In which I decide to mess up a fairy tale (Cinderella in this case!), just for the hell of it. So... Cracktastic Tales presents... your dose of entertainment! Melara is Cinderella, Maggy the Frog is the fairy godmother who tells you the truth in your face and Jaime is prince charming. Of course, not everything as it seems. Cuz it turns out Jaime becomes interested in lord Renly's lady knight, everyone thinks Jaime will choose Melara and Melara notices things. 1/?

Meanwhile, Cersei is hellbent on destroying Melara, only to be thwarted by Maggy at every turn (she's tots enjoying it too). And Bronn is the one of worst fairy godfathers Tyrion has ever met, but he doesn't mind. Tysha doesn't mind him either. And Melara is having a blast at the ball, despite everything cuz at least Jaime was honest with her. And if she somehow meets a young nice man from the Riverlands, well... there's no reason to say that her time at the ball went unrewarded. As for Brienne? No fairy godmother, no curfews at twelve, no magic, just herself. And she tots didn't expect for Jaime, freaking, Lannister to be interested in her. And that fact leaves everyone at the ball reeling cuz it's not Melara lord Jaime will be courting, it's Brienne of Tarth. It's the most scandalous thing they've heard, but neither courting party cares. And what happens to Cersei? Let's just say she blew a several gaskets. And everyone lived as closest as happy as they could (cuz this is Westeros and anything can happen, but they'll be okay whatever destiny throws them anyways). Now, I'm rooting for Melara, Tysha and Brienne to become friends for some crazy reason. And the bonus is that C hates them all. There should be a club and everything: The Cersei Hate club.

I can def. write her some meta at some point I mean there’s sadly not much we can say other than SHE FUCKING DESERVED BETTER even if I know it’s going to be a request for masochism given how people dismiss her ending *cough*, as far as fics goes I’m def. writing that one I mentioned at some point and then we shall see ;) thank you!

Seems to be as straightforward as Maggy could get away with, especially in English where death isn't usually referred as "she". Considering that even after this vague prophecy Cersei attacked and possibly maimed Maggy, she really did what she could. Too bad for Melara, you can fight the self-fulfilling prophecies.
