank myself!! he always teases me and tries to let me rank with him on main but he actually is proud of me for climbing on my own hehe

we have alt accounts that we duo on. I either drag him to bot lane and he'll play samira, kai'sa, or aphelios while I support him, or he'll jungle while I play seraphine, syndra, or lux in mid lane

games are so fun with him c: we have very good synergy and get so silly sometimes, kill stealing each other without getting upset. or we'll flash in base before game starts >.<

he never responds to toxic chat messages when he's playing solo (because he's locked in and would rather just skill diff the trash talker)

but when anyone says a bad thing about me? he gets so mad. types the most creative insults yet somehow escapes from being banned. if it's an enemy, that enemy is going 0/20 and all 20 deaths are from me or tartaglia. he'll also keep checking in with me to make sure I'm okay and that what they're saying isn't getting to me <3

he's also so good about coaching me when he notices there are some things that I can do differently to play better hehe.

when I make a sick play like land a four person seraphine ult or flash lulu ult him?? he goes nuts LAKSDFJDFJJ drops a good girl and it's gg for me

Stuck at work rn, but I'm scratching my brain over SG!Yzl

Before SG 2022 released, I had her pinned as an outer Guardian like Syndra and Nilah.

But after the event was over and we had some lore on Fiddlesticks... I really think Yzl would be a Nemesis--a Star Guardian that has fallen into the deepest depths of dispair and hatred.

But that also makes me wonder: What seperates Nemesis from Corrupted Star Guardians (Zoe, Rakan, Xayah, and also arguably Syndra and Akali)?

Well, personally.... I think Nemesis are devoid of "hope", the very thing the First Star stands for.

Out of all the Corrupted, Zoe and Syndra might be the hardest to identify "hope" in. But they also don't seem to outright hate the Guardians the same way Morgana does. They're not keen on Morgana's plan to spiral the universe into entropy.

On the flip-side. Rakan and Xayah, as well as Akali, are the easiest to see hope in. Both groups anchor themselves to another and rely on them to keep them stable.

Xayah and Rakan rely on eachother (Xayah fights for Rakan, and Rakan wants to save Xayah from her hatred towards Ahri).

Akali grounds herself on the promise she and Kai'sa made. They're best friends, and neither of them want to lose that to Morgana's plans.

But back to Yzl. Based on everything my brain has spit at yall, why would I say Yzl would be a Nemesis? Why not just a Corrupted?

Well, I really think Yzl would lose hope. She would realize The Oath is founded on empty promises and unavoidable sacrifice. While she gained the power to protect those close to her, she would eventually realize there is no happy end.

Her friends and everything she vowed to protect was gone. What now? What purpose did she have? None. She no longer had purpose in the eyes of the First Star--her oath was broken.

But she did not turn herself over to malice as Morgana did. Many saw Yzl as the enemy--a being that appeared and scattered the light of many Star Guardians.

But her goal wasnt of malice. Her means were cruel, but her goal was something she wished she could achieve herself.

Yzl wishes to believe there is still hope, somewhere, for this dying universe. So she challenges Star Guardians, testing their resolve. Testing their willingness to go the extra mile for the oath. For eachother. For the hope that binds them together.

She did not want a repeat of her own fate. She didn't want any more dispair.

she giggled, amusement evident as a delicate hand covered petal-soft lips to stifle her giggles, though she was not entirely successful in her endeavor. having never been threatened in such a way, this delighted the being in a way she couldn't describe. it was not as if hyeon-seung was ignorant of the other's power. one could not ignore how it radiated off of them. it seemed like they had the expectation to be listened to and feared.

time seemed to slow as the vastayan stood, iridescent eyes flashing with a challenge. she could only tolerate such disrespect for so long before pride demanded penance for such transgressions. hyeon-seung locked eyes with the other being, smile never slipping even as something more sinister curled at the edges of it.

sg!syndra, still pretending to be the ally, uses her powers to grab one of sg!taliyah's stones and throw it back at her. of course, misses. after all, it's just training. ❝  good. but not good enough.  ❞ @seekspower

✦━━━━━━━━  Taliyah huffs at the challenge, glistening brows furrowing, but fixes her battle stance nonetheless. Syndra is undisputed in her experience, as always, and Taliyah can only believe her. It would be impossible for a new Guardian like herself to have perfect technique so soon. Still, it's frustrating to be reminded of it. She briefly wonders if she can ever be like Syndra, to catch up to her and stand as her equal.

The practice has been strict, at times grueling. Taliyah would lie if she claimed to enjoy it everytime. Truthfully, she'd much rather use her powers to roam Valoran and the galaxies beyond it, and let the journey teach her-- but that would mean leaving her team, and she could never do it. So, she bears with the training. While certainly obliged, she does genuinely enjoy exploring the depths of her powers, and most of all openly being her Guardian self.

Today however, her mood betrays her. It's been difficult to balance her regular life with being a Guardian, and this practice session seemed particularly needless. Almost like they want to tease her about her inexperience! Chest still heaving from the recent sparring session, she draws in a sharp breath, and it's the only warning the older Guardian gets of what's coming.

Along with her words, her arm swipes, and another stone comes alive like a comet, flies past the older Guardian.

Dearest Skye,

In the echoes of our glorious, and yet disquieting, victory in the Port Nyanzaru coliseum, I pen this letter to you. These words are my only solace, as they bring you, if only in my mind, back to my side.

Our trio of battles began against seven mighty tigers, their ferocity proving a true challenge for our party. Orladhall and I bore the brunt of their strikes, our bodies bearing testament to their formidable prowess. It was then that Seki and Delores, clever as always, decided to intervene in their discreet manner. A healing spell, masked by Seki's loud cheer, fell upon Orladhall, rejuvenating him enough to continue. We, battered but unbowed, faced the tigers, finally bringing each one down. It was De’leon who struck the killing blow to the last tiger, his flame-kissed rapier silencing it forever, sending the crowd into a frenzy of cheers.

The second bout of the challenge was less daunting. We found ourselves faced with two giant scorpions, whose feeble attempts at damaging us proved futile. We brought them down before they could even approach us, their demise drawing another round of cheers from the enthralled crowd.

The third and final encounter was the most testing of all, my love. As the gong resonated through the arena, a monstrous Tyrannosaurus Rex burst into the battleground, its roar sending a shudder through every soul present. Angle cleverly conjured a field of sharp rocks, slowing the beast's advance and leaving it vulnerable to our combined attacks. In a final moment of terrible thrill, Orladhall found himself within the monster's jaw, which led to its downfall. As Orladhall held the beast's mouth open, I seized the opportunity to strike. With a swift double-footed stomp, I brought the T-Rex down, its fall followed by a hush and then an explosion of cheers from the crowd.

Despite the night growing late, our celebrations were cut short by an unexpected encounter with Grandfather Zitembe. We were led to a quiet storage yard, where Syndra Silvane and an unknown woman awaited us. It was there that we were chastised for our actions, reminded of our mission, and urged to leave Port Nyanzaru to avoid the wrath of Wakanga O'tamu, whose gifted scrolls we had sold. The revelations about the Harpers, Artus Cimber, and the Ring of Winter added another layer of complexity to our quest.

As we prepared to depart the city, we found our new guide, Musharib, and made for the docks. However, Seki's newfound companion, the triceratops Chickpea, could not accompany us on the ship. It was a bitter farewell, softened by Azaka's agreement to look after the creature. In the early hours, we awakened our ship's captain, Ortimay Swift and Dark, and set sail, our pockets lighter by an extra 10 gold pieces.

Skye, the twists and turns of this journey are a test of our mettle, each one bringing us closer to our goal and yet further from the familiar. I wish you could share in our triumphs and tribulations. I miss you, my love. Until my next letter, know that you are in my heart, guiding my every step.

Might be a bit early to announce lol but I'm working on a Star Guardian fanfic!! WANDERING STAR will be a story written in third person, who takes Syndra and her mysterious quest(s) as the main character/focus, and how her presence will affect those around her! However the POV of this story might change at certain parts due to her absence, since our protagonist wanders from place to place in order to accomplish her goals. Syndra's journey makes her come across Ahri's crew, a new but talented team that has yet to learn the dark, true meaning of being a Star Guardian. They will discover this hidden truth through challenges, discrepancies and broken promises, along with the birth and death of bonds that will help them change and grow. But they are not alone in this trip, for all kinds of dangers lurk through the Darkness, watching all their steps and patiently waiting for a chance to strike and break them. Our Guardians must stick together in order to overcome such terrible force, but sadly, their destiny was sealed time ago. ... Unless someone can change it. ------------------------------------------------------------ A BIT OF COMMENTARY:

This is the first time that I'm going to write a fanfic, and I'm so excited for it!! I've been writing as a hobby (through RP rolf) for 12~13 years, but I wanted to try a new and healthier way to approach it, and dare to tell a story that I could share beyond my circles. Wandering Star will have a semi-canon setting, meaning that it will respect the canon timeline and story, while adding non-canon ideas of mine, since the past of Ahri's team or how Syndra get to join them is something that hasn't been told or shown yet. I decided to make Syndra the main character (not only because I like her oops-) because we have never seen her in action despite her importance in Star Guardian. I think she has great narrative potential, as well as I find interesting her complexities as a morally-gray character, so I think this POV will be a bit refreshing since the canon SGs stories always featured heroes / Guardians loyal to the First Star as the main characters. ANYWAYS I just hope I can portray these ideas as best as possible, and make justice to them and these characters. I will give my all and improve as much as my knowledge and skill allow me, since I'm not a writing expert. Still, by the time of release (no stablished date yet), all feedback will be welcomed!!

I write again from a world of wild beauty and dangerous adventure, trusting these tales find their way to your serene soul.

We heard from Seki, Orladhall, and Azaka about their grim discovery of the Yellyark village crash site. The sight was harrowing, their catapult apparently only designed for their makeshift dwellings, not the villagers. The grisly remnants of the goblin villagers and grungs gave the scene a haunting sense of unintended consequences. Amidst this macabre setting, the only salvageable items were barrels of tej. The day ended with a somber toast to those who met an untimely end.

Back in Port Nyanzaru, Angle, Delores, De'leon, and I reveled in Wakanga's hospitality, bathing and laundering our well-travelled clothes. The feeling of being clean, Skye, was a gift in itself. The separate quest party soon arrived and joined in our moment of luxury. We shared stories, laughter, and Seki confided his worries about Orladhall's spaced-out spells. Azaka, our faithful guide, announced her departure. She gave us advice on potential replacements, and Delores gifted her a knitted tiger-patterned hat. I could not help but think how you would have adored it.

In the evening, we dined with Wakanga and our patron, Syndra Silvane. Her health was visibly deteriorating, but her spirit remained resilient. We recounted our adventures, and I once again inquired about Artus Cimber, met only by Syndra's evasiveness. Wakanga suggested seeking out Zindar, the harbourmaster, to secure a ship for our journey.

Our sleep was interrupted by a messenger from the coliseum, who intrigued us with an offer to fight a mystery opponent in a special event. Despite Delores' reservations, we agreed to participate.

Day 41 was about business. Meeting Zindar, a majestic golden half-dragon, we learnt about the hefty bounty on pirate ships disrupting the tranquility of Chult. We also inspected a sleek ship, the Brazen Pegasus, available for hire at a daily cost. Its captain warned us of a dragon turtle that required an offering of treasure to allow safe passage. We then met with Musharib, an albino dwarf guide, who agreed to guide us in exchange for help reclaiming the dwarven forge of Hrakhamar from fire newts.

We spent the morning discussing the disposal of the spell scrolls we'd received from Wakanga. The idea of selling them was tempting, but Wakanga’s monopoly made it a challenge. The black market in the city slums surfaced as a promising alternative, leading us into another labyrinth of intrigue.
