Oh but maybe he doesn’t tell them until AFTER because otherwise there’s no way any of them would take it. And then when they do and he tells them their eyes just get extremely wide. Lorne just puts his head in his heads and is like “what the fuuuuuck” which they of course all find funny because (supposedly) Lorne doesn’t really swear all that often.

Lorne would immediately try to remove himself from the situation though, like everyone is immediately yelling at Michael meanwhile Lorne just quietly gets up and tries to leave. And they have to come up with some super valid reason for him to stay because otherwise he’ll just leave. They have to be like “if you don’t stay, who’s going to make sure we all stay safe” or “do you really trust us to be alone right now” or something like that. And he’s just like “fuck that’s a good point.”

But another thing with Lorne is that whenever he took anything, including hallucinogenic mushrooms, “He never becomes noticeably different under any circumstances. You can't get through the glaze of brown eyes. You can't go behind them.” Like in 1975 before they moved out to New York, Tom Schiller marveled at how Lorne was able to seriously talk business on the phone with Dick Ebersol while he was high on hallucinogenic mushrooms. Knowing this, none of them would be able to tell if Lorne was feeling anything like at all, like he’s just so naturally aloof anyway that no one would be able to tell (even if he’s internally screaming). I’m sure that if someone got him started then he’d go on this rant about how romance in the eyes of society is a construct and that it doesn’t matter what your sexuality is or who you like or even how many people you like because it’s literally all something made up by people who think they know how the world works.

But also because they can never tell if he’s feeling it, I can totally see them all being like like “wait let’s see who can get him to break first.”

Imagine what would happen if Lorne gets a phone call during all this and everyone’s like “oh shit.” But he just takes it perfectly and has zero problems fielding this nbc executive’s unwanted input and then politely telling them where they can shove their ‘advice.’ And whoever/all of them are just like “ok that’s hot but tbf Lorne standing up to corporate blowhards has always been kinda hot.”

Dan and Rosie are probably just vibing though, I mean for sure Dan is. They’re both super open about that kind of shit, like they have no problems being like “yeah so and so is hot as fuck, I’d hit that.” Knowing them, they are likely the ones stirring the metaphorical pot of sexual tension, letting Michael just kick back and enjoy the show.

What if they get on the topic of who’s the best kisser and Rosie is like “Lorne, hands down.” And Danny or Chevy or one of the girls is like “I’m going to be the judge of that” and then is immediately like “No, yeah, he’s very good.” Because I definitely see Lorne as a very selfless lover in general, like he prioritizes his partner(s) above himself which might have less to do with kissing and more to do with other things…

Oooo I’m picturing they light a bunch of candles, like maybe there’s a bunch of old candelabras and stuff seeing as Studio 8H was lowkey used as a storage space for some years before Saturday Night moved in. They also have some beds and couches they use for sets, so maybe they just use the set piece elevator to bring them in from wherever they keep them or something.

Maybe they talk about the sleepovers they had growing up and funny moments and all that. And Lorne admits he’s never had a sleepover before (you know, because of the whole no furniture thing), so the girls are immediately dead set on giving him the full sleepover experience.

The girls insisting on playing typical girly sleepover games like FMK, truth or dare, spin the bottle, two truths and one lie, etc.

The girls doing each other’s make up and then wanting to do the boys, who are of course all masculine and are like “fuck no.” But Rosie’s like, “oh Lorne will do it.” And Lorne just sighs because yeah, he can be a bit of a pushover sometimes with certain things.

They gossip about their crushes ofc (maybe Lorne admits there’s this guy he likes but he’s super vague and doesn’t give a name)

Oooo additional gossip about past flames, swapping stories about awful partners they’ve had and such

Lorne telling a scary story about the history of the studio and it being haunted. And he talks about how he spent a lot of time in the studio alone early on before everyone was hired and he talks about having had an experience with a ghost or something. It’s fake but he says it so convincing that it has them doubting if he’s telling the truth or not. (Rosie knows it’s fake cause he used to do ghost stories all the time to scare kids at summer camp growing up).

Maybe they have super deep convos about their lives and traumas

If you’re wanting Chevy/Lorne, I can picture Chevy wanting to leave but only staying because Lorne asked him too. “It’s cause he’s my boss, I can’t say no to my boss” he says but it’s really cause he’s soft for Lorne. Obviously spin the bottle can push any and all ship agendas, including the poly ones, and so can truth or dare.
