The ch'ou t'i is a bizarre creature from Chinese folklore that has a head at either side of its body. Descriptions of it vary, with some saying that its heads are porcine and others saying they more closely resemble dogs.

The ch'ou t'i's two heads are said to make it very stubborn. Jorge Luis Borges said the creature lives in the southern wilds between the Red River and the Desert of Shifting Sands.
