The Golden Circle memang tampil tidak sebaik film pertamanya, sequel ini bukanlah sebuah film yang superior atau sequel yang sangat perlu untuk dihadirkan. Namun dalam urusan untuk sekedar memuaskan penggemar dari film pertamanya, The Golden Circle tampil dengan baik.

Sebuah film yang mampu memberikan perasaan kolektif yakni duka masa lalu, dan nasionalisme di bulan Agustus. Dua hal tersebut adalah perasaan yang mampu dirasakan secara kolektif oleh setiap penontonnya. Untungnya film ini dikemas dengan baik oleh sutradara Ryu Seung Wan (Veteran, The Berlin File) sehingga bukan hanya menjual perasaan kolektif saja tapi benar-benar sebuah film blockbuster yang menghibur.
