*SOMETIME AGO*
“Blood manipulation training day 1,” you talk to the camera and back up to show Itadori, Kamo, and Choso training, but first you pamper yourself and smile at the camera before stepping away to let the others get in view.
“What are you doing?” Kamo asks right as he spots the camera across the mat.
The three of you look at him and you glance at the camera as if it isn’t obvious before looking back at him and explaining. “Recording today's training? It’s good to record some part of it and go back to see what you did wrong. Aoi and I would do that when Yuki trained us. It’s,” you snort and shake your head. “It’s a pretty good idea. We have a lot of funny reels—”
“Fine.”
You pout at the boy's interruption and sit down on one of the benches to watch the blood manipulators at work.
Honestly, you wouldn’t have come but Choso insisted because he wanted to show you how he taught his brother.
“Hm…the trick to convergence,” Choso muses as he rubs his chin in a very smug manner.
“It looks like I’ll be doing switch training with Okkotsu, and Kusakabe,” Itadori says. “So I’ll need to work on blood manipulation the hard way. And we only have one month. Gimme every piece of advice ya got!”
“Through blood and tears,” you interject quietly as you think of a funny pun, and end up catching the attention of all three men.
“Oh,” Yuji feigns a laugh, whilst Kamo looks at you unamused, and Choso rubs his chin and squints at you.
“You’ll just need to learn through blood and tears Itadori,” you repeat louder and a lot more smug because you could think of something you deem funny.
“Literally,” he feigns another laugh and this time Choso finally snorts and chuckles, making you smile wider.
“Good one,” he points at you. “I like that one.”
You shrug smugly and cross one leg over there. “Now why don’t you show me what you got baby.”
Choso’s cheeks grow a shade of pink but he doesn’t falter this time, not in front of his brother.
“Well, convergence,” he turns and swings his arm. “It’s kinda like this…” he pauses and swings to the other side. “Then like that…then a lil’…”
Oh, what a sweet man. As good of a brother as he is, he doesn't really know how to teach does he?
“Seriously dude?!” Itadori remarks.
Then again maybe it’s the student as well.
“Cho!” You call him out, and he peers back to listen. “Why don’t you show him that blood armor thing?!” You suggest so he could take off his vest and his shirt.
“Well,” he finally tells you smugly without breaking into timidness. “Maybe…”
“He’s not ready,” Kamo cuts him off and faces Itadori. “Think of bathing in hot water. You can feel the heat encompassing your entire body. In that same way, you can expand your blood vessels, creating a vague outline of your body. That’s the basic foundation of blood manipulation. ”
Hm simple enough. A lot more helpful than Choso's way of teaching.
“Like when you piss yourself?” Itadori surprises you by blurting, which shouldn't be surprising, he has this goofy sense of humor, but still, ew.
“Uh, whatever works,” Kamo mutters with the same disgust you feel.
“Convergence is a technique that compresses your blood,” Kamo continues sharing with Itadori. “Meaning we can use a sponge or paper- anything that can be crumpled in your hand easily—To help with imagining it’s a similar feeling, cans or clay work too.” He motions with his hand, making Itafori nod in comprehension before turning to face his older brother.
“Choso,” he says. “This is what it means to teach someone.”
You look over at your boyfriend and can’t help but smile and grin even brighter when he starts to point at himself. “Supernova! Ask me about Supernova!”
“For starters,” Kamo counters quite respectfully. “We don’t have time to make blood manipulation a potent weapon for Itadori. It’ll be better for him to get the basics of stitching and stopping blood down.”
“Hmph,” Choso huffs in defeat and with a hanging pout that makes you walk over behind him to probe.
“I would like to know about Supernova.”
Choso slumps down and mutters in defeat. “You can’t even use blood manipulation.”
You push away from him and sit back down with the same pout he just used when he got rejected for teaching.
So much for tagging along!
Nevertheless amidst your growing boredom as you listen to Kamo, your phone rings, and when you check, it’s none other than your business partner, Kong.
“Oh, well what a welcoming surprise,” you greet the man smoothly. “Kong. Honey.”
At the sound of the man’s name Choso slowly sits up straight after being brushed aside to be replaced by the better teacher.
“Geto,” Kong greets quite irritatedly.
You sigh and sit back. “Can we make this quick, I’m in the middle of something.”
“Fine, get this man to stop following me. I gave you everything you needed. You found Geto, leave me alone,” he says rather brashly, which is not to your liking.
“Oh? Well fine,” you feign reassurance but then lean forward and actually click your tongue and inhale deeply as you prepare to bring something up. “But lately there’s been this…well, how can I put this…rat running around in my business…and you know if you don’t kill them they just fester and then it’s hard getting rid of them. What should I do?” You ask casually and glance at your nails.
Kong doesn’t miss what you’re insinuating with that clever choice of words so he sighs deeply and quickly argues. “I gave you everything you have. It’s all mine.”
You sit up and laugh, genuinely laugh, making his breath falter.
“You believe that?” You ask quietly in a voice that makes chills run down Choso’s spine.
“I know it,” Kamo claims confidently.
You feign a smile and remark sweetly. “Your business would’ve been nothing without me. I made it what it is, it’s mine, but because you did lend me a hand in starting it, I’ll give you a second chance. Or else I’ll call the exterminator, it’s not impossible to get rid of rats. Good day, Kong.”
You end the call and put your phone away before sitting up and swinging one leg over the other to continue watching the teaching going on in front of you.
“You know…” Choso trails on. “I could show you piercing blood. It’s pretty simple.”
You blink and look over at him, feeling your whole body ease at the mere sight of those rich brown eyes and that sweet smile. And after seeing him get turned down for teaching after being so excited and talking your ear off about all the things he’d teach Yuji, how can you turn him down?
“All right,” you give in and jump to your feet.
Choso follows you up and slips behind you to slip his hands under your elbows and push your arms out, making you smirk mischievously and bat your lashes before peering over at him.
Choso sees that smirk playing on your lips and swallows thickly before looking at your hands. “Focus,” he scolds you softly since he’s fighting the temptation of your soft lips calling his own to you.
“Okay then tell me.”
“Well,” He goes on and slithers his hands down your arms to grasp the back of your hands and push them together.
“It usually, you know, runs up to my fingers and I shoot. And that happens by bringing up all the blood to my hands and shooting at my target,” he says with growing excitement that makes you genuinely smile and just watch how his pupils glimmer. “I usually feel the heat and a…blood orb collects in between my palms before I shoot it. Which is similar to fire, hm?”
You summon fire to your palms, feeling the heat of the flames run through your veins before they glow under your fingertips. You don’t intend to shoot so you can keep the fire inside so as to not make a mess and disrupt the other learning opportunity happening across from you, but you give Choso your answer.
“Hm,” you hum in agreement and turn your head slightly to meet his gaze, feeling his burning desire under his inventive gaze, and his hot passion on your hips as he gently squeezes them.
“Your stance matters,” he speaks quietly but in an enticing way. “Your footing on the ground must be strong.” He says and glances at your lips, making you feel his blood rushing down to his member between his legs since he presses himself close to your back.
“What else?” You purr and bat your lashes, making him part his lips and breathe in but not mutter anything, you leave him at a loss for words over such simple gestures.
But he also burns you up with his intoxicating smell engulfing your sense of smell, those soft pink lips grazing the side of your ear, his hot breath unfurling over your cheekbone, and that sexy look in those beautiful rich eyes.
He’s such a distraction as he stands so close and that’s a mistake because before you know it, fire shoots out of your hands pointed ahead. When you feel it slip out of your fingers it’s already flying right in between Kamo and Itadori, and hitting the wall, completely missing them by mere inches.
“Oh,” you gasp and cover your mouth.
Choso steps back and looks at the burning hole you made and then looks at the shocked faces of his brother and very distant relative.
“I’m sorry,” you quickly say apologetically as you clutch onto your chest. “I’m…” you trail off and glance over at Choso, but that’s a grave mistake because the moment you do, you both watch each other with guilt for a second, but then you both look over at the black hole emitting smoke from the aftermath and start laughing.
Kamo and Itadori don’t find it funny because they were close to getting burnt, and Choso does feel sorry for almost being the cause of hurting his little brother, but you both can’t help but just laugh with each other. It’s like you’re enticed by each other, and hearing each other laugh only feeds into your humor.
——
*NOW*
Amidst the scorching heat that was quick to force itself through your secret art technique that was slowly failing at keeping you and Yuji safe from Sukuna’s divine flames, was suddenly a life-saving coolness that came with a pitch darkness.
Perhaps it’s your end, this was death coming back to collect what escaped its grasp before.
You don’t want to die. Not yet. Not in front of Choso, not when Satori is waiting for you to go and pick her up to take her home. You don’t want to die here either…
However, before you can convince yourself you’re dead, through the deafening darkness is Choso. He’s very close to you, and he was the one who saved you and Yuji from those deadly flames.
You had heard him calling out to you before, but this wildfire was so overwhelming that your mind quickly drifted your attention away. But now he’s here, he’s your savior and you can't help but smile with relief until your heart sinks to your stomach and this sudden bone-chilling fear hits you.
Something doesn’t feel right. Something doesn’t look right about him keeping up the shield made of blood, and rather than him just being covered in soot and slashes like Yuji and you, Choso seems to be getting slowly consumed by fire. And you would know, you have that technique, you know how it kills a person and the pungent smell of burning flesh.
But this can’t be what you see or smell, not from him.
“Choso,” your voice shakes while you still want to smile as you cling onto hope.
Said man meets your gaze and a charming smile decorates his features. He then glances at his brother and his smile only turns more fond as he speaks his name and yours with a gentle tenderness.
“Choso?!” Yuji exclaims as he too starts to realize what you do but what you keep wanting to refuse.
“What are you doing?!” Yuji proceeds to yell.
You study your husband's face and that fire seems to be consuming more of him right in front of you, and you can’t even stop it.
“You can’t do this!” Yuji remarks.
That smile doesn’t falter, his eyes drift down but that charming smile stays on his face. “I’m sorry,” he finally explains what’s going on. “I was useless during training. Your big brother tends to do things instinctively.”
Why can’t he stop?
Why don’t the flames stop?
Why?
“Cho—” Yuji cuts himself off mid-shout and draws in a shaky breath before his face falls and averts his gaze. “Instinctively, huh? You really hit the nail on the head…” he trails off and shares a moment of silence with his brother that makes you think that he needs to stop or he’ll die. The fire keeps eating at him. It keeps taking more of him away from you.
“Choso,” your whisper trembles, and the charming man slowly looks over at you. This time that smile falters.
“What are you doing?” You ask the same thing Yuji asked not long ago in hopes the answer would change and the outcome would be a hopeful one.
“My love,” he whispers softly and with so much fondness. “I’m sorry.”
You shake your head and step forward. “You promised,” you throw at him with a burst of anger. “You swore!”
He nods without shame and swallows back a lump of emotions he didn’t want you or his brother to see. “I did, I meant to keep that promise, I really did, but what husband, what brother, and what father would I be if I let you all die when I can do something to stop it?”
“We could find a way,” you argue desperately. “I can—”
“No, I saw it,” he cuts you off confidently. “You were going to collapse and I was going to have to watch you die all over again. I don’t want to live just to see that again, you deserve a happy life. I wish—”
“No!” You bellow mid-sentence and want to lunge forward to grab his face as if that would stop the inevitable, but the space is so small that there's no room to move any further, leaving him just out of arm's reach.
“Please, no,” your anger falters and your agony seeps through. “Please…Choso. Tell me what you want to say after. Please,” you break into a shaky sob.
His smile trembles and his eyes cloud with tears, but instead of saying all the beautiful things he wants to recite to you from one moment to another your surroundings go from grim and then to a serene view of vivid green hills, and a timid sun letting the night sky shine.
“Tsukumo threatened to pop my head off my body if I ever hurt you,” Choso mentions casually. “I didn’t believe she could do it until I saw her technique at work.”
You blink and keep your eyes fixated on the beautiful scene conjured up by nothing but the last remnants of his will.
“She was really protective of you,” he mumbles as he starts to notice your aggravation. “But that’s how big sisters are…” he trails off and he reaches over to grab your hand but you pull it away and hug your knees to your chest as you keep watching the gentle breeze move the sea of grass.
“I’ve,” you stammer and clear your throat to let your anger sound clear. “I've lost so many people I have loved, and maybe it’s my fault. I’ve gotten attached to them in this cruel world, but…I thought you wouldn’t let me down. You out of everyone. So w-why?” You can’t help but cry before you snap your head to the side to pierce your watery glare into him. “W-why are you leaving me?”
Choso sees how the last glimmers of the sun capture your eyes and his breath catches in his throat while that tough act falls because the truth is you were one of the few people he could be completely vulnerable with. You could see him sob and he wouldn’t feel like he was looking weak, he didn’t feel like he was letting someone down by crying in front of them. He feels comforted.
“I don't want to,” he finally admits with every word pampered with emotion. “I wanted to live a long life with you and our family. I want to be a father, I want to be by your side, but I’ve lost you once, and I’ve let Yuji down once, I can’t do it again. I can’t…so please don’t fight me on this, my love, please just let me look at you one more time. That way when I look into your eyes all I’ll see is my sun…my moon…my stars…my most beloved, my love, you.”
You can’t. You can’t accept this fate, you can’t pretend to be okay just to make him feel better about his sacrifice. No matter how sweet his words are, you don’t want them to be the last thing you hear, you don’t want this to be your final moments together.
You can’t be selfless. Your heart shattering and turning to nothing but dust terrorizes you. Your chest collapses within itself, and the beauty of the world vanishes to nothing, so you can’t smile.
You sit across from him like you would do when you would watch the city in your sleepless nights when you were trapped in that apartment for nine days. You hold his gaze with your eyes pampered with tears so you can plead and beg speechlessly and desperately like your life depended on it. Because it does, he’s the light that had once vanished in your life, he’s your hope and a part of your soul. How can you not fight for his life?
“Please don’t do this to me,” you cry, but not in that made-up world, you tell his withering body that had little to nothing left of the man you love because of that scorching fire that keeps consuming him.
“I love you,” he redirects endearingly and with that same amount of appreciation and tenderness he always held for you since the day he remembered who you were and what you meant to his old soul.
Albeit you’re selfish, these are the last words you’ll hear from him. Ever. After this…all he’ll be is a memory and you can’t accept it. You already lost one man you loved to death, you can’t lose another one to him again. Not again.
“Choso please don't do this! Stop! Please stop,” you beg with your life. “Choso!”
He holds your fire-kissed eyes that he loves so much and that he found hope in after a century of darkness, and all he sees is his joy as well as the love of his life and he can't be happier that fate was kind enough to let him cross paths with you.
“I love you,” he says a lot softer and with a quiver he can’t hide.
“No,” you sob. “Don’t leave me, please don’t leave me!”
He wishes he could stay and live a long life, he hates hearing you plead so heartbrokenly, but he can’t watch you or Yuji die, he has to do what he needs to do.
Thus he holds your gaze for a lingering second and then looks at his little brother.
“Thank you Yuji,” he now dedicates his last words to his little brother before his life can be taken once and for all. “Thank you for being my little brother.”
Yuji inhales sharply and shakily before filling his brother's heart with sweet words full of love. “Thank you. Big brother…”
After those words are uttered Choso’s chest stops moving once and for all, filling his protective blood bubble with a grieving silence that you can’t process.
You stand there with no heart left, and hundreds of words left in your mouth that you never got to tell him.
“Choso,” you call out even if you’re looking at a cruel reality. “My love?”
The protective blood shield that kept your surroundings dark begins to collapse welcoming a grim sight of thick smoke and a burnt city, proving Choso’s attempts worthwhile.
But you can’t be appreciative, not when his lifeless body falls on the ash-covered ground with a thud. You actually can’t even believe he’s gone—no refuse to accept the truth.
“Choso,” you cry out and crawl over to his body that would’ve been unrecognizable if you hadn’t seen him burn away. “Choso, baby, you,” you say between sobs. “You’re okay. You’ll be okay.”
You gently cradle him and lean your face down towards his. “Just heal, you can do that,” you speak madness. “Do that for me please.”
You don’t think of your babies growing inside you who won’t know their father, you don’t care about his brother he left behind or that some part of you thinks you deserve this agony for all the things you’ve done, all you care about is him and your grief.
“Choso, honey,” you coo as you caress his hardened face. “Heal. Please,” you beg.
There’s still so much you want to tell him. You still need to tell him you love him, how grateful you are to him for loving you even after all the evil you did, for loving someone so cruel and selfish; for seeing the good, your strength, and your beauty. You never got to thank him for all the happiness he filled you with, or for caring for your daughter the way he did.
You never got to tell him that he was the love of your life, or that he completed your soul.
He left you like Suguru left you, and like Satoru did.
He left you empty with no heart or soul left. There’s an empty shell, left even more hollow without your brother. And it hurts, it pains you deeply with such an agonizing pain you have never felt before. It leaves you numb and unaware of the fact that in the blink of an eye, you were suddenly transported with lifeless Choso in your arms just past the area Sukuna vaporized with his fire.
From one moment to another, you’re facing a leveled city straight out of apolocpyse, and the next you’re staring numbly at an abandoned city as empty as the husk you call your body.
You would say that you were alleviated from that sense of danger, but the truth is you didn’t feel it. You don't feel the urgency to move away and protect yourself or who you carry in your body, nothing matters but the hope that Choso will somehow return. And now that nothing else surrounds you, now that Sukuna isn’t stomping your way through the clouds of smoke, you just disassociate yourself. By will or not you don’t know or care. You’re alone, truly alone.
And once again you can’t cling onto the love you have for your kids, no matter how hard you want to, you can’t depend all your happiness on a little girl. How could you give her that burden?
So it means that your greatest fear came true, you’re alone at the end of the world, carrying the corpse of your happiness, half your soul, and surrounded by the fading debris of what used to be.
What can you do now but lay down on the cold ground beside Choso’s corpse and nuzzle against him like you would in the mornings when you were both just relaxing before starting your day. You drape your arm around him like you liked to do so you could keep him close and bask in his warmth. You rest your head on his chest as if you were listening to his heartbeat.
Your world is now so desolate that nothing matters. You’re not cold or in a hurry to help.
You don’t care—or try not to…But the truth is you’re terrified and in withering pain. And never in your life have you ever felt so alone like now.
“You’re such a liar,” you whisper as if he could hear you. “You lied to me. You swore and you lied.”
You should hate him, find happiness, and hate him for leaving you the way he did, but you can’t even fathom the thought. You’re too in love with him to ever hate him or the happy memories that will surely turn sour soon.
“Why did you have to leave me?” You demand to know from a corpse as you refuse to accept reality. “Why? I love you so much…I told you I would die for you…”
You trail off to wait for a response because you know he’d tell you to shut up about doing something stupid, but it was far from a lie, and it was romantic in your head.
Now you understand why that foolish man from that tragic story killed himself for the woman he loved. You understand his pain, and his desperation to see the one you love again so you won’t have to spend a second longer without them. You know now why he couldn’t fathom living on…
Because there’s nothing left. You’re all alone, and there’s nothing worse than that. Which is why you’ll do it.
You’ll die for the man you love.
“Because,” you swear to whatever bind that holds power in your world. “What does strength mean compared to living without you? What is pride when there’s nothing to be proud of in the wake of your loss that will always hurt me and feel like a fresh wound? I don’t want to drag on without you. So please,” you sob into his chest. “Bring him back, I don’t care if he’s a non-sorcerer, just bring him back…”
You’ll give it up, your strength and power that held you so above everyone else. You’ll live as the people you hated. You’ll love the kind of people you hated and scorned for what they couldn’t have just so you don’t live without him. You will leave behind the person you took so long to build to your image. You will die just so you can live on with him by your side until the day you die.
And it can be a few hours from now, you don’t care, you just want him back.
“Please,” you beg whatever force made up the binding vows. “Please.”
You slowly sit up to look at Choso’s face, or what was left of him, and beg with all your agony and might. “Please just come back. Please Choso.” You whisper breathlessly and lean down to whisper against his lips and plead one more time with all the might and sincerity you hold.
“Please come back as gentle and sweet, as caring and passionate, as funny and protective as you were.”
You close your eyes and press your lips against Choso’s one more time, unaware of the fate you sealed, and of the gift of life and death you gave from deep inside of your withered soul with a sweet kiss.
When silence follows to consume you once again, it soon gets disrupted, but this time it’s not you that fills it with sorrowful words, this time Shoko calls out your name, but you don’t bother to get up.
Not because you’re waiting to see if your fate is sealed, you just don’t get up because you don’t have the energy. You’re too numb.
“Honey, get up and let me take you both inside,” she speaks sweetly and with caution.
You stay quiet and still as if you were lifeless yourself, so Shoko decides to slowly walk to you while someone else decides to cut in now; someone younger and sweeter and who doesn’t smoke ten packs in an hour.
Kirara calls out for you and they’re much faster to reach you and actually attempt to see if you were alive, or dead like the man you’re cradling.
“You can be with him inside. Come on, I'll help you.” They offer.
You close your eyes and sigh shakily, letting more hot tears stream down your cheeks,
“Come on,” Kirara doesn’t plead with you, she grabs your arm but makes sure to caress it as she offers her comfort first. “I’m sure this is uncomfortable, and I’m sure you’re cold.”
If you get up you’ll see Kirara, you’ll welcome their comfort. You’ll see Shoko and appreciate her attempts at comforting you, but you’ll still be alone, you won’t see the one person who you’re aching to see in such a low time in your life, Satoru won’t be there to wrap you an embrace or silently sit with you to provide comfort in a way he knows how.
You’ll stand surrounded by people but be abandoned.
“No,” you say hoarsely and grab onto Choso’s body a little tighter. “I want to stay here with him, I’m waiting.”
You open your eyes and catch Kirara's worried glance they share with Shoko.
Yet even then Shoko doesn’t walk over, so Kirara pulls you up and to avoid actually being a nuisance you push yourself up, but never take your eyes off Choso’s corpse.
“You fought well,” Kirara praises you as they wrap a blanket around your shoulders. “You all did.”
“I’ll have someone carry him inside you’ve already overstrained yourself,” Shoko breaks her silence that you begin to find odd. You’re surprised she’s not by your side being as worried as Kirara, she's actually being rather pushy after you returned from fighting Kenjaku.
Maybe all this has just taken a toll on her…
“You’ve been outside too long you feel rather cold,” Kirara points out as they drag their feet with you as you move slowly as if doing so is wearing you down.
“Shoko,” you catch the woman off guard and slowly drag your eyes up, letting her see how red your eyes are from crying so much, and the beautiful tragedy scared on every detail of your face and only spread its roots deeper within you. She can especially see such tragedy in your eyes, it’s hard to miss just like the sudden change.
Once furious eyes blazing with mesmerizing and ferocious fire are losing their mark.
But how, she wonders. Is your grief really impacting you so hard that it’s taking a physical toll on you?
“Kirara let's walk her into my office, I want to check on her,” she tells them as if you’re not there—then again you kind of aren’t there.
“Yuji? Where is Yuji?” You finally express your concern.
Shoko meets your gaze but quickly averts it. “Still fighting,” she lets you know and doesn’t fully relieve you of that worry, but you’re relieved he’s still alive.
“Todo used his technique and brought you in,” Kirara trails on after Shoko.
Aoi?
You glance over at Kirara with worry and they don’t fail to quickly assure you as if they knew what you were going to ask. “He’s fine, he should be helping Itadori fight now, so don’t worry.”
You sigh with relief even if now you have a bigger knot in your stomach because Todo is fighting now too.
“Kinji?” You ask for a man you haven’t heard anything about, even though given the fact that he wasn’t out fighting Sukuna, or here now means he should still be fighting Uraume.
“He’s still fighting, just like you said he would,” Kirara tells you with hope still laced in her voice which makes you think how beautiful it is to hear before you reach Shoko and wonder why she’s having such a hard time meeting your eyes, or even being close to you.
“Shoko,” you call out softly to your best friend and have Kirara stop so you can reach for Shoko’s arm with the intent to ask if she’s okay, or if something else happened, but then just as you thought that this was the end of your world, another pair of footsteps echo towards you.
You don’t think anything of it, you don’t want to because you assume someone is coming to collect Choso’s body, but Shoko shifts her head away and you catch a glimpse of black shoes you recognize. Black shoes you recognized first not long ago.
Can it be?
No, it can't, he's…dead.
But…
You draw in a deep and trembling breath and slowly scale your eyes up the approaching figure, feeling your pulse quickly racing as you recognize those baggy white pants you once thought were too big to wear for a fight, and that tight black shirt that hugged him tightly.
As you reach his face you question your sanity. It has to be your grief, it can’t be who you think it is right across from you.
He’s dead. He…he…
Oh, but those eyes. They’re so unique and so kind. How can you mistake that lively gleam in his eyes that always accompanied him? How can you mistake those bright eyes that you called home, that you found comfort in when you were terrified and upset?
You can’t mistake the eyes of your beloved older brother. You can’t miss the fact that his chest is moving and that he blinks. You can’t mistake him for an illusion because he revives that hope you had just lost with the death of your most beloved.
You can’t mistake him because he’s standing right there in front of you amongst the silent wind, the distant and unwelcoming warmth, and under the dry sky.
“Satoru,” you muse blissfully.

🌿🍒 yuta and kinji
"Oh what the hell, I thought I told these guys not ta let you guys through..."
Kinji sees he'll have to beat up some idiots until theyre black and blue later, but he isn't unfamiliar with Yuta. The kid who was instantly granted special grade entering the school he was suspended from, and killed Suguru Geto as well during Christmas Eve of a few years ago. Clicking his tongue to what Yuta is asking of him, he steps aside to let the other in, but then suddenly stops him, gives him a kiss on the cheek, and then guides the gaze upward, with a frown.

"My partner put that shit up there. Somethin' about people caught under it should kiss or somethin', but they're the only person who I'd been kissin'. Kinda habit, my bad. Take a seat, n' tell me why ya bothered comin'. If it's about the school, you can also walk right out, but don't expect no goodbye kiss."

“No way I’m sleeping for dinner tonight.” You stuffed your hair in a beanie and threw your hood over your eyes. Your smaller frame makes you easier to be dismissed as teenager, people just thinking you’re just an emo on their occasional stroll through the city, it was the perfect excuse they made up for you. Running into them, “stupid brat”, or just swiftly taking something passing it off as youre asking for directions. That was when you were just practicing; right now, you had to use those skills again. The bustling city really tones itself down when the third clan moved in.
No one knows where they came from, but they’re worse than the Zenin Gang. The Gojo Gang was supposed to be there to even them out but with the Ryomen gang, everyone was so scare of them that half the population started to stay inside, that’s what it seemed.
“Lucky.” Some dumbass just entered your alley to take a phone call. Knowing your size you’d be apprehended immediately, but if it’s one person, you could quickly snatch something and you’d be living like a king once again (until the next poor soul comes across your path.) You just didn’t find the use in a job, being stuck in this world that would use you just for being born, you wanted to prove it wrong.
You toss your trash and start walking towards this figure, making it seem like you were just passing them. They ignore you and you smile because this is the perfect time to “Oof!”
You smack into the man in the alley and you get knocked on your ass. The man stands tall and barely moves. “Call me back in 5 minutes.”
The man hangs up his phone and looks down at you. “All this space in this alley and you run into me? Really? You don’t think it’s obvious what you’re trying to do kid?”
You’ve never had a confrontation like this before. What the hell, how did he stand so still, it was like running into a wall. “He’s got me figured out, guess i’ll just return his wallet while he still thinks i’m a kid.”
You reach into your jacket and he grabs your arm. “Are you trying to retrurn this to me?” He pulls out his wallet, you thought you grabbed that? Did he take it back at the last second? Did you never take it? “Or are you finding a weapon. Do you need it that badly that you’ll go up against me?”
“I don’t know you.” You answer. You want to run away but he couches down to you, making you face him. “I don’t blame you.” He grabs at your hat and hood, taking them off, along with your giant jacket.
“Oh? I wouldn’t have noticed you were a bitch.” He was being rough, or maybe it was gentle for him, but this was fucked, you had to leave, now. You try to get up but he grabs your shoulder, keeping you down with him.
“What do you want? Jut let me go.” He’s gotta have other plans if he didn’t want to be bothered.
He laughs like that was funny. “Let you go? You knocked into /me/. It was your whole idea to get involved.”
You didn’t know what do to, he was making shit up now. He tried to lean close but you moved back. I like that. He moves in again and you grit your teeth and try to hit him. He punches you in the stomach so hard you stop breathing for a second. It was awful, god what the fuck was he gonna kill you? That’s too far for stealing a wallet.
“Remember what Ive been saying?”
You heave over yourself.
“I’ll just train you better, your reaction is quite nice.“
His phone rings as you try to collect yourself. You could barely move, much less drag yourself to sit up against the wall. Every breath of life was agonizing.
“Yeah, perfect timing, yeah I was just teaching this bitch a lesson. Tried to steal my wallet just now. Ballsy.” He says while looking down at you.
Holy fucking shit you were in fear. Your legs couldn’t move if you tried. You just knew he was dangerous if this was normal for him.
You shrink down yourself down to minimize the pain barely anything came up but still you were heaving.
He comes over and stomps on you while listening in on the phone. His large boot putting pressure between your legs.
Were you enjoying this? The strange man just won’t stop grinding himself in the right spot, the pain subsided and you looked like a breathless messy pervert on the street.
“Hey are you paying attention?!” The person on the phone almost yelled out.
“Ill call you back.”
He stopped the pressure when you started to squirm and humor yourself into his boot. He lifts you up in with one arm.
He looks at you with cold eyes. “You’re fucked up.”
“You-you” You breathed through hungry breaths.
“Wow, okay.” He rolls his eyes and grabs at you. “Lets see if you can handle me then.”
“That’s not what i meant!” You tried to back yourself away from him when he grabs at your face and wipes it off, looking around for something. There’s a corner past the other end of the alley, and he drags you there, bending you over the wall.
“Is this all you want?” You spit out.
“You’re so nonchalant about this.”
“Being out here this long, it’s bound to happen.” Life on the street, this is the reason why you had to cover up you were a woman. It didn’t help that you looked smaller, easier if anything. It wasn’t anything new for survival.
“They told me I was great, couldn’t even last 2 minutes.“
“Then you shouldn’t be worried” He whips it out.
Your stomach dropped. “What the fuck wait-“
He spits on his tip only and angles it down, centering where your cervix may be. He thrusts in, tearing your walls apart, you scream out loud and he punches you in the back of the head, almost making you black out for a second.
“Shhhh oooh wow you are great,” He grunts as you still find space for him. “But can you survive me?”
Your head hurt, your legs hurt, you can’t do much but go limp and bear it. He was ruining you. His dick make your legs go numb, they just hit you so hard deep inside that you feel the shock in your face and toes with each assault.
All you could do was manage your breathing through this, holy shit this was something else. He grabs your neck with his forearm, choking you while pulling him closer to him, going even deeper, making you cry.
“Aw does this hurt?” He whispers in your ear.
“F-Fuck you.”
He chuckled. “You started squeezing me each time you hear my voice, are you that easy to train?”
You let out another cry and hit the wall with your fist, trying to redirect some of the pain. He stays in you and grinds into you, he’s just trying to make u cum to humiliate you.
He reaches around and kisses at your neck and drops you up and down on him. The rhythm is making you go insane and it feels like he has so many hands with he way he keeps everywhere occupied.
You cum so hard you actually squirt, wait did you? You’ve never done that before so truthfully it was as embarrassing as it was shocking. You couldn’t stop shaking from your core.
“Jesus, I’m gonna need new pants.” You cling to the wall, face tingling, you couldn’t even try out your legs, it was out of the question. You let yourself start to feel, shaking as a wave of emotions creep toward you as you hoped to be left alone in the alley, but he surprises you. “C’mon we’re going home.”
He grabs at you, picking your tired, half naked body up. You wanted to thrash and be freed, but if you risk kicking at his head, you might as well be begging to eat the curb. Before you know it you’re stuffed into a tinted out car in the barren street.
Avoiding eye contact, you sat still in the middle of the packed car. One of them had the decency to give you their jacket to cover yourself up with, but you couldn’t stop the smell, you smelled like and looked like sex. You were just happy it was over, though haven’t you heard this before, ‘Never let them bring you to a second location?” You were about to freak out again until the person next to you grabbed your arms and blindfolded you.
—————-
They drag you out the car and have you follow them for what felt like the longest few minutes of your life. You find your senses quickly, the blindfold was taken off and you were somewhat free again. “Here.” Your escorts pushed you into the room.
You’ve been brought to where it looked like these two girls were waiting to clean you up. Without saying much, they get to work.
At it for a good half hour, most of your injuries were treated. They keep you awake in case you have a concussion.
“You two leave.” Your captor entered the room.
“But her head-“
“I was the one who gave her the injury, I know how hard I hit her. Now leave before I decide to cut alliances with your father, and take you two along with this pitiful bitch.”
The girls hold their breath and take nothing with them, leaving you two alone. When you’re not in a u Jed away spot in the street together, he actually started to look larger by comparison. Do you really think you could’ve taken him on?
What was there to say? What was he going to do to you? Did that matter anymore? You hold onto your belly, tracing over the bruises he left, not being able to stomach another hit from him in your current condition. The large man walks over to your bed.
Towering over you, admiring his work, “I came back only because you didn’t satisfy me. I mean I make you a squirting mess and you mess up my pants? That doesn’t sound fair does it?”
“Who are you?” You don’t dare to move or the ache will start again. “How do you have all this power?”
He sounded amused. “You still haven’t figured it out yet? Or did I hit you too hard.” He flicks your forehead.
“Seriously!”
You’re sure of it, there’s no way someone like you would’ve ever met anyone from the top 3. You had no business with them, you stayed out of their business and locations. “My name is Sukuna.”
As the thoughts crossed your mind, he takes ur blanket off and sees you all cleaned up, of course, still bruised and swollen from just before.
Tearing off the blanket, immediately ripping apart the robes and cloths that covered you, he exposes you and keeps your legs spread. No warning, he just dives right in. You’re taken aback by the sudden collision. His tongue dances around your sex before he starts lapping you up. His flattened tongue grazing your clit then sucking at it had your whole body reacting.
He picked your legs up to get a better angle. His hot mouth felt like it was melting into you. It wasn’t long before he brought you to orgasm again, but just with his mouth. It wasn’t enough for him, he needed more.
Stuffing a few fingers into you, he doesn’t stop and continues working on your clit with his tongue again. Barely giving you time to recover from the sensitivity, you jolted more as he picked up his pacing, barely able to hold back screams.
Riding out your second orgasm into his hand, he looks down amused. “I needed to relieved some stress today, maybe the gods are finally listening to me. But was it luck? Fate? Hm…”
What is he talking about, weren’t you the one with semi brain damage?
The high leaves your body, though you could still feel it in you face. Sukuna takes his digits out of you and picks you up by the face. His other hand unsheatheding himself from his robes.
His erection was terrifying. Seeing it again made your body ache and you were screaming, at least you would if you found the strength but it was beat out of you, before, and now.
You couldnt stand for a second you thought his scar and tattooed decorated body was beautiful. That jawline, his dark features softened by his pink hair, and this distinguishing look in his eyes. Though cruel and harsh, scary like him, there was something else there. Not that you had time to look.
His cruelty brings you back. Shoving you full of his cock, rutting his hips in deeper every chance you think he’s done, he digs deeper. As he sits upright, he has gravity do most of the work. Putting his hands on the small of your back, using that to push you down further onto him. You were getting uncomfortable with this cock warming.
He was just digging holes into you now. Almost bored, watching your legs cringe at every grind. Your face contorting with pain and relief from moves only he’ll allow. He’s enjoying himself enough to almost forget that this was just a pit stop.
“Make me cum and I’ll go.” He says.
Through the pain, unable to ignore him, you ask, “What?”
“You heard me. If I’m late I can just skip my meetings and punish you for the rest of the day.” He threatened.
You pick yourself up with your thighs on top of his, the adjustment made it feel bigger, you were uncomfortable but you knew that it would be tighter from this angle. You’re trembling as your arms are weak yet they were pushing your body up onto his.
He looks down a bit amused. “Do you need some help?” Without waiting he puts his hands under your arms and pick you up, finally angling it right and dropping you down, his head hitting into your cervix.
“Mmm- Ahhh!” Youd cry out, wrapping your arms around his neck to better manage your weight. If you let go he’d break you, you held yourself up as much as you could but Sukuna doesn’t really like a clingy partner. He rips one arm off his neck and uses that hold to maneuver you above him.
“Hhhh! Hhhhahh….” Your short screams had become gasps and sighs, getting sweeter as he kept a rhythm. He grabs at your neck and face, pushing you to face him and you just kiss him violently back.
Pushing your chest onto his, feeling his blood rush as you can only manage to smother his face with sloppy kisses.
With this, he takes that as the go to and puts you back on your back, bending your knees up and makes your face go numb. Without a warning he slaps you so hard you almost rag doll. He laughs at you again, and pulls out, making a sloshing sound.
Almost embarrassed because of the noises you were making without him, he flips you over and shoves your face into the pillow. He slaps you ass hard, your scream silences as he pushes you further in the bed with his dick. He doesn’t stop, this feeling was deeper than you felt before, it was breaking you now.
“What’s my name bitch?” He’s gasping out.
“SUK-“ He slaps your ass. “SUH aH-“ He grabs stir, not letting you finish as he starts to relentlessly buck into you. “AHHH! SUKUNA!” You cry.
The pain and numbness; pleasure and confusion were all messing with your senses. Your cries were like melody to his ears, so much so he decided to choke you from behind. Your gasps and pathetic grunts desperately trying to get your brain some air, it drove him crazy.
He growls and grinds into you as he lays all his weight on you, like he claimed ownership. He’s so deep in you you couldn’t breathe and now you could feel it. He was twitching inside you, and something hot was spreading from inside. This was insane, with the weight, the asphyxiation, it was so much and oh-
Your body tensed up, toes curled and your fingers clenching onto whatever sheets and skin you could find at the moment. He dug his head and bit into your sweet spot. Sukuna’s arm that grabbed your neck, traveled to your womb, lifting you further into him as you came onto his still twitching cock.
“You didn’t do much this time,” He holds you on top of him still as he skewers through you, “but I can forgive you. Rest.” Sukuna stands up and lets you slip off of him, back into the bed weak as ever. He puts his robe back on and looks down at you from the bed. You couldn’t care, you’re just tired from the most unexpected few hours you’ve ever lived through. It wasn’t so much crazy as it was weird.
Dusting himself off, fixing the details of his new outfit, he stands up to leave. You watch as he carries himself with such a highly regard, you can’t help but rethink his status. He opens the door, to your surprise he speaks to someone.
“I told you I wouldn’t need long.” He says to the people outside. Were they there the whole time? What the hell was going on anymore. Was life as you knew it over? If you weren’t already, you were SO fucked.
“When the girls are done shopping tell them to clean her up, again.”

SPOILERS CH 6 FROM JJK S2
I just watched the episode and some thoughts I had.
_ The opening is incredible. I looked loop on twitter!!!! All the symbolism, the scenes, the hand signals (I feel like I'll never forget what Mahoraga's wheel looks like after this). I almost cried with Nanamin and Nobara. I don't want to lose them!!!! This season is going to be great!!!!! I'm not ready for her pain. (Could we have some extra scenes????)
Tumblr media
_ Yuji wanting his friends to see the movies he likes is so cute!!! I don't remember if it's the same movie he talked about with Junpei, but it reminded me of him and the scene that was supposed to be cute turned into tears in my eyes. (Nobara was right, that movie looks disgusting)
Tumblr media
_ Why did I have the impression that Osawa was blonde???? Whatever, she looks adorable and I feel a little bad for her. As someone who has been bullied because of her weight, I can sympathize with her situation. I would also want to date Yuji after what he said (Yuji looks equally as cute in the flashbacks, but it's weird to see him without the scars under his eyes)
Tumblr media
_ Nobara, my girl!!!!! I miss them so much!!!! Don't go to Shibuya my daughter! Stay at home or go find Saori!!!! DO NOT GO NEAR SHIBUYA!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
_ Megumi really looks like someone who is jealous, but won't show it. And who takes a book to a conversation with their friend?????? (Me and Megumi) Of course, I missed him a little looking at his beautiful nails, but it's cute how he was willing to carry Yuji's stuff as he said goodbye to Osawa.
Tumblr media
_ YUJI MY BEAUTIFUL BABY!!!!! HE IS TOO PRECIOUS FOR THIS WORLD!!!!!!! I don't want him to ever lose that beautiful, pure, fun smile, but that's asking too much.
_ I didn't lose that crumb from Itafushi, MAPPA!!!!! Yuji knowing Megumi's favorite popcorn flavor is so JAJSSJSDMJSJKS. I bet it's something he's noticed whenever they watch a movie at the theater. I'm actually surprised it's butterscotch. Megumi looked like the type of guy who eats salty popcorn.
Tumblr media
_ Argh, Utahime looks so sad as she thinks about kokichi. I want to hug her a little. The poor thing loves her students and (according to GG) they love her too…
Tumblr media
_ I feel a little sorry for Kokichi. He just wanted to be able to live normally, be with his friends, be with Miwa. These two are so distressing. Why can't any couple in JJK be happy????? I don't even want to think about how this could implicate Kirara and Hakari (GG I swear if you touch any of them I'll smack that giant eye of yours!!!!!)
Tumblr media
_ MechamaruxMahito's fight looks very good. I'm really excited for this!!!! I laughed when Kenny appeared on the screen with a smile and a wave. The man is really having fun with it all.
Tumblr media
_ WHAT A BEAUTIFUL ENDING!!!! I love Akari, but this song is really good too. Megumi taking pictures reminded me of the lyrics of Island in the Sun (his theme song according to GG). "We'll be playin' and havin' fun. And it makes me feel so fine, I can't control my brain" Man, he just wanted to be able to rest a little, have a normal life, take pictures of silly things. Oh, and he probably handed the camera to Nobara or she sneaked it, because there are pictures of him and Yuji distracted!!!!! Nobara definitely supports them (and used these photos as blackmail). Thanks for those crumbs, Mappa. This ending will heal my broken heart.
Tumblr media
It was such a good, fun, light episode. My last ray of sunshine before being swallowed by the storm. In the next chapter we'll start with the angst, and frankly, I'm not ready.

Shippo and Kagome sat alongside the riverbed, Shippo with snacks and Kagome with her bow and arrow. She stared into the river, watching the fish cascade downwards into the unknown. Shippo could hint that her mind was elsewhere but decided not to bother her. So much had transpired in the last few weeks that a little silence wouldn't hurt anyone.
"Hmm.." Kagome rubbed the body of her bow, eyes narrowing in thought.
"Shippo," she reached behind her to grab her backpack that also doubled as a satchel. Reaching inside, she grabbed Mei's sword and pulled the hilt out of the knapsack. She rubbed the indentation where the shards used to be and frowned.
I could have done more. I should have done more. But what else was I supposed to do? She is the woman of Inuyasha's sworn enemy and- Inuyasha-
"Kagome?" she looked over at Shippo's direction without saying much else. Her eyes, sad and somber, focused back into the water. Shippo wondered what he could do, but then thought not to bother the issue any longer.
"Whatever happens, Kagome." Shippo placed a reassuring hand on her knee. "I'm sure her sword will make it back to her."
"Hm." That's true, but what's going to happen to Mei in the process? I-
"Kagome! Kagomeee!" Both Kagome and Shippo shot their heads up to the noise. In the distance she saw Inuyasha with Miroku, Sango on top of Kirara running towards them. Inuyasha was mouthing something that she couldn't make out.
"What!" She stood to her feet, sword clutched in her hand.
"—r ——d!"
"What! I can't hear you!"
"G—- Sw—-d!"
Kagome was growing frustrated. Before she could open her mouth again, she heard a familiar sound growing louder and louder. She turned on her heel and saw dozens of Saimiyosho rapidly approaching from the opposite direction.
Shippo noticed them too. With a jump, he buried his snacks in his kimono top and hid behind Kagome.
"Kagome! The Saimyosho are coming!" Kagome took a step back, a chill going up her spine.
"Kagome!" Inuyasha's voice boomed as he was only able meters away.
"The sword! Give me the sword!" Kagome pivoted on her heel to start running Inyasha's direction only to be met with a blast of miasma. The Saimiyosho were angry, and she knew this was nothing but Naraku written all over it.
"Ah!" Kagome crouched down to cover her and Shippo, dropping the sword at her side.
"No! Kagome! Don't let go of the-" BOOM! The earth rumbled below them, sending everyone on foot toppling to the ground. They were standing near an open field, so what could that be? War machines? A mercenary battling in the forest?
No. The trees in front of them began to rumble as hoards of wildlife escaped the dark abyss from below and up high. The echoes of large footsteps grew louder and louder until the trees themself bowed down at the foot of a giant demon. He stood over the 80 ft trees with ease, glowing eyes darting madly around the premises. He looked to be made of earth, stone, and wood in some places. His teeth sharp and jaw slack as his eyes darted around, looking for something. Or somebody.
The group could vaguely make out some person sitting on its shoulder. Everyone but Inuyasha.
"Naraku." He seethed, clutching the hilt of his sword. "Come again to wreak havoc again in the name of your whore, I see."
Naraku narrowed his eyes at Inuyasha. His frown deepening as he spotted what he ultimately came for: Mei's sword.
"I wish no battle with you, Inuyasha. I am just here to fully collect what was lost in the forest. I-"
"Where is she, Naraku!" Naraku's eyes darted at Kagome. "Where did you take her! What did you do to her!"
Naraku tilted his head to the side, visibly confused. Did she know?
His eyes wandered back to the giant demon. "Kuroishi, do me a favor," The beast eyes glowed to life and his Saimyosho hovered close to the beast, ready to strike. Everyone could feel the ominous presence emitting off Naraku, one stronger than before.
Naraku hovered his arm in the air, face stoic and focused. He narrowed his eyes at the group and pointed his finger at the sword.
"Retrieve it." The beast roared offensively, cueing Naraku to leap into a nearby tree. Kuroishi grabbed a nearby boulder and projected it at max speed towards the group, sending everyone to flee in different directions.
"Kagome!" Inuyasha leaped around the swarming Saimyosho towards Kagome, slicing at the ones who got too close. He grabbed Kagome and Shippo in both of his hands, leaving the sword where it lay.
"Wait! Inuyasha!" Kagome flailed, reaching out to grab the sword before she got too far away.
"Just leave it! If Naraku wants it so badly, let him have it!"
"What about Mei, Inuyasha?" He gritted his teeth.
"We have to get out of here, Kagome!" Without waiting for another rebuttal, Inuyasha kicked the sword closer towards the giant demon and turned on his heel.
"You just got back and the last thing I want to do is to fight an unnecessary fight over something that doesn't even belong to us!"
Kagome silently wiped her tears. Frustrated, confused and saddened by the ordeal, she decided to just let it go. Her heart was breaking, but she had no choice but to let it go.
Mei, wherever you are, I hope you're okay. Protect your sword, for your Father's sake. Please.
Kuroishi stopped in his tracks as he saw the group flee. The Saimyosho grouped together to lift Mei's sword up from the ground. It looked polished, with a slight chip at the hilt. Someone must have been taking care of it while it was away from her.
Naraku emerged from the thicket of bushes, his face more relaxed this time. He outstretched his hands so the Saimyosho could drop the sword. When it landed, he inspected it inch by inch. Everything seemed to be intact besides the obvious parts that were missing.
He smirked in satisfaction. He reached over towards the demon's ankle and pierced the skin to dig deep inside. The beast growled loudly, sending birds scattering in different directions out the trees. Once Naraku pulled his dirt and vine covered hand out of the beast, he revealed a shard. It was covered in dirt, some grey liquid substance and twine.
As he turned the shard around and around to further inspect, the demon shrank and shrank and shrank until it was nothing but a lowly black demon with amethyst colored eyes. It scrambled around and around, clearly confused and disoriented. Naraku found this demon wandering the forest and opted him to do his bidding with promise of fish and a few measly coins but the demon didn't expect to grow over 40 ft high!
"Don't you ever ask me for this favor ever again Naraku, you vile demon! I've never been so disorientated in my entire life." Naraku's eyebrow twitched in response. Kuroishi grumbled his way back into the forest with a faint shuffle of leaves. Naraku looked into the distance where he disappeared into and back up at his Saimyosho.
With a grunt, he turned on his heel and walked into the forest to go back home.
To go back to Mei.
-
Reiko looked a ways away from the group as she was out collecting herbs for her medicine back home. She heard the commotion and thought to watch everything unA strange dog demon and a woman in even stranger clothes fleeing on a... large cat?
"Boy," she sighed, shaking her head. "The youth get weirder and weirder as time goes on."
As she was about to wander back, she smelled him. It made her head jerk into his direction, completely devoid of the outside commotion unfolding. He smelled his daughter all over him to the point it made her nauseous.
She recognized that stare. She knew for certain that this was the one that caused- caused That day To happen. The blood in her body began to boil to see him so calm, so collected, so poised. When her entire life was shattered right in front of her. And to think that her daughter fell to his clutches made the blow that much more intense.
"Curse that Naraku.." she seethed. She wanted to act on her impulses so badly, but she held herself back. Se smelled her daughter, weakly, but she still smelled her. For whatever reason, that beast kept her alive. And until she was able to get her back home for herself she had no choice but to watch from a distance.
She tucked the familiar skull under her armpit with a frown.
"You know," she tapped the fracture dent in the middle of the skull, sucking her teeth in disappointment. "None of this would have happened had you had not been so greedy." her golden eyes snaked from the skull back towards the direction where Naraku stood.
An overwhelming regret washed over her. She pulled in her lips and blinked rapidly. What was this?
"Hm?" Reiko touched her fingers to her lips to feel the cool, salty stream that danced across them.
"My..." After one tear fell, she felt another, then another, then another. She closed her eyes, her lips curling upwards at the ends. She thought she let this side die the day Kenji and Mei were thought to be lost.
Flashes of her, now adult, daughter went back and forth in her mind. She needed to make sure she remembered that she was her mother and that she still cared about her.
No matter what the cost.
With a silent wipe of her tears, she turned on her heel and headed back into the forest back to the village.

We see Panda, Inumaki, Maki, Yuta, Itadori, Miwa, Momo, Choso, Hakari, Kirara, Kashimo, and Shoko
Shoko is reminiscing about Gojo and Geto and is hopeful about Gojo being unsealed
Yuki left behind a book for them about the back of the prison realm
I honestly have a bad feeling about next weeks chapter if everyone is gathered together in this one

ok jjk 221 lets get into it
mixed feelings on the unboxing. it was hilarious how unserious they all were and i didn't actually care that much because i love seeing all of them together <3 shoko <3 momo <3 kirara <3 maki <3 miwa <3 hakari <3 hana <3 lowkey i missed inumaki too. twas nice!! but the tone shift was really weird, i was hoping it would be more high stakes than that and it really feels like theyre going back to the 'let gojo handle it' mindset which. feels very much against the point considering the last thought we had from him before the culling game was 'i have faith in all of them.' its like nothing has changed since then.
it's also really weird that nothing has really been said about tengen. all of their actions have been pointing towards them being very untrustworthy and on their own side, and it just so happened that their goals at the time aligned with yuki and co's, but there's just been nothing. it feels very anticlimactic. they knew that gojo could have possibly died upon being unsealed and said nothing, they could've ended the culling game at the beginning and said nothing. like it goes back to yuki getting really mad at them back in ch 201 i think and then just going along with the plan and dying. it feels like there's no point, no fanfare, nobody cares about the really important parts. it feels like tengen's existence was unimportant and pushed aside despite their actions and existence being the reason (or helping the reason) why jujutsu society is so shitty?? idk if this makes a lot of sense but even their conversation with kenjaku in the last chapter... it just feels like tengen means nothing. that's annoying. but anyway
gojo's unboxing was so unserious but i hoped maybe he would go a little berserk when he was actually out. the ripped jacket was cool and i wish gege kept it, that wouldve fucked so hard but he's still suffering the disease of making his men buff when they shouldn't be :/ whatever i guess. up until sukuna showed up it really did seem as if he was going to go berserk which i was so here for!!! especially since the angel was kind of hyping it up. alas it was not to be 😔 which is annoying!!! at least we got a your mom joke? but anyway!! im glad at least gojo vs sukuna is happening first because its not as if kenny really wanted to fight him anyway unless some bullshit with their technique happens like last time with yuki. which would be stupid. but also im not sure how i feel about this upcoming battle though. it would tie back to the 'six eyes and ten shadows killed each other in the past' but one, it feels way too soon for that, and two, i think with the way gojo said 'you? a loser that had to run away from yuuji?' is hinting towards another conflict between sukuna and yuuji. i have many thoughts about this and i'll probably derail later so let's bookmark it here *
gojoken fight would be kind of stupid because if theyre leaving it all to gojo (😐) he would probably just one-shot them. realistically. yuuta coming to fulfill his promise to kill gojo's best friend for him would feel better personally because then his words would actually hold weight lmao and maybe he'll die too!! if gege is continuing his pattern of getting rid of the special-grades (unless he's only getting rid of the adult special-grades which is 😐but whatever!!!) yuuta doesn't really serve a purpose in the story rn anyway besides being gojo's temporary replacement so it wouldn't be a pointless loss either. especially if such a fight would show gojo that his students dont need to depend on him and they have grown in his absence. like he had faith in them to when he first got boxed!! though in that case maybe yuuta's death wouldn't be the best way to express that. unless kids like hakari and maki picked up the slack. idk. my thoughts are a mess rn bear with me here 🙏
* ok so in the last panel too gojo says that he'll win and sure, he could, because sukuna's not even at full strength yet. it makes me wonder where the other five fingers are since if they kill each other wouldn't it be a little pointless if sukuna was missing some fingers? you'd have to get rid of the rest of him through yuuji and that would be stupid. bookmarking this for later also * but anyway!! the game is changed now since sukuna has the ten shadows technique and knows how to use it better than megumi can so theres likely a real chance gojo would get hurt. maybe he'll even lose an eye this time and live to tell the tale considering hana and inumaki got to live (but then again are they really characters in the story anymore? 💀) if he did get hurt that would make it easier for a students vs kenjaku fight to take place as well
and about yuuji. sukuna's not 'running' from yuuji because he's scared but i'm sure that he's wary at least. there was that comment: 'right, this brat is from back then...' which was ambiguous in its meaning (im pretty sure he was saying 'this brat has been strong since back then [pre-sukuna]' or something like that but the possibility of some heian stuff going on is equally interesting!! and weird!!) but yeah. and its not as if being trapped in yuuji was a very convenient place to be anyway. gojo was probably just taunting him saying he was running from yuuji but he is wary of him at least!! especially since he's so sturdy or whatever. so i hope that between gojo vs sukuna someone gets hurt or dies because i think another fight between yuuji and sukuna would be a nice wrapping up. yuuji's active involvement with jujutsu started with sukuna and it would be cool to end it with him, too
not only that but there's also the whole 'if you die i'll kill you' 'so start by saving me, itadori' 'i have a few suggestions about how we can save fushiguro' thing thats going on between yuuji and megumi. we all know it so i guess i won't say it but that's more fuel for the sukuna vs yuuji fight right
* i think gojo is going to lose. if not against sukuna then he's going to lose against something. i'm torn between not feeling great about 'leave it all to gojo' and the adults' feelings that kids shouldn't have to take on adult problems but i think he's going to lose against someone and then the kids will fight so we can have both perspectives? the confidence with which he says 'i will win', the history between six eyes and ten shadows, the one-eye imagery in official arts combined with the weird timing and tone of his unboxing feel like they're spelling defeat but i'm just wondering how it's all going to tie in. like what order are these events going to happen? who's going to do what? how's this going to play out? which isn't even theorizing that's just waiting for the next chapter to come out kldehwjakfdjzhs since gege has dashed all my hopes and expectations. don't even know whos going to die anymore. but whatever!!
this ended up being very long 💀 if i've said anything that was immediately obvious sorry lmao

I had to alter my Ch. 11 pushing squad for 11-6 adverse, because my e0-1 Totter was finally proving to be dead weight and needed to be swapped out for the far superior Kirara.

Dear Satoru,
It’s been 6 months since the fall of Sukuna. It’s been six months since the merger and curses and cursed techniques as we know them have been eradicated.
You would think the world would know some kind of peace without getting terrorized by beasts. You would assume that the Jujutsu society as you know it would collapse with no true relevance behind it anymore, but roots can’t truly die without yanking them out of the ground.
How poetic of me I know, you’d laugh at me until you heard the whisperings I’ve heard about a fallen sorcerer taking a grip on the power-hungry minds of our old world, with no promise for revival of our power, just a promise of control, security, justice, and a grander eternity, a better society.
They’re all true markings of a messiah, a god, a prophet, a savior.
You would think they wouldn’t believe it, we’re too smart for that, aren’t we? But they all bow at the feet of none other than your little sister.
It seems she truly took something from Suguru. Maybe we should blame him for feeding her his crap. But then again all he would be is glad that she’s becoming the leader he only dreamed of becoming.
If only you were here, Satoru, you would have stopped her before she even could start scheming. Now who will stop her?
All the big sorcerer families follow her because they fear losing their control and power, even the quiet Inumaki family have a lot to say about her now since she turned them into one of the big three after the extinction of the Zen’in’s. And the Kamo’s are no better.
You would think Choso would stop her, and knock some sense into her, but maybe I’m expecting too much from him, he follows her blindly. Not even Yuji could convince him to talk to her, the boy is neither here nor there. He’s neutral, and why wouldn’t he be? He lost a lot. A promise for a greater tomorrow is tempting, even to me, but I couldn’t follow her. She doesn’t even talk to me, I don’t know how long she’ll stay mad at me. Maybe forever?
All I know about her is things I hear from whispers of other people; Kirara, or Yuji, but even that’s rare since I don’t really see them anymore.
What I do know is that what she’s doing is kind of working I admit that. After all, you paved the way after you killed the higher-ups. I would scold you over the outcome, but you’re not here so I’ll let you off and actually tell you that you’re having a niece and nephew; Tsukuyomi and Suki, did she ever tell you the names she and Choso picked?
I’m sorry I don’t know more, I wish I did, I wish I knew why she’s doing what she’s doing at great risk to her beloved peaceful life. Control? Power? Fear of being weak? I don’t know, I’m sorry. I really am.
That’s all I wanted to tell you this time, it’s something I couldn’t say out loud. And even if you’ll never read this it helped.
Yours truly, Shoko.
——
*YOU*
You can hear it, the cries of regret and sorrow echoing from the fire.
You can smell the smoke and flesh like something out of an apocalypse. But what is terror compared to the adrenaline rushing through your veins as people bow at your feet, in the same way, non-sorcerers would bow to Suguru?
Even if they are escaping their demise you still stand tall over the people accepting the way things need to be.
After desiring nothing but a better world for most of your life, finally you’re seeing that dream come true.
And yes there is an argument that can be had over the fact that cursed techniques and the power behind cursed energy are gone forever, but nothing changes who you all are and the society you were all born into. Everyone bowing sees that, you see that, and the people you love see that.
“Today marks an end to the old world,” you announce proudly to the crowd of ex-sorcerers. “Today marks the beginning of change and the start of our new world. We may not have our power, but we still know who we are, no one can take that away,” you trail on softer, causing murmurs to spread throughout the crowd.
“We will not fall. We will not be forgotten, we will live on as a greater society, better than the one the higher-ups and the old stubborn heads of our clans forced us to live under,” you don’t falter or let your confidence slip. Your smirk holds your glory, and your eyes shout your pride as well as your gentleness and sincerity.
Yet there’s a drop in your voice, one only Choso, Kirara, and Hakari can detect. “Part of it is due to…my brother, the wielder of the six eyes, and the limítless technique, Satoru Gojo,” you pause and sigh, as well as feel a weight fall on your frail chest. “He paved the way when he got rid of the higher-ups once and for all. He wanted a better world for the next generation, for the students he taught and cherished, and for the people he loved. He’s gone now but his will will not be forgotten, not by me. He’s part of the reason why I stand here…as well as for the ones I've lost, the ones treated unfairly because of what they were,” you mention and remember Nanako and Mimiko before you glance at Choso to speechlessly let him know that his brothers were in mind when you spoke those words.
“The ones snubbed,” you continue and now meet the gazes of Hakari and Kirara so they know you haven’t forgotten them or the treatment they were put under. When you look back at the ground you aim to portray the same sincerity so they know you mean what you’re saying and so that they can trust you.
“…And for all of you. Today marks the start of a new world for all of us!” You exclaim and grin, and much to your surprise the crowd erupts with excitement after a promise of a new tomorrow where the power they wield doesn’t really have to die. They’ll never know true power anymore, but thanks to what you promise they’ll never know the true loss of control or be as frail as the true non-sorcerers.
That should make you happy too—you are, you’re proud. You look at Choso standing beside you and find comfort and joy in holding his hand. You glance over at Kirara, Harkari, Larue, Miguel, and the rest of your family and you’re happy that you can keep your word for a better tomorrow, but when you see the mirage of your brother standing in front of the crowd, nothing takes away from the loneliness that surrounds you.
You’re isolated in a sea of solitude without him. You thought it would go away when Choso came back to life because that’s when it really sunk in, but this loneliness is deep and scarred in your bones with the only cure being your brother.
But you can’t live like that, you can’t wait for someone who won’t return, so you lead this change in your society, but the only thing that changed is seeing him standing there watching you.
Doesn’t he understand you're doing this all for him?
——
*10 YEARS LATER*
Dear Dad,
We’ve returned to our beach house in Italy, it’s been a few days since we got here. I’m sorry I haven’t caught up with you lately, life is pretty busy being the eldest of four siblings. It makes me think that Nanako and Mimiko had it easy with me when I was young.
As always I much prefer my time away from Japan, even if it is where I was born, it stopped feeling like home when you died. I didn’t realize that uneasiness until I got older. Plus with the Zen’in bastards demanding to pick up the family title and take the lands from Maki, Mother was pretty busy, it was only until a few weeks ago that she was able to find peace once again.
Now Maki still holds her family title and the lands that belong to her. And don’t worry, Kinji and Kirara stand in my mother's stead while she’s here. With them in Japan, the bastards won’t try to take advantage of her being on vacation. Actually, I don’t think it’s possible that they’ll try anything again, Mother made sure of it.
I only hope I am half the leader she is when it’s my turn to lead. Only two years left. Of course, mother says I can take my time, she doesn’t mind, but I know she’s exhausted, she can’t hide it from me anymore, I’m 16 now. And how could I delay mothers' hard work? She’s paved the way for me to step up and take my rightful place, I’m the future.
Or at least Mother says that’s what our people see when they look at me…if I’m honest I’m quite nervous, I wish you could comfort me.
One day right?
Anyway, speaking of mother, since we’ve gotten to our beach house mother has been lost in her thoughts a lot. She’s been more quiet than usual, she’s usually so happy and relaxed when she’s away from prying eyes and work, but ever since we’ve gotten here it seems like she’s…I don’t know, sad?
Maybe it’s her technique, she says she never regrets giving up her technique to save Choso’s life, but I see her, like I see her now out by the calm shore.
She misses the feel of the water embracing her, and I don’t mean the water we see around us, the small droplets of water not visible to the naked eye. She misses the fire's warmth under her skin, she misses the gentleness of the earth, and the whispers of the breeze. I know she does, I’m looking at her now, standing on the shore, letting the waves unfurl over her feet as she watches the horizon longingly.
I wish I could find something to say to her, like you always did—but then again, there Choso goes to her with little Ryusei in hand, and the moment they meet her at shore she smiles with all the endearment and joy, as if she’d give it all away without a thought just to live to see these moments.
But I still wonder what it is that has her so lost in thought…
Maybe I’ll ask her, what do you think?
Anyway, that's all for now. I’ll talk to you soon.
Love always, Satori
——
*YOU*
When is this loneliness supposed to go away? After ten years, the grief is supposed to turn to just simple memories and deep longing for the ones you lost, but the grief for Satoru still plagues you as if you had just lost him.
Why?
You grieved Suguru and came to peace with his loss. You were able to make peace with the loss of your twins and Kiyoshi. You grieved and moved from all those you lost. Choso, who has a big heart and spent a hundred and fifty years with his brothers was able to move on from his grief, but you can’t move past missing your brother.
You see him everywhere you go, no matter how far. He haunts your mind, and your dreams, and from time to time he plagues your happiness and turns it to ashes in your mouth.
You can be happy, you find your joy in many things, like Choso and all your children; and yes that includes Kirara and Hakari too. So you can be happy, but Satoru has left you living your worst fear. He’s left you alone for all eternity, and no matter how much you want to shake it, that ill feeling stays with you as if it were a part of you.
You do try to find a solution to your solitude, but it’s not in the breeze, or in the warm salt water that washes over your feet. It's not in the warm dancing flames or in the gentle earth. It lies in the grave with him. That’s your lifelong punishment…
You sigh deeply and longly, missing the approaching footsteps hitting the sand because of the waves crashing against shore. You don’t get alerted of the approaching presence until you hear a sweet voice call out to you. “Mama!”
You immediately find a reason to smile and when you turn around there they are like a light at the end of a tunnel, Choso and Ryusei.
“You’re finally awake!” You fawn over your 2-year-old child.
“You looked quite lonely out here,” Choso says as if he can read your mind. “So we thought we’d join you.”
You meet them halfway once they get close to shore and take Ryusei from Choso’s hold.
“You okay?” Choso presses, making your smile falter, but you don’t let Ryusei see it, you keep your smile plastered and that happy gleam in your eyes.
“Yeah, I’m just lost in thought,” you don’t lie since he knows you too well, and he also helps you in your lowest moments. You don’t want to lose that because you want to spare him from knowing your complex feelings; you'll talk to him in the same way he talks with you when it’s just the two of you alone.
“Hm,” Choso comprehends and closes the gap left between him and you to cup your cheek and caress your soft flesh.
“It’s a good thing we came when we did then, hm, Ryu?”
Said boy ignores his father and fiddles with the locket hanging off your neck.
“He hangs out too much with Yuji, don’t you, little one?” You tease him and tickle his belly, making him giggle before he searches the area.
“Uncle Yuji?” Ryusei now asks hopefully.
Choso shakes his head. “He’s not here yet, he’s coming tomorrow,”
Ryusei holds his father's gaze as the gears in his mind turn. He seems to understand the meaning but looks disappointed nonetheless.
“Maybe tonight we sleep outside?” You direct at Choso and bounce your eyebrows.
“Like in the grass?”
You look at him seriously before you snort and break into a lively chuckle. “No, silly, like in a tent. After we have a nice late-night picnic?”
“Oh.”
“Oh,” you nod with a grin. “I want to talk to you.”
Choso blinks and immediately stiffens. “About?” He probes.
You glance at the little boy in your arms and then back at Choso and shoot him a taunting smirk. “You’ll have to wait won’t you?”
Choso sighs and rolls his eyes. “It better be something worthwhile. You always leave me hanging.”
You giggle and lean towards him. “Aw baby, don’t worry,” you tease him. “We’re not breaking up. It’s not that talk.”
“Tsk.”
“Tsk,” Ryusei mocks his father, making both Choso and you look at your son quietly before you can’t help but feed into his habit by laughing. Ryusei laughs along with you but he’s quick to stray away and go limp, like a dead body, meaning he wants to be put down.
He’s so dramatic.
“All right, all right,” you trail off and put him down on the sand, but stay crouched to be at his level.
“Want to put your feet in the water?” You ask as you plant your palm on the sand and let him watch the wave roll over your hand before it gently pulls away.
Ryusei sees that it’s not hurting you so he bends down to mimic you and place his palm on the sand. As the wave takes a second to approach he looks back at Choso cautiously, but your husband shows no fear to reassure the boy.
“It’s okay,” Choso tells him. “It won’t hurt you this time.”
After being shoved back by a rough wave Ryusei has been very cautious about stepping back into the ocean or lake. He likes baths just fine, it’s just these large bodies of water that he’s grown very cautious over, so ever since then you’ve been trying to pull that fear out of him as best as you can without the abilities that once would wow Nanako, Mimiko, and Satori when they were children.
Albeit it's hard, it’s safe to say Ryusei wouldn’t have inherited your elemental technique if those still existed. Perhaps not even blood manipulation, he’s too gentle for it. Maybe something new, but who knows now.
Nevertheless, the wave finally rolls back in, but the moment the water submerges Ryusei’s hand he shrieks and quickly throws himself on you to escape such an evil element.
“Oh,” you coo and stifle your laugh. “It’s okay, the water is a good friend.”
You wrap your arm around him and lean in to press a kiss on his cheek, but Ryusei immediately pulls away as if you’ve done something horrible and wipes away your kiss.
“That’s mean Ryu,” Choso remarks, but the boy ignores him and instead points at his dad, meaning one thing, so you can’t help but flash a flustered smile before you give him what he wants and lean towards Choso to give him a juicy kiss on his lips, making Choso beam at you, and Ryusei giggle and cling onto you.
If this had been Amaterasu when she was Ryusei’s age, she would have smacked you for giving her dad so much affection in front of her. She was very clinging to Choso when she was younger, she still is, but less so because she’s 6 now. “She’s a big girl”, she says—Whatever, Daddy’s girl.
Nonetheless, just as you're thinking of the girl, she comes over running as if your thoughts had summoned her.
“Daddy! Mom! Suki and Tsu are fighting!”
Of course, peace is merely a dream now in your house, and it seems that as the older they get the chaos only gets wilder. But you can’t complain, they’re the reason you smile.
“They listen to you,” Choso immediately tells you as the shouting approaches.
“Yeah because I put my foot down,” you remind him of your stricter ways. “But I don’t think they need me to intervene yet.
“You’ll ground them ma?” Amaterasu immediately searches for strife. “I told them you would, Tsu pulled Suki's hair!”
You and Choso share a knowing look before drifting your focus to Suki and Tsukuyomi approaching whilst they’re in the midst of an argument of whodunit.
“Why do you always act so grown!” Suki shouts after her brother. “You never listen to me, I didn’t do it!”
Baby Ryusei turns to watch his siblings as they get closer with way too much amusement.
“Mom!” Tsukuyomi calls out for you and picks up his pace when he spots you close to the shore. “Mom, Suki—”
“Yeah snitch to mommy, mommas boy,” Suki grumbles with no attempt to actually be discreet, which in turn causes Tsukuyomi to halt dead in his tracks and spin on his heels to let his twin sister come to a skidding stop so he can pull her hair in the blink of an eye.
Ryusei bursts out laughing as if it’s the funniest thing in the world, while Tsukuyomi exclaims at his sister. “Shithead!”
Suki grabs his wrist and doesn’t get discouraged, she snaps back just as fiercely. “Amaterasu said that because it’s true,” she snickers, and the youngest girl lunges towards them to lie and defend herself.
“No, I didn’t! Daddy,” she drags Choso in. “I didn’t say it!”
Choso brushes his bangs back and walks over to break up the fight, you would go but it would just turn into a family brawl so you stay back and watch with slight amusement that might be too provoking in the sensitive situation, but you can’t help it. Besides, Satori walks over to join in the chaos and feeds you the correct intel.
“Suki and Amaterasu read Tsukuyomi’s journal and accidentally made it known by dropping water on some pages.”
Oh, sweet Amaterasu is such a good liar. You can imagine where she inherited such a habit, but you don’t want to even think of him. If Choso was okay with lying, he would tell his kids he and his brothers were gifted to his mother by some divine miracle, but if the kids ask he’s as honest as he can be. He’s too sweet to them, and as much as it bothers you at times, you can’t stay bothered or tell him to change, you love, love! that Choso is such a sweet and caring father, but sometimes it makes you the bad guy because you’re the one that disciplines them, but you don’t mean any harm and they know that when the storm passes. And as long as they do you’re okay with being the stricter parent, all you want is for them to have a sweet Father who isn’t afraid to love them.
You and Choso never had a caring father, so you want them to know a father's love, the same way Satori still cherishes Suguru’s unconditional love.
“Are you okay?” Satori breaks you away from the tension.
“Hm?” You probe in confusion.
Satori brushes her hair behind her ear and swallows back nervously before repeating herself. “Are you okay?”
You’re worried that she perhaps saw you outside wallowing in your solitude, but you’re also caught off guard because as you stare into her dark eyes you fail to see your little girl, she’s so grown up now; so much more mature and aware. It scares you that she’s so big, but you can’t help but be in awe too.
And as much as you want to hide your problems to spare her, you know that because she’s getting older she can bear more than she could when she was a child. So with some hesitance, you actually speak the sad truth. “I just miss Satoru, that's all.”
You briefly hold her gaze and see joy in her eyes because you confided in her, but you also catch pity for you too.
“Well,” she speaks softly. “It’s like Choso says, he lives inside us now, right?”
You sigh deeply and nod stiffly. “Yeah, that’s right. It’s just hard sometimes you know?”
“Hm, yeah I miss my dad all the time,” she says, making you close the gap between you to wrap your arm around her shoulder and pull her into a partial embrace.
Ryusei sees what’s happening and hugs your neck while he watches his father talk to the kids. You watch him too with a smile filled with pride and glee, but you also watch him with impatience because of what you have planned for the two of you later when the house is asleep and you finally have time to yourselves.
With four kids in the house, your time alone isn’t as common, so your escapes to be alone are special, especially the ones you plan because he always likes to beat you to the punch.
Nevertheless, what should’ve been a nice and passionate date outside under the clear night-littered sky, is ruined. Not by your children, but by rain that caught you by surprise and ruined your camping plans.
“Damn it! This sucks!” You whine.
Choso watches the rain fall over the tent and chuckles softly, making you pout.
“I told you it was going to rain today,” he remarks in amusement.
“It smells like rain doesn’t mean a thing,” you mock him and turn away from the back door to try and think of a quick solution that doesn’t involve just returning to your room and doing something there.
“Here,” Choso offers before he speed walks past you to exit the room, but then quickly return with your picnic box that you had pre-boxed while Ryusei ate his dinner.
“As much as I do enjoy a good time in the rain, we are more fragile now,” you remind him as if it hasn’t been a decade since you lost your techniques. “And as much as I do like taking care of you while you’re sick, please don’t do it on purpose.”
Choso shoots you a smirk before setting the box down, and pulling a blanket and candles out without letting your gaze go the entire time. And this time instead of interjecting you excitedly watch him extend the blanket in front of the glass door, and light the candles with a single match.
When he sits down he points to the empty spot across from him and you beam at him with admiration before plopping down and blurt the love you can’t contain. “See,” you whisper so sweetly that honey oozes off your voice. “I needed you.”
Through the candlelight you see Choso’s cheeks grow red the same way they did when you first met.
Even so, however, he doesn’t hold back either, he looks at you with never-ending love and admiration and fills the silence with sweet words. “And I’m glad my 150 years led me to you.”
You gasp softly and hold his gaze, and just like many times before, you see your happiness and the reminder of why you’ll never regret giving away a part of yourself for him. As strong as your technique made you, you love him more. And that will be the same in every lifetime.
You’re happy your life led you to him every day, even with all the bad you endured, you’ll go through it all again just be with him.
Does it sound selfish?
Maybe, but you don’t care.

A/N- Don’t you love when the ghosts of the dead haunt the mc’s? I love that trope! Also if Satoru somehow lives in the manga wouldn’t a sequel of this series be cool?

JJK CH. 225 LEAKS — PAGE 4
Tumblr media
Myamura: Miwa asks why isn't Sukuna just using Domain Expansion. Kirara rebutes miwa saying "You say it so easily but it would finish the battle immediately". Yuji says a must hit effect of a domain would penetrate Gojo's infinity.

RAINBOW DRAGON AND ELEPHANT!!!! SPRAYING WATER AND RAINBOWS!!!! LOVE WINS!!
(also love the idea that Hanami dislikes Ko-Guy, since Ko-Guy eats all of Hanami’s plants…)
And Kurourushi dislikes Hanami since she does not like his baby bro
These two are making the rainbow for the cursed pride parade that is happening below them! (humans only see a everyone dying around them by burning alive, turning into monsters, or being eaten/carried away into nothingness lol)
You read my mind for why Hanami hates Ko-Guy! Yes! He just keeps eating her plants as well as constantly asking her to make more (or biting her which she doesn't care too much about until he tries to bite her eye stalks, then she's throwing hands with him).
Hanami: .lla tA .yuG-oK ekil ton od I [I do not like Ko-Guy. At all.]
Kurourushi (brother mode activates): Valid but fuck you!
______________
Gotta think of other relationship dynamics for the curses because they are fun! Whatever this curse is (from ch 209 of the manga):
Tumblr media
Is definitely friends with the Roppongi curse and the Mannequin curse, and it also is the connecting/mutual friend for Smallpox Deity that connects the shopping curses to the sickness and bug curses.
Akuro-o Otake I can see also being a friend, or at least acquaintance with the Roppongi curse. As well as friends with Ganesha.
Similar with the curse that Inumaki fought in JJK 0, which is unnamed and I forget what shopping district it is in atm. That one I origianlly thought of being friends with Ganesha right after I was reminded that Ganesha existed, so that is definitely another relationship dynamic there!
Kechizu and Hanami are friends. Just love the idea that the two get along because Kechizu is younger sibling gamer coded to me and Hanami is the person the lil gamer talks to even if she hardly knows what is going on (also the fact that I love the idea she makes flower crowns/bracelets for others! She uses flower language both positive and negative, so she will insult people like Satoru with a flower crown without them knowing. She needs to give either a big flower crown to Kechizu because of his body type, or just give him a bracelet. She's done both for him).
Also, not a curse, but I love the idea that in another universe Hanami would have become friends with Kinji and Kirara! She takes dumb stupid risks/gambles like no other curse and I love that for her (and Toji would take Kinji, Kirara, and Dagon to a gambling place and make Dagon cheat for them because most people can't see curses. Especially at the water racing thing he was betting on in Hidden Inventory arc).
Jogo's not getting along with any of the other curses I bet. He still has fights with the disaster curses, of course he wouldn't be able to make friends easily with others. However! I love the idea that him and Juzo get into arguments about cursed tools and the history behind them. Just love Jogo being knowledgeable about cursed items and Juzo knowing lots of stuff about cursed weapons. So the two butt heads together a lot about what is correct and what isn't (and then Satoru takes the two on a field trip to look at the school's cursed tools because he's Satoru Gojo and can do shit like that, but he really wants to cause more drama while also getting more information about cursed tools. Probably Maki is there as well).
And then Dagon, Kurourushi, and Ko-guy have a whole frenemies thing going on as they fight over food. Definitely these three are bothering Uraume a bunch for good food (especially humans). And Uraume hates all of them because none of these curses can appreciate the effort that they put into making these foods like Sukuna does.
Mahito's the little outcast that no one really likes but every curse tolerates. There are definitely fun moments they all have together, especially when Mahito drags someone in on a little fun prank (usually aimed at Jogo)!
