Could you do a oneshot where reader is around 18-19 years old and they're ghostface and jill roberts younger adopted sibling, and they basically did it for revenge for what happened to Jill (and they wanna carry on her legacy by getting famous off this), and they plan on going after everyone sidney knows, which means they're after any survivor of ghostface. So basically instead of having a whole reveal and quinn and her dad being ghostfaces, it's just ethan and reader that are ghostfaces and they frame Quinn and Bailey but the core 4 and gkirby and gale don't know because they had arrived after ethan and reader were done setting up the "aftermath" of the reveal (yk like they injure themselves purposely, and make It look like quinn and Bailey did it). So flash forward a week or two ethan and reader gather the core 4, kirby, and gale at readers house or apartment, and ethan and reader reveal themselves as ghostface (you can decide whether they lose or not, also can reader and ethan be dating secretly but reader betrays him like Jill did Charlie)
a/n : thank you for the request anon!! i hope you enjoy :D
this fic contains : cursing, mentions of death, stabbing, g*ns, blood, murder, violence, etc!! pls stay safe <3
better than revenge
ethan landry x reader
you sat next to anika, eyes glued to the television screen. the news reporter talking about the film students who you just so happened to have a little, chat, with. you weren't really listening, only hearing a panicked sam telling tara to pack her things. a phone starts ringing, making everyone's heads turn toward the noise. it was quinn's.
"it's my dad" she says, picking up and leaving to go into her room. you looked over to ethan, who was already looking up at you. the plan was working. soon enough quinn was speed-walking around the room, grabbing her coat and keys. she pulls the phone away from her face, "hey i've gotta go down to the station, i'll be back in a bit"
before anyone could say anything, she slams the door shut, clearly in a hurry. soon enough, a photo of quinn's drivers license flashed up on the tv, covered in blood at the crime scene. voices started to murmur around the room, you took this as your sign to leave.
"hey, i'm probably gonna head back to my dorm. make sure my roommate's okay." you say, gathering your stuff. "woah wait, no you're not leaving. we need to stay together." mindy says, leaving anika's grasp by standing up. ethan stands up too, "i'll walk them there, plus we both have econ tomorrow. we can be each other's alibis."
mindy looks at us, suspiciously eyeing us down before sighing, "fine, but if you go missing any other time, i swear to god–" chad cuts her off with an 'okay calm down', turning to the both of you with an apologetic look on his face. you turn to leave, letting ethan grab his stuff, before opening the door and leaving the apartment.
you both walk down the dimly lit sidewalks towards campus, occasionally bumping shoulders. ethan clears his throat, which makes you turn to him, "so what's next?" it makes you wanna roll your eyes, but you turn to him, "next, we frame quinn and her dad. i thought we already went over this?" he just nods, turning back towards the sidewalk ahead of you.
he understood why you were doing this, all for your sister's legacy. but why did you need him? he didn't wanna think too much about it, he was just happy to help you get revenge.
--
tara had told you quinn was out hooking up with some guy downtown, you didn't really know. all you knew was she was out, and could only imagine her dad was trying to solve the case of the murders. you told—no—sent ethan to pay a visit to your friends. since they knew you and ethan were both at 'econ', they could only assume it none other than quinn.
you, on the other hand, were getting ready for your part of the plan in your dorm. you had followed your sister's steps with this one. you plunged the knife into your thigh, grimacing while you twisted it. you just hoped ethan would be on time before you actually died.
you hit your limbs into different types of furniture, making sure bruises would form, breaking anything you could to make it look like you were attacked. you added a slash or two on your stomach and arms, before stumbling to your kitchen. you placed the knife in the sink, making sure to wash your blood off of it before going to lay in your spot.
you honestly didn't even have to fake cry. with how much pain you were in, your tear ducts did the job for you. just then the door slams open, revealing ethan. he looks like he's worried, despite him knowing the plan before hand, as well as putting on the whole nerdy act. you could hear him on the phone, probably calling kirby or someone, saying that you were both being attacked. everything faded to black before you could say anything.
--
it had been a couple weeks since the "incident". with ethan planting all of the evidence pointing to quinn and her dad being the murderers, kirby and gale were having a little 'survivor get together' or so they called it. you offered to have it at your place, since it was already fixed and pretty spacious, considering your roommate moving out after you were attacked.
you were the recent talk of blackmore university, and you were loving it. jill was right, you didn't need friends. you needed followers. and you'd be damned if you gonna let it stop. you needed to be sure to keep her legacy alive, you just had to get rid of the other woodsboro massacre survivors. and your little boyfriend in the process.
which you didn't even know if you could call him that. sure, in another life, another timeline, he'd be your dream guy. but that was another life. not this one.
you held up your glass of what was not wine, but you toasted anyway, "to the survivors," you fake smiled, looking to ethan, who was at the back of the room. he had a look that only you'd seen, and to be completely honest, it was hot.
"though," this caught people's attention, "i don't know if i'd call you that after tonight." confused looks shot over everyone's faces, "what do you mean y/n?" tara asked.
"oh its simple, really. i was tasked with a dying wish. my sister, jill," a look that you couldn't decipher wiped over kirby's face, "was murdered. she wanted to be famous like our cousin sidney. she would've loved social media these days and how easy a sob story can make you famous. too bad she never got to see it."
"jill never had a sibling." kirby said, clearly mad she'd been tricked again. "oh but she did. i came around right before her death. i was adopted and she just so happened to leave behind notes upon notes about herself. a guide, if you will, to go by. don't you think it's time for a little revenge?" you say, looking toward ethan, nodding.
kirby reaches for her gun, realizing it wasn't there. you wave it around, acting like a little kid mocking the other kid after stealing their toy. ethan stabs her, multiple times, leaving her to fall on the ground. ethan knew you had to act like you both got attacked again, putting his arms in the air, letting you know he was ready.
"sorry but there can only be one sole survivor" you whispered in his ear, stabbing him in the chest. you were really following in your sister's footsteps. he looked defeated, having been betrayed but you didn't really care. you needed to find the rest of the fuckers that snuck away.
you dropped the gun for a second, pulling the knife out of his chest. you reach for the gun, realizing it's not there. you turn to see tara holding the gun, "say hi to your sister for me." she says, pulling the trigger, shooting you in the chest. at least you could say you fufilled your older sister's legacy.

Cabinet Endorsements
One thing that's flown a bit below the radar in this election is that former cabinet members haven't been acting like they usually do. Normally, former cabinet members will automatically endorse their former boss for re-election, but Trump's have not been doing that.
This is of particular interest because, while we, the voters, get to see the President give speeches and the like, we don't actually work with him. Presumably a cabinet member is someone who agrees with the president and who the president trusts and who gets to work closely with the president, so their opinion of the president is an important benchmark.
With that in mind, let's take a look at the 44 former cabinet members of the Donald J. Trump administration and the 2 former cabinet members of the Joseph R. Biden administration. I'll put an (E) next to the ones that have endorsed their former boss, an (H) next to the ones who haven't yet, and an (R) next to the ones who have outright refused to do so.
Cabinet Members of the Donald J. Trump Administration (R) VP Mike Pence (H) Sec. State Rex Tillerson (H) Sec. State/CIA Director Mike Pompeo (E) Sec. Treasury Steven Mnuchin (R) Sec. Defense James Mattis (H) Sec. Defense Patrick Shanahan (nominated) (R) Sec. Defense Mark Esper (H) Sec. Defense Christopher Miller (acting) (H) AG Jeff Sessions (R) AG William Barr (H) AG Jeffrey Rosen (acting) (E) Sec. Interior Ryan Zinke (H) Sec. Interior David Bernhardt (H) Sec. Agriculture Sonny Perdue (E) Sec. Commerce Wilbur Ross (H) Sec. Labor Andrew Puzder (nominated) (H) Sec. Labor Alex Acosta (H) Sec. Labor Eugene Scalia (H) Sec. HHS Tom Price (H) Sec. HHS Alex Azar (H) Sec. HHS Pete Gaynor (E) Sec. HUD Ben Carson (H) Sec. Transporation Elaine Chao (H) Sec. Transportation Steven Bradbury (acting) (H) Sec. Energy Rick Perry (H) Sec. Energy Dan Brouillette (H) Sec. Education Besty DeVos (H) Sec. Education Mick Zais (acting) (H) Sec. VA David Shulkin (E) Sec. VA Ronny Jackson (nominated) (H) Sec. VA Robert Wilkie (R) Sec. HS John Kelly (H) Sec. HS Kirstjen Nielsen (H) Sec. HS Chad Wolf (nominated) (E) US Trade Rep. Robert Lighthizer (H) DNI Dan Coats (H) DNI John Ratcliffe (H) UN Ambassador Nikki Haley (H) OMB Directory Mick Mulvaney (E) OMB Director Russel Vought (H) CIA Director Gina Haspel (H) EPA Admin. Scott Pruitt (H) EPA Admin. Andrew Wheeler (H) SBA Admin. Linda McMahon (H) SBA Admin. Jovita Caranza
Cabinet Members of the Joseph R. Biden Administration (E) Sec. Labor Marty Walsh (E) OMB Director Neera Tanden (nominated) (H) Office of Science and Tech. Director Eric Lander
The first thing we notice, obviously, is that there are a whole lot more former Trump cabinet members. This is partially because Biden is still in office so his 23 current cabinet members are not counted (it'd be a huge surprise if they didn't endorse him and they probably wouldn't still be working for him if they didn't), but it's also because Trump had way above average turnover for cabinet officials, 19 in the first four years not including the 5 who resigned due to his handling of the 2020 election results (not included because Biden hasn't reached that point in his first term yet), while Biden has had far below average turnover, only 3 so far.
So a lot more people shuffling in and out of the Trump administration, but we also notice a ton more H's than E's there. Heck, there's almost as many R's among Trump's people as there are E's (5 to 7). Meanwhile, Biden's shooting 2 for 3 and the third one hasn't (at least not that I could find) ruled out endorsing him.
Keep in mind, endorsing the nominee of your party is pretty much the bare minimum that any party operative needs to do. Imagine if you applied for a job somewhere, the first question was "do you think this company should be in business", and you answered "no". You probably wouldn't be getting a job there. In other words, refusing to endorse has some big consequences for the people doing it, not just costing them a job in the potential next Republican presidency, but locking them out of the party entirely, and yet a good deal of the people who worked for Trump disliked working with him so much that they're doing it anyways.
As I said, this tends to fly below the radar because it's kind of a formulaic ritual; of course members of the President's party who are closely tied to him are going to endorse him for re-election! That's why you should pay attention now that most of the people who've worked with Trump aren't doing so. It says something, something big.

Badger State Ghosts
Wisconsin's eminent folklorist Robert Gard once wrote, "Wisconsin has more ghosts per mile than any state in the nation." After surveying the spook scene, we have to conclude that he was absolutely correct. You can hardly swing a dead cat without hitting a ghost somewhere in the Badger State. In addition to Gard, the state owes a huge debt of gratitude to several other pioneers who gathered stories of nightwalkers, moon-flitters and other wispy death survivors. Charles E. Brown collected dozens of late-nineteenth-century and early twentieth-century stories, not only from the new European upstarts that took over the land, but from the people they displaced-the various Native American tribes.
In Haunted Wisconsin, by Beth Scott and Michael Norman, ghosts were taken out of dusty old archives and put into our living rooms where they belong. And Dennis Boyer has coaxed some amazing stories from saloon habitués, labor activists, and just plain Wisconsinites of all persuasions.
Paranormal researchers and organizations are keenly interested in investigating claims of hauntings and ghosts everywhere, from homes to businesses to abandoned buildings and cemeteries. Groups such as the Wisconsin Paranormal Research Center, the Wausau Paranormal Research Society, Wisconsin Ghost Investigations, and the Southern Wisconsin Paranormal Research Group and researchers such as Chad Lewis and Terry Fisk have all been active in scouring the state for haunted activity. These groups, if they've proven anything, have shown that Wisconsin is even more crowded with nonliving souls than Robert Gard could have imagined.
What follows is a selected survey, rather than an exhaustive assay of ghosts, featuring some lesser-known and surprising ones. To document all ghosts and haunted spots would require a book far longer than this. Talk to any group of people, and chances are, more than half of the group will have a story to share.

Midnight Serenade
Contains: Fluff, smut. Takes place in a universe where Billy was a good guy.
1.2K words
So often the end of a love affair is death by a thousand cuts, so often its survival is life by a thousand stitches - Robert Breault.
Frank knew owning and running a business would be hard, even if it was with his best friend, but he didn't think it would be like that. All he wanted to do was go home and put his feet up, but instead, he had to waste his time standing around making sure some twenty something influencer didn't get themselves shot.
Chad Money, as he called himself, had gone too far with some comments online and ended up on the wrong side of a local gang, and now he needed help. Billy and Frank had done their best to send him in another direction, by another client, one who paid them a great deal of money, was insistent that they take him on. It got worse when they realised that insistence came from Chad having dated the client's daughter.
"You got a girl?" Chad sounded like he was trying to be Justin Timberlake at the high of his frosted tip days.
"I got a woman, and she's at home waiting for me, so I would appreciate it if you'd finish buying your shirts so I can get home to her." Frank had been here for hours, no man needs ten of the same shirt in a different colour, especially when they were two thousand dollars each.
Chad flashed him a grin, "You got a photo?"
Frank shook his head, "No, I don't keep one on my person when I'm working. For her safety." That was a lie, Frank had one in his wallet and one in his car, but he wasn't going to say that.
"Shame, I bet she's pretty." Frank wanted to punch him.
"She's very pretty," Frank looked at his watch, "How long will you be? I will need to call someone to relieve me if you're going to be much longer."
Chad shrugged, "I'm done now. I'll buy these and then you can go home to your girl, sorry, your woman."
Frank gave him a tight smile, "Thank you Mr Money."
****
Frank's back ached for the couch as he walked in the door, "By day dearest?" Frank grunted, "Oh, that bad. I imagine it has something to do your new client."
Frank huffed, "He fucking sucks. You know he admitted cheating on that client's daughter. He's fucking shameless."
You shook your head, "I'll get you a beer and you can put Justin Plywoodpond behind you."
Frank made a face, "Plywoodpond, did you come up with that on the fly?"
"Nope, I've been thinking about it since the first text you sent me." You could see the upset fade from Frank's face, "You gotta admit it's pretty good."
Frank already has his phone out, "Hell yeah it is, I'm telling Billy."
"I'd ordered a Pizza from eight just before you came in," you pointed to the freezer as you opened the fridge to get his beer, "I also battered some ice cream when I got home so we can have deep fried ice cream for dessert."
He grinned, "Fucking A, I'm a lucky man."
****
Frank stood behind you in the bathroom as you washed your face, toothbrush in his mouth and a skip in his step, but you waited until he was done to ask him why he was so happy, "What's gotten into you? The ice cream couldn't have been that good."
He smiled, "I just get to do what I've been thinking about all day."
Frank's lips met yours, he tasted of tingle mint, "You already did that when you got home Frank, more than once."
He shook his head, "I wasn't talking about the kiss."
"Oh, I see." You pointed to the bed and smiled, "I'll go wait for you, don't take long or I'll start early."
Frank shot you a look, "I'll be two minutes, you're not that impatient."
Sure enough, two minutes after you were settled, Frank emerged from the bathroom and flopped down into bed next to you, "So?"
You rolled onto your side, threw your leg over Frank's hip and straddled him, "So." You bent down and kissed him and he placed hands on your hips only to slide them all the way up to your face as the kiss deepened.
You felt Frank's cock harden underneath you as he broke the kiss to pull off your shirt. His hands were rough on your bare skin as he sat up and yanked you into his lap. There was an awkward shuffle as your parted so Frank could pull off his sweatpants and he stifled a laugh when you lost your balance on the way back to his lap, "It's not funny Frank."
Frank took your face in his hands and sighed, "It's kinda funny."
Frank pressed his lips to yours and gripped your panties before pulling them down your legs. You placed one hand on his cheek and grinned through the kiss as you ran the other hand all the way down his body to wrap around his cock.
Frank bit off a grunt and nipped your lips as you stroked him, and with a giggle, you removed your hand from his cheek and gave him a shove. It wasn't much in the way of force but he went down onto his back nonetheless. You removed your hand from his cock and slid it back up his body, placing both has on his chest and looking down at him with a smile, "What do you want to do here?"
Frank's eyes racked from where you were sitting on him to your eyes but not before lingering on your breasts, "Whatever you want." One of his huge hands moved from your thigh to your centre and a look of pride came over his face when he found you wet, "All this just from that?"
You sighed, "You're a smug bastard." Further words were stolen when he slid two thick fingers inside you, and it took all your control not to crumple over as he pressed his palm into your clit, "I love you."
Frank didn't slow, "Tell me you love me again."
"I love you." You could feel the tension of his muscles under your hands as you started to rock against his fingers.
"Again." His voice was tight and you wondered what he was thinking as his eyes locked on the hand between your legs.
"I love you." You clenched your legs around him to keep yourself stable as you came around his fingers and Frank huffed as your fingernails pricked the skin on his chest, "I need you."
Frank was already rushing to give you what you asked, pulling his fingers away so he could grab your hips as you gipped his cock and sunk down with a whimper, "Tell me you love me again."
"I love you Frank." You bent down and kissed him as your hips moved and Frank bucked into you.
"I love you too y/n." The rest was a hurried mess of teeth and tongue as one of Frank's hands reached down to rub your clit, "Come on, I'm right behind you."
You were powerless to resist as Frank noised turned feral as you clenched around him, "Atta girl." His hand moved off your clit, and he gripped your hip so hard you knew you would have bruises before he bucked his hips one last time. You felt him pulse inside you and you finally crumpled over as Frank ran his hands up and down your back, "You good?"
You nodded, "I'm great. You wanna order pancakes?"
Frank chuckled, "You got a sudden craving?"
"Yes I do. That place down the street does delivery." You took him in a kiss and he rubbed your nose with his, "It's still open."
Frank sighed, "Ok, pancakes sound good. I love you."
"I love you too Frank."

Let's talk about Scream Queens (Season One)!
2015 saw Fox debut Scream Queens, a horror comedy series produced by Ryan Murphy. Yes, the same Ryan Murphy who produced Glee and American Horror Story. Clearly going off of those shows, he's got a thing for scaring his viewers, right?
The Story:
Scream Queens focuses on the residents of the sorority house Kappa Kappa Tau. Kappa Kappa Tau is struggling to keep itself together in the midst of a masked serial killer haunting the campus. Our mysterious villain, the university's mascot, the 'Red Devil', targets the various people there for malevolent reasons.
Throughout the series, we discover more about the Red Devil's origins. All of it ties back to a baby born on a sorority party. Who is the killer, and who has their eyes on vengeance against Kappa Kappa Tau?
The Cast:
The various sorority sisters are a pretty colorful cast when you get down to it. I admit that a lot of them are purely used for comedic effects. Deaf Taylor Swift for example is a pretty obvious death, and she's mostly just there for the jokes.
When you get down to it though, the cast is surprisingly fun enough on its own. The characters also give some strong impressions on what there are. More than that, their actors give some strong performances as well.
Let's run down the list, shall we?
Chanel Oberlin, played by Emma Roberts, is basically the apex predator (Heh, Mean Girls) of the Sorority House. A mean-spirited elitist, Chanel is one of the focal characters outside of Grace. She has other followers behind her, including the deadpan Chanel #3, played by Billie Lourd, and the suck-up Chanel #5, played by Abigail Breslin. In addition, there was Chanel #2, played by Ariana Grande, who was quickly killed off.
Just beneath the Chanels are the various 'Pledges'. Half of them are actual characters, like Zayday Williams (Played by Keke Palmer), Grace Gardner (Played by Skyler Samuels), and Hester Ulrich (Played by Lea Michele). The other half? No, not so much.
The cast doesn't just end with Kappa Kappa Tau, however. The Dickie Dollar Boys are an established fraternity at Wallace University, led by Chad Radwell who is played by Ben Powell. Behind him is Boone, played by Nick Jonas, and Earl Grey, played by Lucien Laviscount.
Outside the university's institutions stands Dean Munsch, played by the iconic Scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis. She is a consistent antagonist to Chanel Oberlin, and also the catalyst for many of the new pledges' induction into the sorority.
Denise Hemphill is a riot act played by Niecey Nash, and the acting university security guard. Gigi Caldwell is the sorority den mother played by Nasim Padrad, who is stuck with part of her psyche trapped in the 90s. Wesley Gardner, played by Oliver Hudson, is Grace's overprotective father who stays on campus because of the Red Devil. Pete Martinez is the campus barista, an ex of Chanel Oberlin's, and a current boyfriend to Grace Gardner.
The Kills:
Scream Queens fashions itself off of the iconic horror movies of the past. A masked killer stalks a group of scared youths and then chops them up. It's a very basic premise, so it plays with a lot of the more 'obvious' tropes. This is all loving though, so it's nothing to poke fun at.
The Red Devil can get quite brutal when acting his kills. One moment he's using a lawnmower to brutally decapitate a young woman. The next he's just using a chainsaw to slice off a guy's arms. He also uses it to decapitate a guy in an ice cream cone costume.
When I was younger, I was bothered seeing Miss Bean get her face pushed into a fryer. The way that she's still alive, and her fingers are peeling off the burnt skin on her face. It bothered me, and it's one of those kills that's stuck with me ever since.
The experienced horror fans might be one of two categories. A, you will probably be bored by the overall kills, or probably just imagined they were done better elsewhere. OR Category B; you will actually find some of them alright.
Conclusion: Scream Queens is Totes Worth It (If you like the Comedy).
Scream Queens is a series that knows its genre in and out. Overall, I would rate the series pretty well. There is a lot of fun that I got out of watching the series.
Should there be a sequel? It's an important question to ask when it comes to certain TV Shows. Obviously, you would want to be aware of seasonal rot setting in. Some shows are just okay with ending and having the comfort of knowing that they happened.
Scream Queens is a fun series, and I would watch a new revival for it. However, I just find that there is nothing to really 'bring back'. The cast have gone on to do greater things beyond the show. The series is fine as it is, and I'm not sure if a revival would bring in a new audience.
If they somehow find a way to revive the series with good prospects, then I'd be interested. They could potentially rope in an all-new cast, preferably with some older characters as well. Kudos to the writers if they find a way to make Scream Queens work eight years after it's time.
Overall? I hope you enjoyed this bite-sized review! I'll be using something like this format for my TV Show reviews going forward. I'll try and hit up numerous other avenues for discussion.

I'm starting to think that celebrity crushes mean more than any other love😂, but you all know that feeling when you see a hot edit of your crush, how your heart beats and your chest tightens when you see them, the reason why I'm starting to think this, is becouse you can imagine practically anything without embarrassing yourself in front of someone in public. while at home in your room you can look at and drool over photos of some gorgeous actor all day long without anyone bothering you, mainly don't take this seriously, take it with exaggeration and as a joke, of course, I believe in true love and maybe even in love first glance, but sometimes this choice is simply better (and I also doubt that you don't go out the other Leonardo DiCaprio, johnny deep, bred pitt, rudy pankow, tom holland, drew starkey, chris-liam hemsworth, timothée chalamet, chaning tatum, ryan gosling, austin butler, glen powell, heath ledger, ben hardy, tom cruise, ryan reynolds, michael b. jordan, harry styles, shawn mendes, chris evans, jacob elordi, jason momoa, pedro pascal, george clooney, dwayne johnson zac efron, orlando bloom , henry cavill, iam somerhalder, andrew garfield, tom hiddleston, david beckham, chad michael murray, jim carrey, tom felton, cole sprouse, dylan o'brian, taylor lautner, justin bieber, nick jonas, robert pattinson, jeremy sumpter, jake gyllenhaal, noah centineo.....) I believe I had to write at least one of your celebrity crushes here, because if not, you're probably broken 😂
me imagining hugging my celebrity crush…
me judging someone after they tell me they don't have celebrity crush

9-1-1: Lone Star: The Pre-Wedding Activities Are Life or Death in This Exclusive Finale Clip
Can a toddler be resuscitated before it's too late?
youtube
Wedding bells are ringing on 9-1-1: Lone Star. In the two-hour season finale of the Fox procedural drama, police officer Carlos Reyes (Rafael L. Silva) and paramedic T.K. Strand (Ronen Rubinstein) will tie the knot in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their family and friends — but the happy couple will have to overcome a few more obstacles on their way to the wedding altar.
First up: a professional obstacle for T.K. and the 126. TV Guide's exclusive sneak peek of the finale picks up in the immediate aftermath of a call about a stolen car containing an armed suspect and an abducted toddler named Piper. When the car crashes into a home pool, fire captain Owen (Rob Lowe) dives in head first to save her. In the clip, Judd places the unresponsive child on a gurney, where the paramedics — Tommy (Gina Torres), Nancy (Briana Baker), and T.K. — spring into action to resuscitate her.
Although they will face a more personal obstacle later in the finale, viewers can rest assured that T.K. and Carlos, as evidenced in the promotional materials, will make it to their wedding, come hell or high water. "I look at it as tremendous progress," Rubinstein tells TV Guide about what the long-awaited "Tarlos" nuptials mean to him in today's social climate. "I don't think we would've seen this even a few years ago, and to be able to represent that and embody that image, it's an honor of a lifetime, it's deeply humbling."
"Yeah, it was a matter of when, not if, but man, it's been a long time coming," Rubinstein adds. "I think a recurring theme is that we've earned this wedding, we've earned these storylines, we've earned this relationship. And trust me: The writers have put us through every single hoop imaginable. … A show like 9-1-1: Lone Star is really unique and really special, because we're doing this on primetime network, on Fox. It's something I'm gonna look back on and be like, 'Wow, we were part of history.'"
Meanwhile, in the emotional season ender, Owen is conflicted when his half-brother Robert (guest star Chad Lowe), who was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's, asks him for help to end his own life, and Judd (Jim Parrack) and Grace (Sierra McClain) face a family crisis after Judd's teenage son, Wyatt (Jackson Pace), was involved in a potentially fatal biking accident at the end of last week's episode.
Check back with TV Guide on Tuesday night for post-mortem interviews with Silva, Rubinstein, and Parrack breaking down the key moments from the Season 4 finale.

SCALPER - Review
DISTRIBUTOR: Breaking Glass Pictures
SYNOPSIS: “Psychic Clementine Carter is confronted with a nightmarish reality as everyone around her falls victim to the sadistic reign of terror unleashed by 'The Scalper.' As the body count rises, the burning question remains: Is this the return of the dead psycho Andrew Lubitz, a cunning copycat killer, or something far more horrifying than the human imagination can conceive? In a deadly game of cat and mouse, she must rely on her psychic abilities to stay one step ahead of the maniac's relentless pursuit.” -Press Release
REVIEW: This is my second encounter with filmmaker Chad Ferrin, my previous “Pig Killer,” which also featured actors Jake Busey & Bai Ling. It’s slightly better than “Pig Killer,” but I had issues with the performances, the writing and some of the special effects.
Chad Ferrin is not a bad filmmaker. Technically, SCALPER has solid production designs, cinematography, okay editing and the atmosphere is enhanced by a score by the legendary Richard Band. The special effects are okay, but the mask the killer wears looks plastic at times.
The plot is an amalgamation of ideas we’ve seen in other films of this nature, too many to list here. The plot features thriller, supernatural and slasher elements. Some of it feels a bit unnecessary and could have been streamlined, such as the scenes of Clementine’s father and mother in what is a spiritual plane. The dialogue is okay and the core plot is not half bad, but ultimately SCALPER is say a White Castle slider as compared to a steakhouse burger.
The performances are okay. I liked Susan Priver’s character and it borders on campy, but never steps over the line. He adds a lot of empathy to the role. Jake Busey has several moments where he adds this look or delivery of a line that has you groaning, but it is not bad. Bai Ling’s work here is almost as bad as “Pig Killer.” I’m familiar with several of her older roles and I’ve met her at several conventions, so I’m aware of what she can deliver. I find these stereotypical performances off putting and an impediment to enjoying the film.
Bottom-line, I wouldn’t go out of my way to rent SCALPER on VOD or a digital platform. If it shows up on something you already have a subscription to, you're a diehard genre fan and any of the actors in the film I’d suggest viewing it. However, if you’re a more cultivated consumer of genre entertainment you might be disappointed. I’d be interested in seeing Chad Ferrin directing something he hasn’t written.
CAST: Susan Priver, Jake Busey, Bai Ling, Kate Patel, Scott Vogel, Jon Budinoff, and Robert Miano. CREW: Director/Screenplay/Producer - Chad Ferrin; Producers - Robert Miano & Jeff Olan; Cinematographer - Jeff Billings; Score - Richard Band; Editor - Jahad Frif; Production Designer - Viktoriia Vlasenko; Costume Designer - KerriAnne Savastano; Special Effects Makeup - Joe Castro; Visual Effects - Jeff Billings. Get To Know Me <3
> Three Ships: My current OTPs that I'm currently obsessed with are WangXian of MDZS and Shen Jiu with happiness of SVSSS. I literally cannot stop my love for the former ship and my desire to see the later be given the love he deserves. And for the third...umm well a comfort pairing of mine from South Park is Craig and Tweek. I liked their dynamic as friends who were unwillingly became basically a grade school relationship then actually became an actual couple at the end of it, but my love for these cute boys grew when they showed up as adults in the Post-COVID Movie still being together (I have no clue whether they're still in a romantic relationship but I chose to believe it). They're cute 🧡
> First Ship: Oh gosh. Um, the earliest I can recall shipping or actively looking for content for a pairing was ShadAmy from the Sonic series (*艸*). It was definitely my introduction to fanfics and fandom culture in general.
> Last Song: Into the Night by Santana ft. Chad Kroeger! The amount of nostalgia I got from listening to this song hits me hard every time!! It's a really good song to just imagine your favorite pairing meeting for the first time in a dance of romance trope.
> Last Movie: I recently watched Avatar (2009) because I had just watched the sequel without remembering much of the first movie. There was definitely flaws in the pacing and storyline of both movies but I still enjoyed it nonetheless because I love the worldbuilding of Pandora.
> Currently Reading: Other than fanfics, I'm still reading Origin by Dan Brown and so far I'm just so strung along like a fish. I AM HOOKED. The Robert Langdon series is one of my favorite book series ever and its because of the puzzles and mysteries I try to figure out, connect the dots y'know? I love solving puzzles, ciphers, and anything that gets my fish brain going. (Also keeping myself updated on Relic of the Stronghold by akali_mist on Webnovel 👀)
> Currently Consuming: If by 'consuming' in relation to food, I'm eating the nerds candy. Specifically the grape & strawberry flavor. In terms of fanworks? Anything MXTX and Criminal Minds flavored.
> Currently Craving: Noodles or pasta. It's late and I want pasta or spicy noodles.

Oh! A GTKM! :0
Thank you for the tag Emi @applepi00 ! ^^
I haven't done one of these in while because I don't have a lot active mutuals that I talk to often to tag in one of these anymore. (´∀`;)
But this was simple enough so I decided to shoot my shot. I could only think of 7 to tag so I hope that's alright.

Xtro (1982) is one of those movies. Either you love it… or you say, “WTF?” Or maybe both! Luckily, the 80s Grue-Crew are joined by guest host Dirk Rogers, an Xtro fan, to help sort out the mess and to point out why he likes it so much. It took a while for the crew to get the finer points, so you’ll have to check out the episode to see if any of Dirk’s teachings sink in.
The film depicts an alien impregnating human women with a “plunger” appendage and giving an eleven-year-old boy the power to bring anything he can imagine into reality. How could one expect anything but a five-ring circus?
At the time of this writing, Xtro is available on physical media as an all-region import Blu-ray formatted disc from Second Sight Films.
Every two weeks, Gruesome Magazine’s Decades of Horror 1980s podcast will cover another horror film from the 1980s. The next episode’s film, chosen by Bill, will be Death Ship (1980)!
